Dog Days Season 3, Episode 12 [FINAL].

Possibly, there will be a season 4. This show never gets a proper ending each season. This yet again implies there will be a season 4. Think of this as my prediction. Anyway.

So, the whale is all better, but Verde is beginning to disappear/revert back to his old form. But the heroes use their Hero Crystals to block out the sound and hear Verde out. He just wanted to grant Aria’s wish and whatnot. After the talk, he reverts back into his true disciple kind of like what happened in Kekkaishi a long time ago.

So, after everything is okay, our heroes leave on a Fire Dragon, but before that... 

...Gaul x Aria. <3

No kiss! D: She says she loves all of them, etc, etc, we might see her again in season 4, if it happens. Oh, and my waifu was happy everything was resolved without violence/fighting.

Also, our heroes are getting ready to go home. They’re all packed (except Nanami), and all say goodbye and that they’ll be back again. Cou makes friends with Shinku and once Nanami is all ready, our heroes go home, say bye to all their friends. 

Rebecca says a monologue about the other world being their second home.

The credits show how each world is holding up. Working/playing, whatever

Kinda want to watch Dog Days this weekend if I have time

Only 13 episodes for the first season. That's about one afternoon of watching.

So I just saw the latest Dog Days episode, and...

Rebecca's transformation scene is about the most uncomfortable magical girl transformation I've ever seen.

I'll admit I don't watch too many magical girl shows but come on, that amounted to a tentacle-hentai scene.

Bad VA jokes that only I would get

So I'm watching this cute little anime called Dog Days.  I'm watching it because it has a character that visually resembles this one character from a fan-fiction I am writing.  You've never heard of her because I'm pretty sure nobody knows she exists besides me at this point.

BUT ANYWAYS

So I'm liking the anime, it's cute and adorable and I'm a man with low standards.  And I'm watching it and at one point I go, "Damn the main character sounds familiar."  Later I'm watching it and I go, "Oh this guy is named Loran... And sounds familiar, wouldn't it be funny if he was Loran from Turn A gundam?"  And another character looks like the Main character from Elfen lied, pink hair and animal ears and all.  This is totally a kiddie anime by comparison but I chuckled.

So after finishing episode 3 I decided to go to ANN and check out the VA list.  I click through a couple of guys until I got to the main character.  "hmm, who is this guy, he sounds like Japanese banager links from gundam unicorn...  Whut, this dude was setsuna f seiei?"  And suddenly i couldn't un-hear it.  One day he will say that he is an abstract concept and I will be totally ok with it.  And giggle to death.

After I got over that I went to the guy named Loran, "Imagine if this guy was Loran, ahahahahahaa"  Since I knew about setsu-bro I wasn't beyond having this happen.  Looking at his credit list, "OHMYGAWD DUDE WAS SHU MOTHERFUCKING SHIRIKAWA, EVIL BASTARD, NO TRUST POINTS."  Except I was kidding because who doesn't like 'lol so randumb XD'.  So I  keep going flashing through the series names, "Turn A gundam?  Who was-OFUCK GYM GINGHAM"  It's funny cause Gym was the bad guy from Turn A gundam and Loran was the good guy from Turn a Gundam.  And now Gym is Loran, get it?  It's funny, It's goddamn hilarious even.  I also now am assured that this particular character has to be evil.  He also has credits for Zechs Merquise's VA from gundam wing.  Which brings in a whole other Meta joke where Setsuna is fighting 2 gundam villains and 1 gundam hero all at once.  And Shu mother fucking Shirikawa, but that's just unfair.

And about the pink hair chick that looked almost exactly like the Elfen lied MC.  She actually was in elfen lied as some expendable chick.  There's no real joke there admittedly.

Clearly I must be a wizard to think that this is funny in any way.

Dog Days, Season 3 Episode 11.

And yet, the show moves.

Okay, so, this episode was indeed pretty heavy. For Dog Days, anyway. But I think the plot finally figured itself out. Everything is pretty much over now, face it, this is the end until the end next week.

Anyway, our heroes are going to go get Mihorie and they explain the situation. They have to sing to the whale to make it better. Milhorie understands and will put on the star festival. 

Ahh, finally, something notable happened. The thing I was most afraid of was this show just being nothing with anthro ecchi, but it dispersed over time. 

Okay, so. Now here it comes. Verde is the reason the whale is sick. We’re shown a long flashback of what happened to prove this.

Okay, so Aria wanted to go up to the surface. She was always watching the people of the surface. However, she can’t go up there, as she was appointed songstress. She then meets a sea person (who is rather small) named Verde. His size was of course, noted. 

He knew that Aria wanted to go up to the surface and promised to grant her wish, she even said she’d take him with her. So, Verde, who wanted to grant her wish, transformed into some kind of demon and created these sickness demons inside the whale. Even worse, kind of like the Little Mermaid, he stole Aria’s voice. This is not what Aria wanted.

This is not what I wanted.

Anyway, because of this, everyone got sick and Aria lost her memory when she was blown away. She doesn’t remember anything except for her name and the sickness demons.

Wow. :(

While we’re at it, they keep trying to kill the demons, and the kids all learn about the struggle Verde went through about the surface people. They proceed to think of him as a little kid, which I think may as well be true, tbh.

Anyway, as time runs out for the show, everyone returns. Milhorie sings the sickness out of the demon. While the others battle. Also, Peggy grew into a cool as fuck pegasus.

At last the plot is resolved now!

Because next week, they’re all going home.
