Ohh I just had another AU-Idea for the headcanon ask :) How about Azula being a combustionbender like P'Li or Combustion-Man. Don't know if it could be Azutara or Sokkla :D

Hello, @subterraneanwatcher !!! (Thanks for the second ask!!😁)

1. When Azula is born, she isn’t born as the same strong bender we know her as in canon. She’s a good bender, but not a prodigy. For the most part, she grows up pretty much the same alongside Zuko but the Fire Sages start to notice something about her. She’s constantly complaining of headaches, says her head feels stuffy and she once sneezed a small blast came from her forehead. The Fire Sages discover what’s going on and, one day, while Ursa and Ozai are away, the sages take a five year old Azula and tattoo the third eye onto her forehead. Upon returning, Ursa is instantly greeted by her crying child who now has a third eye on her forehead and says the Fire Sages did it. Needless to say, even with their explanation, Ozai and Ursa aren’t happy. However, the truth is now out there: Azula is a combustion bender.

2. Azula covers her third eye constantly in school because she doesn’t want anyone to know. Her father says it's a rare talent but Azula can't help but feel like a freak. No one else in the royal family has a third eye and no one in her school does either. The one time she didn't wear her covering out into town, some kids made fun of her and called her a monster. Azula meets Mai and Ty Lee when she's six and accidentally bumps into them causing her to lose her covering. While she's trying to shield her eye, Ty Lee hands her back her covering and says her eye looks cool. (Ty Lee: You look amazing! That eye is so cool! Can you do stuff with it? Does it blink? Does it need sunglasses? Mai: Ty, she can only answer so many questions. Ty Lee: Right. Sorry....but I still want to know and then I have so many more!! *Happy jumping*) Azula doesn't wear her covering anymore in front of them after that (she never wore it at home anyways but now she can take it off at lunch and stuff)

3. Since there aren't any real combustion benders that are known enough to teach Azula, she learns on her own. She usually goes away from the palace (sometimes with Ty Lee, Mai and Zuko) and trains herself. On day, while she and Ty Lee are away from the city and training. Azula accidentally fires an incredibly big blast that neither of them were expecting. Ty Lee was too close to the blast and is caught up in it. When Azula finds Ty Lee, the girl is hardly breathing and can't really move. Azula gets her to a healer but it's too late. In grief, anger and heartbreak, Azula runs away. She runs as far as she can possibly go: into the Earth Kingdom city of Omashu to be precise. Of course covering her third eye. (I'd like to add on that Azula is 9 when she runs away)

4. Years later, Azula encounters the Avatar and his team in Omashu but doesn't interact with them much. The Avatar being back doesn't mean that much to Azula, who doesn't really care about the war one way or another. It's when the FN overtakes the city and Team Avatar returns that she starts to take notice. She sees them fight Fire Nation soldiers for Bumi and, in a split second decision, decides to help, sending a blast at the soldiers. (Aang: THAT WAS AWESOME! I'm Aang! What's your name! Azula: Azula. Aang: Wow! Are you a combustion bender!? I've read about that but I've never seen it! That's so cool! Katara: Aang. I think you're freaking her out a little. Azula: No. It's okay. I just...No one's been that excited about my third eye in a long, long time). Azula agrees to go with the Gaang and help eventually teach Aang firebending.

5. While they make their way through the EK, desert, and Ba Sing Se, Azula and Katara start to grow closer and closer. Katara tells Azula about the South Pole and what their group has been doing so far and Azula tells her about the Fire Nation (she might have forgotten to mention the whole princess element though). While in Ba Sing Se, after Long Feng wins, the man reveals to the Gaang that Azula is the missing princess of the Fire Nation. Azula doesn't really care what anyone else thinks except for Katara, who's mostly just pissed Azula didn't tell her. Aang doesn't die in this but the Gaang does flee to Hakoda's ships where there is clear tensions between Azula and Katara. Katara finally goes to talk to Azula and tells her that she's angry she didn't think she deserved to know but before she can finish Azula asks her to leave if she's going to leave (Azula: I...I can't lose another person in some long drawn out way, so if you want me to go or you want to leave please just go. Katara, pushing Azula's face towards hers: I don't want to go and I don't want you to go. I want you to tell me the truth. Azula: I...Okay) That's the night Azula and Katara officially get together.

I found it quite interesting when Viva referred brozone as that family. Will it play a significant part in ur au lore? And will branch begin to take notice how the trolls respond or interact with his big brothers?

Or how viva and peppy observe how poppy introduces herself to branch?

Or how branch's brothers actually take notice of how he's is "immune" to their gifts?

Or how exactly does Au Lore truly begin?

I'm so happy I make one chapter just for fun I didn't expect to get a question so I'm so happy you're asking all this and don't worry I ramble too

And let's just say there's always going to be lore hidden somewhere within each of these chapters you just got to find it, some of them will be a bit more lore heavy than others but I will always try my hardest to put small clues into each chapter when it comes to the lore

Anyway here are the answers to some of these questions

When it comes to Viva referring to Branch's family as "that family" that is going to be important because of the dynamic between her and Poppy vs branch and his brothers, (specifically for her Arc) She finds their relationship very sweet because she fails to notice the toxicity of her relationship with Poppy and the relationship between the brozone Bros. (I mean why would she notice it she's friends with Clay after all they have very similar mindsets)

Branch doesn't notice how people react to his brothers just yet because we're still in his childhood phase but he will notice it as he gets older and reminisces about the past

Ask for how trolls interact with the brozone Bros let's just say I have a few fun ideas for how brozone uses their power on the tribe before they leave (cuz currently they're still inside the troll tree)

Viva and Pepe will be there when Poppy finally gets a chance to talk to branch but that doesn't mean that she won't feel uncomfortable with having her family watching them (one cares about Branch, the other one obsessively thinks he's adorable, and Poppy just wants a friend)

As for Branch being immune to viva's power that's actually a point in the story that I want to dive into a little more, because Poppy and Viva have very similar powers however the way that they use them will be different thanks to branches influence. Viva's power is specifically to Make Trolls Happy which can be a good thing but at the same time can be seen as a toxic trait similar to toxic positivity, Poppy's power on the other hand is a bit different but I'm going to keep it a secret for now

At first Brozone genuinely don't even realize when branch is being immune to their powers because their baby brother is so innocent and sweethearted how could they notice, it's only when other trolls Powers don't work on him do they realize something's up (on the other hand, trolls who are better at observing others like their grandma, Poppy, and Creek for example do notice something up with Branch whenever it comes to their powers they just choose not to say anything because it's not hurting anyone, and because of their own personal curiosity)

Here's a little bit of my own info dump

So when brozone does find out about branches little immunity to other powers at first they're shocked and genuinely don't believe Viva when she tells them at first but when it starts to affect their lives that's when they see this as a problem, but rather than blaming Viva for it they actually ask her how in the world did it happen did they trigger this, to figure out how they can work around it not realizing that they can't

Branch being immune to other people's powers isn't a superpower that he has (remember branch is the only one born without powers even those that negate other trolls Powers he doesn't have that), it's just Branch showing his true colors in his own way without even realizing it. I plan on explaining it in a future post and in the story

I plan on explaining viva's power a bit more in the story itself alongside the bro zone Powers and a few other characters who play an important role in Branch's story

Ask for King Pepe well he's not a terrible father I'm just going to make this clear now but he does have his moments of being not the best, for clarification when he tries his hardest to be a good dad he ends up failing one of his kingly duties but when he tries to be a good King he ends up failing as a father and unfortunately he can't seem to find a good work around and it's not exactly his fault I mean anyone would struggle to be a good dad and a good King in his position

I have Headcanons about blue jeans

and a barely-edited ramble that concerns the entire Clarke family ❤

First off, James is prejudiced against them because in his mind wearing jeans means you're either poor or a farmer (very common sentiment for certain types in his day). They are not banned in the Clarke household, but he will absolutely never wear a pair stemming as far back as when he got independent enough to start buying his own clothing.

Anthony has grown up with different influences than James did so he does not share the prejudice, and he has a pair of jeans. But because he generally takes his cues from his dad and has no strong opinions on what he wears, he almost never wears them unless he has to get dirty for some reason (nobody can stop me - we have no canon portrayal of Anthony in jeans 😁).

Dennis could not care less about anyone's hang-ups when looking cool is at stake, and wearing jeans is easy make-dad-grumpy points for Tanya, so ofc they do just as they please. Bonus that Tanya does that common thing prior to elasticized denim where you soak in a hot bath in your jeans to shrink mold them if you want them tight on you.

Now Anne rather likes to put her kids in jeans because they're practical and hardwearing etc etc, but the catch is that any bifurcated garment that passes through her washing machine will also hit her ironing board and have creases put in with no discrimination whether they're undershorts or, yes, blue jeans, with the one exception being fabric that has a pile like Anthony's corduroys because velvet and corduroy hate irons (sometimes you just come across such delightful little anecdotes from other people's families in the randomest places and they click so hard). She makes life way more difficult for herself doing this but she cannot be talked out of what she thinks is respectable, but creased jeans would be so exceedingly uncool, the horrors, so Dennis's jeans will definitely never ever see the inside of a washing machine no matter what.

And Megan is still in the stage of getting stuck wearing what Mom decides, including the occasional hand-me-down, because she's still growing and Anne doesn't want to have to replace worn out clothes before they're grown out of, and Megan's only canon daytime outfit is the family photo which reads as very basic and a little juvenile (although not unusually so in her era). I think she'll start looking around soon and her crafty tendencies will have her trying to embroider her jeans and inserting calico patches and stuff right before that trend kicks the bucket in a couple years.

Hi! Idk if the kwamies are just for fun or what, but I got the curage (and maybe it's fun) to list what my ideas (for my head"cannon" Miraculouses 😁)

Zebra - equalization, can turn things into their opposite

Llama - commitment, can shoot energy-spit and link the user to the target

Snail - syncronization, the user can sync with targets and control their moves, eithet making them mimic his movements or moving them like a hivemind, working to achive a goal. It also works backword, so othets can control the user's movements (this way it can learn techniques the other can do)

Hedgehog - so far, having pocket dimension to hide or trap othets, maybe change it later...

Pidgeon - generalization. The owner can make itself "unrecogniseable", meaning despite being a person in pidgeon costume, you can't recognise it, simply blends in (you only can spot them if you looking for something very-very specific about them)

Antelope - intention. If the user touches you with it's two horned stick you start to do whatever idea you currently head, even if it's crazy or unlikely to have any succes, the target starts it enthusiasticly

Rhino - potential. The user can "suck" the potential energy from things, making them living "object-magnet" atracting everything, even if it means an unpleasant crush... The user also can charge object with it, making them fly

Firefly - transition. Can become living energy, moving thing and even empovering machines. Literal force

Kangaroo - swich. Can swiching placement of object with limited range

Has no red panda (yet!)😅

Capybara - relaxation. The user simply can others feel good, whatever happening to them

Rattlesnake - avareness. Having bracelet with a campus like rattle-pointer which shows where a previously marked object is

Giraffe - exhaltion (stolen, since they modified the tiger to elation😁) choosing any ability, the user becomes the bes-best in it (like being humanly in the Guinise record book for it, and turn it up by Miraculous -holder standards)

Hippo - overprotection/motherly care (something along those line) can create a bubble where the target just sleeps and floats. This bubble saves the target very well, but not all-proof

Sloth - procrestination. Every time the target would like to do something, manipulates fate to do something (like, insted of taking Miraculous away, goes on for personal revenge (also gains litteral weight to arms and legs)

No racoon or beaver yet

Donkey - humblenes. With a whip, can make the target obey instractions of thr user and behave foolish

Coala - influence. Gives power to do whatever you wish, but limited very much how much support and love does the holder has from the sorrunding peaple...

I hope you like them or find some of them funny, there are many more, some of these even have "pairs" (won't grant wish, but opposite concepts, like LB and CN's), but I like these, hope you to, but I gladly reading your feedback on these as well 😁.

Ooh, so like a tracker I like that. They would spit on them and the spit would always be visible to the user. It could wear off over time, I really like this power.

My original thought for the racoon was that they can steal powers, like the butterfly now. But that was when the layers didn't exist. For the beaver, I like the power that @randypelow suggested, the holder pulls objects to make a dome (like a knock-off Shellter).

The donkey was one of the oldest kwamis I had, he was made with Inn and I¨m pretty sure he was the only one who had a power from the set xd. The concept was Adaptation (or versatility at first) and the holder could change the suits to fit the situation, basically like the power-ups. But then I gave that power to the octopus and then I removed it xd. What you suggested seems kinda tricky to me I would have to think about it more.

So like the canon eagle or just a big amount of confidence?

Hi, it's still me, I hope you're not getting sick of me already. This drama just left me with so many feelings (99% positive ones). I just read the post you linked earlier, all 29 pages, and it left me with lots of thoughts and I wanted to thank you, I wouldn't have found it on my own. I actually found myself agreeing with a lot of things in it and it made me feel a bit better, as well as your first answer as I said earlier, so thank you. I'm still not super happy, because I need a happy ending for my angst and I have a ridiculously strong negativity bias, but it has helped shift my pov a bit and I don't necessarily hate the ending anymore. I love the thought of him being a little snowy rosa god, which does make perfect sense, and maybe Zhu Yan will ascend with him after her 27 years are over. And maybe, just maybe, he can stay for good until those 27, or actually 26 since it's a year later, are done. If not, I hope he has a good time in the heavenly realm while waiting to return every year.

I'm glad to hear that the linked post and some of my thoughts made you feel a little bit better about the ending. 🙂 It's not easy to digest... but I'm there with you, the idea that Shi Ying is a snowy rosa immortal is a nice one, and I don't see why Zhu Yan shouldn't be able to ascend as well – she is an extraordinary cultivator after all – or that Shi Ying can't find a way to visit longer. Both of them achieved things that were unheared of, like surviving the Tribulations of Hell, succeeding in the Star Revival Blood Oath, or defeating the God of Destruction. Unless they give it a try, how could anyone say they can't achieve something they set their minds to?

But at any rate, I'm also looking forward to Xiao Zhan's next drama to air – which most likely will be Sunshine by my side – and that drama to have a happy ending, hopefully. I think after all the pain and tragedy in The Longest Promise, we all deserve to get a romance with a happy ending in Sunshine by my side. 😁

Definitely got closer to you as you grew up, like from the age of about five he became your bodyguard/buddy but before that, he just saw you as this small fragile thing that would break if he moved the wrong way. It wasn't until you'd come back inside from playing with a bloody knee from scraping the pavement saying how you hoped you'd get a 'cool scar like daddy's ones' did he realize you were your own little person now.

He'd teach you everything he could, how to defend yourself, football (soccer), anything and everything he could.

He'd be so gentle even after you'd grown up. He wants to shield you from the world, from the bad in it. 100% did everything he wished his father would have.

He'd be so overprotective for your whole life doesn't matter if your five or 25 he's still by your side being 'scary dog privilege' aka scaring anyone in your general field of view.

He'd never let you have boys over.

If he did let them study (BIG IF), he'd be there lurking around the living room (where he'd force you to stay). I'd be very surprised if any boy stayed longer than 20 minutes before backing out even if you were just friends Ghost is just too scary. If however, a boy can deal with the death glares and snarky mumbles, Simon didn't know whether to have slight respect or even more worried. I can imagine how if you got into trouble for standing up to some bullies (totally not based on a story I'm currently making👀) where the headmaster had to call Simon in it'd be hilarious. He goes all out on every holiday no matter what. Decorates the house, buys all the food for the holiday, dresses up every time, and forces you to join him.

He's the dad that is SO easy to talk to about absolutely anything. Even if it's something you're not allowed to do; if you had a crush and wanted him to drive you to the movies if you sneak out and have no ride home. If you called him, he doesn't care whether it's 6pm or 4am he's picking you up and getting food on the way home.

Personally, I think he's a very chill dad if he knows/ finds out you're doing something he told you not to, he just settles with the fact that you felt comfortable enough to tell him anyway. Tries to prioritize your relationship with him rather than being the 'normal' strict parent.

I imagine Dad!Gaz was a young single dad, who barely knew what he was doing.

He'd be the guy to call his mother/sister/grandmother 24/7 asking 'hey uh she rolled over in bed idfk if that means something!?!?' at like 3am

he'd be SO worried about you as a baby, something that fragile... he definitely had nightmares about dropping you or sum.

He 100% is the type to record EVERYTHING his little girl does, showing them to the team.

When she's a teenager, he definitely acts more like a best friend than a dad,

however, if you're having trouble at school with bullies or someone breaks your heart, it's scary how quick he can turn from bestie 🤪✌️ to Sergeant Kyle Gaz Garrick 👺💪.

Will support you on ANYTHING. That man is on your side, no doubt. Want to take ballet classes? he'll pay sweetie. Want to play a sport instead? He'll be there watching as much as he can. Failing classes? He's right next to you trying to help. Want to drop out? He'll help you look for a first job. Whatever it is, he's there with you<3

100% gave you some of his beer or bourbon to try when you were like 8 years old, 'aye you asked for some, didn't say it was gonna be good.'

According to my friend who was here with me, I was going to have so much fun.

It was the Slave to The Grind tour, and my friend Brenna and I had been rocking out to the whole album in her shitty volvo.

Before I knew it, we were at the venue. There were so many people, it was quite overwhelming, but I washed down the anxiety with excitement. I'm gonna see Scotti! I'm gonna see Rachel! I'm gonna see- Sebastian. I stop in my tracks. Brenna, not paying attention, walks right into me.

"What's wrong?" she asks.

"I've never been face to face to someone like them before," I say. "What if I pass out?"

"Y/n! That's not gonna happen," Brenna says, laughing.

We make our way to our spots. We had general admission tickets so were kind of close, but a few yards away from the barricade.

As the lights dimmed, I could feel my stomach churn.

The stage is black.

We hear drums start up, followed by a bassline and guitar. Suddenly, the lights turned on and we could see all the band members- all except one.

"Oh my god it's Rachel!" Brenna screams. She was a bigger fan of him than anyone else I'd ever seen.

Out of nowhere, we see Baz run out onto stage. Dressed in black leather pants and dark and a sheer, loose, tank top that wasn't doing a great job of covering him up- not that I minded that, though.

Brenna and I were screaming like a bunch of insane little girls, dancing around.

They sing their songs from the new album, as well as their hits, and I sang along to each one.

My god, was Baz gorgeous, even when his hair was tangled from whipping it in every direction, or when he was dripping with sweat. Brenna seemed too focused on Rachel, making eyes at him, and him smiling back. After playing "The Threat", Baz walks around the stage, going on about how their drive here, and how they were so pumped to be here. I feel someone trying to push past me.

"Hey can you move? I can't fuckin see!" says some middle-aged man from behind me. He reeked of alcohol and could barely stand.

"Dude, it's a concert- and her first one. Can you cut her some slack?" Brenna says to the guy.

"You don't have to be a fucking bitch!" he yells. This gets the attention of Scotti. He looks over to us- Baz, on the other stage is still talking. I hold Brenna's arm, nervously.

"Sir, I-" I begin.

The guy starts cursing and yelling causing a scene.

Rachel noticed too, and signal Baz over.

"Sir, please calm down," Brenna says.

"Shut the fuck up!" he yells. He takes his cup of beer and splashes it all over Brenna.

"Hey! Not cool!" I shout.

"You want some too, bitch?" he shuffle over to me, pushing me, knocking me to the ground.

"Hey!" I hear Baz yell.

I look up and see Baz and Scotti jump off the stage and push the push away the guy.

"Get the fuck outta here!" Sebastian shouts at the guy. Scotti and him hold the guy off until a security guard takes him away.

I suddenly feel a hand on my shoulder.

"You okay?" I look up to see Sebastian. WHAT THE FUCK???

I stand up confidently as if nothing happened.

"I'm fine," I say.

"You sure? You're bleeding," he says. I look down at my arm and see a long scrape, with blood slowly seeping from it. Sebastian takes a bandanna that was tied onto his belt and presses it carefully on my arm, setting my hand on it. I wince, but look into his eyes.

"Hold your hand like that, alright? My buddy's gonna take you and your friend backstage, okay?" he says.

WHAT? BACKSTAGE?

Brenna grabs my hand and we follow the usher. Someone from the first aid tent sits me down in a chair and helps me clean my arm.

Brenna and I watch the rest of the show from backstage and she can't help herself- she's dancing and jumping around while I'm getting a bandage wrapped around my arm.

Baz thanks the crowd for coming and the stage goes dark again.

A stagehand gives the band members waters as the come backstage.

Baz almost walks past us until he sees me in the chair.

"Hey, how's your arm?" he asks.

"Better. I appreciate it," I say.

"That guy was an asshole. Don't mention it," he says, smiles.

"What's your name?" He asks.

"Y/n," I reply.

"Well, y/n, our band and I was just gonna get to our hotel. Did you guys wanna come with?"  he asks us.

Brenna looks at me with a wild look in her eyes.

"We'd love to!" she blurts out. We make our way to the tour bus and I sit next to Baz and Brenna somehow gets next to Rachel.

"I'm a huge fan. Bass players deserve so much more credit," Brenna says to him.

"Awe thank you," he replies. "What are you doing later?" he asks her.

"You," she says, then gasps. "I mean hanging out with you guys," she says, correcting herself.

Rachel's face turns red and he scratches his head nervously.

I sit next to Baz and he holds my arm, making sure the bandages are secure.

"It's fine, really," I say to him.

He carefully sets my hand back down in my lap.

It's so hard not to check him out. Christ, he's a pretty blond with long, flowing hair, and had an insane voice and oh my god his tattoos-

"This one hurt getting done," he said, noticing me staring at his Youth Gone Wild tattoo.

He stretches his arm out for me to see it. I trace the letter with my finger and look up at him.

"I'd be so nervous to get a tattoo," I say. He smiles.

As the bus ride drags on, we sit quietly, exchanging small talk every now and then. I notice myself becoming tired and dozing off when I get a poke of the shoulder.

"We're at the hotel," Baz whispers.

Scotti and Snake are making fun of Rachel and Brenna who were out cold, her head resting on his shoulder.

The lights in the bus turn on and they wake up, and look at each other awkwardly as if nothing happened.

The band, Brenna and I get into the hotel and check in. Brenna pulls me aside.

"Rach wants to get a separate room with me!" She whispers excitedly.

"Dude! Yesss get it!" I say.

The band members and Brenna get into their rooms and I find mine. I change out of my clothes and decide to shower and change into sweats and a t shirt.

I get a knock on my door.

I open it, and it's Baz, also with damp hair and comfy clothes on.

"Hey, y/n, headbanger's ball is on... I was wondering if you'd wanna watch with me?" He asks, awkwardly.

Wow, for someone with so much stage confidence, he was a little dorky.

"Sure!" I say, letting him in.

We sit down on the bed and he turns on the tv.

He grabs a blanket from the hotel room closet and wraps it around me sweetly.

The room was still pretty cold from the ac, and I was shivering a bit.

"You cold?" He asks.

"Just a little," I say.

He takes the opportunity to wrap his arm around me, and I rest my head on his chest, hearing the soft beat of his heart.

Was this really happening right now?

An interview with Mötley Crüe comes on and Vince and Nikki are on the tv.

"Do you know them?" I ask. He nods.

"Vince is a cool dude, we've hung out a couple times. Nikki and Tommy are pretty crazy, and Mick's like a bit of a dad," he says, slightly laughing.

"That band gets around I bet," I say, eyes wide, awkwardly. Sebastian laughs.

"You have no idea. Their groupies are insane," he says.

"I'll be your crazy groupie," I tell him, laughing. He lets out a chuckle.

"I'd be okay with that," he says. I look up at him, into his eyes. God, was he beautiful.

He carefully tucks a strand of hair behind my ear, look back into my eyes.

He leans in, as do I, kissing his soft lips.

I couldn't believe this was happening. Was this even real?

He kisses back and eventually pulls away.

"You're so beautiful, y/n," he says, looking at me, intently.

After watching the rest of the show, we decide we should probably get some sleep. I fall asleep in Baz's arms, listening to his heartbeat yet again.

Thank you so much for asking! And for the concern! 😅 (I finally got my SI joint popped back into place today after five weeks of suffering so I just have to wait out the pain and muscle spasms...hopefully it stays in!)

Ah, Ronan Lynch. One of my favorite characters in literature.😉

favorite thing about them: I like that he’s funny and a drama queen at times and I adore him when he’s overly dramatic (although it’s probably tiresome irl). He definitely feels like the most fleshed-out character in the entire series with all the mentions of his past likes and interests as well as his complex personality (obviously he's the author’s pet😜). He puts on a front a lot, but getting the chapters of Dream Thieves from his pov was so illuminating after the first book. I love how he takes care of his friends like killing the wasp in The Raven Boys for Gansey or all the things he does for Adam, but also cheering up Blue when she’s suspended from school. He loves deeply and shows it by his actions. Also he loves animals and Chainsaw seems like such an extension of him, I love it. And I like handcat too.😂

least favorite thing about them: Sometimes he makes really dumb choices and says really dumb, hurtful things--but then I sigh and realize that I was a kid once too and so did I. He isn’t perfect by any means, and I like that in a character. Oh, there’s that mention in the first book that he’s peeing on the woods to mark his territory and how Gansey jokes about never actually seeing him pee inside which is...kinda disturbing.🤣 And if it turns out that he's not a real boy but is instead some kind of ancient magical entity trapped in a boy suit, I might riot. That would definitely be my least favorite thing. I won't rant here.😁

favorite line: Oh man, Ronan gets some of the best lines in the series. I was just thinking about the time he taunted Whelk about "what they say about a man with a big bag" and how he’d show him his if Whelk showed him his. Or some of the things he said about Mallory being old—that was a hoot. He’s such a smartass and I love that about him.

BrOTP: Ronan and Blue 5eva.

OTP: with Adam, ofc. But I also ship him with Gansey (all that "I know what my dog needs" stuff🥵.) Or the three of them together (no, I don’t know the meaning of One True Pairing). I just love a good love story! Or PWP!😏😈

nOTP: I’ve read really good fic shipping Ronan with just about everyone but I don’t ship him with Blue other than besties who can bitch with each other.

random headcanon: I think that Ronan would love education on his own time, just not in a structured environment like Aglionby or a university. I could see him taking random college classes just for fun because they sound interesting and then really enjoying them (like a world mythology course or comparative religion). Or hands-on technical classes like welding because playing with fire (kinda) is cool but he proves good at it. I think he would love to learn for his own sake, but never for a grade or a degree.

unpopular opinion: I honestly don’t know what the popular opinion is in fandom but I don’t see Opal as Ronan’s daughter. Like at all. I think they’re more like weird siblings because he’s “known” her most of his life as he dreamed and even though she’s frozen at that age, I don’t think it’s a fatherly connection. She’s more like a little sister/part of him/kind of a pet that needs attention and care given to her but not as a full-time father. I don’t think he or Adam are anywhere near ready for fatherhood.
