I have long wanted to do something about Lacrima. There aren't many characters out there that could represent the victis of r"pe, so she has a special place in my heart. This was originally going to be static art, but I thought a rough, incomprehensible, moving image would suit the theme much better. I felt very uncomfortable drawing this, but I'm glad I did it.

I had to draw over every single image to fix errors, because AI upscaling isn't perfect and turns small details (like fingers and noses and lighting) into soup, when faced with heavily compressed JPEGs from 2008. My hand hurts.

I actually jumped on the whole Krosmoz bandwagon kinda late since I wasn't allowed to play a lot of online video games as a kid, but GOD, do I fucking love Wakfu. The whole universe is so rich, and it's such a brilliant example of a show maturing along with its viewers and being the best possible version of itself for every new season. And God, the ARTISTRY they put into the big fights, even back when they had such limited means of animation... 100% best French animated series ever made. Period.

Nox and Qilby are also two of my favorite villains in animation as a whole, ToT and Ankama are absolutely brilliant at creating empathic villains whose stories really resonate with you, while still reminding you of the unforgiveable acts they've committed. I'm also a HUGE Qilby whore I would do anything for that wet dog, alien war criminal, psychopathic mama's boy, dramatic pillow princess of a man look at him

I don't think I'll ever get over the duality of Yumalia.

On the one hand, you have Yugo and Amalia being nothing but sweet, and tender, and loving, and affectionate, and supportive, and hopelessly in love with each other when they're together. To the point they're having sex and giving each other heart eyes like this:

And on the other hand, the second one of them is threatened in any way, shape, or form, the other will not hesitate to commit war crimes or start some political conflict on their behalf. I mean...

(As always, I don't have the screenshots for it, but let's not forget how in chapter 5 Yugo fully intended to try and use his position as King of the Eliatropes to help Amalia keep the throne and kick the Osamodas out. My boy was 100% down with starting some shit for his Queen's sake).

The incomplete Goultard compendium (WAKFU MMO) - PART 1: equippables

Inspired by some posts I saw discussing Goultard, I wanted to compile stuff that references him so it's more accesible to non-players.

This is far from perfect, and I may have missed some, but here is what I could find!

Equipment

When it comes to equipment items, they can be both taken as references, or/and items that actually have implications. For example, the Goultard's Wig items references the series (although the saying as it is could have already been coined way before), but Goultard's Headgear can be taken as implying that Wakfu era people would still recognize it as Goultard's.

As a relic item, the Goultard Headgear gives you an aura an an exclusive title (Fearless Warrior). This one depicts red music notes curiously enough.

Here are the auras for Goultard's wig (left), and Dark Vlad's epaulettes (right) special thanks to @kallyico for modelling these auras, as I don't have them :3

Dark Vlad continues to capture the imagination of people, now a figure of myth. In fact, he gets his own themed attraction at the Trool Fair.

Costumes

It is of note that the female model version of this Goultard costume is sligthly modified to cover the chest
