Ya know something I can now completely understand why Rohan gets absolutely livid at the thought of Josuke like if some teenage punk scammed me out of my money, set my house on fire and I had to pay like 20 million yen just to fix my house due to the damages caused by said teenage punk I too would fucking hate them for the rest of my life shshshsgsgsgsgd

Diamond is Unbreakable Final Thoughts
Finished Diamond is Unbreakable and it’s the best part so far. The pacing was good and apart from a few episodes they were all enjoyable and I’d watch it again. I really liked Josuke. He was such a sweetheart, but also had that mischievous dumbass energy that rounded him out well. He’s like the perfect combination of Johnathan and Joseph. He was a fun protagonist to follow and I liked his friends and the camaraderie between them all.
Oh and Jotaro!!! Just….part 4 Jotaro has my heart like nothing else. He was in it just the right amount without it feeling like he was stealing the spotlight from Josuke. And I LOVE how much he’s matured since we last saw him. He’s still his stoic self but it’s more of a contemplative silence he gives off then the sullen silence he had as a teen. You can just tell how intellectual Jotaro is and he’s so confident in his words. Can you tell I’m in love? I also liked how he was a mentor to Josuke, but also let Josuke lead when he needed to. He was a nice presence to have around. And my siblings told me I’m basic as hell for this but I’ll say it anyways: Jotaro is my favorite JoJo.
A new character I started out not liking but came to is Rohan. What a weird ass introduction to the guy, but to be fair a lot of the characters introduced in part 4 were antagonists turned friends. I liked that he was snippy and like a anime Squidward at times. He’s all about his craft and his dislike of Josuke was humorous.
I haven’t seen, nor do I know anything about it part 5 on, but I’m going to confidently say that Kira is thee most terrifying JoJo villain yet. Because his type of evil is so very real. You won’t find a murderous vampire trying to take over the world or godlike beings wanting to dominate humanity, but a mundane man who wants to murder women for his own sick pleasure….yeah. That was horrifying. Especially the way he was so fixated on hands. Combine that his stand and he gave me chills. Also this is so thirsty of me to say but out of all the men in JoJo we could see naked and ITS KIRA?! Are you kidding me? I felt like they wanted us to be simping for Kira. Obviously the context in which we saw him naked wasn’t sexual but it still made me uncomfortable. Over all I liked how he was defeated. Even if he ruined me looking at the Mona Lisa ever again.
I’m looking forward to part 5. I know nothing going into it except Giorno is the son of Dio/Johnathan. Also it takes place in Italy.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Analog Horror Series Master Thread [2024]
Links to all of them, and a summary (if needed). I’ll be as spoiler-free as I can be. I’m so intrigued that the fandom is really doing this. We need more JJBA analog horrors please lmaoo.
* Stand Users by Dipka06 [One-Shot]
It’s a breakdown about Stand Users
* Junius B [Series]
The first JJBA Analog Horror. Follows an Passione hitman named D3. Set in the mid-2020s, it’s in the Irene-verse. Discusses a lot of darker subject matters like trauma, gang violence, abuse, etc. Mostly all original characters too so it’s not a re-telling prior Parts. Nice to watch an analog horror where the protagonist is an actual bad person.
* Yoshikage Kira by Vani [Series]
It’s an analog horror recounting of Yoshikage Kira. I like the harsh black-and-white aesthetic. Short and sweet, wish there was more. Only real gripe is that they used a photo of David Bowie for Yoshikage Kira and a screenshot from the DiU live action film. Other that, it’s cool.
* Morioh Cho Archive [Series]
This one was on break but it’s back now with a new style. I like the mix of 3D models and analog horror aesthetics, you know the VHS shit. I remember when this one dropped so I’m glad the creator decided to continue it, along with upping the art. It has an original cast too.
* Speedwagon Foundation Informative Tape Lost Video 4-18-1999 [One Shot]
It’s an video about the Speedwagon Foundation’s internal workings. Really nice editing. Not going to say much because it’s short.
* SPEEDWAGON FOUNDATION [Series]
A small handful of videos about a few iconic villains. It reminds me of the Yoshikage Kira series from Vani but with more variation on who’s focused on. All of the videos are pretty short too, so you can watch them all in one sitting.
* Time is Accelerating [One Shot]
The only Stone Ocean analog horror I’ve seen so far. Props to them for going this route, I won’t spoil what it’s about.
* LuckilyQuick [Series]
One of the newer series, it’s a collection of one-shots that are set in Diamond is Unbreakable. Both videos are under a minute long so I won’t go too in-depth to avoid spoilers.

old art but ????? just realized I NEVER posted my nitw diu au????? Spoilers for night in the woods but WOW
Anyways ummm Josuke leaving morioh for college, has a Not Fun time, and comes home seeking comfort only to find a fading town with waning employment rates and tourism profits (and a dark underbelly featuring a cult sacrificing the "worthless" residents to stop the decay).
What if morioh was an even more fucked up small town. What if Josuke was the embodiment of preservation and restoration in a world destined to die. What if he was put through the existential dread wringer, had his ability to love and hold compassion put to the highest test. What if he slowly learned to see his fear of loss as a strength, didn't let it control him, but let it fuel his drive to cherish everyone around him, enjoy every single moment he has with them. What if he committed aggravated assault.

Note
Adding onto this hypothetical "If Bf was in the Jojo-verse" idea:
He awakened Rad God after accidentally stabbing himself with a Stand Arrow that Polercareff left lying around in Morioh
Before Bf's stand was awakened, his hair and eyes were brown; however after it manifested, they permanently turned cyan blue (this is a reference to how Giorno's hair turned blonde after Gold Experience awakened)
Rap God would have the same stats and powers as Crazy Diamond (minus its healing powers), with the added bonus of being a sentient stand; he would also use he/it's pronouns cuz I think stands that use gendered pronouns are depressingly underrated
Appearance wise, Rap God would look either look like a Star Platinum-ized version of Soul Bf or Cosmic Bf from Super Mario Funkin' minus his demon features (horns, tail, etc)
It's stand cry would be "Fanki" (Japanese word for Funky)
It's punches sound like bass boosted record scratches
Bf would be besto friendos with Josuke and Okuyasu (he hangs out with them after the events of DIU)
Bf would join the Crusaders during their trip to Egypt cuz he thinks that DIO's a Twilight vampire who's "moody" and "emo" like Edward Cullen (spoiler warning: he's not)
Bf's the only person besides Kakyoin to remember the Mannish Boy/Death 13 arc cuz he was smart enough to activate Rap God before falling asleep; he only told Kakyoin that he knew about his experiences in Death 13's world before the final battle against DIO and The World
Bf would survive the universal reset thanks to the power of himbo
Bf likes to playfully poke fun at Josuke's hair (he doesn't get pummelled into hamburger meat cuz Josuke knows that he isn't intentionally insulting his pomp)
If Gf was present, she would stay in her demon form 24/7 like most of my Gf AU variants, Bf would know that she and her parents are demons, and they would join Jodio's gang mid-way through The Jojolands solely for the purpose of snorting LSD, crack cocaine and other assorted drugs

What Makes Jotaro Kujo The Most Powerful Stand User
Sorta. Arguably he’s beaten out (with good reason) by GER Giorno and Johnny’s Act 4 Tusk in terms of power, but in-universe he’s considered to be the world’s most powerful Stand user both by characters within the text treating him as such and the overall narrative.
Tumblr media
Case shut, post over it seems, but let’s dig a little deeper into the why… besides being the main character.
The above screenshot frames Jotaro as the most powerful Stand user, but he doesn’t even have the most powerful version of his Stand in Diamond is Unbreakable (it’s actually the weakest). The Stand stats page for Stone Ocean’s Star Platinum reveals that the most powerful version of Jotaro is “when Jotaro was in his prime (18 years old).”
Tumblr media
Narratively, the most powerful Stand user is Jotaro at the very tail end of Stardust Crusaders, after he has gained Time Stop. This is his prime. Another way to pop the bubble on my own analysis here is point out that canon focuses on this moment because it’s right when he kills DIO. Very much usurping a king to take the crown.
But before the story ended, we saw Prime Jotaro do something else which I believe is (also) what makes him the most powerful Stand user in existence. It’s a small, almost forgotten moment. Tucked in between Jotaro learning about Kakyoin’s death and reviving his grandfather.
It’s the time when Jotaro tries the impossible.
SDC Time Stop Jotaro isn’t considered the most powerful Stand user because he’s in his physical prime with a powerful ability. He’s considered that because this was the very moment he decided to try. That’s what makes him the most powerful Stand user.
Tumblr media
Which makes it all the more painful meaning that the times that Jotaro fails are the moments were he doesn’t try enough.
More analysis below the cut. Spoilers for part 6 btw.
There’s that common joke pointing out how ridiculous it is that Jotaro tells Josuke that “you can’t bring back a life once it’s lost” after Josuke’s grandfather dies because Jotaro was literally able to do just that. Sure, the circumstances were different especially with the vampire blood giving immortality, but Jotaro’s attempt was to see if flushing Joseph’s body back with his Joestar blood would revive him, with no intention to turn him vampiric (which it doesn’t. Or it does and Joseph gets the immortality but not the rest of the bad side effects. Joestar blood is too op pls fix in next patch dev team). Regardless, it’s pretty odd and perhaps unintentional parallel that two grandfathers tip the bucket and one survives and the other’s grandson is told that the dead will always remain dead.
Speaking from a in-universe perspective, Jotaro’s speech to Josuke should be taken at as the truth. Bruno dies against Diavolo during their first encounter, with him essentially living as a ghost(/soul) within his own withering corpse thanks to Giorno’s intervention. More obviously in Stone Ocean, when Pucci finds Perla’s body and gets a memory of DIO telling him that there’s no way to bring back the dead.
Tumblr media
So the one exception of cheating death outright is in Joseph being revived by Jotaro. It could be explained by the aforementioned vampire/Joestar blood BS. It could be a simple retcon that got established in DiU so a situation like Joseph wouldn’t happen again. Both interpretations make sense and I would agree with both.
However, I would like to argue that Joseph’s miraculous survival is not a narrative oversight. His revival is proof of Jotaro’s power as a direct result of Jotaro’s willingness to try. Jotaro plans for DIO and Joseph’s body to be put into the same ambulance to return the Joestar blood back to his grandfather. It’s an idea he’s not even sure that works, he asks the doctors if it was possible to transfer blood between the corpses. Joseph is very much dead at this point. If Jotaro calling Joseph’s body a corpse and seeing his soul float off wasn’t enough proof, the doctors immediately call the revival plan impossible/useless.
Tumblr media
I want to stress this is the worst night of Jotaro’s life.
Right before this scene happens he overhears the radio confirm that Kakyoin is dead. He went into the final fight with DIO knowing Avdol and Iggy were both dead, upping the pressure to keep the rest of his friends/family alive. He watched his grandfather die right in front of him and DIO promptly desecrate the corpse. If it weren’t for his own actions, Polnareff would be dead too. He doesn’t know if he killed DIO in time either, from his perspective his mom could’ve died before he could save her in time. (Ha. Time.)
I suppose, in a sea of despondent despair, there was no other options than to cling to the impossible. After all, against all odds, he was able to learn Time Stop and kill DIO. He had to make it worth it. He was there to save his family, his friends died to save his family, if Joseph or Holly died… well.
He wanted to beat the odds again. And he did. In a way, this is him beating fate or at the very least—fate was literally in his hands and he made the decision to bring his grandfather back no matter what.
In DiU and beyond, Jotaro becomes resigned to fate and thus the weakening of his power overall. If fate determined that his friends would die in Egypt, then that would lessen the weight of blame on him and put their deaths as more of an inevitability. Fate is final. You can’t change it.
Tumblr media
Jotaro doesn’t feel pressured to act upon something until he has to, then he does what he needs to be done. In SDC he doesn’t really care about women until they need to be saved or protected. In DiU he says he “hates doing anything tiring” as he saved Koichi from Sheer Heart Attack. He doesn’t visit Jolyne until she’s in jail because of a plot against him (and he couldn’t let DIO’s resentment ruin his daughter’s life).
The actions he takes are what he believes to be the best option, but that option is probably a compromise, not an attempt at the best possible outcome. His treatment to Jolyne is the subject here. He focused his priorities on keeping his family safe by baiting his enemies to himself instead of them, instead of trying to find a compromise where he could be with his daughter and protect her. I can’t blame Jotaro for this decision, but I also can’t avoid the simple fact that he hurt himself and his family for being distant. When fate does catch up, as he expects it to, it bites him in the ass—the stubbornness of DIO’s followers outlived Jotaro’s and he ends up in a coma, unable to act and unable to protect his daughter.
I don’t mean to say that effort isn’t shown by him, he’s extremely observational and analytical and uses those skills to his advantage in practically every fight he’s in. I think the Anubis fight is good proof of that, being brought to his physical limits to the point he can’t move after it. He tries plenty, but it seems clear to me that he tends to only lose when he’s not trying hard enough.
He almost died to a rat because he didn’t plan ahead and figure that the bullets would ricochet. In Stone Ocean, his Time Stop isn’t long enough to save everyone from Made In Heaven. He didn’t maintain his prime Time Stop or sought to expand it, because that was DIO’s goal or, more simply, he didn’t bother to. He went ten years of not needing to use it until Josuke forces him to.
Even with his ability becoming duller in later parts, the story and characters still treat Jotaro like The Most Powerful Stand User. In DiU, after the culmination of the Gang’s efforts, it’s up to Jotaro to stop Kira from reactivating BtD. In Stone Ocean, it’s up to Jotaro to kill Pucci when no one else is literally able to. Stardust Crusaders’ final fight is when Jotaro is completely alone, when there’s no one left but him to stop DIO.
The narrative again and again reenforces the idea that Jotaro is the strongest Stand user in the story, that everything falls on his shoulders and he is the one to make sure the evil dies and who’s left, lives. Past part 3, the narrative continues to say that he’s the most powerful Stand user, but it’s also clear that it’s not true anymore. His Time Stop isn’t as strong as it was in his prime. He no longer lives up to the expectation he made for himself in the few minutes after he killed DIO.
That moment in the ambulance, that’s the moment Jotaro tries without the pressure of death—the dust has already settled—or his own sense of justice—the evil has been fought. Joseph is dead and DIO is dead. Out of the desire and the off chance that he could hear his grandfather share stupid trivia with him, Jotaro reaches for the impossible, the best possible outcome, and gets it.
After the end of Stardust Crusaders, Jotaro no longer is at his ‘prime’. For someone who hates useless things, he becomes what he deems as useless. He’ll live the rest of his life in the shadow of his own self, the self that proved that he could do the impossible.

So as you may know I've just finished jjba diu...and I'd like to share something
⚠️SPOILERS FOR DIU OR PART 4⚠️
And slight hate for the main villain(sorry?)
Out of all the jjba villains/rivals so far none have scared me more then Yoshikage Kira. Because he legitimately made me fret for my life.
Dio was too charasmatic for me to hate, heck I find that he's pretty cool and hot but that's besides the point.
Kars freaked me out a little(because he was a bitch) but either than that I didn't fear him.
But Kira..was just terrifying,as someone who is afab i have never been happier that 1. I'm not in jjba and 2. My hands look like shit because we all know what he does with hands💀
I was ecstatic when he got isekai'd by that fucking ambulance that's how much I hated him. And I know what your thinking.. "but aren't villains made to be hated?" Yes however I'm still talking about it.
Like in all honesty I know I have some shitty taste in men but anyone who likes Kira are just a bit strange and I mean that nicely. Like I don't mean to hate but like come on just how do you like him tho? 👀
I liked diamond is unbreakable but Kira was just absolutely terrifying. I've fucked up all the inside of my mouth from biting it out of stress also I hate his ass because of bites the dust. Like it was cool but also I thought Rohan was going to die and since he's my favourite character in diu I wasn't too pleased, thankfully he was fine but I did ball my eyes out😄
Again thank you for reading my rant have an amazing day or night❤️

Welcome ♡
(If you follow or are already following, please like or interact to let me know you’ve read this. XX)
Tumblr media
BASIC INFO:
☆ my carrd ☆
Here are some of the names I use:
Dio: If you’re a stranger, you are here! If I don’t know you or don’t feel 100% comfy enough with you yet, please stick to this one or one of the others.
Dora: If you’re a stranger, you are here! Mostly a joke in reference to an old url of mine that also is based on a childhood memory. You can call me this regardless of familiarity as well, but use caution, as it is more of a joking thing.
Devin: If you’re a friend, you are here! Refrain from using this one if I’m not really comfortable or familiar with you. That's all. Thanks.
Damian: If you’re a stranger, you are here! This name is based on a favorite character of mine, Damian Hinge (localized: Colias Palaeno) from Ace Attorney Investigations. Feel free to call me this whenever.
Colias: If you’re a stranger, you are here! Based on the same blorbo as the previous name, so you can call me this whenever.
Serina: If you’re a stranger, you are here! This name is in reference to the first (known) stage name of MALICE MIZER/Moi dix Mois guitarist Mana, who is also referred to as Mana様 (romaji: -sama) by fans, including myself. Feel free to call me this whenever!
D: If you’re a stranger, you are here! Shorthand for all names that start with D! Call me this if you want to.
☆ I’m Black. Keep that in mind, always.
☆ My pronouns are they/them. I also use þei/þem (still pronounced they/them), but mostly jokingly. You may use she/her if we’re close, but please ask beforehand! He/him is fine for jokes, but not always. And finally, never use “it/its” for me, since I personally find them to be dehumanizing. I’m a Black enby, so surely you can understand why I feel that way. Any neos and whatnot are just what they are 🤷‍♀️. I’ll let you know for sure if a pronoun makes me uncomfortable.
☆ I have four sideblogs:
@dios-multiverse ~ my writing and oc sideblog
@crucible-memes-4-salem-teens ~ my sideblog based on the 1953 play The Crucible where I am head mod.
@melanated-attorney ~ my Ace Attorney-centric sideblog. i may get a little mean there on occasion but it's entirely out of love for the series.
And another, (not very) secret blog. If you can find it, I’ll give you a cookie 🍪.
○°•°○°•°○
MY CURRENT INTERESTS:
♡ Ace Attorney! I love the silly little lawyer games, so feel free to talk to me about them! I’ve watched playthroughs of the trilogy and am currently playing Investigations 2 as well as the DGS duology. In addition, I’ve watched most of the stage plays as well as the anime and the live-action film. I have yet to watch the musicals. Plus, AA gave me THE problematic fave~
♡ Ouran High School Host Club! OHSHC is a lifelong love of mine. However, I’ve only watched the anime and have only read the first three volumes of the manga. Still, I don’t mind spoilers, so if I come across them, I’ll be okay. I don’t have a *favorite* host, though I am somewhat partial to Mori-senpai. (Also Ranka my love, my light ♡)
♡ JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! I really like this series, but I am also fully aware of the reputation of the fans. I will try not to be annoying as shit but no guarantees. Also, maybe basic or wtv but DiU Josuke my beloved <33. (+ Does anyone wanna give me access to all the manga parts up until now?)
♡ Markiplier! Once again, lifelong appreciation for him as a person and creator. One of my favorite series from him is probably his playthough of West of Loathing, though I love most of his other videos as well and find myself coming back to his channel again and again.
♡ RTGame! Another favorite youtuber of mine. I love most of his videos as well, though his Planet Coaster videos are what drew me to his channel initially. I really like his content, so I frequently watch his videos.
☆ The Crucible! Yes, that play from the 50s. It gripped me in a hyperfixation when I was in 11th grade and hasn’t let go since, hence the blog! I also like other works of “classic literature”, though my interest in those is a bit more tame.
♡ Percy Jackson and the Olympians! (and related franchises, such as Heroes of Olympus). Though I’m out of the “target” demographic for those books, they are still near and dear to my heart. However, (possibly controversial opinion) I don’t like Jason Grace as a character. Sorry guys, but he’s mid. 🤷‍♀️
♡ My Chemical Romance! This band has stuck with me since middle school and I did cry when I found out they got back together, so jot that down. Also stream Foundations of Decay.
♡ Fall Out Boy! Another lifelong love of mine. I’ve loved this band since before I knew it existed. It truly has been there for me from the start. Also, M A  N   I    A is a good album, you guys are just anti-black. 🤷‍♀️ Stream So Much (For) Stardust!
♡ MALICE MIZER! I started listening to them (and the members’ solo work) in September of 2022, and am stuck in MIZER hell. It feels weird to be obsessed with a band that was created and broke up went on indefinite hiatus before I was even born, but I’m used to it at this point. Mentally I’m here.
♡ Queen! I typically only listen to music from the 90s and 2000s, but I love Queen a lot. Like with Fall Out Boy, I liked a lot of their music before I even knew it was them, which is interesting for a number of reasons.
♡ ABBA! Another golden group from the 70s. Absolutely love them and I think it’s funny how they can now say they went on a 40-year hiatus. How many of your faves can say the same?
♡ BABYMETAL! While I’m not caught up on all the lore (I’m getting there, okay?) I really do like them. I started listening to them in 2019, right before METAL GALAXY came out. When that album came out, I obsessively listened to Night Night Burn! almost every day. It was crazy.
♡ ♡ ♡ Honorable Mentions: Greek Mythology, the novels Homegoing and Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi, too many WEBTOONs to name, Kamigami No Asobi, Waterparks, DE'WAYNE, Kero Kero Bonito, MARINA, Lil Nas X, and Paramore!

DNF
(My love for the marginalized and downtrodden overrides my hatred for you 100% of the time.):
× Anti-Black/Racist/Neo-Nazi. I don’t tolerate that shit here. Leave me and my blogs alone.
× TERF/SWERF. Our trans siblings and sex working siblings belong in our community. If they hadn’t fought for us, we wouldn’t be able to live as freely now.
× Homophobes. I’m not explaining this one. Just know you shouldn’t care who other people want to kiss or fuck.
× Exclusionists. Ace people, Bi/Pan/Poly/Omni/etc people, and Nonbinary/Genderqueer people do not have to explain themselves to be allowed to exist in our community. I don’t care if you don’t understand their identities. It’s not their job to teach you.
× Transmeds/whatever the hell you people are called these days. Trans people do not need to suffer for you to consider them valid.
× Anti-Semites. Idc. Y'all’s hatred of Jewish people is quite literally irrational. They haven’t caused any problems for you and don’t secretly control the government. Don’t believe everything you read.
× Islamophobes. Again. As a whole, Muslims are not causing problems for you, and if you think that, you’re too far gone.
× Pedos/MAPs/NOMAPs. It’s not okay or right or normal to be an adult attracted to children. I don’t give a fuck. Get away from me. I don’t want you fuckers around.
× Pro-ship. I don’t care if it’s fictional. It’s weird. I personally just feel like “ship and let ship” can’t and never should apply to real-person, pedophilic, abusive, or incestuous ships, and that’s a normal opinion to have. It doesn’t “squick me out” if it’s straight up illegal! It disgusts me.
× AO3 simps. I use AO3! I like the platform. Its tagging system is well-organized. However, I would not put my moral character on the line for it. It’s not that deep, babes. I promise. No one’s going to cleanse the internet of your Destiel smuts.
× DDLG/DDLB/MDLG/MDLB. Why does another person acting in child-like manners or dressing like children arouse you? Quickly. Prove with facts and research how that doesn’t make you adjacent to being a pedo. Fuck off.
○°•°○°•°○
Finally, I hope this blog is a safe and happy space for everyone to be in! Let’s have fun together~!
Thanks for reading, dears~ ♡
