Nexomon 1's gacha esque,rarity based evolution system was always on of the game's worst features. And by that i mean that I have been mad that my silly little sparkledog fanfrou never received an evo since i first played the game six spiteful years ago. Devastating turly

Anyway, triple dog barrage ahoy‼️ Redesigning Fanfrou and giving it two evolution forms based on its mobile and release ver! Designs and some entries for fun under the cut :3

Fanfrou

-This adorably capricious nexomon is best known for the precious minerals crested on its fluffy mane. Unpolished as the rocks are it is said that their beauty shall be revealed as each fanfrou achieves it's next form. Their big personalities make them popular with tamers and especially nexomon performers. They are,however, a big commitment and require plenty of attention lest they develop behavioural problems down the line

Malahound (hunter form)

->Evolves when LV30+ acquired affinity for offensive normal type moves

-A thrill-seeking nexomon built for speed and combat. Malahound's colar of vibrant crystals and rough, metallic mane protect it from most physical attacks. Despite the inherent type disadvantage, these nexomon have grown a taste for hunting and taunting flying type nexomon.Their independent nature and wild temperament make them difficult to handle for inexperienced tamers. It is recommended you establish good rappor and hierarchy with them as their tamer before their aggression becomes overwhelming. Their powerful noses and lighting reflexes make them popular with bounty hunters and professional trainers

->Notes on extinction: research suggests that this nexomon is an ancestor to Namansi

Malahound (protector form)

-> Evolves when LV30+acquired affinity for elemental type attacks and/or status moves

-A rather mild-natured nexomon, its big appetite stems from its long term-usage of powerful mineral moves. Due to their robust build, packs of Malahound were utilized for dragging sleds in the frozen tundra. Nowdays, with the emergence of other means of transportation, they are mostly utilized in rescue missions for people trapped under heavy snowfall. They have an apt sense of their surroundings and their greater affinity with their element has granted them the ability to feel changes in the soil. Even wild, they are disproportionately friendly to humans and stray Malahound have been reported to comically guide tourist groups or overzealous tamers through mountain paths. They are most popular with Families and social service workers

Besides dinosaurs, other of my favorite topics are monsters, especially those from mythology

All of these are from different medieval illustrations, manuscripts, bestiaries, etc. I chose the strangest, least known or unusual depictions of known creatures; there are a couple that didn't had names, so I made them up

Not counting the hydra, I avoided drawing dragons, because I want to save them for a future drawing heh. It was a fun thing to draw, I think my favorite of the bunch is the winged salamander

Inktober 52 2023 - Week 16 - ‘Grimm’

Bit of an odd prompt because that's more of a surname with the two m’s, but this made me think of the classic demon black dog *also known as a ‘Grim’ or ‘Church Grim’) from various UK folk lore. I started drawing what looked a bit like a Houndoom...so I ended up doing a Pokémon.

Because I can lol.

Dedicating this Doom Dog to @trsilvers a team rocket member with a Houndoom she can totally control.  Teehee.

Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.

All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
