DJ Chris Nathan joined in 1990, at a time when the show had a "quiet storm" vibe and was still balancing its hip-hop content with the regional climate. Eventually, Nathan took over, leading the show for nearly three decades. By 2018, The Eclipse Show had celebrated 40 years, marking it as one of the longest-running hip-hop radio programs worldwide, and it remains on air today as a key part of KGNU’s programming and Colorado’s hip-hop legacy.
