Berrie Skies, I could write an essay about how much I love her...

And so I will!

She's definitely the standout from Shadow High series three, which may be surprising since her color scheme and to an extent theme, are quite similar to Zooey from s2, but I guess it goes to show that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Clearly a bluey greeney techie girl works.

I had so much fun restyling her and setting up her Hacker Zone™, and I'm obsessed with her hair, her ringlets washed out soooooo nicely (once I chipped through the massive layer of gel she had lol)

Now I want to address one of the biggest criticisms s3 and the current dolls being released by rainbow/shadow high right now have been facing: the names.

Berrie is one of the least egregious, but almost all the new dolls being introduced have very.... on the nose names.

Pinky James, Scarlet Rose, Rosie Redwood, Lavender Lynn, BLU BROOKS??? LILAC LANE??? *PINKLY* PAIGE?????????? What's going on???

So I won't sit here and argue that all of these names are incredibly clever and smart, theyre not, BUT, Berrie is clever, in several ways!

Berrie Skies is a blue doll, which may seem very odd since generally berries are red/purple themed, but its been pointed out that her name actually comes from her tech themeing.

A raspberry pi is a specific brand of little coding computer, thing. I'm not a tech person so admittedly i don't actually know much at all about what it actually is. but it's a tech thing and thats Berrie's thing.

Pretty clever yeah? and ok she's blue because blue is a techie color.

is this confirmed? no ♡ but I made the mental connection and I thought it was cool!

If you have the chance absolutely pick up Berrie, she's so amazing.
