I wish there was a masterlist of basic plural terms in a bunch of different languages, because it's so hard to find translations for terms like "headmate" and "system". They never come up in the dictionary (well, system does, but not usually the right definition). If you're lucky you can find some DID-specific terms, but that's if you're lucky, and if you're not comfortable with medical terminology for your system, there's basically no way to find anything unless you're really fluent and can manage to stumble across the right search terms.

#honestly we might try to make something along these lines #maybe a google form to collect responses and a doc for easy reference?#we could collect a wide variety of terms too #anything from “im learning this as a 2nd language and i don't know any other systems who speak it so here are the terms i made up #bc i couldn't find any and wanted to be able to talk about myself“ to ”this is my native language and this is what me and #systems in my community use“.#plurality #endo safe #anti endos dni #actually plural #linguistics

i dont interact with a lot of topics abt indigenous reconnecting bc ima nigga so its like my family were enslaved by our tribes but you want me to prove my FULL lineage?! Esp if youre a stranger and not understanding of afro indigenous issues. The gaps are because we got sold on my dads side twice and then forced off our land via trail of tears and then were stripped off tribal roles/legal documents bc of non black native assimilation into "american" culture

Making my own region for a dnd out of spite for lack of mesoamerican (in the case of this region, Nahua) cultures and cities as well as also inserting the names of cities from my country because of their meanings (like for example Nahuizalco means "Four places of obsidian" god thats so cool)
