Susannah smiled softly at the kiss before assuring him, "O-Oh no, not at all! I actually slept in this morning, which was a wonderful change of pace!"

It was unfortunately the conundrum that came with being a night owl: She could easily be up long into the night without issue, which gave her an opportunity to work on a project (sometimes for work, sometimes just something personal on the side), but it also meant she was exhausted come the wee hours of the morning, when she'd reluctantly rise from her bed to take a quick bath, get dressed, tame her hair, and fix herself a quick breakfast before she had to be out the door. Even on her days off, she couldn't bring herself to sleep in: It just felt like there was too much to do, that she couldn't afford to waste the day by sleeping in.

But today...she just didn't have that nagging worry she had on her weekends. She didn't have that little voice poking her in the back of her head, prodding her into getting out of bed that morning. She felt no great rush to jump out of the sheets and bathe and fetch herself some food to keep her fueled for a little while. Instead, she felt...leisurely. Months ago, she would've been scandalized at the notion of walking down a hotel hallway in just her nightdress and robe, but this morning, she had no issue with taking it easy: Sleeping in, and indulging in a rich, flavorful breakfast with the man she loved.

"I...I hope we have more mornings like this in the future," she admitted, leaning her head on Philippe's shoulder as she dug into her pancakes. "More quiet, easy mornings, where we can just...take our time."

Tiana is my favourite Disney Princess. I have looked when it will be opening multiple times this week on multiple websites and all just vaguely said Summer or Fall 2024. How am I only seeing this video 11 days after its release? How does it only have 74k views? Did I miss some bigger announcement?

Announcements

Hey everyone. I have two announcements to make:

1. I will be seeing the Live Action Snow White movie, so you should expect a full review by Friday!

2. I am thinking about writing a Bob’s Burgers Fanfiction about there experience at Disneyworld, particularly Magic Kingdom and am debating two premises to go off on.

as probably the only person on tumblr who know what's your blog tagline is in reference to, i feel like I should ask how you're holding up with the news about Muppet*Vision 3D?

Ha! Well, first of all I'm on Tumblr and I know what my tagline's a reference to, so jot that down!

But basically I'm bummed about it, obviously, but I think the amount I'm bummed depends on what we get over in the Rock 'n Roller Coaster area. On one hand, this is the company that threw literal park icon Figment into a wood chipper to sell the pieces in collectible pins so part of me fully expects them to just throw absolutely everything out, all those hilarious props and stuff from the pre-show... but there is a lot of random room in that store at the end of Rock 'n Roller coaster so it's entirely possible they'll keep some stuff to decorate the rafters in there. 

And, allegedly, we're getting the movie back in some form. Disney+ release wouldn't be as good as the real thing but it would be something at least so it doesn't just become lost media. Maybe they'll give us a sweet DVD release with 3D glasses and the pre-show and everything and, while this will very much probably not happen, a girl can dream.

On one hand it's like, it stinks we're losing the last project Jim Henson worked on and that there's no Muppet thing a little kid can go on anymore. My kids are obsessed with the party room in PizzaRizzo ("It's rat pizza" 🥹) so I'm sad we're losing that too. Plus I freaking LOVED that show, it was one of my all time favorite Jim-era Muppet projects so it's just sad, you know? Esp since they are replacing it with The Most Mid Pixar properly ever which just adds insult to injury.

But it's been on the chopping block forever and I'm frankly amazed it's lasted this long. We had a pretty good run. I actually was just down there a few weeks ago and I went on it one last time and got to see the whole pre-show for a change so I felt like I had my little goodbye.

And, bright side: there's a lot of room over in the new area for new nonsense. (They BETTER move the fountain!) At least the Muppets will still be in the park in some way. I would be much more sad about it if they were yeeted entirely. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

So, you know, anon, sad about it but not surprised. Cautiously optimistic about what we might get to replace it. End of an era but not unexpected. So that's where I am.

Though I ironically have really bad history with Rock 'n Roller Coaster to the point where it is medically inadvisable for me to go on it anymore so the day the news dropped, all my IRL loved ones were texting me like, "This seems very targeted against you specifically. 😂" Disney turning the ride that could kill me into a Muppet ride to taunt me into going on it again is like basically taking a hit out on me, how dare they! 😤
