Dollzone Mo head with unpictured Souldoll body, Blossom doll Hyacinth (floating head), Dollshe Saint (floating head) and Dollzone old style boy body (no head yet - let me know if you see any old school Dollzone heads! I'd love another Mo or Hid).

My Dollshe Bernard turns 10 years, my first doll. I saved up to buy him for over 3 years, little by little. I was going to order from Tensiya first but then Iplehouse seemed like a better option, and it turned out to be a good choice- I got him in two weeks from ordering. Still haven’t had the heart to part from him, probably never will. I can now probably pay more attention to him too since my skills have overall gotten better, and I was even able to make him a wig that fits his awkward sized head.

So I kept this from you guys and I’m so so sorry...but almost a month ago I gave in and bought a Dollshe Bernard second hand (first second hand purchase...and I was a wreck but everything went smoothly and the only thing that I’m sorry about is that the seller is leaving this hobby because they were truly wonderful to me) I mean...when he got here I couldn’t believe this boy is from 2012...2012!!! his box came with all the stamps and stickers of that first trip..but anyway I’m digressing. 

So here’s my work, on his OE faceplate :) and I can finally say that Remi, Cam’s older brother is here!

-> Who are Cam and Remi you say? They are, along with Drew, the main characters of a story I’ve been working on for a while..problem is right now I’m not in the headspace to turn the pile of scribbled notes I have into something  semi-decent... but that will be coming your way very soon along with more updates and WIP and doll customizing (Faceups and tattoos)

Add Dollshe to the list of companies I never thought I’d own a doll from, and yet here we are. and the honor was bestowed on a character I honestly don’t think deserves it anymore, but man it was too perfect.

I’m not sure how I feel about his skintone, but I think it’s growing on me. I can see why photos of it are so inconsistent. It behaves very strangely and looks way more saturated than it is. It’s actually a fairly pleasant, desaturated olive, but still more olive than I was expecting. 

I definitely need to mod his bottom lids, but otherwise he’s a striking match for Cad. right down to the curious but downplayed little smile.

A long overdue new faceup and eyes for Jagram, too! His old one was so chipped... Took advantage of some recent nice days to freshen him up. ♥
