Self-healing and anti-viral remedies
As many of us are aware, there is a threat among us being spread at rates faster than anyone can seem to keep up with. Of course there are the top two ways to prevent illness and spread of the Corona Virus and that is:
1. WASH YOUR HANDS (for 20 seconds) as it can remain on surfaces and cling to your skin.
2. STAY HOME. By all means necessary.
Here are a few other homeopathic remedies that are out there to help and are all considered antiviral:
COLLOIDAL SILVER
Silver has been utilized as a medicine since ancient times to treat scores of ailments, including the bubonic plague. Colloidal silver is a suspension of pure metallic silver in water, that is used to dramatically reduce the activity of the HIV virus in AIDS patients, slow down the ravages of the hepatitis C virus and combat other viruses in general. It works by interfering with the enzymes that allow a virus to utilize oxygen thus, in essence, suffocating it so it cannot do damage in the body.
ELDERBERRY
The common black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) has long been used to reduce the length and severity of flu symptoms and studies. Taking 60 ml a day for adults and 30 ml for children helps to facilitate a complete recovery, often in three days. Elderberry extract binds to the tiny spikes on a virus protein that are used to pierce and invade healthy cells and destroys them so that the virus is ineffective. Elderberry may also be effective against the herpes simplex virus and some HIV strains.
ECHINACEA
The herb Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea) is supportive of the immune system and has a direct anti-viral action against colds and viral bronchitis. Preparations that include both the roots and the flowering tops are the most effective at helping the body resist the viruses.
GARLIC
Garlic has been prized for its medicinal properties for thousands of years. The compounds allicin and alliion are responsible for this common plant’s reputation as a triple threat. Garlic is anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal and it is especially effective against viruses if chewed raw.
GREEN TEA
Green tea (Camellia sinensis) contains a group of flavonoids called catechins, which appear to inhibit viral infections by blocking the enzymes that allow it to reproduce. Green tea has been known to be effective in inhibiting HIV, herpes simples and the hepatitis B virus.
LIQORICE
Liquorice contains a substance called glycyrrhizin that reduces the replication of viruses and halts their ability to penetrate replicate inside healthy cells. It has been noted to be effective in the treatment of many viral illnesses including HIV strains and viral hepatitis.
OLIVE LEAF
The leaves of Olive trees (Olea europea) contain a substances called elenoic acid and calcium elonate has been identified as a powerful inhibitor of a wide range of viruses in laboratory tests., including influenza, herpes, polio and coxsackie viruses. These substances block the production of enzymes that allow viruses to replicate.
PAU D’ARCO
Pau d’arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa), also known as lapacho or ipe roxo, is an Amazon tree with healing inner bark that can treat colds, influenza, herpes and viral stomatis. It contains quinoids that inhibit virus replication by damaging the DNA and RNA inside the viral protein that would insert itself in a healthy human cell and replicate.
ST JOHN’S WORT
St John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) is ore well-known for its ability to treat depression and neuralgia but it also has potent antiviral chemicals called hypercin and pseudohypericin that proactively fight off viruses that thrive by imitating existing cells through “cloaking”. These viruses that masquerade as human cells include Herpes, HIV and Hepatitis C.
For the most effective results it is highly recommended that at least two or three of these remedies in conjunction in order to vanquish viruses. As always, consult your naturopathic doctor for advise that is tailored specifically to your body. (1)

Claws clicked across keys swiftly as Dajia muttered quietly to itself, eyes cast up to a large view screen. Holographic pop ups and streams of information superimposed over the main screen would pop up every few minutes, left to hover off in peripheral vision or to be popped back into nothingness with a flick of a hand.
Ears twisted forward and back at the sound of beeps issuing from the interface, eyes jumping from one new it of information to the next before a seemingly innocuous chirp sounded. Dajia paused, whiskers quivering as it turned to look up at the notification. [ FLIGHT 28EK ARRIVED AT BEZGALOR AS SCHEDULED ] The Chua pursed lips, one ear turning back as it turned while swiping the message away. A hand was waved, browser popping up to follow the motion before settling in the middle of the screen. Another wave and then a poke at the screen before a chat room loaded. NANO COLLECTIVE was set in bold face type above the chat box, with Instantly a scroll of “ROXO, ROXO, ROXO” zoomed past before abrupt shutting down. Dajia blinked, face contorting in confusion before the indicator that someone was typing popped up.
[R@PAXMAX] : Cousin Datte is dead. Oh and Ijio is back. Nodding, Dajia clicked the browser off as it settled back in its seat. A successful flight and Sibling Ijio was back home. Its nose wrinkled, eyes cast back up to the screen as it exhaled. -and still stuck on Nexus. In swamp.
The Chua’s tail gave an irritated slap against the side of its seat while Dajia took a moment to ruminate over the current situation. The embers of the Vigilant Sanctuary had barely settled to ash before Dajia had been reassigned to an outpost far removed from Dominion territory. It had been decided that the Vigilant Church should be the cornerstone of the wooden outpost. A backwater land that seemed constricted in confusion with uneven land given to swampy bogs and clogged forests wherever roots could get a hold. Far from ideal and apparently Dajia was just the disciple to drop into such a position. Chua were welcome within the Dominion, but within the Church? Most would rather forget the devoted rodent. Shuffling it off to a remote site seemed ideal. Yet- Dajia nodded to itself slowly, smiling. A secluded site also entailed that its studies would not be interrupted, let alone discovered. The fire that had taken out the Vigilant Sanctuary had been a grand one with an explosion that had shattered the foundation of the church while leaving a nasty hole beneath. Pesky Exiles was the official reason. Certainly, the fire had been all them but the explosions? More Chua style and ideal for destroying anything that would have been suspect. Dajia’s smile turned smug as it settled into the chair. Before a beep made one eye pop open. The sound was accompanied by a message pop up. Then a sudden scroll of text and a beep for each line. Dajia shot up, ears flattening back as it released a small growl. “Why is spa-” It paused, noticing the pink font and cheerful avatar. Parent Moro. The Chua exhaled heavily as it flopped back into the chair. Papa Moro was endlessly excited and probably yammering on about Sibling Ijio’s landing. A quick glance showed text still scrolling and the beeps still coming at rapid fire. Dajia squinted, ears back before blinking. The Chua snapped to attention as eyes caught on key phrases. A countdown.
[Brace for impact] [INCOMING]
There was no time to even respond before the sound akin to a Collective of Chua igniting bombs all at the same time went off. The whole Vigilant Sanctuary seemed to leap forward as Dajia was tossed from its chair. A rumble close at hand echoed with the sound of tumbling rocks followed by the rush of water, a hiss, and the scent of ozone creeped into Dajia’s office as the Chua bounced to its feet. It waved the now cracked view screen blank in passing, feet quickly padding as shouts from beyond its office bled in.
Acolytes, settlers, and soldiers alike were streaming out in a rush from the side rooms coughing and looking about bewildered. Not many took notice of the diminutive Chua underfoot as the crowd surged into the open air of Dreadmoor. Outside the murky air was filled with further dust, while plumes of smoke began to dot the area as Dajia clamored up to the outpost’s runway. “Wha-?” It stood gaping with the rest of the Vigilant’s occupants as what once was a boggy lake dotted with willow trees now seemed to be occupied by an asteroid. Dajia blinked, eyes narrowing as it caught on the details. Encapsulated windows, space grade walls peeking out among the strewn about rocks and debris. “DAJIA CHILD! MAMA MORO IS HERE!” A shout came from one side of the massive structure as a familiar flash of pink came into focus. Flanking it were what appeared to be shaken researchers, scientists, and doctors. “No...” The Chua groaned, tugging ears down as it watched the approach of its parent. “Moro heard Dajia heading settlement, possible Junction!” Moro cackled, gesturing behind. “Ijio no longer heading Evidra Institute. Moro use it now and brought it to Dajia! Fully furnished settlement delivery complete!”

Big Ol’ Honking’ OC Question List: K. For OCs in Reality-Based Worlds Who Are Unusual in Paranormal Ways (such as magical abilities, being another species, having a curse like lycanthropy, sci-fi abilities, being from another time, et cetera)– Also for OCs where the scenario is similar even if their universe isn’t based on reality
1. Does your OC have to keep their paranormal aspect (PA) a secret from general society? If so, how? I.e., they can’t discuss their abilities, they have to hide a tail, they have an alter-ego, et cetera. What would happen if society found out about it?
- Some faunus conceal their identity the best they can, but Taronja, Crimson, Roxo, Corax, Chaton, & Kon do not. They are occasionally subject to racism because they don’t hide their animal traits
2. Are there others in their universe with the same or a similar PA as your OC? I.e., others from different dimensions, others of their same species. Do they know about it?
- There are many faunus in Remnant
3. Does your OC have any friends who know about their PA? Any enemies?
- They don’t hide their animal traits, so everyone knows about them
4. Does your OC ever use their PA to get an advantage? I.e., use their ability to be invisible to steal or get out of things, compete in track while their species is a naturally superior runner, use their invulnerability in careers like police work… If so, do they have any hang-ups about it?
- All of them (except Roxo, for obvious reasons) have night vision. But no characters use them being a faunus as an advantage unless it's in a fight.
5. Does your OC feel isolated or unrelatable due to the experience their PA brings with it? If so, how do they deal with it?
- Taronja: No
- Crimson: Society isolates her just because she has an extra set of ears
- Roxo: He is blind and feel's isolated from that but not that he's a faunus
- Corax: No
- Chaton: She grew up being bullied a lot for her cat ears
- Kon: He feels unrelatable because he grew up in a pack but that's about it.
6. Does their PA cause issues in daily life? I.e., if they’re inhuman in a human universe and they can’t go to a doctor or risk the doctor realizing they are not human, super abilities with physical drawbacks, they don’t have control of their abilities and must keep to themselves, et cetera… If so, how do they feel about it?
- Being a faunus can cause discrimination in their society, such as refusal to be helped in stores and restaurants, or lower wages/more dangerous jobs
7. Does your OC’s PA affect their dietary habits so that they are unusual or problematic by their society’s standards?
- No
8. What are some routines, if any, of self-care that your OC must engage in that are not typical of their society? I.e., having to file their teeth, maintaining magical rituals, drinking blood…
- Taronja: He has to clean his ears
- Crimson: She has to clean out her ears
- Roxo: No
- Corax: She has to preen her feathers every once and a while
- Chaton: She has to be careful not to hit her ears on anything because they're sensitive
- Kon: No
9. Does your OC have knowledge that they can’t share with the rest of their world that could improve it if it didn’t cause chaos? I.e., a character from the future knowing about technology not yet invented, but they can’t reveal themselves by sharing it?
- No
10. Would your OC give up their PA if they could? Why or why not?
- Taronja: No, he loves being Faunus
- Crimson: No; she’s very proud of being a faunus
- Roxo: No
- Corax: No
- Chaton: Yes, she loves being part cat but hates the discrimination it brings
- Kon: Yes, and he feels very guilty about it

Aldir Blanc's daughter mobilizes social networks in search of ICU bed for composer
Famous composer, Aldir Blanc is suspicious of coronavirus, but could not find a bed in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Faced with the drama, his daughter, Isabel Blanc, used social media to raise awareness among medical authorities. And it did. The hashtag #AldirBlancSOS took effect and the songwriter with “O bêbado eo equilibrista” is in the CTI of Hospital CER Leblon.
Aldir Blanc also composed success for leading names in Brazilian Popular Music, such as João Bosco, Clara Nunes and the group Underwear.
Aldir Blanc has been hospitalized since Friday (10). Examinations indicated Covid-19. “Living one day at a time,” said Isabel, on social media. This Wednesday (15), the daughter communicated with the public through Facebook. She said she is waiting for her father's medical record, but that imaging tests indicate that Aldir has a coronavirus.
Infection and pneumonia
Aldir Blanc presented, on Friday, a picture of mild pneumonia and urine infection. Afterwards, doctors detected a worsening of the respiratory situation, which triggered the need to intubate the composer.
Situation in Rio
According to the latest bulletin released, the state of Rio de Janeiro has 229 deaths from coronavirus. There are 121 deaths that are still under investigation. The most recent information shows that 62 of the 92 municipalities in Rio have cases of the disease. Of that total, 27 count deaths.
Of the deaths released on Wednesday, nine occurred in the capital. Magé, Itaboraí and Niterói also registered deaths.
The victims' age: the oldest was 90 years old and the youngest, 53; the average age of victims of covid-19 is 74 years, according to the state health department.
Other cases
In Duque de Caxias the situation is worrying: 100% of the ICU beds are occupied. The number of deaths increased by 25% and Mayor Washington Reis is one of the confirmed patients with coronavirus.
The Baixada Fluminense records deaths in Nova Iguaçu (two cases), Queimados and São João de Meriti.
Niterói, in the metropolitan region, counts two more deaths. São Gonçalo and Itaboraí also recorded deaths. In the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, the secretariat recorded deaths in Resende Barra Mansa. By municipality, the capital records 140 deaths, Duque de Caxias, 20; Niterói, 10 deaths; Nova Iguaçu, 8; Volta Redonda presents six fatal cases. São Gonçalo has 5, Itaboraí, 4 and Belfort Roxo, 3 occurrences of death.
The last balance of the state health department of Rio de Janeiro accounts for deaths in Maricá, with 3 cases. The same number is registered in São João de Meriti. Iguaba Grande, Itaguaí, Mangaratiba, Rio Bonito and Rio das Ostras recorded two deaths.

Compraria novamente? Não. Algumas meninas me falaram que o Darling roxo (Ceramidas) é melhor, então talvez eu tome coragem e teste ele daqui a algum tempo.

Wilson Witzel announces he has the new coronavirus
On Tuesday (14) the governor of the state of Rio de Janeiro, Wilson Witzel (PSC), went public to say that he was infected with the new coronavirus. The politician stated that, even with the disease, he will continue with his work routine, still alerting the population about the dangers that surround contamination, asking, once again, that everyone can stay in their homes.
Wilson Witzel, in the statement, said that since Friday he was not feeling well, asking that tests for the virus could be performed and having a positive result.
According to him, the symptoms he felt were loss of smell, fever and sore throat.
The governor also thanked God that he was feeling well, being able to continue with his work inside the Laranjeiras Palace, keeping, of course, the recommendations and restrictions that are imposed by doctors. He also said that he is sure that he will be able to overcome this difficulty more. Continuing, Wilson said that the population will be able to count on your help, as they will continue with their work normally. The politician also stressed that the disease does not choose anyone, having a contagion quickly.
Restriction measures in Rio de Janeiro
This Monday (13th), Wilson Witzel had extended the quarantine in the state until the next 30th, imposing measures that restricted the movement of people around the entire state of Rio de Janeiro. The decree issued by the same is a policy to face the pandemic that has been surrounding several countries around the globe.
In Rio de Janeiro, the closure of public and private schools, as well as higher education institutions and daycare centers that are part of the state, is decreed. The governor also explained that, at the moment, the ban on concerts, sporting events and any other events that may generate a large crowd of people in a space continues.
Places such as the gym, cinemas, theaters, among others must remain closed in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
The other stores, however, are authorized to make calls at home, a scheme called “delivery”.
Authorities with coronavirus
In addition to the governor of Rio de Janeiro, other authorities also went public to say that they were infected with the new coronavirus. Among them are several secretaries of the mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo Crivella.
Among some of those infected are Washigton Reis, mayor of the city of Duque de Caxias, Beatriz Bush, municipal secretary of Cheers, Adolfo Konder, municipal secretary of Culture, Waguinho, mayor of Belford Roxo, among others.
