However, when his body turns up in the campus grounds on a cold Sunday morning, the two societies realize that they have been betrayed by someone in their ranks, and that the existence of their societies and the blood that trails behind it is at risk of discovery to the world.

TIME IS TICKING. The investigation is underway and everybody linked to the murder victim—friend, foe, and everything in between—has been rounded up for questioning. Tensions are running high and the investigation says that they’re near to cracking the case. The question is no longer if the murderer will be caught but how long they’ll last in the service of their art. What is morality, after all, if not just a matter of opinion?

DOMINUS is a literate, para-focused 7x7 dark academia roleplay focused on two rivalling secret societies and the tensions between them after the murder of a minor noble. Character development will be the focus of the group, though plot drops and challenges will occur regularly to ensure that the story moves forward. DOMINUS is inspired by works such as The Secret History, If We Were Villains, A Separate Peace, and Netflix’s Perfume.
