Anyway Simeon is my favorite guy ever and has been since the beginning I'm completely obsessed with him bc he's literally perfect tell my WHY on gods green earth he's always getting swept under the rug. Why does this man never get any attention and when he does why is he mischaracterized. He's got it all. He's tall and handsome in kind of an ethereal effeminate way, he's sweet and kind but not a pushover, he's one of the most tragic characters in the game, he's the perfect muse for a religious trauma arc, a corruption arc, a "the calm collected one who's always having a good time finally snaps and goes apeshit" arc, I mean come on. Come on. Every time I remember that his main sin is wrath despite him being SO chill and gentle on the outside I want to giggle a little bit. My beautiful princess with identity issues and slutty waist I'm so sorry everyone ignores you

Solomon though. I don't remember how I felt about him at first (other than lots of gender envy) but he wasn't a favorite until I came back to the fandom after being absent for ages. Like damn this man is everything. He's so complicated /pos that I cant even articulate why I love him so much but he's so well written (maybe one of the only ones who are written halfway decently) and SO tragic. The way he's so desperately in love with the mc and is forced to watch them go for literally anyone else but would still do anything for them and ask for nothing but a little bit of loyalty in return is scrumptious. Also the way immortality just kinda fucks you up after a while when you're only human. I've been very tempted to put him in a poly ship with my mc and Simeon bc he deserves it but for now he just has to watch from afar as the man he loves endlessly makes out with his best friend that he also kinda sorta has a little crush on bc making the gays suffer brings me copious amounts of joy. He's also the "always totally calm and collected no matter what but actually has really strong feelings that he works to keep in check" type like Simeon and I love that for him. One of the fics I'm reading has him once become so panicked over the MC's wellbeing that he completely loses his composure. Yelling, trembling, the whole nine yards and it was fucking glorious, I love seeing characters like him break.

Also I have to talk a little about Lucifer. He's not generally a favorite but I just think it's funny how I went from hating his guts bc I thought he was an asshole to to liking him a lot bc I have a weak spot for big brother characters. He loves his family so so so much and just has trouble showing it properly!! He's still an asshole and an uptight prick but I like that about him now. My mc had the same development with him as I did, he went from "I hate this motherfucker I wanna kill him also he kinda scares me" to "this is my big brother we are holding hands :)" in the span of like a year and a half and it's really funny. Lucifer thought he was finally getting a sensible housemate and friend but ended up getting another insufferable, headache indicung little brother figure instead. Also I kinda have a non canon ship between him and my MC's father bc the idea is SO funny but also a little cute bc they compliment each other real well. My mc would become homophobic so fast if he found out and thinking about it is incredibly entertaining

And its hard for me to say exactly? Im still very much into bsd but ive been distant with the fandom for a little while now BUT!! From what i remember what i usually didnt like was when people would make them so..two dimensional kinda?? BSD has pretty morally complicated characters and it was really weird when people would flatten sskk's personalities down to just some ship dynamic bc they are SOOO much more complicated than that. And thats just as INDIVIDUALS!! Even when considering them together theres a lot to think about when it comes down to their functionality, whether or not its viewed as romantic or platonic. And of course youre always gonna have those people who just water down any mlm ship into some weird dynamic that doesn't even fit the character's relationship which is just obviously Not Great.

And then as far as the characters individually i feel like a lot of people baby atsushi its really odd. Like that man has gone through some shit he is GROWNNN. I think its because hes the "softer" one out if the two or whatever. Which yeah he's nicer, its made clear akutagawa isn't a great person but atsushi isnt the exact opposite of akutagawa or the "softer" one. They're narrative foils of eachother, they mirror many of the other's character traits and atsushi has also done some Not Super Stellar shit. Do i think most of it was within reason? A little, considering what hes been through and exactly what he did. I do think he is the better person between the both of them - and i feel like thats also proven - but he is by NO means "innocent" or anything weird like that.

Then for akutagawa its really only that weird sa headcannon that originated from something he said in Beast (i can't remember exactly what, but i remember thinking it was NOT enough to warrant a hc like that. I remember that much). And as someone who's been through that a couple times i think its one thing if its some way to help someone cope or feel more seen (more specifically it isnt my business to cast judgement -unless it hurts them or someone else- and im no therapist), but i have seen people apply the headcannon simply because they say its "implied" or it "makes sense". Which, once again, as someone who's gone through that i think thats just. Weird. I dont like it. I personally try to stay away from any talk about it at all from anyone.

I also don't like when people make it seems like Atsushi has to save Akutagawa or something like hes some knight in shining moral armor. Its much more complicated than that and I could go further into this but it would be a whole rant about their characters and dynamic and itd go on FOREVER. So im just gonna say that akutagawa is also a grown man and knows well enough what hes doing with himself, even if its unhealthy (not that Atsushi is any better but lets be real no one is this show really is) and he wouldn't listen to atsushi if he didnt want to anyway. This part is really just personal opinion though, and i don't cast hard judgement on people who see them that way. Im not the type to care enough.

So yeah i guess it wasn't really hard to say at all LMFAO but otherwise i dont think ive had any other issues abt it?? I dont pay much attention to things i don't like anyway so im not easily bothered lol

⚧ - pronoun hc: she/they!! demigirl of my heart, in fact. 🏳️‍⚧️ - gender hc: I like to think she never really felt comfortable being entirely a girl, and she got a lot of acceptance in this, a lot of space to find out how she’d like to be called. she and sokka are she/they-he/they hostility. 🏳️‍🌈 - orientation hc: bisexual, I’m literally telling u….. sokka wasn’t the only one pining over yue, is all I’m gonna say JWHJWHWJGW. 🧡 - everyone I ship with this character: aang, suki, yue, and I think that’s it!! 📖 - au id like to see them in: not to um express obvious favouritism, but I’d like to see how she’d fit into the divorced zukkaverse. how she’s chief and how she can sense something’s wrong with her brother, and how perilous everything is. oh, I guess chief katara au? that’d be cool.

❤️‍🩹 - angsty hc: I like to think that book 3 was…. particularly stressful for her (although it would be for anyone but). just. blending in with the enemy, wearing their clothes and walking among them, I think she’d be very on edge, paranoid. of course these feelings never last long, but they’re nagging at the back of her mind all the same.  😋 - funny/stupid hc: probably talks shit with momo. constantly thinking about how she asked for a table for two when it was just the both of them, I’m gonna take that a step further and say she holds whole conversations with him.       🪞- appearance hc: probably has very pruny hands, you know, because of the waterbending. sokka jokes that she looks like she has old lady hands, and is forcibly thrown into the ice-bucket challenge.                                                    🏡 - domestic hc: keeps a VERY tidy living space. I haven’t been normal in at least a year. sometimes I mess with the idea of her and pingua being in a qpr at the same time, mostly for the jokes though, I just think they’re very close friends.  📖 - au id like to see them in: ooooh I got plany au. lately I’ve been thinking about working out her whole family situation (not the mob, her biological family) which is it’s own various projects. also I’ve got a toh au that I made some art/notes for a while back (and also this au I saw a while back that I thought was inch resting, I can’t remember it’s name, but michiru was muuuuuch younger and shirou essentially showed up to fights with a baby strapped to a carrier and I think putting marie in an au like that would be soooooo funny).  ❤️‍🩹 - angsty hc: thinking about how she won’t be missed, if how she vanished one day no one would notice a thing, thinking about how smug and prideful she is but how she could buy into that, that no one would bat an eye, how she’d go forgotten, how the city would keep on its way and leave her behind. I made a post about couches once as well standing emoji.  😋 - funny/stupid hc:  NOTORIOUS clothes thief, plain awful. michiru hasn’t had her baseball cap back in weeks, marie took it and occasionally flips it out her pocket and walks around with it on (much to michiru’s annoyance). of the three coats we see shirou with throughout the show, she has worn them all at least three times, they don’t get a say in it, collar too. “something’s different about you — where’s the collar, huh?” “i don’t need it. I’m done hiding who I am, this part of me that’s been dormant for so long. I’m finally …. free.” “…. can I have it?” “*hop pop “BWAH?!?!?!?” sound*.”  🪞- appearance hc: has a scar on her lip!! I haven’t worked out what it’s from yet, but it goes from her bottom lip and just reaches her chin. either she got it in a fight, or while running from someone and ate shit because of those heels, or it was an unintentional shirou-related incident (cough). I imagine she has a number of scars in fact, claw and tooth marks. city’s rough.  🏡 - domestic hc: I feel like at one point, in a barely further future, she lets that one chatty albatross guy, entirely new and enamoured by the city, stay with her. he doesn’t go to the co-op, thinks it would be “awkward” with shirou being there, somehow less awkward to ask to stay with this one person he saw after a massive battle. and she’s like “wait till you find out I’m that guy’s informant.” but I feel like they’d really gel, after the initial “can’t believe he doesn’t notice I’m a con-artist” and “I’m doing such a good job at pretending I don’t know she’s a con-artist.”  🗡 - badass hc: probably very good in a fight. come onnnn, she jumps out the way of a close-range crossbow bolt, she slashes boris like he’s warm butter, she literally says “oh yeah sure I can kill those guys, done it before, but can you IMAGINE the paperwork?” very nimble I imagine, she literally runs and fights in heels multiple times, she’s gotta be very light on her feet. probably tussled with shirou at one point, maybe even got out the situation with a sort-of-win. michiru thinks she’s so cool (till she demands payment).
