top of my list: ghost stories. i cannot stand martin freeman and yet i have suffered through this movie multiple times regardless. andy nyman and jeremy dyson are two of my favourite people in this whole world. jeremy dyson has a cameo playing the dj at andy nyman's bat mitzvah in the beginning of the film and it made me SQUEAL in the cinema lol

"A Bite At Freddy's Thumbnail" This is the thumbnail for my playthrough of the FNAF fan game, A Bite At Freddy's.

"Bois And DJs" I have an AU/OU(Alternate Universe/ Original Universe) called WarScream, a massive crossover AU i have been working on since 2019. Here we have my versions of Duke from Duke Nukem, Pinnhead from Hellraiser, Daft Punk's Guy Manuel, and Marshmello.

"Chibi Kate And James" These are chibified versions of these characters that represent me and my boyfriend James.

"Two Himbos, One Nightguard" Am i a simp? Yes, if this happened to me irl would i enjoy it? YES! But i doubt this will ever happen in real life so instead of being upset that this will never happen irl, i just decided to draw it.

"V For Vengeance" This is a comic series that has three planned entries and will be about V, a man(Or ball) who must avenge his family after his baby was killed and his wife was kidnapped by a cult that caused the death of his baby. I actually posted this on another blog...But because i have decided to just stick with one big blog, you will eb seeing this content here!

"T3M TV Logo" T3M TV is a project of mine that will be a combination of different series i have on my channel(T3M Productions).

"T3M Productions Christmas Special" This will be a part of a Christmas 2023 merch line for my Youtube channel(Here is the store if you're interested ^^). And to explain the lore this has for my Youtube channel(Yes, my Youtube channel dose in fact lore), basically Kate and the others have spent all of November and most of December working on a massive Christmas special with 200+ hours of content!

"Springtrap And His Family" So in my AU, Springtrap is not only trans male, but is also hecking chonky! And Clowntrap and Toxic Springtrap are two alternate personalities. Spring Bonnie is Springtrap's adoptive son, and the one who is blushing a lot is Springtrap's husband Fiv(This is a version of Fiv, a character that belongs to one of my best friends, @facadesinternalveil).

"Sociallly Rejected Pizza Plex Logo" SRPP(Aka, Socially Rejected Pizza Plex) is my animation brand and this is the logo you will see at the end of all of my animations. The two characters here are Rixanne and Pixel Kate, two trans bisexual animatronics who love each other.

"Shiz'N'Shank Save Christmas" Shiz and Shank are two characters that originate from a Tik Tok account of mine and eventually showed up on my main channel during The Plush Kate Arc(Will explain that in a different post), They are both puppets in my main channel, with Shiz being bought from a store called Island Style and Shank being found half berried in some sand.

Originally the two were frenemies but eventually became lovers! I plan on expanding their story more with comics and maybe even a animated series down the line, who knows.

"Radioactive Foxy" Now you may look at this and be thinking Kate what the actual fuck is that?! , and to explain, because i wanted to. I wanted to give Radioactive Foxy a bizarre design(And also to clarify my version of Foxy is trans female and Radioactive Foxy is one of Foxy's forms). Besides, me and normal have been divorced since i turned 13.

"Lupin Blue And Patra Pink" Now i haven't really watched that much Super Sentai in a bit, mostly because i have had some burnout with Kingohger and how fast it feels like the story went for that show and how early certain things have shown up in the show. But i have decided to post this art of my versions of Lupin Blue and Patra Pink from Lupin Ranger Vs Patra Ranger.

"Kitana" It's Kitana and one of my friends(Who doesn't have a tumblr yet) is a massive simp for them.

"Ghostface Power Up Forms" One of the things i like to do is give characters these fun or crazy or wacky power up forms. So here we have Ghostface and three of his power up forms. Metal Ghostface makes Ghostface fire proof and gives him these two flamethrowers and a flamethrower knife thing(This form is based off of a scene in a Stab movie in Scream 2022(Aka, Scream 5) ). Next is Space Quartz Ghostface, this let's Ghostface breathe in space and fly really fast!

And finally there is Galactic Lion Ghostface. Ok, so this requires me to explain my version of Ghostface. My version is a man named Sharely King, he was the baby of a space god and was adopted into the Kruger house hold when Freddy's dad found him in a Forrest. Years later. Ghostface would gain The Galactic Lion Driver, a device that gives Ghostface the power he would've had if he was never sent to earth.

This power up gives Ghostface the ability to:

Fly

Levitate

Run at lightspeed

Create blackholes with his claws

Can make the planets align so he can use a devastating attack called The Solar Blast

Can turn into a lion made out of stars and space itself that has a blackhole stomach

Gives him access to a giant mecha ship called Don Lio(Note he dose not have to have the power up active to summon Don Lio)

Can summon a giant mecha clone of himself called Obake no kao(Which is Ghostface in Japanese)(And this mecha requires the power up to be active)

Can summon a thing called a Planet Clone(He has a total of 9 of these) that can assist him in battle

And if you think that makes Ghostface the most powerful character in my AU...Welllllllll just you wait(Because he ain't the only brokenly over powered one in WarScream).

"Funtime Freddy Simp" Look i know the man is canonically a sadist who kills kids, but that's because of his programing. Poor boi just wants to entertain people but instead he gets reprogrammed to kill. So if you just removed that coding, he would go back to being a nice friendly boi who would give lots of hugs and cuddles!

And as we see, Funtime Freddy has taken a liking to my OC because of her seemingly being part Funtime Foxy.

"Fredbear(W/O Suit)" In my AU, Fredbear is this mecha armor being piloted by a man named Kung Jin(Note that he is never called this and is called Fredbear because any trace of his old name is erased). Kung is this armored man with no memories of his past, and he seems to be happy about that. So whenever Fredbear needs to be faster or fight better, he comes out of the mecha suit(His transformation goes like this).

"FivTrap(Redesign)" The original version of FivTrap was just a combination of Fiv and Springtrap. But i decided to give it a redesign and add in Clowntrap, Toxic Springtrap, and Spring Bonnie into the mix, so that means this combination is bassically the power of one family coming together!

"Final Spartan Sheets" Just some spartan OCs.

"Engineers Little Helpers" Engineer has two little helpers in the form of Helpy and Fixy. Helpy and Fixy are partners and help Engineer with repairs and even can be used as a power source for Engineers weapon, The Fixer Upper.

I'm genuinely grateful that I get to look forward to Unknown Pleasures every month now, it's worth every minute of the drive from Nashville - I'm on my laptop so I can't use emojis, but imagine all the sappy ones right here, because you're all gorgeous.

I'll be joined by DJ THEOCULTT for our extra-cyberpunk event next month, and I'm stoked to finally be in town for their set (I've seen them go hard when I've played some of my own personal top-tier favs - this always warms my heart). Also, Ariel is coming back with an experimental piece combining her live performance with a music-video-style VHS piece my friend Julia and I shot with her (sounds complicated but I promise it's fun)... AND we've got CRT from Atlanta playing a sick live industrial/body set. Be sure to check out CRT's label, DKA Records - they're based in Atlanta, but they put out great electronic music from all over the world, and you'll almost certainly find something interesting (like FUEDAL, whose track "Movin" you heard on Thursday).

One last thing: R.I.P. Luis Vasquez, Juan Mendez, and Simone Ling. They were massive losses to music, gone for tragic reasons. Do your thing, but please be safe and carry naloxone. DIY music is in dire straits, and we can't afford to lose any more of the beautiful, sensitive people who keep it going - there's work to do and shows to see.

HELLRAISERS, Part 1 (LP) by Cheat Codes

Multi-platinum electronic trio Cheat Codes release debut album HELLRAISERS, Part 1 which includes three brand new songs including lead single, “Lean On Me” featuring Tinashe.

In an Instagram post announcing the release of the album KEVI, Trevor and Matthew of the group dedicate the album,“to anyone who’s ever supported us the past 6 years, thank you all so so much. It’s all been leading up to this point” before finishing with “we fuckin love you.”

The eleven song project finds the group navigating through their signature sound of electronic pop through fresh and exciting ways. From the elated “On My Life” to edgier pop songs like the Bryce Vine supported “Stay” to the playful “No Chill” featuring former labelmate Lil Xxel the album is a successful experiment on their established sound.

The album is the first of three in the HELLRAISERS series. This first release is dripping with the upbeat pop sound they’ve been known for with the second album focusing on more hip-hop and emo leaning. The final album will be an ode to a more classic dance music with minimal lyrics and a focus on synths and bass.

ezekiel - he fucking hates horror movies. if he ever watched one he would be hyperventilating the entire time. annabelle bc he likes the name annabelle and he also likes dolls

noah - this bitch loves scary movies but mostly for the camp aspect of them. freddy krueger but especially in a nightmare on elm street 2

justin - no, he hates horror movies bc they make him scream and he's not pretty when he screams. patrick bateman and he follows the routine he lays out in the beginning sometimes

katie - she doesn't watch horror movies that often but when she does she's like, ok with them, better than sadie at least. she doesn't have a specific favorite villain, she'd probably say jason voorhees since it's the first one she remembers

sadie - similar to katie but not as good with horror movies. also jason since it's the first one she remembers

courtney - is surprisingly into horror movies all things considered. she really likes hannibal lecter, moreso in the TV show but she also likes silence of the lambs

harold - he's basically like randy from scream irl, but he isn't as good with scares as randy is. he really likes ghostface but only the original bc he fucking hates sequels

eva - likes horror movies but doesn't watch them that often, has a near unbreakable stone demeanor. she likes the deadites from the evil dead movies but controversially she likes the 2013 requel more than the originals bc it's a more straightforward horror movie

trent - he will watch a horror movie with you but he will not enjoy it. he thinks he likes the alien movies the most though

lindsay - she is also surprisingly into horror all things considered. her favorite villain is leatherface, she thinks she could fix him

dj - there is a whole episode dedicated to how scared he gets about anything horror related. he doesn't have a favorite bc he's scared

izzy - izzy LOVES scary movies! her favorite villain is all of them. she points at the horror movie killer and says "they just like me fr"

geoff - his mellow is also harshed. "whatever bridgette said"

leshawna - she doesn't watch many horror movies but she's not bad with them. she likes the cenobites from the hellraiser movies mostly bc of their designs

duncan - will judge you based on your tastes in scary movies. really likes chucky but will not entertain any of the queer themes (fanon duncan would though)

heather - it's basically canon that she's a saw superfan. obviously her favorite horror villain is jigsaw. she also ships so many of the gay fucked up relationships in the saw franchise

gwen - will also judge you based on your tastes in scary movies. unironically thinks the babadook is a gay icon. her favorite is candyman tho

owen - does not like scary movies because they're scary. michael myers is his favorite bc he's one of the few horror movie mainstays he finds he can handle

sierra - does not like scary movies with some exceptions. she does however really like stephen king's misery and thinks annie is the scariest villain she's seen. she also likes the predator movies

alejandro - honestly he doesn't actively seek out horror movies but he will watch them. he doesn't have a particular favorite, he just rly likes some of the lesser known villains

14 Horror References in Rick and Morty Season 5

Pop culture references are baked into Rick and Morty’s DNA. The Adult Swim animated series originated as a short parody of Back to the Future, after all, and creators Dan Harmon (Community) and Justin Roiland (Solar Opposites) have infused every episode since its 2013 debut with nods to movies, TV, and more.

Rick and Morty's fifth season continues the trend. Here are 14 horror (and genre-adjacent) references that you may have missed, ranging from subtle to overt.

1. Blade in “Mort Dinner Rick Andre”

In the cold open of the season premiere, Morty carries Rick past a crystal showing them dressed as Marvel character Blade and killing vampires. As Rick eloquently puts it, "Were we blades in that one? That's fucking tight." Bonus points for including the DJ.

2. Psycho in “Mort Dinner Rick Andre”

The reveal of Hoovy's wife's skeleton in the Narnia Dimension echoes the reveal of Norma Bates' corpse in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.

3. The Terminator in “Mortyplicity”

In the fictitious show When Wolf, the werewolf's method of time travel is based on that of The Terminator. Upon his arrival, he fights Dracula. Now there’s a show I’d watch.

4. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre in “Mortyplicity”

Among the many decoy families Rick created is one reminiscent of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Rick wears a skin mask resembling Leatherface.

5. C.H.U.D. in "Rickdependence Spray"

Rick battles a race known as the Chuds, an obvious send-up to C.H.U.D. In the '80s horror cult classic, it's an acronym for cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers; in Rick and Morty, they are cannibalistic, underground-dwelling horse-people.

6. 2001: A Space Odyssey in "Rickdependence Spray"

The post-credit scene revealing Morty's "child" is a reference to the iconic shot of the fetus at the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey, complete with Richard Strauss' "Also Sprach Zarathustra," prominently featured in the film. (A similar gag is repeated three episodes later in "Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion.")

7. Hellraiser in "Amortycan Grickfitti"

The Hell demons prominently featured in the episode are obvious parodies of the Cenobites from the Hellraiser franchise, down to the evil cube that summons them. Instead of Pinhead, the leader is Penhead.

8. Jurassic Park in "Amortycan Grickfitti"

Rick puts a lock on the garage door inspired by Dennis Nedry's computer virus in Jurassic Park. As he explains, "I just watched Jurassic park on cable. So good." Can’t argue that.

9. Annihilation in "Rick & Morty's Thanksploitation Spectacular"

The government surrounds the Smith's house with an "anti-portal shimmer" similar to the shimmer in Annihilation. No sign of any mutant bears though.

10. Predator and Aliens in "Rick & Morty's Thanksploitation Spectacular"

This episode has several allusions to the Predator and Alien franchises, most notably an alien pilgrim directly stating he got a rifle from a Predator, the Turkey President blowing himself up like the end of Predator, and the President saying "Stay Frosty," a memorable line from Aliens.

11. Voltron in "Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion"

Much of this episode pays homage to anime, particularly Voltron (and its Japanese counterpart Beast King GoLion). While that in and of itself may not be a horror connection, the kaiju carnage that ensues is enough to please any monster kid.

12. Re-Animator in "Forgetting Sarick Mortshall"

Upon learning empathy from - and then promptly firing - his two crow companions, Rick tells them, "If I wanted another bleeding heart, I'd inject Re-Animator serum into an actual bleeding heart."

13. The Dark Crystal in "Forgetting Sarick Mortshall"

Upon boarding the alien crows' spaceship, Rick says, "Cool place you got here. Very Dark Crystal meets Hot Topic." Coincidentally, that’s exactly how I describe my aesthetic.

14. Blade Runner in "Rickmurai Jack"

Rick's flashback depicts him in a cyberpunk city eating noodles clad in a brown coat, echoing the introduction of Rick Deckard in Blade Runner. A Vangelis-esque synth cue even plays over the sequence.
