For today's DMSP AU, Imma talk about my Fullmetal Alchemist DSMP AU, one of my many AU mash-ups! Here we go!

Obviously, this is heavily based on Fullmetal Alchemist(The original manga plot and the FMA: Brotherhood series btw) so here are some of the roles the characters have:

Tommy - Edward Elric: They both have similar personalities but one is tall while the other is made fun of for being short which is hilarious in my opinion :) Also, Tommy joined the military when he was 12-14 and he's currently 16.

Ranboo - Alphonse Elric: I had to think about this one a lot since Tommy and Ranboo wouldn't be blood brothers like in the original and Ranboo would not be a suit of armor. Ranboo is the adopted brother of Tommy and they're still really close. Ranboo's soul was transferred into a sort of large organic doll/chimera that was the experiment of Phil(who takes the place of Von Hohenheim, I'll get to him in a bit). It's basically a lot like C! Ranboo's body but it's incredible durable/has tough skin(as in bulletproof), can't digest food(the body will reject and Ranboo would end up having to spit it out), can't sleep, and can't feel anything(he can hear, see, and smell, but not taste, feel pain/feel anything physical). His original body is basically Ranboo in real life but younger. The body Ranboo's soul is in has a lot of complexities to it that will be explained for another time.

Tubbo - Winry: He's an automail mechanic, it suits him. He also won't hesitate to clonk Tommy's head with a wrench if Tommy gets careless with his automail. He's surprisingly strong(as in probably being able to pick Tommy up and throw him) and hates feeling powerless despite always being left powerless.

Phil - Von Hohenheim: Still immortal and still left his family. Tommy doesn't like Phil because he left them but Ranboo feels more neutral about Phil. Basically like in the original FMA. Phil's wife is, of course, Kristin(RIP). He also doesn't have wings. Idk what else to say for Phil, he's really similar to C! Phil and Von Hohenheim.

Wilbur(not related to cc! Wilbur) - Roy Mustang: It just fits so well in my brain. His title is the Dynamite Alchemist and yes, he is sane. He's a lot like L'manberg era Wilbur but much less naive since he's seen what war is. ALSO, his uniform is extremely similar to the L'manberg military uniform in C! DSMP(but without the hat), I just really like that idea :)))) He and Tommy have a similar relationship as Ed and Roy in FMA but if you added more friendship and fondness because I love Crimeboys in AUs and DSMP :]

Techno - Scar: I debated VERY HARD on this one between Techno taking the role of Scar or General Armstrong/Olivier Armstrong because both fit so well for me. In the end, I decided on Scar but with a different backstory. Techno is a piglin hybrid because I added hybrid races to this world. So far, there are Enderians(I'll talk about them more in another post) and Piglins but there might be more. Techno is an anarchist still and he's very strong and good in combat. I still haven't figured out how he'll gain the destructive alchemy ability but I know that at some point, he'll be able to do more reconstruction, even being able to change the physical appearance of a person(that'll be elaborated on later). Techno did not kill Tubbo's parents btw, so Tommy doesn't have as much anger towards him besides the fact he keeps trying to kill state alchemists and succeeding most of the time. When Tommy and Techno had to work together, they had some surprisingly nice joking moments but it still took a while for Tommy to be comfortable around him since, y'know, Techno tried killing him on several occasions. I think he'll still have the voices which will be a major part of his backstory that I'm still piecing together.

assigning dsmp characters magnus archives entities <3 are these the entities they're avatars of or the entities they would get killed by? you decide <3 (def not all the characters just whichever pop into my head it's almost midnight gimme a break)

Tommy- Lonely or Vast whichever is more heartwrenchingly terrible in the moment. Lonely bc exile and Vast bc of the tower

Ranboo- Eye!!!!! silly haha reason: eyes of ender and heterochromia, ACTUAL reason: he just wants to know what's going on with the enderwalk man he wants to know and they've got the experiments they're gaining knowledge but at the cost of themself he's so Eye coded ouadfgiahgf (could also be Stranger bc he is a mystery even to himself and also they are half mystery creature)

Tubbo- Desolation. Nukes. making sure he and his loved ones stay safe by destroying literally anything that comes near them <3 also like the cold war vibes of snowchester and the constant overhanging threat of annihilation <3

Technoblade- Slaughter, i kinda feel like this needs no explanation

Phil- End, again no explanation needed that's literally his wife

Wilbur- End, Desolation, Slaughter, Spiral? idk take ur pick I think Spiral is especially fun but not exactly in character. End and Desolation are probably the most in character. Slaughter bc music symbolism

Dream- Web, this one also feels obvious. Could also be Stranger but that's just cuz that iconic smiley face feels kinda Stranger-y

Badboyhalo- CORRUPTION!!!!! ouughghg eggpire arc my beloved <3

Fundy- Spiral? mayhaps? anyone else remember his nightmares those were sick as fuck and like he could tell the future or something and that was passed down to him from Sally anyone remember that?

Sapnap- Desolation. He's a fire dude

George- Corruption. cuz of the mushrooms I think. Maybe Spiral cuz he couldn't tell if he was asleep or awake during that whole XD thing

Quackity- Flesh, he ate that heart that one time that was freaky also I'm still thinkin about the butcher arc sorry las nevadas fans. But also dude was so scared of being prey to someone else's whims and plans that he became the hunter so maybe he's the Hunt or the Web

Karl- Spiral bc of the forgetting <3 maybe there's another one that fits better but the aesthetic of Spiral fits him so well

Literally everyone in the Eggpire- Corruption!!! i can't remember all of em but Hannah and Antfrost were definitely there

Foolish- End. cuz he's a totem of undying and also he was like super afraid of dying

Sam- Buried. Put his ass in the prison lmao

Schlatt- Corruption. There's probably one that fits better but when you think about his declining health and also that it's a joke about him being a corrupt politician I think it works

Niki and Jack- Hunt because they were trying to kill Tommy lol there are probably better ones for both of them. Niki could be Lonely or Desolation and Jack could also be Desolation

Michael McChill- Eye. I didn't pay that close attention to his lore but. Didn't he try to make a record of the entire dmsp lore or try to understand it or something. C!McChill fans what was he doing

Eret- Hunt or Slaughter for the final control room but then she gets kinda Eye coded when she makes the museum. End would be sick as hell but I cannot think of a single basis in the story for this. Maybe Buried for the final control room thing too bc it was a small space but that feels like a stretch

i definitely missed a few characters in there so if anyone has ideas for them feel free to voice them. What did I learn from this? No one on the dsmp was afraid of the dark that's what I fucking learned not a single Dark avatar on there.

Look you can disagree this is a personal opinion born by my experience in dsmp fandom here on Tumblr

Like don't get me wrong i like the cc, but i am still burned by the collective protagonist tendencies that part of the dsmp fandom displayed, there were times when the characters weren't involved in something someone else had prepared the characters HAD to be forced there to make people care either in canon or headcanons that take over (IT'S NOT just the egg arc but that i admit it's when it did get extremely frustrating)

And the streamers put in their qsmp characters mentions to dmsp lore (like Kristin is Phil wife and Wilbur is his son and skeppyjr canonically existing) AND I REALLY DON'T WANT TO RE-OPEN tommy and ranboo lore (look i really don't wanna be mean but i have strong feelings about both of them and they borderline into the negative emotions)

- each night, specifically at 3am, quackity finds slime eating burgers, uncooked pasta and chocolate in the casino kitchen.

- every slimecicle is a version of either an orange cat or a ferret.

- originsmp and dsmp enjoy eating, a LOT. they are the reasons people have to go get the groceries every day.

- godcicle, the god of food, is the first guy the two slimes go to when they are hungry.

- ranboo always finds slime eating a big amount of cookies and has to pick the slime up and bring it back to quackity, each time, he says "here's you goober back." With a slime with cookies stuffed in his mouth.

- if mr.cylce could, he would be an alcoholic.

- 100days has tried drugs before (canon) and would do it again.

- epicsmp enjoys cooking, he just sucks ASS at it. Godcicle on the contrary, does not like cooking most of the time, but he's literally the god of it.

- sometimes all of the slimecicle switch server for shit and giggles.

Godcicle always gets the dreamsmp, and he enjoy messing with the members of Las Nevadas with his shenanigans.

- the only one who does not have a chat, is dsmp and originsmp! Because they are not players!

The rest has their own version of the chat.

Godcicle has the slimes, epicsmp has the voices, 100days has letters from various peoples he does not know how he keeps getting them and mr.cycle has a radio for 'em :]

- dsmp is the guy who would use uwu and :3 unironically and no one would shame him for that.

- each slimecicle is completely aware that they are just characters in a videogame, getting recorded by someone and getting seen by lots of people.

and they know those people are the chat, but nobody believes them, so whenever they break the fourth wall, everyone thinks they are crazy!

- epicsmp is seen as schizophrenic because he talks to "himself", (in the streams of the first epicsmp, he did actually spoke a lot to the chat when alone.) But nobody has the heart to tell him. They just pretend they don't hear him talk to a "chat".

But he's not schizophrenic, just silly if you will. (Not joking he ain't schizophrenic.)

- godcicle knows about the slimecicle and slmccl channel, so do the others. They know more than they should.

- each slimecicle has their own Jschlatt, and most times they don't end up well,

Except for origin and dsmp, they enjoy a lot their Jschlatt, they are friends :3

- epicsmp thinks that hairless cats are really cute. He loves those bitches.

Especially because they don't trigger his allergy to cats.

Well, most of the time.

Even if he gets an allergic reaction he'll still keep the cat around.

- Mr.cycle meows randomly. Yes. Yes he does. MIAU.

- godcicle is a black cat, the rest are just either golden cats or golden retrievers.

- godcicle likes to chill and sleep, the rest likes to jump on him.
