oh to live in a world where astarion had made it all the way through development as a tiefling
(gorg tieflingstarion head by @astarionposting!)
#the way his hair curls around these horns just a little bit is unreasonably endearing tbh#astarion ancunin#astarion#btw i hope it’s ok that i tagged you astarionposting if you see this! your presets are great and i want to link back to you#without tumblr putting a hit out on me for a regular hyperlink#bg3 astarion#astarion bg3#bg3#baldur’s gate 3#etc etc so on and so forth#my screenies#i do still think it's much funnier that he's so obviously vampiric as an elf and you're just not allowed to confront him about it though#like it's a decorum thing. you don't just ask strangers what's up with the fangs and the bite marks and the fixation on raw meat.

none of this is new info, but you know I have the "loves to write lists and compile links" disposition, so I thought it might be helpful to share some of the tips I've seen about how to make sure you're sharing legitimate palestinian evacuation fundraisers and bundle all those tips into a single handy reference post.
this is a spreadsheet of legitimate ("vetted") fundraisers on tumblr.
this post explains how the people who maintain this spreadsheet confirm the legitimacy of each fundraiser they add.
this podcast episode ("yousef and the fourth move") explains why evacuation fundraisers are often organized by people who don't live in gaza and/or who may not be immediate relatives of the people trying to evacuate. it's part three of a series about a man named yousef and his family; parts one and two aren't required listening for part three to make sense, but if you have a few hours to spare then I wholeheartedly recommend listening to all of them.
this is the process that I personally have been using to check whether a particular fundraiser has been vetted:
spreadsheet method
open the vetted fundraisers spreadsheet.
inside this spreadsheet, open the "find..." menu. on a windows computer, this shortcut is ctrl+F. on a mac, this shortcut is cmd+F. on a mobile device, click the three dots menu in the upper right corner of your screen, then select Find and replace.
search for the last name of the person or family in the fundraiser. you may get several results because last names obviously aren't unique; keep hitting "next" until you've looked at all the results.
if you find an entry in the spreadsheet that has the exact same name and whose gofundme link leads to the same fundraiser associated with the blog, it's legitimate. if you don't find an entry in the spreadsheet that matches the blog's fundraiser, that does not mean it's a scam. try the next method below!
tumblr search method
copy the username of the tumblr who originally posted the fundraiser and/or sent you a message asking you to boost the fundraiser. (for example, username123)
paste this username into tumblr's search bar.
for best results, click the All types drop-down menu, then select Text. since the search page is often dominated by asks sent by username123 (which people then answer and tag with their username), this helps narrow things down a bit.
look to see if any people who are not username123 have made posts confirming that username123 is legitimate. this includes people who've reblogged fundraisers and added notes, people who've compiled masterlists, and people sharing hyperlinks to other posts confirming a fundraiser's legitimacy. if the message seems to be "yep, looks legit," then it's safe to assume it's legit.
this is not a comprehensive list, but here are some of the usernames I've seen associated with "yep, looks legit"-type posts and who I've come to trust by association. (disclaimers: I am not mutuals with any of the users, and not all of them do the vetting firsthand, but the ones who don't vet posts themselves still seem to be careful about what they share and therefore are a good lead to follow. also, don't bug these people to vet fundraisers for you unless they've specifically indicated that they're open to that.)
90-ghost
el-shab-hussein
nabulsi
appsa
northgazaupdates
retvolution
communistchilchuck
neptunerings
a-shade-of-blue
shimamitsu
neither of these methods yielded anything definitive; what now?
it may just be too early to tell. unless a trusted source has shared overwhelming evidence that a particular fundraiser is a scam (which seems to be a very very rare occurrence), the best thing you can do is ignore it. don't report their blog as spam, because there's a good chance it's a legitimate fundraiser who just hasn't been vetted yet.

LOTR Newsletter 3 Shire Drift - FAQ
Hello everyone!
Just like last year: for those of you who are already familiar with The Lord of the Rings Newsletter, this serves as an announcement that I'm doing it again; and for those who aren't - an introduction to the project :)
What is LOTR Newsletter?
I'm one of the people who subscribed to Dracula Daily in May 2022, and immediately thought, "Hey, I can do this too but with XYZ!" - XYZ being The Lord of the Rings. Because the events of LOTR also have specific dates ascribed to them, we're gonna be reading LOTR as it happened.
When does it take place?
Because of the way the beginning of LOTR is structured (read: because I don't want to leave six-month-long breaks between the first entries), we're gonna start on September 15th - a week before September 22nd, when the main events start to take place. It's also the publishing date of the Silmarillion, but that's just a fun fact for my own enjoyment.
From September 15th to September 19th, we'll read the prologue, and the fragments preceding Frodo's departure from the Shire. From September 20th, we'll be reading according to the dates in the book until April 8th. Then we'll be reading last parts of the book - which are stretched over a long time - once a week, to once again avoid lengthy breaks in delivery.
The Newsletter will last from September 15th to May 26th.
Where do I go if I want to post/talk about something related to the Newsletter with other readers?
We discuss current (and not only current) entries in the #lotr newsletter tag, and we have a Discord server set by the amazing @k-she-rambles! (I really hope this time I managed to generate a link that never expires...)
How do I subscribe?
Since the original platform I was using (TinyLetter) was shut down halfway through the second year of the newsletter, I had to figure out an alternative way to execute this project.
For the lovely people who joined the last edition of the newsletter, just a short announcement - I weighed all the pros and cons and decided to continue carrying out the newsletter the way I did after TinyLetter shut down.
For the new folks, a lengthier explanation: check out this post if you want to learn the details, but long story short: I can't send the newsletter as e-mails anymore, so instead I decided to provide you with a ready copy of the entire thing. I prepared formatted copies of the whole newsletter - September 15th to May 26th - as an .odt file, as a .pdf file, and most importantly as an .epub file, because I assume most of you are reading on your phones (if you don't already have an .epub reader, I use FBReader, and everything worked fine on my phone). At the beginning you'll find the whole table of contents with hyperlinks, so the navigation inside the document should be easy!
The MEGA folder can be accessed right here, and it's available for everyone!
In the folder linked, you'll also find a calendar file made by @none-ofthisnonsense that you can download on your phone and import into your calendar app so that all days when we read are marked in your calendar!
If you want to receive notifications about when there is an entry to read, you can also follow @is-today-a-lotr-newsletter-day and turn on notifications! This is a blog created solely for notifying you all when we're reading a new fragment of the newsletter, so all notifications you'll get will be about new entries, and nothing more. The notifications are meant to be the equivalent of sending e-mails.
Anything else I should know?
Please don't rat me out to Tolkien Estate/j, and have fun reading!
(And as a PS.: Thank you very much if you join - or join again! Last year was very tumultuous because of all the changes in the format, and I know the new way is not for everyone - but introducing more changes again felt like once more creating new chaos, so I decided to stick to a solution that mostly worked. I hope you understand!)
See you on September 15th!

a little advice
pairing: Eddie Munson x reader
warnings: fingering, oral fem receiving, praise kink
summary: a sequel to “a little help,” accessible as the post before this one or through my navigation, but can be read alone. Sorry it’s not linked. When I put hyperlinks in my posts they don’t go to the tags and idk how to fix that.
Teaching Eddie to make you cum.
word count: 1.4k
“Well, I want to return the favor,” Eddie said. His hands moved beneath the hem of your skirt, toying with the elastic waistband of your panties. “If you’d give me a little advice.” You grinned.
“Yeah, I’ll give you a little advice.”
“Let’s go to the bedroom,” you suggested as you rose off Eddie’s lap. He managed to keep hold of your hand and didn’t let it go as he followed you back to his room. You climbed up onto Eddie’s bed, arranging pillows behind you so you were sat up from the mattress. Eddie watched from the edge of the bed, nervous about what he should do. You pulled your skirt up to your stomach, revealing your underwear to Eddie.
“Do you want to take them off for me?” You asked. Eddie’s eyes lit up. He crawled onto the bed and hooked his fingers around the elastic of your cotton panties. He dragged them down your legs slowly, letting his hands run over your body as he pulled your underwear off. Eddie crumpled them up and tossed them off the side of the bed. He aimed for his laundry pile, hoping you wouldn’t be able to find them later and he’d have a souvenir. He looked up at you with wide eyes.
“What next?” He asked. You smiled at him, unable to contain it. He was so sweet. So loving. So perfect. So Eddie.
“Give me your hand,” you said, reaching out to take his. He let you take his hand in yours. You moved it between your legs. You dragged his fingers through your folds.
“You feel how wet I am?” You asked him.
“Mmhmm,” Eddie withheld a moan.
“That’s all just from sucking your dick, Eds,” you told him. Eddie blushed brightly. He pushed his fingers through your pussy lips, gathering your cum onto them and feeling just how wet you were
“Is this—Is this a lot?” Eddie asked. “It feels like a lot.” You giggled.
“Yeah, Eds, it’s a lot. I don’t know if I’ve ever been this wet before,” you admitted. That pulled a moan from Eddie.
“Tell me what to do, baby,” Eddie begged. “I want to make you feel good.” Your cunt pulsed at his words alone.
“Feel this,” you instructed, moving his fingers to your clit. Eddie rubbed the pads of his fingers over the bud, just trying to learn what exactly he was touching. His fingers moved smoothly, still wet after you’d let him feel what he did to you.
“Mmmmooh,” you moaned involuntarily. Eddie’s eyes flicked up to your face. He started rubbing your clit with a slow, featherlight pressure, but he had you whining nonetheless. You had been aching for Eddie to touch you like this since the day you met him.
“This is your clit?” He asked. You laughed.
“Yes, baby,” you said. “It’s my clit.” Eddie pushed your hand away, still resting over his. You moved it to his shoulder, digging your fingers into the firm muscle there.
“How does this feel?” He asked.
“Press a little harder,” you said. Eddie put a firmer pressure on your clit as he rubbed his fingers back and forth.
“How’s this?” He asked.
“It’s—Ohh—It’s good,” you assured him.
“What else, sweetheart?” He asked. “What feels better?” He asked.
“Try rubbing in circles,” you told him. Eddie started moving his fingers against your clit in a clumsy circle. Your legs kicked against the mattress. Eddie smiled to himself. He was proud that he could bring you pleasure.
“That’s good?” He asked smugly. You gasped, catching your breath as his circles became more and more uniform.
“It’s good, Eds,” you whispered. “Really good.”
“Tell me more, baby,” Eddie requested. “I want to make you cum.” You moaned at his confession.
“Your other hand,” you gasped.
“What about it? What do you want?” He asked. He was growing more and more confident. He was asking for your instructions, but somehow he was in control.
“Your f-fingers—Fuck me with—Oh!” You gasped. Eddie understood what you wanted even through your broken mumblings. He pushed two fingers into you and you whined loudly.
“How do you want me to move them, baby?” He asked sweetly.
“Slow,” you said. “Curl them up,” you told him. Eddie followed your instructions, curling his fingers against you just the way you liked. He made long, slow strokes with his fingers.
“Is that good?” He asked. His fingers were still moving against your clit and you were moving towards your orgasm.
“It—Fuck—It’s good, Eddie,” you assured him. Eddie started moving his fingers faster against your clit, starting to have an intuition of what you needed already.
“What else, baby? What else do you like?” Eddie pushed. You whimpered as you tried to think of something, your mind foggy from the way Eddie was touching you.
“Tell me I’m a good girl,” you pleaded. Eddie grinned widely at this request.
“Oh, sweetheart, you’re such a good girl for me,” Eddie praised. “You made me feel so good. You had me so hard without even trying, baby. You’ve got me hard again now,” he told you. You glanced down to his crotch and saw the noticeable bulge in his sweatpants.
“Eddie,” you whimpered weakly.
“My good, good girl,” Eddie cooed. “You’re doing so good telling me what you want.”
“Please,” you gasped.
“Please, what? Help me out here, princess.” Eddie was keeping his aura of dominance. He could see how much you liked it. He liked it plenty himself. But you could also tell he really wanted you to tell him. He was still new despite how quickly he had stepped into the persona of a sex god.
“Fuck me a little faster with your fingers and rub a little faster too,” you begged.
“What if I use my tongue?” Eddie asked. Your eyes widened at this offer.
“Are you sure?” You asked.
“Please,” Eddie insisted. “I want to taste you.” You moaned.
“Yeah,” you said. “Go ahead, but keep fucking me with your fingers, just use your mouth on my clit.” Eddie shifted his body so he could position his mouth over your pussy.
“A little advice?” Eddie requested. You were still a mess of whined and gasps as he continued moving his fingers slowly inside you.
“It’s not g-going to t-take very much,” you admitted. Eddie smirked and kissed your thigh.
“What should I do, baby?” This time Eddie’s voice was soft. His facade had washed away. He just wanted to make you feel good now.
“Focus on my clit, try licking circles around it,” you told him. Eddie didn’t hesitate, diving down and pushing his tongue against you. He moved his tongue down to your folds at first, clearly taking a taste of your sweet center before he moved up to your clit as instructed. You moaned as his tongue began circling your clit, pushing firmly against you.
“Fuck, Eddie!” You reached down and dug your fingers into his curls.
“What else?” Eddie mumbled against your cunt.
“Angle your fingers up a little and suck on my clit,” you begged desperately. Eddie obeyed immediately. It was only another moment before you were falling apart from Eddie’s touch for the first time. You cried out in pleasure. Eddie kept his mouth on you until you pushed him away. He looked down at you with a wild smile on his face. You caught your breath, your mind returning from its haze and a smile fell onto your lips as well.
“That was real, wasn’t it?” Eddie asked. “I made you cum?” You laughed.
“Yeah, Eds, you made me cum,” you assured him. Eddie sighed in relief. He leaned down and kissed you softly.
“Thank you, baby,” he said quietly.
“I need a minute before I take care of you again,” you told him.
“Take care of me?” He asked.
“I thought you got hard again,” you said.
“Oh,” Eddie mumbled shamefully.
“What?” You asked.
“I did but, uh—I sorta…” Eddie stammered. You looked down to his pants and saw the large wet spot that was seeping through the material of his grey sweatpants. You giggled softly. Eddie blushed brightly.
“You’re so fucking cute,” you told him.
“Because I came in my pants?” Eddie questioned incredulously.
“Because of everything,” you said. “I just…really like you,” you said, holding back the word you really meant. Eddie knew what you wanted to say though, and he wasn’t afraid to say it.
“I love you too, baby,” he told you. You grinned.
“You always know what I’m thinking.”
“Will you say it? Please?” Eddie asked. You pressed your lips against Eddie’s firmly, your hand on his cheek. You kept your forehead pressed to his when you pulled away, still cupping his face softly.
“I love you, Eddie Munson. With all my heart.”

~Let's talk about credit~
(not financial credit trust me you don't want to take financial advice from me lol)
No, today I am inviting y'all to the table to talk about the importance of crediting other creators in fandom!
Because, listen. We don't have a peer-review system. We don't have to submit our stuff to a plagiarism checker or go through stringent editing when shitposting on tumblr; we operate in an honor system of crafting folklore using our favorite blorbos, and that means that inspiration and using the specific words and images from canon creates a grey area on what ought to be credited, and how to do it in a way that creates a solid, strong community.
Here's a little of my philosophy and how I give proper credit where it's due, so I figured I'd share them to hopefully encourage others in making sure no one out there ends up becoming fandom's James Somerton
1. Links are your friends, use them enthusiastically
Drooled over a gifset that made you write a poem? Read a fic that made you pull out your embroidery hoop? Saw some art that made you write a song? Link to the original! Tag the original artist, hyperlink to the giffer, share the fic via the amazing shortcut button on Ao3, it's what those creators deserve! Even if it's a shitpost, that creator is where your idea started, and it's the right thing to do to share directly where your audience can connect with the person who inspired you.
This holds INFINITELY true if you are directly quoting someone. If you've used someone else's words to create your own work, link back to the original. No one wants to be sent a fic or a funny post on tumblr and then feel the sinking pit in their stomach when they realize that post is their own words with someone else's name on them.
2. Ask for permission when you can
Now, the reason I threw the addendum on this with "when you can" is because knowing when to ask for permission is more of an art versus a science. I myself have written more than one fic inspired by art where I didn't reach out to the artist before I shared the fic because I had no contact with them (the joys of me refusing to touch the garbage that is the bird site). BUT this is why point number one is to always link back to the original inspiration, because I believe that should always be the bare minimum.
THAT BEING SAID.
If you have a way of contacting the original fellow fandom person who inspired you? Reach out and ask them if they'd feel comfortable with you creating something! 999 times out of 1000, they're gonna be over the MOON you want to create something inspired by what they made, and they'll be really fucking pleased you reached out to check.
3. Ask yourself: is this a "two cakes" situation or am I putting my name on someone else's cake?
This is another one that can absolutely fall into a bit of a grey area. I have written many a fic that started out with me reading a take or a fic that went in a WILDLY different direction from what I was expecting or wanted, and I went "okay, fuck it. I'll write my own." And that's absolutely been a great motivator for me to start a project!
HOWEVER.
That is me creating a different flavor of cake, putting my own frosting on it, and probably adding something weird like lemon zest and instant coffee for a lemonade cappucino chiffon that shouldn't work (but definitely does, trust me)
If I were to have read a fic or a take and then gone, "Oh, yeah, definintely, here's the same idea but now I've rephrased it juuust a little and now it's under MY username on my blog".... that's slapping a different color of frosting on the same cake and claiming it's mine. If you find yourself doing that, I really invite you to pause and consider why you felt the need to do so instead of sharing the original post.
Like, not to bring Shakespeare into it (they say, poorly concealing their icon), but fandom can be exactly like how Juliet views love. Sharing joy in what others have created absolutely can be as "boundless as the sea [...] the more I give [...], the more I have, for both are infinite". It does not take away from the joy your fellow fandom friends will have in your own original work to share the work of others.
4. Hyping up your inspiration is FUN
Finally, this is more of me going "no really, proper credit isn't going to mean people love YOU less" because I truly believe in the power of how much FUN it really is to give credit where it's due. I was buzzing for WEEKS in anticipation of publishing Objection! and The 'I Duoy' Newlywed Special because the marvelous @jackuntiljune had brainstromed with me on the name for the boat my boys eloped on. And I get so fucking giddy when I see someone comment on those fics about the name of the boat because I get to take a giant breath and go "MY FRIEND JACK CAME UP WITH IT, AREN'T THEY AMAZING?!"
If you practice giving credit where it's due, I promise promise PROMISE it will become a joy. It's FUN getting to bring more people into the sandbox to play, and I know I love it when there's more than one person out there I can yell at (affectionate) when I've been emotionally destroyed (again, affectionate) by a gifset or art or fic <3
Thanks so much for reading this far! I can't wait to keep sharing inspiration with all of you out there

I did a speedrun of the ganlink ao3 tag and gathered up as many fics as I could find that I had read and enjoyed (some are missing). U can click on the titles for the hyperlinks, I have made note of the ratings, but to keep the list concise I haven't copied in the summaries and haven't included my thoughts at length. But I've enjoyed them all so here u go :)
Signs of radiance by tciddaemina (E) 20k+ words
I uhh…. The plot goes hard but the… the… is. Is hot AHEM
Come the eclipse by tciddaemina (E) 1.5k+ words
Sequel to ‘signs of radiance’, i’m sending chef kisses to this one
Reckon the stars by ziskeyt (M) (BotW) 60k+ words -work in progress
Ever read something that is so rich in world building that u feel like u are getting taken by the hand and pulled through a scene
One way or another by wouldyouknowmore (E) (BotW) 4.5k+ words
Yes this one is very hot but what got me hooked is how hard the exchanges made me laugh
To know you by prompoms (E) (BotW) 9k+ words
FILTH FILTH FILTH *breathes heavily into a paper bag*
Overtime by degradedpsychotic (E) 9k+ words
*claws up walls and hangs off the ceiling fan* SO FILTHY AND FUNNY YES
Sweet dreams by tirsynni (G) (OoT) 995 words
This fic is just so sad and pretty
Touch of forbidden by tirsynni (G) (OoT) 1.5k+ words
Ever see a concept and just go yooooooo
The crown jewel by nicxan (G) 3k+ words
Still one of the cutest fucking fics i’ve read
Hiraeth by acris_kerd (nsfw) (OoT) 30k+ words - work in progress
I will never ever recover from the characterisation in this fic. Absolutely do carefully read the tags if u want to give this fic a shot. The angst is just so satisfying, Link and Ganon are such flawed people who are terrible to each other, and then the gradual development that makes me want to throw myself at a wall. I’ve re-read the available chapters so many times
#fic rec list#i wish i could include something for shiny ganlink#but its only been me writing for it#weeping#there is really not that many ganlink fics so u can pretty much generate ur own reading list with the tags#but sometimes what i thought was a botw fic turns out to be in the general loz tag#so i cant fucking find it

this person is a confirmed scammer btw, who remakes a lot but look out for this profile picture bc they reuse it a lot
also look out for:
scammer claiming the money will be used to evacuate multiple people from gaza but the fundraiser goal is way too small, like hundreds or a couple thousand dollars
paypal instead of gfm does not immediately mean scam but it makes the blog suspicious because paypal hasn't been working in gaza for a while now. the paypal money pool fundraisers also hide the location of the organiser
scams about diabetic palestinians that often specify humalog - this is the same scammer again and again
scams that link to (often paypal) fundraisers organised by people with kenyan names or names popular in countries bordering kenya - again this is the same scammer again and again
if you want to publish an ask / donate, you can reverse image search their pictures & also copy their asks and search them into tumblr, because scammers tend to use other people's texts or reuse them from their own deactivated scam blogs
just because a blog claims to be vetted doesn't mean they are - especially when they don't mention any blog or the blog they mention is tagged but not hyperlinked (it means either the vetter has them blocked or they have the vetter blocked). please check, a lot of the vetting masterposts are easily searchable / spreadsheets
i don't want to talk about scams to discourage people from donating, but a lot of people have been mass reporting any ask they get & i think that's way way more harmful, which is why it's way better to know the signs of scams so you can automatically eliminate them before spending effort to check if the rest are real. scammers are not the unstoppable boogeyman, they're often fairly easy to spot, which is why there is really no excuse to blanket-accuse all palestinian tumblr accounts of being scammers. anyways i'm not an expert on scams or anything, this is just like half an hour's worth of research on my part, but i'm going to be using these takeaways in the future to vet my own asks so i thought it might be useful. people like @neechees @kyra45 and @anonthescambuster are doing the actual valuable work of teaching everyone all these things & putting together lists of confirmed scammers. u can also go to their blogs to search up any url u think might be a scam, or to just learn more abt scam busting

UNTITLED EVIL LUIGI AU COMIC THING | Page 2 & 3 of (???)
Eggman Bowser’s come to make an announcement. Particularly to shut down any premonitions Mario may be holding onto a little too tightly. Bowser and Mario are able to set aside their differences (for now, at least) so that they can work together on a common goal-- figuring out where the hell Luigi is.
(A/N under cut)
---
believe me when i say i really wanted to link all the pages together in a neat, practical way so that everything would appear more organized than it actually is, but tumblr hates me and won’t let my posts show up in the tags if i include a hyperlink of any kind. :D
i read somewhere that tumblr only disallows posts from showing up in tags if it includes an external link (vs an internal/link to another tumblr page), which, in theory, shouldnt be an issue since the pages i’d be linking to are also on tumblr but regardless it’s not cooperating with me anyway. i’ve been on tumblr for what feels like a million years but this is the first time ive tried to make my posts cohesive like this so if anyone knows how to fix this issue im all ears 🙃 for the record, everything related to this au will be going into the following tags on my blog: #my art, and #evil luigi au. we’ll just have to sort things that way for now, i guess 😭
i start work tomorrow so can’t say when there will be a new page but i do have a lot planned out already. so hopefully i’ll be able to continue what ive started for at least a handful of more pages 🤠 next page will be fun to work on. for a bowuigi-centered story, where’s the luigi?! he’ll show up soon. just in the form of a flashback for now though 👀
also sorry if my handwriting is evil. it’s just personally easier/faster to write out everything by hand than type everything out but i may try to type the next page’s dialogue to see how it goes and to see if it makes things look ✨cleaner✨
(also also i spent so much time trying to figure out how to draw them doing a handshake for the “truce” panel. i ultimately failed. therefore.... fist bumps LMAO)
#bowuigi#bowser x luigi#bowser#mario#super mario bros#super mario movie#bowuigi comic#my art#mine#evil luigi au#remember how i said last time there will be absolutely no consistency to this in any sense of the word#these 2 pages really showcase that LOL#love how i go from drawing bowser with a full set of teeth to like. 3#maybe i really should consider typing out the text thatd probably help#anyway i hope i can keep this going for a bit#i do plan on writing an original comic someday so this is good practice/is a good confidence booster for me#i love drawing bowser holding teeny ass cups. it is so funny to me. why#also working on trying to better distinguish this story from mr L's story#because when i started it i did not really know about the whole mr L thing LOL#so im hoping it doesnt seem like im trying to like.......rip off that whole concept#that would be sad :(

Tag Game Instructions and Ediquette
This post is for anyone who wants to get involved in tag games but isn't sure how they work. I hope this helps<3
Instructions for some popular games and other things to keep in mind are beneath the cut.
If you guys could share this around to help some friends out that would be great!
Last Line Tag
Share the last line you wrote for a WIP. "Line" is a pretty lose term, it can mean anything from a paragraph to a sentence depending on your personal definition, or depending on how much you feel like sharing. It can also come from any WIP, and normally people share prose but sometimes if they haven't written prose recently you'll see them sharing bullet points from outlines or worldbuilding documents.
Heads Up Seven Up
Pretty much the same as Last Line Tag but, instead of one line, you share the last seven you wrote. Once again, a "line" can be anything from a paragraph to a sentence, they can come from any WIP (you could even have, say 3 lines from one WIP and 4 from another if you want to share both), and it is normally prose but sometimes you'll see people sharing outlines or worldbuilding. It is also very informal. If you want to share eight lines or five lines instead of seven you are completely welcome to do so.
Six Sentence Sunday
Another similar tag. On a Sunday (in your time zone), share the last six sentences you wrote. Again, they can come from any WIP (or multiple WIPs), it is normally prose but can be from other things, and you can share three sentences or ten sentences instead if it please you.
Find the Word Tag
The person who tagged you will have given you four words to find in your manuscript. Ctrl+F your document for instances of those words and share one (if there is more than one) of the lines where they appear. If you don't have the word, you can change it to something similar (for example, you can change giggle to laugh if you don't have giggle in your document) or you can just say you did not have the word and leave it blank. You'll need to pick for new words for the people you tag to find. Try to pick common words, but not too common. Everyone will have a bajillion "said" in their draft but will likely have only two or three "screamed". Pick a mix of nouns, adjectives, and verbs, and an adverb if you want to be spicy.
A few last things about tag game etiquette:
You are under no obligation to do any of the tags you've been tagged in. You are allowed to save them for a month from now, do them tomorrow, or just ignore them entirely. No one is holding you accountable to it.
When tagging someone, especially newer writeblrs, it is generally good etiquette to specify that they are under no pressure to do your tag. Something like "tagging (but no pressure)" is fine.
Generally try to make sure someone is open to tag games before you tag them. If you aren't sure, it is okay to tag them once to see what happens but if they don't respond assume no. Some people will specify in their bio or intro post if they like tag games. You can also make a post asking others to interact if they want to be tagged.
Make your own post to respond to the tag. Don't reblog the post that tagged you with your own response.
You can link to the post that tagged you by copying the post link and pasting it into yours. Press the three dots at the top of the post that tagged you and select "Copy Link". On your own post, select a word and press "Paste" or Ctrl+V. The word will be underlined. Anyone who presses it will be hyperlinked back to the other post, like this.
It is polite to like, reblog, and/or leave a comment on a post of the person that tagged you.
Put particularly long posts beneath a Read More.
You can tag as few or as many people as you would like, or you can leave an open tag for anyone who sees the post and wants to participate. You can also tag people and leave an open tag.
That's all Folks! And have fun with the tag games!!

For people who dont actually have blogs but just accounts and dashboard view pages. It really doesnt take very long to actually make a blog on the site
just go into your blog settings
Switch on “enable custom theme” and click “edit theme”
Use the default theme if you want. It’s easy to navigate and edit
Add some images on there to the header and the icon, and maybe and a title to fix things up real nice. Maybe play with the accent colors too
i’m gonna talk about adding links in your description and adding blog pages, still very easy but slightly more advanced customize type stuff, under the cut if anyone doesnt know how to do those but wants to
When you do your description, you can use HTML to give you more options than just straight text
my example text is: This is my blog! Feel free to send in gossip. Or anything at all. <br>
<a href="https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/gravityfalls/images/9/99/S1e17_shandra.png/revision/latest?cb=20130412121840">My Favorite Shandra Pic</a>
<br> is a line break, which is what lets me start a new line
<a href=“url”>Title</a> lets you link somewhere else from your blog, and displays whatever you put for “title” with a hyperlink.
the one i used just links to this
you’d get sent to it on the gravity falls wiki if you clicked that part of my description. You can link people wherever you want. Tags on your blog, your other social media, your Carrd, a certain catchy 80s youtube song. Whatever
-
You can also add pages to your blog when you scroll all the way down the options
You can give a page a url relating to your blog, and you can have a link to it show up on your page with the other standard links
So then whenever anyone clicked “FAQ” they would get linked to a newly created FAQ page.
Though you can also use it to redirect people to specific tags already on your blog
I do that on my blog with a few of my tags.
if you were to go on my blog and click “DRAWS” you’d get sent to “https://gin-juice-tonic.tumblr.com/tagged/Pbbth“, which is my art tag
In the editor it wont display your tag, it will just display whatever page you create (like below)
but in practice when you click the button on the blog it will take you to the tag you want

LOTR Newsletter update - this time final
Hi everyone!
Thank you very much for your patience as I figured out how to organise the rest of the newsletter this year. There will have to be changes, but I tried to make my solution as convenient for all of us as I could.
Long story short: we are still reading - with changes that I hope will be okay with you.
Long story long:
It seemed that TinyLetter was genuinely the last of its kind; after many hours of searching I have to say the platforms I found were either expensive, or the free plans were too small for the size of the newsletter, or they had many social features which made it impossible to keep the newsletter under the radar (believe me, I tried, and I failed).
To keep the newsletter going and keep it under the radar, I had to come to terms with the fact that without TinyLetter, it can't take the form of e-mails - so here's what I came up with.
I have set up a MEGA folder that's available to everyone who has this link. Inside it, there is the whole newsletter - September 15th to May 26th - as an .odt file, as a .pdf file, and most importantly as an .epub file, because I assume most of you are reading on your phones (if you don't already have an .epub reader, I use FBReader, and everything worked fine on my phone). At the beginning you'll find the whole table of contents with hyperlinks, so the navigation inside the document should be easy! Grab yourself a copy and keep reading from tomorrow on!
I am aware that not all of you will want to continue reading this way - and I'm sorry I couldn't continue the newsletter in the old way. I had tons of fun sending you all the e-mails, but TinyLetter closing forced me to try to find a different platform, and when I couldn't do that - a different way to continue. Ensuring everyone who wants to keep reading has means to do that was the priority here - I didn't want there to be any breaks. And with everyone having their own copy of the whole thing on their phone or computer I hope it isn't much less convenient than e-mails.
I hope you continue reading and talking about LOTR in the tag! I'm really going to miss sending e-mails, but I'm still here coordinating everything and talking about current entries and available if you want to contact me about anything.
BIG thank you to everyone who sent their support and advice over the past few days, it has been quite a frantic almost-week, and being able to talk and consult you here and on Discord helped a lot.

Most of the time, I don't bother talking about the hate and harassment I get, because I don't think haters deserve the attention. The person I'm gonna write about definitely doesn't deserve any, but they've started harassing others that I know of, not just me.
So this is basically a warning post for Jewish bloggers and bloggers who are allies to Jews, and a request for anyone who can, to report and block this person (if you want to warn other bloggers, then please consider a reblog, too). @staff, This is also for you, proof of a pattern of harassment and abuse. Please do something and protect your Jewish users and their allies.
They first commented here, denying the antisemitism of Hamas, with the url @grizzlyismyspiritanimal and they seem to change their url quite frequently. For now it's @fancowboy but expect that to change again. Since IDK if Tumblr will let the mention (@'ing their url) hyperlink to their blog, here's how you can check out what their current url is, so you can report and block them. Go to this post where they're tagged as @grizzlyismyspiritanimal and hover your mouse over their url, you'll see their blog pop up no matter what new url they changed to. Here's a screenshot of what that looks like:
Here's their first comment on my post, along with my reply. Tumblr arranges these comments with the oldest at the bottom, click to see the image better:
Of course they never provided a link sourcing their claim, instead they provided a link to an op ed, which was not written by anyone affiliated with Hamas. This link did not support their claim that "Hamas specifically stated," but that didn't stop them from ignoring the fact that they couldn't prove their claim. Next, they repeated an already refuted antisemitic conspiracy theory (and I linked them to a refuting source, which they just ignored), while using strawmen arguments (attacking statements I didn't make). Obviously, none of this addresses the point actually made in the post they were commenting on.
When I called them out on the antisemitism of their whole narrative, they pulled the "I can't be antisemitic, because I'm Jewish" line of defense, while also bragging in the same comment about not going the easy route by doing that:
I no longer believe people who say antisemitic things, and then use this defense, after several have been proven to have lied about being Jewish, but more importantly, and this is the point I made to @fancowboy, Jews are not immune to internalizing antisemitism, and repeating antisemitic narratives. But I was curious whether there was any sign of this person having any sense of a significant Jewish identity on their blog. When I went on there, one of the first posts I came acorss was an antisemitic one, claiming that Jews have stolen the Star of David from the Muslims... I know there are a lot of anti-Zionist Jews out there, and that many of them are very capable of saying antisemitic things, but I don't think even they would endorse this false claim.
What's ironic is that the post shares a screenshot from Wikipedia, which explicitly mentions that this Muslim kingdom that existed in the 13th century AD (roughly 700 years ago), adopted the six-pointed star, due to the Muslim belief that it was a symbol on the ring ("seal") of King Solomon, a Jewish king who lived about 3,000 years ago. In other words, this post literally points out that Muslims borrowed this symbol from Jews, not the other way around. And just for historical interest, the first archeological find of Jews using the Star of David is dated to the 6th century BC (around 2,600 years ago).
I pointed out to @grizzlyismyspiritanimal / @fancowboy that I no longer believe they're Jewish, because I don't believe any Jew would reblog this antisemitic lie. In response, not long after, this "I'm not a coward" and "you would've blocked me (aka fanatic)" person blocked me. Instead of addressing what I said, or taking responsibility for their wrongdoing, and deleting this antisemitic post. Our exchange started on Jan 5 IIRC, this post was reblogged by them on Jan 4, and as of Jan 25 it is still on their blog, as you can see here (post and current date highlighted in this screenshot):
A minute after they blocked me from the above blog, they commented on my pinned post with links to my fandom content from another blog, @verygardenerland and this comment made it clear that it was the same person. I made a mistake, I wanted my fandom space free from antisemitic harassment, so I deleted that comment, which means I don't have that piece of evidence that it's the same person, but I do have another bit of proof. Remember how this person claimed to be Jewish? This is how they presented it:
(again, using a strawmen, I never said all Muslims are terrorists, and never would, because it's simply not true, and if anyone made that claim to me, I would be correcting them)
Well, this is the VERY similar way @verygardenerland talked about their supposed Jewish identity, in a post they made solely to harass and DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) me:
Jews were almost completely ethnically cleansed from Muslim majority countries, so the likelihood of a random online stranger being a Jew from a Muslim country is generally incredibly low to almost non-existent, and two who just so happen to both harass me on my blog one minute apart is probably less statistically likely than winning the lottery.
It's poetic irony that the one comment the above post got from another blogger, is someone else also calling this person out on the antisemitism of what they're saying:
Gotta love the bonus misogyny with "bitch."
I'm also going to offer you this following antisemitic comment (which distorts the Holocaust, and refers to Jews insultingly as "the chosen ones"), which I also don't believe any person with an actual Jewish identity would make:
And here's also one of the last comments this person made from @fancowboy before blocking me on that blog and continuing from @verygardenerland. Just notice how we have the same antisemitic abuse themes from both of these blogs:
Once more, extra touch of misogyny with "that much of a pussy."
(I have to address the white phosphorus claim. There are 2 ways of using it in battle, one legal, the other's not. Israel stated that when using it, that's only in the legal way. There is no record to show the contrary. People just exploit the fact it's used, to pretend it's automatically illegal. But I accept this is an antisemitic libel against the Jewish state, that sadly some Jews might repeat. The rest is what makes me think this person isn't Jewish)
@verygardenerland noticed I write fandom meta, and harassed me on these posts. Here's one example:
Then they searched related tag/s, and proceeded to harass me by calling me names in comments they left on random posts from other fandom members. These are posts that had nothing to do with me. One of the people on whose post they were calling me a Nazi is someone I have never even spoken to. The OP deleted the harassing comment, but this time I did get a screenshot before that, so here it is, as an example:
Now, on top of all of the above, @verygardenerland also started stalking my main blog at the same time they made their first comment from this url, as well as my two back up blogs. One's last post was on Mar 2022, the other's on Apr 2021, so it's completely pointless to follow them, other than as an intimidation tactic:
And they sent me anon hate. The thing is, they made it explicitly clear through what they said and the language they used, that it's them. They sent more than one message, but the one I'll attach here was obviously meant to freak me out the most, because it falsely starts out as a fandom ask, and then transitions into abusive language, as well as telling me there's more blogs they're stalking me from, basically making it clear that even if I block this url, I'll still not be safe from their stalking and abuse:
From a certain point on, I told them that whenever they make a comment to me, all I'll do is just remind them repeatedly that they're an antisemite, which is exactly what I've kept to. That's when I even bothered to respond. I postponed blocking their second blog, 'coz I wanted to put this post together first. Now I'm done with them.
To wrap this up, here are some final screenshots of their antisemitic abuse, how they obsessively comment on my posts, or posts that in their mind are related to me, and how they have started directly addressing random people who are commenting on my posts, telling them not to talk to "it," meaning they're also using de-humanizing language when referring to me, and of course once more employing the DARVO tactic by accusing me of that which they're guilty of:
My activity feed yesterday:
And not just yesterday. Love the bonus hateful language towards those who are disabled...
And this is just one of their comments on a post simply mourning the death of Israeli soldiers, and putting it in the context of multi-generational Jewish trauma:
To summarize again, please:
report and block this person
reblog this post if you feel comfortable to, in order to warn others
@staff please do something to stop the abuse. Thank you in advance!

resident sasasap fan here to request more sasasap things! sasasap bathroom dialogue (particularly what happens the subsequent time you leave, does siffrin react the way they did to "the shoulder touch"? or does it not happen?) i've also seen a fellow sasasap fan mention a secret hunt in sasasap here: https://www.tumblr.com/naswoop/714405841373118464/isat-discord-squad-started-hunting-for-a-line-of i'm very curious about it (is it even real? how mysterious...) i hope the link doesn't kill the ask ;-; thanks for reading! and also thanks for doing the sasasap dialogues! i like that game :)
hyperlink for the curious
right on, reporting back! Looking at the post you linked and its tags, "#Group bonding activity: Playing tag with the ghost Sifs in the prologue", whatever group hunt was going on back when (despite being an og sasasap fan, i didnt join the discord until after isat's release), this does refer to the ghosts!
in which case, there is (if i count right), one ghost you can catch up to, and it does have multiple lines of dialogue! this is from the ghost in the same hallway as prologue claude:
as you may or may not be able to read, what the ghost changes by how often you catch it!
First time caught: (I hope that one day...)
Second time caught: (Isn't that true happiness?)
Third time caught: (I hope you get to rest soon.)
Fourth time caught: (Do you remember?)
Fifth time onwards: (Hahaha...)
Below the cut: conspiratorial rambling
This is SUPER interesting because the head housemaiden does NOT appear in sasasap at all, so this quote is actually referring to the third comic! The "something's breaking, something's failing, rotting" is a fascinating fragment as it is copied word for word from the third comic to isat. So like, how does this Siffrin know this.... Prologue Frin has never heard it before.... We see how prologue frin sees the ghosts through the third Sadness death
(Sometimes, when you loop back here....) (In the corner of your eye, you can sometimes see someone that looks just like you.) (Is it a you from another loop? Remnants of your past failures?) (Are you going crazy?) (May they succeed where you cannot.)
But.... Seeing as prologue frin has never heard that, i wonder if this means the ghosts represent comic siffrin instead? All of the ghosts in isat don't have text, you can't catch them, but i do wonder if they're meant to represent prologue siffrin instead,,,, that all of them are different siffrins appearing to one another as they become more alike...
notably, isat siffrin does actually think differently of them!
Loop (hm1): ...An image of yourself, walking around the House... Loop (lol4): Maybe they're... Reflections? Remnants of your past loops? I wouldn't know. ("Remnants"?) (Odile uses the same word to describe the Sadnesses...) Siffrin (hide1): "Could it be a Sadness?" Loop (lol5): Ha! You see a copy of you walking around, and you assume it's a Sadness? Loop (happy1): Are you sad, stardust? Loop (hm1): I'm gonna go ahead and say they're linked to your loops. Loop (teehee1): If they are, you might see them more and more as you loop through time...
Loop still calls them remnants, and Siffrin is just. Saying that's a Sadness. This is pretty obvious foreshadowing to MDP with the steel chair in act 5, but you gotta wonder....
The "remnants of your past failures" works out well considering that the sasasap ghosts only start showing up after you've getting a normal ending, meaning the minimum where the game can be sure that you've seen siffrin die before.
I also do find it notable that the ghosts just start laughing at you if you catch them more than five times. By that time, they know you're here to stay, another ghost, just like them <3
anyways. yeah! that's the sasasap ghosts! unused dialogue is pretty hard to actually identify as unused (i didnt figure out one king convo in isat is unused until like, last month) because the main way you figure out that they are is by knowing their conditions are impossible to achieve or by finding them in a place that's inaccessible.
this applies to the raisins convo, as that is on a test page! you'll never see raisins in game, and it's also unfinished because it doesnt have any character portraits. otherwise it really is just "okay so switch 192 that enables this conversation actually never gets flipped in the whole game so you will never see this"
thanks to Issue on discord i do have an actual list of unused switches and variables now (it's impossible to get this data from just rpgmaker itself lmao) so that should occur. less frequently? otherwise i kinda just go by my insane game knowledge to figure out where switches get flipped by hand. that's why i have spreadsheets for this shit.
what am i talking about. um
i hope this answers your question?
#Feli gets asked#isat#sasasap#isat spoilers#sasasap spoilers#YEAH I'M MAIN TAGGING THIS OK#so anon. you may now know. that this blog is run by ''6k words isat essay'' guy#and you may get an inkling on how that came to be 6k words. i'm not sorry. yay
