In my DR the tardis (mlady) had spat out a sonic screwdriver at me when I walked in much to everyone's confusion- my design is the one on the right and I tried sticking with the style of the og image

honestly, it’s 3:00am here, i have insomnia, so the only logical thing to do is rant in-depth about my doctor who dr.

if you haven’t watched doctor who, i’ll give a brief explanation of what it is (and i mean VERY brief): 900-year-old alien bloke with a blue box takes young women (who fancy him half the time) through space and time. also, the bloke turns into a lass at some point but then back into a bloke but this one’s really gay and got snowmanned in a bar? hey, i’m not judging.

right, so. when i met the doctor, it was april 2024. if you know anything about doctor who, you know he has regenerations. the doctor was on his (technically speaking) 9th regeneration. honestly not sure why he gave up the leather jacket and doc martens later on because they were fantastic.

my doctor who dr has absolutely no plot (this is a hyperbole). also, sorry to rose fans, but she’s not exactly in existence in my dr.

my first ‘trip’ (?) with the doctor was to 1800s massachusetts (can you believe it? doctor who finally got the budget to go to america😂). in a nutshell, an alien species thought chemical warfare was a good idea so they sent down a bacteria that can lead to fatal bacterial infections for humans. i’m not the doctor so i can’t tell you every wee detail but think of the infection as if it’s botulism. it’s fucking terrifying; losing control of your own body, muscle spasms, dehydration to the point it feels like you’re choking, etc. ❗️fortunately ❗️it wasn’t wide-spread yet but the doctor (and i, but let’s be real wtf was i gonna do) was on a strict time schedule to eradicate this bacteria. i never saw these aliens face-to-face so i couldn’t describe their physical appearances but their voices sounded as if they were constantly coughing up dirt. maybe i’m biased because they were trying to eliminate all of mankind 🤷

obviously after this i wanted to go back to my great nation, england. if this isn’t radiating sarcasm then just let me clarify: this is sarcasm.

after every trip, i’d write down in my journal (i’m not gay, i swear, i just like journalling) what happened. i didn’t want to forget anything + i kind of want to make a children’s storybook based on the trips. not yet though, i’m not done exploring all of time and space.

currently, the doctor is at the start of his 11th regeneration. we haven’t yet met adult amy or rory because we’re in that short time period between the doctor ransacking poor amelia’s kitchen for food and then the doctor abandoning the kid for 12 years.

also can i just say as one final signing off message: i. miss. captain. jack.

i’m gonna go listen to the holdovers soundtrack and stare at my ceiling until morning time!

Last night I entered the void and felt myself detaching from this reality (reattached when i heard my cat running around in my room)

I think I had a realisation. While I plan on permashifting to my DR, I don’t know if I’m ready. Yes, I love my family there and I cannot wait to see them, I’m not ready to let go of my other DRs. Once I shift to Sandrock I’m not gonna want to leave which is why I haven’t (i think)

So now I’m going to focus on other things at the moment. I know how to shift, I want to see my father. I also want to see my X-Men family eventually. And I don’t know if I’m fully ready to let go of this reality. So maybe permashifting isn’t in my cards.

Right now I think I’ll take a reset and then try to shift to the TARDIS, do nothing in particular, the TARDIS is the waiting room I want to shift to.

So I still haven’t successfully reality shifted yet BUT I just had my closest attempt

The power went out for a few hours so I tried really hard to shift to the serial of Doctor Who I just watched (The Time Warrior) and I tried really hard to imagine myself inside Linx’s ship. I got really close. It was dark inside because they were trying to let me get some rest, I did have a memory of Linx carrying me there, I almost felt his arms around me and me pressed against his chest (it was a sort of bridal carry) while the Third Doctor and Sarah Jane walked in front and asked if I was okay/when I’d be conscious

I heard the Third Doctor’s voice the whole time egging me on, I didn’t hear it externally but I did hear it clearly in my head, telling me to wake up, asking if I can see his hand that hes waving in front of me. I know the Doctor and Sarah Jane put a bed for me in Linx’s ship so I’d have somewhere to rest while I recuperate/try to become conscious.

This is the first reality shifting attempt I’ve made where I was actually able to open my eyes and somewhat see my DR surroundings!! I was trying really hard to see the outline of Linx’s ship door, or the red and blue lights from the buttons on surrounding control panels, and while I couldn’t, I could see that the ship around me was spherical and I could see the empty dark ceiling. I couldn’t hear it externally but in my head I could hear Sarah Jane asking if I’m okay/if I’m ever going to wake up and the Doctor trying to reassure her. I do also remember seeing the flash of one of Linx’s devices that he flashed in my face, the one that made me unconscious in the first place. I remember seeing the flash of bright light.

I can shift!!! I am getting so close!! The Doctor even said himself, that I’m so close!
