The boy who all the girls pay for: A Prompt

There's a regular at this restaurant who only pays for his meal about 50% of the time. Girls usually saw him and asked to pay for his meal. He always leaves a more sizable tip when when happens, presumably because he can afford to do so. Worker can see that he's attractive, but doesn't quite understand how or why it happens. And moreover, why he only ever comes in alone, not with one of the girls who's hit on him.

Eventually Worker finds out that he's like... a notoriously good person. Volunteers to walk dogs and mow lawns, volunteers, often scales the town if a pet has gone missing, offers kids stickers especially if they seem down, and all of that on top of him being a total smoke show.

Well, why hasn't he gone out with a girl yet? Brought her here? Well, he pretty much only comes here for one reason. The cute boy behind the counter (or bar?) who he doesn't want to bother while he's working.

- Ellie would definitely do photography, i mean we SAW photos of dina in her art room and around the house, the photograph of her, Jesse, and dina, i think she'd LOVE to do photography! just as a fun hobby. she definitely has one of those small 60 dollar grainy cameras that she carries around, snapping pictures of anything

-speaking of photos, she definitely would snap pictures of you! she would hang them up around her room, next to her bed or in a small little frame. Like, you standing in the kitchen, sleeping, if you play an instrument, studying, kissing, anything.

-again, topic of wilderness, she probably just grabs random animals and bugs. Like those people who are genuinely NOT scared of the everglades, shes just casually picking up a snake and grinning like she won a TROPHY.

-this might b a reach but, since shes an artistic person, she would probably be super good at makeup. not that she wears it as often, and if she does its just black eyeshadow, maybe blush and her brows. but theres definitely been a few times shes done your makeup and its turned out BETTER then you can even do it.

- her artistic talent has definitely lead to her doing super cute projects, gifts, and activities. Her gifts are 80 percent of the time hand made. she could definitely make some really nice rings, necklaces, everything out of random stones. she would come across something on pinterest and save it into some folder which is filled with things.

-now if shes working i feel like her jobs could really vary. definitely not a barista because she doesn't like coffee, she prefers tea for sure, but she's definitely in something more artistic or musically involved. Like a record shop, guitar center, book store, maybe a pottery shop where you can MAKE your own pottery, or a jewelry store.

- her room would be a mess. jewelry everywhere, clothes tossed around, random shit tapped to her wall, anything you can think of its THERE.

- a million people have said it before but.. she shit posts like, crazy. She might have a main account for her instagram and she either shit posts to her main story or close friends. OR she has a private spam account, mainly used for stirring shit up with people.

-shes a tea girl! like sweet tea, iced tea, chamomile, green tea, chai, anything TEA wise. she owns it. she probably has some dumb cup specifically for tea, like cups from Spencer's.

- i feel like shes a collector, like bottle caps, pennies, gems, or guitars (if she has that money, but she's definitely broke.)

OH MY GOD I'M GLAD YOU ASKED HOLLUP [PULLS UP MY DAD MIKE/SON GREG HC LIST]

greg absolutely secretly looks up to mike's skill set as an artist. he loves to watch him doodle, mike is the type who'd feel conscious when someone watches him draw but,,, he grew to not mind and got use to greg watchin him draw. he can tell the kid is observing and absorbing what he can learn from simply watching him do art.

^^^ with that in mind, Mike often does catch Greg drawing too, when the lil guy is very proud of his work, he shows it off to him. Mike is very encouraging that he keeps up at it cuz he genuinely thinks the kid is doing great.

^^^ As i established in the previous ask, Greg loves to give art gifts to ppl he cares about. He does the same for Mike, especially in special occasions like father's day, or his birthday and whatnot. Mike displays them either in his room or by the fridge, he is very proud of his son's creative efforts!

Mike is not the best cook out there, you can hardly entrust the kitchen to him without him setting it on fire but he tries his best to do a decent job at making pulled pork recipes ever since he found out it's Greg's favorite.

Greg loves to collect all sorts of cute and silly plushies, anytime he spots any when they stroll across a shop or smth he's so ready to persuade Mike to let em buy it for him. It doesnt take a lot of effort to really, all he has to do is stare up at mike with puppy eyes and Mike knows the drill, he sighs and then painfully pulls out his wallet every time. it's worth it tho, it's for the kid

It's always like a russian roulette who wakes up earlier than who in the morning. Sometimes its Mike, sometimes its Greg. Mike usually preps breakfast, well...as best as he could perform the basics. He's shown the ropes to Greg at some point cuz even tho Greg's a kid, Mike acknowledges that he's capable. Greg's a fast learner, if he does a specific task so often enough, he gets good at it eventually. Its a lil funny tho cuz Greg almost does breakfast better than Mike at times. Greg has some fun making Mike's morning coffee for him, he appreciates it a lot. He thinks it's really sweet, he always affectionately ruffle Greg's morning bed hair as a gesture of thanks.

They have a swear jar in the household. No further elaboration needed i think.

Mike drives a motorcycle bike that used to be owned by his mom. Every time he tells Greg he's headin off somewhere for a quick errand, the lil guy insist he wanna come along solely cuz he wanna ride the bike as well. He enjoys being on the bike, he thinks its hella cool and he feels like flyin, he has to always promise Mike he'll behave just so he lets him come too.

They absolutely love movie nights as a hang out time. They both love watching movies, they just have a good time checkin out any film that peaks their interest. Having fun lil discussion bout it during or after watching and all that. Mike is amused when Greg has a lot to say, he just lets the lil guy share his thoughts bout it.

Whenever Mike gets a call that Greg got into another fight at school and it's often cuz other kid bullies got in Greg's nerve [especially if it's them insulting his guardian to his face] or cuz he tried to defend other kids from being bullied, Mike is so ready to throw hands with said kid bully's parents to defend Greg back. Theyre always on each other's side first and foremost.

When one of them catch the other still up in the middle of the night, the instant thought they have is "cant sleep?" presumably cuz the other most likely had another nightmare. It has happened so frequent, they just came to understand that tryin to pass the time doin other things is often the other best thing they can do to doze back to sleep. They had done plenty of things to pass the time at moments like it : be it watch another movie, draw together, just stargaze outside by the front porch etc etc. They appreciate the other for keepin them company. They've grown to try makin sure they never feel so alone anymore the best they can, cuz they arent anymore when they have each other.

I somehow found this one very interesting, I mean- I wouldnt be a shock if it's miku already. Since somehow it's boopkins, and the girl he'd been the one to date are something from fictional stuffs. I never guessed miku but I guessed that it was some anime related.

A non streamer, you’d just be some rando. You work in a store that he visits regularly, maybe a coffee shop or bookshop or small hole-in-the-wall restaurant. He comes over often, asks you for your recommendations, and then tells you about his favorites. But he’d be so awkward about it.

You would also have to be someone who he would hee semi-regularly, he is chronically unable to approach people he thinks are attractive.

I see him as someone who is very playfully mean to those around him, however during the start of the relationship he’d not know how far he can push you, so he just doesn’t. You can tell that he’s holding back on something tho, it’s not until you first say something rudish to him that he starts to relax about it.

I can see him being very touchy as a boyfriend. Like you no longer have me space, its our space. Arms around your shoulders when he’s standing behind you, laying on you when you’re on the phone, or his legs on your lap. He just likes to be touching you.

This does not change if he can manage to get you on stream. He’ll have you sit next to him and he’ll knock into your shoulder, tap your kneecap, or squeeze your hand off camera. Most of the time it’s to make sure that you’re okay, just return the in kind and he’ll continue on with the stream, if you don’t he’ll figure out an excuse to off camera.

Loves to bully you. Will absolutely pinch and poke at you while you are just trying to watch a movie. Will pull on your hair when casually walking past you. He will get stuck in bits after being on camera, and he does sometimes forgets that you are not A) a internet personality and B) currently on stream. He does feel really bad about it afterwards, grovles in it for a while, even if you tell him that its fine and you understand.

He’s a big acts of service guy. Like anytime he goes away and sees you he’s bringing you something. He’ll act like it’s whatever; sometimes it’s your favorite snack, other times it’s flowers, occasionally it’ll be a piece of jewelry, but it’s always something. And it never fails to melt your heart. OR if you mention that you’re hungry he’ll get food to you. If your not in the same building as him it’ll be an uber eats, but if you are he’ll go and make you something.

He would let you wear any of his clothes, but also have you seen what he picks out to wear??? No, the thing that you do is buy him stuff to wear. He’ll poke fun of you for doing it, but he actually appreciates it. Would actually bring it up on stream/The Yard, “My girlfriend bought this for me, I think she thinks i dress poorly.” and everyone around him, chat included, tell him he does.

Also stream appearances. Baling streams, prove that you both can only bake one thing. Or Challange Streams, that’s the one thing that could get you out of your head while on stream, just proving that you're better than him at random games or that you have a faster typing speed then him.

I strongly believe that he is extremely exhausted when he ends the stream. Like ready to pass out at any momnet. Automatic heads to his room, where he hopefully will be able to nap with you. Unfortunately he doesnt always make it, he has a bad habit of falling asleep out in the hallway, or the kitchen when getting a glass of water, or the chair in his room. He’s always fine after, especially if you’re in his eyesight when he wakes up.

He has a lot of opinions on things, and he like to talk to you about them. Like he’ll talk and talk and talk about things to you if you are willing to listen, and he is always surprised when you do.

More on that point he will run all of the mogal mails by you. He is actually a one take jake when it comes to filming them, but he likes to sit down in front of you while you're eating or making a smoothie or something and just ask if he can run something past you. He lets you ask questions and criticizes it. He says it helps him get the understanding of what the average person would think of the content of the video.

He’d be so down to adopt a pet with you. Aren't all of the pets in that house qt’s??? It does not even matter what kind of pet you want. You want a dog, cool. A cat, He’s so about that. A snake? Do you know how many views he could milk that for in stream.A hedgehog? That’s now his precious baby.

In conclusion, our annoying theater kid English major boyfriend is a fiend but we love him.

i dont really care for human AUs of mega man characters but a zerox-centric college AU is actually so funny to me

-X graduates at the top of his class is therefore able to shave one year off at college, so hes put in the sophomore year dorms and his roommate is zero

-zero only went to college cause his stupid dad WAS a professor at university, but he got shitcanned halfway through his first term cause wily publicly cursed zero out for not paying attention in class

-light ended up being wilys replacement, to which neither X nor zero knew about until one day during parents weekend they both arrive to their boys dorm room at the same time. and yes they are bitter exs just like in the real games

-zero is a trustfund baby i said what i said. he kind of does not gaf about college at all but he is a dedicated D1 athlete and does work on the campus coffee shop (its the only place he will actually end up doing his homework because he functions best in a loud environment)

-X is duel-majoring because light has subconsciously put a lot of pressure on him especially after his oldest sibling blues dropped out very early on. rock never went to college because seeing what blues went through kind of freaked him out. roll plans on attending one day but is currently working to save up money first and also she just kind of doesnt feel like it yet. X is the worlds first youngest sibling to have eldest daughter syndrome

-despite being in the same graduating class, zero is still technically older, so X looks up to him as an upperclassmen. zero does feel an obligation to show him the ropes so he does look after him for a good while during X's first semester but he soon realizes firsthand just how capable he is

-neither of them ironically share vices, since they both make the respective other anxious. X is a wake and bake kind of guy, zero is a Drinks black coffee an hour before midnight person

-X only recently tried coffee again because zero made him a lavender latte specifically for him. even tho it was decaf, X still felt like his heart was about to jump out of his throat which he felt SO bad about since he knew zero specifically made it for him. and this happened within the first week of the term so they hadnt known each other that well, so X was very very embarrassed knowing zero was just watching him shake like a little leaf. though zero found it all rather amusing

-zero never smoked before because bass was a chronic smoker and it kind of turned him off since they didnt really get along for a while (theyre on much better terms now, they soulbond over wily causing them grief these days). X offers to roll for zero on the very first weekend cause in his mind X is like: college sophomore, how to get on good terms? offer free weed. Unfortunately a few hits in zero is white-knuckling his kneecaps and doing everything in his power not to throw up. he learned the hard way then and there that he is too paranoid for that shit, and while X felt so incredibly guilty for a while, he did feel it let them both become closer faster since zero did need to let his guard down to let X take care of him that evening

-X goes to every game zero is in (i really like the idea of the sport zero plays being hockey but idk if theres D1 hockey teams in college Lol) despite knowing nothing about the sport rules

-X finds out vile is actually on the same sports team as zero which is SO awkward for him since they had VERY briefly dated before X realized just how incompatible they were. whenever vile puts two and two together about who X's roommate is, let it be known he will be scheming........

-X joins the improv club because he feels he struggles a lot with making decisions on the fly, but to his surprise hes very great at adapting to other people! zero, who kind of used to think it was a rather silly club, ends up sitting in on some of their performances and finds it quite endearing

-also the first bonding moment X and zero have is when zero notices X hang up a photo of rush on their corkboard and is like: "oh shit i like your dog. i have one too. (shows photo of treble) i mean technically hes my older brothers but hes the only one that cares to make that distinction." X responds immediately full of newfound excitement: "no way, i have an older brother too! well, two of them. and an older sister.... but since i was the last one to leave the house, i always felt like i was taking care of them whenever theyd come back." IMMEDIATE soul bonding over family dynamics ensue

i was mulling over your grocery post since last nite because even tho it's all of us, it feels like it's just me that's buggin.

i've been unemployed for almost 3 years (while still applying but either rejected or ghosted) so i'm living off what my family is able to provide.

i haven't properly grocery shop in so long and i'm pretty much surviving on coffee and instant noodles and now i pretty much have a low appetite or irritable that i cant even do my schoolwork (i'm behind on so many deadlines and the term ends in a couple weeks).

i know it's the system and corporate greed, but i constantly feel shame that i can't afford ANYTHING. like nothing is affordable right now. this morning i planned to at least try to get some basics and healthy stuff, but the total was waaay too much i just went home crying

I'm very sad to hear that friend. I know how depressing being stuck in a state of unemployment is. hell I still feel that way, because even though the work I do is easy it's not fulfilling or advancing me in any way I don't make nearly enough to support myself. at least when I was unemployed I got snap benefits and I was eating good lol. now I can't qualify for whatever reason. also doesnt help that everything is too damn expensive and they refuse to raise pay. here's to the both us that we may find the will and way to keep on going 🍻

A+++!!! I LOVE AUs, I love bending characters and characterization and seeing how much you can push while still making them feel true. also i LOVE how more mundane AUs like modern/college/etc often have the space to really dig into a character's Issues and Angst

coffee shop AUs in general: C.... I'm just Not a coffee person (taste issues + caffeine doesnt give me energy so coffee just isn't part of my life) and a lot of coffee shop AUs really lean into coffee culture in a way I'm pretty meh about. Modern AU's *featuring* a character working at a coffee shop are fantastic tho!!

Lexa moved into a new house and doesn't know why she keeps waking up with her underwear wet and ruined. She sets up a camera to record what happens while she sleeps. She's alarmed to find a ghostly figure manifesting out of thin air and touching her as she sleeps

The house is old, granted. Lexa should have figured some sort of supernatural occurrence was taking place when she first bought it but she brushed off any sounds and misplaced objects as her forgetting or an old house settling.

But the nightmares seem weirdly realistic.

Nightmares? Dreams? Sex nightmares?

All Lexa knows is that she feels this immense sense of dread as she sleeps and yet an intense sense of pleasure which has been resulting in her awaking up with her underwear completely ruined by her own horniness.

A little concerned her singleness is catching up to her as she sleeps and she has found the x-rated version of sleep walking - sleep masturbating - she sets up a small camera in her bedroom hoping its nothing other than her having some very realistic, if weird, sex dreams.

Its at about three or so am that things take a turn.

In the footage, the room seems... still. Eery. As if something is about to happen and Lexa finds herself transfixed on the screen. From the corner, what looks almost like a shadow seems to move. Lexa's heart drops. Her her from last night stays in bed, blissfully ignorant of the thing that approaches her. As its fully in the picture the figure gains a form, so very human and vivid. Translucent almost, the movements too quick and yet so life like.

It reaches for Lexa's legs and she watches as her sleeping self hums in contentment, opening her kegs fully for the ghastly apparition. Lexa is unable to look away now, heart beating. The figure moves its head, its very clear head between Lexa's opened legs and Lexa can only stare as the ghost touches her clothed cunt, massasing it with very clear fingers.

Lexa feels completely frozen as she watches the ghost of what seems to be a young woman all but please her, what terrifies her the most if that her sleeping self seems to know her presence, welcome it even.

Not, thats not whats more terrifying. What is is the fact the image is making Lexa feel herself getting wet as she watches herself being touched by some a fucking ghost.

Her fingers reach for her shorts as she sits, staring at her phone, lets it run through the fabric already ruined-

No. She doesnt feel particularly scared, despite the vwry clear evidence of her having a rather touchy ghost. If anything its almost... nice, to have company. Lexa has never felt scared in this house. The moment she set foot in it, she felt nothing but the overwhelming desire to have it, despite its age and various fixer upper characteristics.

Unable to fall asleep, Lexa stares at the clock. 3 am. Oh.

From the corner, a shadow. In front of her, translucent but oh so real, a woman. Ghastly but beautiful.

Lexa feels the cold touch of her see through hand on her thigh.

Lexa opens her legs without a fight. She sighs, content as she allows the pretty face of a dead blonde to disappear between them.

I’m thinking especially around then bc it looks like he drew his jacket from then too. Which leads me to think he’s secretly somehow watching dude….I mean how does he know what p2 dude looks like? And how did he end up in the area he is in? He’s def following his crush around. The only other way I could think he knows how current dude looks is if like it’s just common knowledge somehow. Makoto is a huge kikuo fan!!! also speaking of his music taste, i imagine that if he ever finds n25s music he will also love it and be a fan :3 he mostly listens to weird/obscure/sad[ish?] stuff, but one day he overheard someone talk about mmj and decided to check them out, cause he never rlly knew/was into an idol group before and wanted to see what those are about. he fell in love IMMEDIATELY. he felt a comforting warmth in his chest when he listened to them and became a huge fan of their music!!

it took him a while to actually get the hang of the idol thing, but after being very stupid [/aff] about it on his blog people explained it to him HSHDHDIDH. he decided haruka is his fave simply cause she seemed the most put together and thats the kind of people he admires, but as he got deeper into the fandom(i guess u can call it that??) and learnt more about the idols he started sharing the same respect for all of them! haruka is still his favourite tho tee hee.

speaking of haruka! he actually met her AFTER he became a fan by chance and it was the most awkward thing ever. he was waiting for his sister in front of the girls school and saw her walking by, she noticed him and complimented his earring and he just. gave it to her. his mind bluescreened and so it seemed like the most reasonable reaction to an idol complimenting you on something.is to just. give it to them???? he did mention hes a fan tho, so she accepted the gift sjjdjdhskdhfb you can imagine his face when he saw minori run over to haruka after she walked away from that awkward interaction of theirs. he was SHOCKED.

oh yeah ive decided also that he has a part-time job at a music store his family owns! his grandma is the owner so he helps out there a lot, and is also how he met shiho!! she would come around there quite often so they ended up chatting a lot and eventually became friends :3 it took a while tho since theyre both not that talkative, but eventually bonded over their taste in music amd instruments. they often send eachother song recommendations :3

his work at the shop also led him to be close with an! Ken would often get equipment from them and sometimes an would go with him or get stuff by herself, either buying new stuff or sending something for repairs and whatnot. they knew eachother for a few years, and when he learned she makes her own music he was very excited for her and would often watch her perform, later cheering her on when she was part of vbs [which is how he got to know kohane, akito and toya]. he admires how hard working and responsible she is and sees her and ken as family :3

AND SPEAKING OF VBS- he found himself getting along with toya very quickly, since theyre similar in many ways! they enjoy hanging out at weekend garage and just peacefully drinking tea/coffee in comfortable silence, which others find. a bit odd. they have mutual respect for eachother and find the others presence calming.

when it comes to akito tho... they dont exactly get along. makoto is very chill, but something about akito and his temper kinda bugs him.. he sees him as somewhat responsible but way too impulsive and competitive, hes still nice and doesnt comment on those things because akito seems to be a great friend to vbs and is definitely not a horrible person or anything. basically not annoying enough to get worked up about it but annoying enough to just Not Enjoy His Presence All That Much. not like akito likes makoto much either, he kinda sees makoto as a guy that has no backbone and finds him quite boring. however they have something of a mutual respect of The Grind. if you will.

wow im rlly just going on and on here okay last one to finish off the vbs thing!!! kohane!! makoto doesnt spend much time with her but an talks about her a lot, and from her words shes an amazing friend and partner, so he has a lot of respect for her!! whoever makes an this happy will get his admiration and respect, not to mention he sees how hard kohane works too and thinks thats amazing :3
