Queen Latifah - All Hail the Queen (07/11/1989)

All Hail the Queen es el álbum debut de la artista Queen Latifah. El álbum fue lanzado hoy 7 de noviembre de 1989 aunque algunas fuentes lo datan del 28 de noviembre de 1989 a través de Tommy Boy Records. El himno feminista, "Ladies First" con Monie Love sigue siendo una de las canciones emblemáticas de Latifah.

All Hail the Queen alcanzó su punto máximo en el no. 6 en la lista Billboard Top Hip Hop/R&B Albums y en el no. 124 en la lista Billboard 200. "Wrath of My Madness" fue el primer sencillo de All Hail the Queen, y luego se incluyó en "You Can't Play With My Yo-Yo" de Yo-Yo. Su otro sencillo "Mama Gave Birth to the Soul Children" alcanzó su punto máximo en el no. 14 en el Reino Unido. En 2008, el sencillo "Ladies First" ocupó el puesto 35 en las 100 mejores canciones de hip hop de VH1.
