Man is there a name for like. When a piece of media breaches containment and gets known by normies who don't know much about that medium and/or genre. Hey... Do you know the song sung by the voice actor from the pilot Hazbin Hotel? Called Thank you and goodnight. Weirdly this song reminds me of Mystic Messenger, despite being a new fan and having been into this game until this year 2024 I already felt a connection, seeing old posts about this game from an old fan somehow makes me tear up. Despite I'm a fan of 2024, I somehow feel nostalgic about this game despite never actually experience it before

I'm the opposite of you: i'm an old fan of Mystic Messenger but i'm fairily new to the hazbin hotel fandom, having briefly been caught by the hype when the pilot came out and coming back to it in March of 2024.

Personally i agree that the song reminded me in a few instances of Mystic Messenger, tho it was only brief moments for me.

And i get what you mean by saying that the game feels nostalgic even for you, who is a new fan.

It's probably because the game came out in the golden era of games of the likes of: Five Night at Freddy's, Doki Doki: litterature club and Undertale which for me are games that feel weirdly nostalgic.

But that's only my speculation :)
