At the end of 2019, I packed my whole life into a suitcase, placed my dog in a crate and boarded a plane to never come back.

I had lived in Dubai for almost 28 years. I was born there, it was home.

But the Dubai I knew, the Dubai I loved...that was long gone.

It was time for a new adventure. So, 28 years and 12 hours later I touched down in England to start a new life - a new adventure (and let me tell you, what adventure it has been).

I had so many expectations of life before moving here, of what it was going to be like to set up my life in the UK. I had dreams of big city life in Bristol, walking to the office, grabbing a cup of coffee from a local cafe, ducking out of the rain and the cold, going for a beer after work at the pub down the road.

It's now 2021 and absolutely none of that has happened.

Instead, I've spent the last 16 months sitting in my house, perched at the little desk in my bedroom, trying desperately to hang on to tedious relationships I built in the 2 short months I spent working with my colleagues in person.

I live in a small, sleepy seaside town, miles away from a coffee shop and life isn't anything like I pictured.

I feel like I've been sat on pause since the start of the pandemic, I've not met anyone (aside from our amazing neighbours), I've not found a routine or my favourite restaurant, I barely know my way around.

But things are starting to change. It feels different this time like there's light at the end of the tunnel. Like life can finally start again.

"Our Family's Alright - That's All That Matters!"

Friday 21st May 2021

Hello again everyone! Hope you're all doing well! Today I'll be reviewing Friday's episode, before I do however I know I missed Thursday's episode so I'm going to give you a quick debrief on what happened during that episode. Needless to say that everyone was more than excited when they learnt that Sonia's Dad, Terry, had arrived on the Square! It seemed that he had made quite an impression on Tiffany specifically, she seemed more excited than anyone. But I do have to mention the iconic quote she said to Dotty, after over a decade since she last quoted it, Tiffany told Dotty where to go ... "You're NFI - Not Flippin' Invited!" ... absolutely iconic!! However, after Terry making a good impression with Sonia's family, Sonia couldn't help the feeling that it was too little too late for her Dad to be walking back into her life. As politely as she could, she informed Terry that a simple drink isn't going to make up for long lost years without her Dad. Understanding her completely, Terry left informing her that Jack has his number if she ever wanted to call him and reach out to him to possibly rekindle their relationship. Sonia watched as Terry turned away and walked off into the night.

Meanwhile, Martin makes a fool of himself and lashes out Zack after believing Lily's lies about Ruby cheating on him with Zack. After punching Zack in front of Sharon and Ruby in the club, Ruby puts him straight that his daughter is lying to him and how it hurts that he believed his child without even talking to Ruby first. Is Martin now in the dog house? What is he going to do make it up to Ruby? But also, how are they going to deal with Lily and her lies?!

Elsewhere Mick was preparing himself for court, Frankie still feeling the pressure of her Mum asking her to give a character reference for her. Although I can understand how Frankie must be feeling like piggy in the middle at the moment, she wants to be there for Mick, but I don't know, even though she loves her Mum, she can't stand by her after what she's learnt.

Anyway focusing on Friday's episode, I'm going to begin with Sonia and Dotty. I guess it's fair to say Dotty and Sonia have always had a rocky relationship, they've never really seen eye-to-eye. Does Dotty really get a thrill out of slagging off Sonia? I feel there is more to it really and in this particular episode, I think Dotty gives Sonia some food for thought.

After having a bit of a row at home, Dotty leaves and heads to the club, but Sonia follows to check if she's alright, it here that Dotty admits to her that she'd give anything to have one last chat with her Dad, how can she stand there and watch willingly as Sonia just let's her Dad walk out of her life. At the beginning of the episode, Sonia claims that she's surprised that Tiffany believed everything that Terry had said about his life, in Sonia's eyes - why should she believe this man who, even if he is her Dad biologically, he is a bit of a stranger to her. She knows nothing about him and he knows very little about her, as far as she was concerned, it's too little too late to make up for lost time.

But I think after Dotty admitting that she's give anything to be with her Dad again, Sonia takes these words on board. I think she probably will reach out to her Dad and slowly begin to build a relationship with him. What do you guys think? I'm not 100% sure whether Terry is going to be a permanent role in the soap, but it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the Square, what friendships he'll make and whether we'll find out anything about is past?

Elsewhere, Sharon has informed her brother that regardless of him not actually sleeping with Ruby, he's not as innocent as he makes out, as he has been continuously flirting with the married woman, purposefully winding Martin up and instructs him to apologise and take him for a pint. But, Ruby seems less than impressed with her husband's actions as we see he has been sleeping on the sofa. As he wakes, Ruby walks in informing him that she's been up since the early hours of the morning looking after his children, almost kind of giving them guilty treatment. She mentions how she was looking forward to him coming home from Dubai, how much she had done for his children whilst he was away and he throws it back in her face by listening to Lily's lies. It's fair to say that Ruby is deeply hurt and informs Martin that he has to confront his daughter and stop her from saying all these horrible lies, otherwise Lily or Ruby herself will be moving out.

Realising the seriousness of his mistake, he gives his word to Ruby and eventually gets his chance to speak to Lily. I believe that Lily is still holding a grudge against Ruby for putting her Mum in prison for something she didn't do, so feels she needs to get her own back in some way. Is she really trying to split her Dad and Ruby up to maybe teach Ruby a lesson? However, even though she's a kid and she's missing her Mum, what she is doing is really out of order, making up lies about Ruby just to get back at her.

Martin confronts his daughter and informs her that she needs to stop the lies and give Ruby a break. But it's not just the lies she's been saying, even cutting up her deceased Mum's wedding dress. Even though Lily claims she didn't know it was Ruby's Mum's, she still shouldn't have done it. This is an interesting one though, who's side are you on? Ruby's or Lily's? As Martin instructs his daughter to be more respectful to his wife, Lily leaves the house without saying a single word, although it's clear she's not very happy about it. Later we see her sat at the allotments calling her Nan, asking whether she can move back in with her.

Of course Jean isn't going to see her Granddaughter out on the streets, but I feel that maybe Jean will start to ask questions about why Lily is wanting to return to live with her. Actually speaking of Jean, I happened to notice that maybe two or three times in this episode, she complained of stomach pains - although she used the excuse of having prunes for breakfast and it has made her slightly windy. But something is telling me it could be more than that. Could it be the cancer? I have to be honest, I am still stunned to realise that no one in her family knows about her cancer and only Ruby is aware about how terminal she is. If Jean takes a turn for the worse, surely Ruby is going to have to inform them about what she knows? I swear though if EastEnders come to the decision of killing Jean off, I will be deeply upset!!! (Let's hope it won't come to that!)

Now of course the main focus of the episode was Mick and his family. Today was the day that they had been dreading, but yet they had all been waiting for. It was the day that Mick would finally face Katy in court. Even though he is twitching his leg with nerves, he's looking as ready as he'll ever be as the cars pull up outside the Vic, ready to take him and the family to court.

As everyone gathers in court, Frankie is trying to tell both Mick and the rest of the family something, whatever it is it seems really important, but she's never given the opportunity to say what she needs to say. As The Carter family make their way into the court, you can't help but feel for Mick as he comes face-to-face with Katy, the person who abused him as a child, one last time. Frankie is sat beside her Dad as she tries one last try to attempt to tell him something really important, but unfortunately the moment is taken from her a second time.

As statements are read out in the court, it becomes clear what Frankie was so desperately trying to tell her Dad and his family. It turns out that Frankie did give her a Mum a character reference, regardless of what she did in her past, Frankie cannot deny that she was a good Mum to her. Katy looks over to her daughter with a smile as the Carter family look over to Frankie in shock. Frankie almost looks as if she feels she's betrayed her Dad's side of the family, but Mick does the most honest and decent a thing a Dad could. He takes a firm hold of Frankie's hand, informing her that he completely understands her giving her statement, at the end of the day, Katy is her Mum and she gave her a happy childhood, regardless of her crimes.

As the court goes into recess, The Carter's confront Frankie about her decision, informing her that she could've jeopardised the length of sentence that Katy could receive for her crimes. Shirley more so than anyone is voicing her disappointment in Frankie, but Frankie defends herself. Do they really have wanted her to be a victim of Katy's also? Frankie cannot deny that her Mum gave her a good childhood, and Mick interrupts the discussion claiming that Frankie did the right thing and he completely understands and supports his decision.

During this whole interaction, Nancy makes herself scarce and gets some fresh air. But as the court is called in to hear the final statement and the verdict, Mick goes to search for Nancy as the rest of the family enter the courtroom. As he makes his way outside, he's faced with the terrifying scene of Nancy having a vicious epileptic fit in the middle of the road. Mick acts fast and stays with his daughter, putting his jacket under her head so she doesn't get any lasting brain damage from bashing her head against the gravel. Devastatingly, the rest of the Carter family have no idea what's happening as they're waiting for Mick to return to give his victim statement.

But Mick knows he cannot leave his vulnerable daughter in this state and desperately calls an ambulance. Linda then informs the judge to read out Mick's statement on his behalf. Now I have to say how this moment played out was really powerful, the words used in Mick's statement were so moving that it brought both Linda and Shirley to tears. But hearing these words about how much he was made to feel embarrassed and how it affected his anxiety and relationships with his family, he claims that without Linda and the strength of his family he wouldn't have been able to carry on. While hearing these words, Mick stays with his Nancy until she slowly comes round from her seizure.

Eventually Nancy is helped by paramedics and she slowly comes round from her horrific seizure. Together they walk back into the courtroom, just in time to hear the sentence Katy is given. A total of 10 years in prison! Now I have to be honest, how this episode ended was absolutely perfect, touching and powerful. As the Carter's leave the court and step out into the fresh air, Mick grabs each daughter, Frankie and Nancy, from both sides and hold them ever so tightly. The air is blue and bright, the birds are singing and Mick takes huge breath in. I absolutely LOVE that Julia's Theme was used for this ending, after a horrendous couple of months that Mick has had to endure, it's all over. Katy has been put away for her crimes of child sexual abuse and Mick can now sleep easy knowing justice has been done.

Together as a family, Mick, Linda, Shirley, Nancy and Frankie leave the court together. A untied front showing full well that nothing could ever bring The Carter Family down! With Katy now behind bars, the can carry on with their lives as a family. An absolutely beautiful and moving ending to a deeply devastating storyline! I can't applaud everyone enough for their performance in this storyline - Danny Dyer, Kellie Bright, Rose Ayling-Ellis, Linda Henry and Simone Lahbib! They've all been absolutely incredible!

born  and  raised  in  malibu ,  angus  grew  up  with  strict ,  ambitious  parents . his  father  a  neurosurgeon ,  and  mother  an  architect .  it  was  very  early  on  that  they  instilled  their  high  expectations  for  the  boy ,  teaching  him  the  importance  of  discipline  and  responsibility .  their  intentions  were  good  of  course ,  as  every  parent  wants  to  raise  their  child  right ,  though  angus  wasn’t  truly  equipped .  in  actuality  the  couple  came  off  as  overbearing  and  their  high  expectations  deemed  unreachable  in  the  male’s  eyes .  as  he  grew  older ,  the  feeling  grew  stronger  that  he  would  never  quite  live  up  to  their  standards –  97%  on  his  mathematics  test ??  well ,  why  wasn’t  it  100% ??

family  time  was  scarce  in  the  donnelley  household .  with  both  parents  working  full  time  and  lots  of  time  spent  working  extra  hours ,  angus  became  independent  quickly .  his  mother  was  flying  to  dubai  for  work  quite  frequently ,  gone  weeks  at  a  time .  some  weeks  if  felt  like  his  father  LIVED  in  the  hospital .  but  he  was  saving  lives ,  and  how  could  angus  be  so  SELFISH  to  want  him  at  home .  it  meant  he  grew  extremely  close  to  his  two  younger  sisters ,  often  opting  to  spending  the  weekends  entertaining  them  rather  then  out  at  parties .  the  family  had  a  nanny  to  help ,  so  he  didn’t  HAVE  to ,  but  his  sisters  always  came  first  to  him  and  being  the  eldest  he  has  a  serious  case  of  protective  older  brother  syndrome .

after  graduating  high  school ,  he  somehow  managed  to  convince  his  parents  to  allow  him  to  head  abroad  for  the  year .  with  promises  of  coming  back  home  and  hunkering  down  into  his  pre med  degree .  the  couple  really  wanted  angus  to  head  straight  into  uni ,  but  with  tons  of  begging ,  they  sent  him  off ,  bank  account  full .  the  year  was  spent  travelling  and  honestly ,  just  having  FUN –  a  few  months  over  in  paris ,  london ,  italy ,  greece …  some  places  he’d  been  before  with  his  family ,  but  not  in  the  way  he  got  to  experience  them  now .  angus  continued  his  travels  to  japan ,  korea ,  new  zealand ,  australia …  never  staying  in  one  place  for  too  long .  but  the  fun  had  to  come  to  an  end .

as  promised ,  angus  attended  beaumont  upon  returning  back  to  the  states  studying neurosciences ,  getting  his  pre med  classes  under  his  belt .  he  is  a  legacy  kid --  his  father  having  been  apart  of  delta  psi  beta  when  he  attended  the  university .  becoming  a  doctor  has  never  quite  been  his  dream ,  so  much  as  it  was  his  parents .  while  the  male  continues  his  undergraduate  degree ,  he  wonders  if  he  should  change  his  path ,  though  that’s  not  a  conversation  he  can  have  with  his  parents .  angus  has  always  wanted  to  leave  an  impact on  others ,  in  what  way ,  well he’s  never  been  sure .

it  could  be  sometimes  annoying ,  because  angus  can’t  really  ‘ pick  sides ’ ,  this  boy  can  see  the  validity  in  all  sides  ( in  most  cases ) .  he’s  definitely  loyal  to  you ,  but  he’ll  be  that  friend  that  brings  up  the  defence  just  to  make  you  really  think .  because  of  this  he  can  be  either  really  good  with  advice …  or  really  bad ,  there’s  no  in  between .  he’ll  hit  you  with  a  million  different  solutions ,  confident  that  every  one  is  good  … “ it  just  depends  what  vibe  you  wanna  go  for ”

he  doesn’t  LIKE  to  party  a  ton ,  like …  he’s  just  not  into  big  crowds  really ?  but  if  he  tells  you  he  doesn’t  want  to  go  out ,  it’s  VERY  EASY  to  change  his  mind ,  because  he  has  Big  FOMO .  but  he’s  22  yanno  and  he’s  in  a  big  party  frat  so ,  catch  him  getting  drunk  and  probably  high  every  weekend ,  off  to  the  side  with  a  few  less  people ,  or  in  the  smoking  pit  at  the  clubs  fawning  over  ur  outfit  or  smth .  after  he’ll  drag  your  ass  to  some  hole  in  the  wall  restaurant  and  order  way  too  much  shit .

he’s  lowkey  v  self  destructive .  it’s  something  he  doesn’t  even  realize  he’s  doing  most  of  the  time ,  but  he’s  genuinely  surprised  when  a  friend  sticks  around .  the  ones  that  do  stick ,  have  definitely  had  to  deal  with  him  fucking  about  and  being  overdramatic  in  an  attempt  to  protect  himself .  idk  why  this  is  so  important  to  me ,  but  he  FOR  SURE  made  a  few  tik toks  w  that  whole …. “ if  i  was  a  worm …  would  you  still  love  me ? ”  AND  if  you  told  him  no ,  would  be  pissed  for  days .

Hi, I've got something I need to say. I'm going to say this now, and I'm going to get it off my chest and if any of you disagree with me that's fine but I'm going to say this anyway.

YouTube has gone to s***. I enjoy watching it I enjoy using it for some reason it's fun to shoot is Formosa do the reasons the biggest of which being children content can't have commenting board hello not all the people watching children's content or children number 1 and number 2 why the hell does it matter if a child leave a comment and if a kid leave the comment but deciding the fact that YouTube isn't for children in the first damn place. Also, side note Google this is directed at you instead of having YouTube kids develop an entirely different website that uses the YouTube API that's directed it kid don't have YouTube kid make YouTube kids something different by Google kids or Google junior or some other form of a YouTube type service that's only for children and don't put YouTube name on it your stupidity has caused issues. And I can give you a couple of other reasons it's really stupid to do, for example YouTube does not let there be mini player active for children's content any longer so say I'm watching an episode of DuckTales or Tangled or say I'm watching a video where someone is talking about Tangled and they show clips from Tangled well they're going to assume it's children's content and then let's say I don't want to watch that video but I'm searching for something else to watch right after well I can't do both because it's children's content do you see the stupid what danger is a child in by having mini player available so they can sit through and watch YouTube videos at once or try to find multiple videos and watch at the same time What is the thing what's the danger in letting a Child leave comment on a video now I can get behind there's a child in the video we don't want comments when there are children in videos because they could be full of pedophile commenters AKA Maps or people trying to bully the child listen to responsibility to deal with it. YouTube It's the parents responsibility to protect your child from the Internet by the internet job Hopper shouldn't exist poplin needs to get removed we shouldn't be protecting our children on the internet because that's the parents job nothing internet job.

It's the parents job to keep their child safe on mine it's not the internet provider or the websites job to do this they shouldn't be doing this they shouldn't have to do this now, is it something like Nickelodeon or Nick jr. Yes by all means they should be because they're directed at children mainly but something like YouTube they shouldn't have to they shouldn't have to comply because they weren't designed for children in the beginning know where they ever aimed at children YouTube kids was just their way to try and have a safe place for the children's content that gets uploaded like Ryan's world because they think children can't watch YouTube in a regular manner cuz oh no little tiny two-year-old Jimmy but accidentally clicked a video about Fallout okay so well that's not for children I admit that and yes I'm on the way to that could be potentially scarring but I'm also not going to sit here and say that that would happen because let's look at it this way if someone is watching Ryan's World Julia's likely to get certain types of videos. And side note if you're watching Ryan's world you have no life LOL just kidding but seriously he's content is not good at all I tried to watch it before it's going to

Now, there's some other things to keep in mind to I get that YouTube is trying to protect their asses because the FTC is involved and I don't like the children can't have protein today because heaven forbid that collect information from a six-year-old without the parents consent think that's such a problem and you have a problem because yes their information gets taken and no I'm no expert but I do know a little bit about computers and from what I do know they only do things like take cookies which tracks the website you go to that's not bad it's not like YouTube is sitting there and pushing a button that says let's find out little Jimmy's age place of birth date of birth time of birth social security number place of schooling they're not doing all of that and if they were I mean you were Dubai a lot sooner. And the reason I have such a problem with all of this is because it ruined a perfectly good YouTubers like Audrey Lynn Vlogs who I just discovered she's a lot like fathering autism and they're in the same general category so I'm going to whip them together for a minute no Abby is nowhere near the same thing as autumn but we're going to lump them together because they're in the same general category of disabled parent vlogging but we're going to lump them together because they're in the same general category of parent of disabled child blogging about their experiences. I'm well aware that there's a potential for Matt's out there I'm not saying that map should be given freedom but I'm saying is I as a viewer should be allowed to talk to the YouTubers I watch be a comment even if they were children in their videos because there is some good content creators out there that I want to be able to leave comments on but I can't because they use other forms of social media I do not use or will not use like Snapchat Instagram excetera I don't like Snapchat I think it's stupid I don't like Instagram Instagram isn't stupid I just don't like it because I don't like the way it's set up, and I refuse to use Facebook.

And also, I don't use Twitter anymore because Twitter is garbage. Now, and the other thing, I want to point this out as well there are other channels out there that don't specifically directed at children but they get called child channels is simply because of the content exhibit a hextian he does Dobby paints now, his dogs are not for children yes he uses Barbie, Ever After High, Monster High and some other Barbie asked dolls but his stuff is not directed at children at all no hok watches videos yes but they're not directed at children exhibit B MyFroggyStuff no you should think about her Channel he's in a bit of a gray-haired because she did originally start out as a crafting Channel designed to Showcase craft that a child could technically do with some adult supervision like how to make a Barbie bed or dollhouse etc etc adult supervision or potentially on their own so I could see what she need to get considered a child's Channel because her content is kind of Grey area skewed more towards children Exhibit C we have someone like nerdecrafter she could be considered a child Channel because she covers arts and crafts and My Little Pony and then of course we have more on the other end like people like say Bailey J he is very good, she's an artist and if you haven't seen or content you need to. But, under the actual thing at hand she could be considered a child's channel to technically but see she doesn't do children's content we automatically assume the things that are cute on YouTube or for children when in reality through things that are cute but don't you children I'm going to name two examples hear Happy Tree Friends anything bendy and the ink machine because in some instances bendy and Company can look very cute and adorable and also are you Gregory horror show which again to some people could be considered cute and childish.

Three NHS managers cost a health board £1.4million by using the names of U2 members to commit fraud, a court has heard. 

Mark Evill, 42, Robert Howells, 65, and Michael Cope, 44, are accused of helping secure payments to a bogus construction firm set up by Evill and named after his pet dog, George Morgan. Project manager Evill, of Shirenewton, Chepstow, allegedly used the real names of U2 band members to correspond with his health board colleagues. 

As a result, some of the construction work on the children’s wing of Brecon Memorial Hospital, Bronllys Hospital and Welshpool Hospital was not carried out, Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court heard. A surveyor then claimed the completed work had ‘major deficiencies’, concluding that the cost of rectifying the necessary areas would be over £1.4million. 

Prosecuting, Christopher Rees, said: ‘Mr Evill set up George Morgan Ltd to divert dishonest health board contracts to himself. ‘He created more than one fictitious character, Paul Hewson and David Evans, to correspond with members of health board. ‘They are the real names of Bono and the Edge from U2, a band he listens to, used to further his fraud. It’s a mark of the blatant and provocative dishonesty.’

Evill is alleged to have used this money to go on Dubai holidays, as well as buying designer watches, houses in Wales and expensive cars and motorbikes.

Something like “NHS boss called Mark Evill defrauds £700k from a children's hospital" would be a bit on the nose if it was satire but that's just the world we live in now I guess

hello folks, it me, back again, to give you a bit of insight into my girl. down bellow will be some facts on facts on facts, and once again please smack that like button and i will teleport into your dms. before i forget here is her pinterest board.

naeva is eva’s god sister. their parents met in university and were pretty much inseparable since, so eva and naeva grew up together despite the fact that naeva was just a smidge bit older. naeva’s parents are also well known writers, but they’re also both therapists, which means, you guessed it folks, naeva has pretty much spent her whole life under a microscope. was psychoanalyzed at the dinner table yk what i mean. 

naeva was also her parents only child so all their energy and overbearing tendencies were focused on her. naeva couldn’t so much as breath without one of the two trying to comment on it, they would go through her things as she got older, ask borderline invasive questions about her personal life. there was really no boundaries, and it was a stifling environment but it was really all she knew.

growing up naeva and eva were two peas in a pod. they did everything together. dance classes, halloween, back to school shopping, dress up. they had more play dates together than they could count, but when they played house eva was always the beautiful wife and mother and naeva was always the family dog yk? they were never truly equal, and naeva knew it, her parents knew it. eva was the leader, and naeva was the follower, although she never quite understood how she fell into that position. 

later in life naeva would escape a lot from her parents, and she tended to do that with eva. they would take road trips to france or germany or honestly anywhere that wasn’t their home. the two were pretty much a package deal, and they told each other everything growing up. or well, naeva told eva everything. she had no way of knowing what eva was hiding from her. 

on these trips they would get pretty Wildt. they were basically unsupervised so they would do whatever they wanted, so drinking partying, seducing boys (and girls) all that fun stuff. they’d tell a lot of lies, pretend to be people they weren’t, con dumb older men and tourists just for shits and giggles. you know. just girly things. 

eva honestly wasn’t always the nicest to naeva either? she was kind of the karen to eva’s regina yk, like always kind of living in her shadow, kind of blindly and naively following her. naeva loved her like a sister though so she tried to look passed eva’s nasty comments or sharp demeanor, tried to ignore it or downplay it because she knew she had good heart underneath. it worked for years. until it didn’t. 

when naeva was sixteen her parents got a book deal and they had a big party for it. naeva didn’t know what the book was about, but her parents hadn’t written something together in about two decades so she understood the fanfare. but she was completely blindsided when she found out the novel was about her. 

it was basically a novel surrounding parenting her, psychoanalyzing her behavior and her upbringing, like naeva was nothing but an experiment. naeva was horrified and made a big scene at the party forbidding her parents from publishing it, but they refused. told her that this wasn’t about her, and that she was just being dramatic, and besides the book was already being printed so there was nothing she could do about it. naeva never felt so violated in her life. 

after the book was published naeva was completely humiliated. it skyrocketed in success, even being put on the book list for some universities for developmental psychology classes. naeva tried to stay inside and stay away from anybody who knew the last name ‘li aakster’ and could connect this whole thing to her. during that time she leaned on eva, who supported her during the event. 

however later naeva ended up overhearing eva ripping her apart to her friends, discussing the novel and fact checking it with the personal things she knew about naeva. naeva confronted her and this really put a rift in their relationship, because eva really showed no remorse.

understandably after this naeva’s relationship with both eva and her parents was Rocky as Hell. the of the closest people to her had completely broken her trust, and so she made their lives as miserable as she could until it got to the point that they had to send her away to boarding school (location flexible. could have been in the states 👀)   . she stayed there for two years before returning home after graduation, still hurt and angry but colder with time. 

it’s because of their rocky past that she picked eva’s name. she regrets it now. at the time with how angry and hurt and betrayed she still felt, she just wanted eva to feel the same humiliation she did. but she didn’t want her to be hurt, or scared, or whatever the hell the person who runs this app is doing to her. she hasn’t told a soul that she picked her, but god does she wish she could take it back.

naeva originally got into the hendrix psychology program, but that reminded her too much of her parents so she changed it. for a second she was in the photography program, but again she ended up changing it. now she’s in archaeology and she already wants to change it tbh. thinking of switching to paleontology, because at the moment she’s toying with the idea of being a museum curator.

has a lot of issues with her identity? she trailed behind eva for so long, and then her parents exploited her identity for money, and now she just isn’t really sure who she is as a person, hence changing her major every thirty seconds. also very insecure deep down but that’s a whole other thing. very self critical.

Heather was born in London, England to an American Father and a British Mother. She is the oldest of three girls. Casey was born only a short ten months after she was and then Tallulah was born nine years later. Their family was extremely wealthy, her mother was a former Pediatric Doctor whilst her father was a Hedge Fund Manager. However, their mother retired from her position to become a housewife, after losing their youngest sibling when they were only six months old to Pneumonia. 

Heather was fifteen when this occurred. Her mother was supposed to be taking the time off to spend time with her and her siblings, but it didn’t quite work out that way. Both she and Casey noticed that she was a shell of her former self and Heather found that she often had to look after Tallulah as her mother wasn’t capable. 

At seventeen, Casey asked to go away to boarding school in America and as much as Heather didn’t want to leave Tallulah, she couldn’t face being at home without Casey, so she went too. It was an all-girls school, but that didn’t stop her from making friends with the rival boy’s school. There were plenty of skype meetings with her parents where she had been caught out of bed after hours with a boy. But her outstanding grades always meant that her punishments were lenient. 

Her time at boarding school only lasted a year before earning her place at Brown University studying Biology. Four years later she moved to Stanford to attend Medical school. She had been lured there by the idea of the warm weather. Her end goal was to become a plastic surgeon but as she neared graduation, she discovered Non-Surgical Aesthetics and decided that was going to be her route instead. Now nearly four years later, she is the owner of an international clinic, with offices several offices in the states, along with Dubai and the UK. 

During Heather’s second year of university, she received a phone call that scarred her to this day. Her mother had taken her youngest sibling Tallulah on what was supposed to be, an innocent holiday. However, twelve hours after the ‘holiday’ began, their mother drove straight over the Dover cliffs, killing them both on impact. It had been a whole year since she had returned home with Casey and it killed her, would she have noticed that something was wrong if she had visited more often, would Tallulah still be here? Heather tried her best to speak to Casey to be there for her. But she wasn’t stupid, she knew how much she looked like their Mother. Their dead mother who had killed their sister. To this day, they have not seen each other since the funeral. Nearly eleven years had passed by and as much as Heather wanted to get into contact with her sister, it had yet to happen. 

When she first arrived in America, Heather threw herself into the social aspects of boarding school. Sports teams, clubs and the darker unofficial club of meeting up with the boy's school for parties. What she hadn’t expected was to meet somebody who would change her life forever. Alexander. They started dating swiftly into her time there and managed to keep their relationship going throughout her whole time at school. Both attending Brown University and then while his time at school finished, he followed her to California for her to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. Once they arrived in California, it didn’t take long for Alex to propose and for Heather to immediately say yes. 

Even though at this point, Heather hadn’t seen Casey for three years, the first thing she did was reach out and ask her to be her maid of honour. But the call remained unanswered and unreturned. Although, they agreed that they wouldn’t actually marry until after she graduated and they were more settled. Three years later, and seven years into their relationship, they owned a home together, two dogs and were finally beginning to plan their wedding, the date set for a month after her graduation date. But only a month after booking the venue, there was a knock at the door, it was the police. They asked if they could come in, that they had some news. She welcomed them inside, but she didn’t need them to, she knew. Something had happened to Alex. To this day, she doesn’t know exactly what they told her, but she knew enough. Her Fiance had died in a car accident, a drunk driver. Alex’s family had been amazing through it all, allowed her to live with them because she couldn’t face being in their home without him. The funeral came and went, at Twenty-five, she hadn’t expected to lose another important person from her life. 

Less than a year, she finished Med school and moved to New York. California had too many painful memories. To this day, she still wears her engagement ring.
