SIMPLE TALK: A SHORT STORY TELLING & THE QUALITY THAT HELPS ME TO PURSUE MY PASSION.

I have to talk about my passion. This thought made me asking myself” what is my passion?”, do I have something I really wanted to do in my life, the kind of thing I wanted to dedicate myself learning and doing it for the rest of my life?”. Scanning thru Instagram there are a lot of people who are good at something. There are painters, dancers, singers, poets and writers to name a few, but what about me? I do stuffs online, and photography is what makes me happy but I can’t say that this is the best thing about me, that it represents who I am. I can’t look myself and say I am a photographer. Back when I was a child I love drawing or painting landscape thru water colors, colored pencils and crayons. I remember asking my mother for colored pastels because they attract me of their textures and vibes when used by classmates. I also draw and designed all my projects in school, all are handmade and not to brag, I get a pretty good grade, I never dropped on 90% and as I grow I knew I can compete with it. That was the time I said to myself I wanted to be an artist. I wanted to paint, to draw I could see myself aging doing it but when my mother said, No, I have to focus in school, I didn’t feel the desire to do it even in my spare times, until I forgot about it. Then, I found myself writing poetries. Back then, I could write poetry about anything around me but most of them are romantics. I wanted to write about my feelings, my deepest emotions, my secrets so I say to myself I am going to be a writer. I also love literature and history. I love learning and reading, I can spend the rest of my day lying on my back with a coffee and just read and write. Poetry is my first love, but I also love writing stories. That’s when my love for movies came in. I really do love movies, and the thought that I go out to go to cinema with popcorns and drinks makes me excited. Whatever the genre, the Cinema makes me feel wonderful. Once, I said I wanted to be like Shakespeare but as I grow, I can’t say I wanted to be a fiction writer, nor a producer or a director. Back when I was a college student, I once signed up in a Film school to be a movie director but there was no fire within me to pursue it so I just took the papers and did nothing about it. Also, my parents believe that when you are a college graduate you can be anything you wanted to be, and the key to a financial freedom is having a degree. I don’t want to disappoint them so I said to myself, okay, I’ll follow their advices, but through that I sacrificed myself. In those times I was certain that I wanted to be a writer and a poet but I can’t pursue them because there was no money in writing unless you write crappy articles about somebody’s life. There was no financial freedom in poetry because just like drawing, painting, singing or dancing they were just tags as “hobbies”.

Doing what my parents want me to do is sacrificing what I wanted to do with my life. At first, it was so hurtful but when I saw their sacrifices for me, just to be in school, that was more hurtful. Poor people like us was just a slave of loan sharks and wealthy people. I feel horrible when my parents were treated like rugs. I feel like dying sitting on stairs just watching my grandmother counting her days battling a malignant diabetes, it was so devastating than sleeping and waking up on empty stomachs. So I finished school but not in flying colors, because the bad things that happened in my family really took a toll on me being away from home and with no money to buy my needs because I was saving up for my examination fees. Yes, I felt so poor and disappointed in life but I still fought my way to get through my graduation.

People like us, have no freedom to fight for our passions in life just because we are busy fighting to live every day. Finding what you wanted to do in life is not easy whether you are poor or rich there will be always that hindrance that will shook you to give up on your dreams. But there is one quality I learned in life while going through this journey. NEVER GIVE UP.

We have different experiences in life. I know there are a lot of people who gone through the worst things a person can ever imagine, but no matter how hard, how weary, how disappointed, how hopeless how negative things maybe NEVER GIVE UP. Never give up in believing that everything will be alright. Never give up in Hoping that bad days will just be the shadow of the good things ahead. Never give up for people who is always there with you whether in lightness or darkest of days. Never give up on your dreams. I do believe that in order to be truly happy you must do the things that you love.

Whether singing, dancing, painting or writing, find time to do the things that you love, whether you pursue it professionally, like you like to earn a living out of it, or you just love doing it, only you who can decide, just don't give up doing it. Don’t let the outer force from anybody cut off what makes your life meaningful and purposeful. Continue doing the things that you love and you will find peace and happiness within you that no amount of money or titles in the world can ever surpass it. What makes you happy no matter what that is, gives you identity. What you love is who you are. It defines you, it represents you. Having that to yourself will help you decide which path you'll anchor your life tomorrow.

🔆 💠 Wine marinated roast beef with homemade potato salad 🔆２𝟘/02/29/💠

Hello everyone out there ☺️ all of you, yes 😂 even those newcomers, who just came upon this blog post now by mistake or something. I want to make my sort of comeback to you as well as any of my followers, and step back into the world of blogging & Tumblr. You might be like what? who is this? 😄 I know that it has been a while, after undergoing some life changes I now feel I do have time for the things I do love again 💖🌸 You should always find some room for that. Especially on a leap day like this, which only happens once every four years. Learn to appreciate the little things and like me, enjoy them and whatever odd or unique may happen to you 😂☺️ That’s what counts to me at least. 

Anyhow, I now come bringing this food I recently made. It’s a really delicious potato salad which I highly recommend to anyone that’s trying to loose any weight, is lacking inspiration on a hectic day or simply wants to stay on the health track 😋 

This is very simple. Only a few ingredients are required, which I believe every health oriented person has laying in their fridges ☺︎ 

No.1 are of course the roast beef, for this occasion I chose the wine marinated. I somehow finds this kind to have a bit nicer taste than the regular one. 

What else will you need? 

1. 3 large stalks of celery

2. Red onions

3. Red balsamic vinegar ( for the coloration and somewhat nice refaction of tastes )

4. A couple of potatoes ( 2-4 ) ( peeled )

5. Some fresh dill

6. 2 stalks of chive

7. French Dijon Mustard

8. Low fat yogurt or sour cream

Start by heating up a pan with a tbsp of olive oil or any other oil of your choosing, I either go with this or coconut oil. These are my two personal favorites. 

Next thing you do is to chop the celery in small thin pieces and fry for about 5-10 minutes. Keep a plate ready to transfer them onto when done. Do the same with the chive 😜 except the frying part.

Slice onions in small slices and then continue with the potatoes, peel and boil for 10 minutes. Dice in pieces like cubes, grab a bowl and start putting them in along with the celery and chopped dill.

Add in the mustard, yogurt with that and mix everything together with a few sprinkles of the balsamic vinegar for that extraordinary taste. I’d say rather sweet and kind of sour in a way.

Does new decor mean a new you?

So I have recently(literally yesterday) redecorated my bedroom and I’m not sure what it is exactly but I feel completely different, like a whole new person... it’s like one day I’m an immature child who used to have sleepovers with 10 friends to this massively mature young woman finding her self in the world and sending her self off to the army for the rest of her life. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing becuase it’s the best I have felt in a long time, so tomorrow I am going down to calliope, just a place you go to which allows you to complete your recruitment, to get me started and I should be away for my training in a month or two, so I have two more shifts left as a sales assistant I finish on Saturday. Not going to lie i liked the job and everyone I worked with it was just the manager who I couldn’t get on with doesn’t matter what I tried to do to make her like me she just seemed to hate me no matter what I done. But the other people I worked with are such lovely people and I will miss them loads, I actually cried when they were telling me how much they were going to miss me so yeah I finish that chapter of my life this weekend and it has really helped me mature and actually realise what the real world is and how hard it is to find yourself in the world while doing a job you know isn’t what you want to be doing with your life. I know I have been so unsure about what I wanted to do first I wanted to be a midwife then I wanted to work with horses then I wanted to be in retail and eventually become a manager and maybe open up my own store but I have now realised they are not what I want to be doing with my life and that’s when I realised what have I always be interested in and what always get me excited and intrigued when I’m talking about it then I remembered it’s the Army I have always wanted to do it and I have always admired what they do everyday for our country and I can’t wait to be apart of that very soon, so you are probably wondering how this has anything to do with a freshly decorated room, well after doing up my room and leaving my childish years behind me I came to realise it is time to mature I can’t be going into the army still Acting like a child becuase I wouldn’t make it past basic training and I know how gutted i would be if I failed at something I massively want to do. So yeah that’s all I have for today I hope it helps some of you with whatever problems you may be having about being in a job you don’t like and finding what you really want to be doing with your life.
