i bought a blind pack and i got the prettiest common cover by Gabriele Dell'oto

First of all, the art is BEAUTIFUL. The colors and shapes make everything better. Now i get why people were asking the villain scrooge to be on the tumblr sexyman tournment. I mean look at him while he YEETS the scrooges–

L + ratio to this anthagonist bozo who finally went fully insane and destroyed WORLDS to be the richest guy in the multiverse, all because he thinks Donald and the boys rejected him while actually they just got lost in the snow (they survived btw)

And he still can't even recognize which of them is HIS Donald! (damn just a few months with him and the boys and Scrooge already got that dad look of when the kid is messing up)

In the end there's like, a hundred Donalds, a bunch of Scrooges and Gyros, at least three copies of each one of the triplets, two Goldies and Grandma Ducks and ONE WEBBY

Everyone in the middle of DONALD WAR (that started because Donald called Donald ugly)

Well i think it's a nice comic. It's nice to see for once the concept of Scrooge turning into a villain because he ended up very lonely with too much greed and a heart of stone to actually open up to familiar happiness again. At the end, Scrooge is happier being a father family man than just a billionaire, and finally having his first christmas with the absolute mess now they all call it family.

Donald Duck "Mr. Adventurer" Comic Scanlation

First of all, I need to express my gratitude for Quackie @3rdexistence, who volunteered to help me when I sent out a request to give me photos of this comic. Not only did he buy the comic and send me photos of every page, but he also volunteered to scan and translate it into English! This is his first time doing a scanlation, and he did a great job. He even included some additional notes about the original German text. He didn't have to do this at all, and I'm so thankful he was this generous. You're fantastic, Quackie. Go give him some love! He also gave me permission to post this to my blog, so thank you for that!

This is a pretty recent comic -- it came out on May 10th, and I've been super excited to share it.

Now, what is this comic about?

Well, not to spoil anything... Actually I tagged the big surprise, but I'll try to keep it under the cut anyway.

The story is about Donald becoming upset after he discovers a new TV is stealing its plots from his and his nephews' adventures. Convinced the culprit is Uncle Scrooge, his mission to bring the plagiarizer to justice will take him to realizations he never could have expected...

Gladstone also joins in on the adventure, so that's fun!

Donald Duck and The Ostrich Eggs (1953)

Yeah, told you I was doing TranslationS (plural)

"Paperino e le uova di struzzo" is another early Albi d'oro exclusive and with all its crazy weirdness along with it. Floor polish made solely out of egg yolk, a doctor who's name is a pun of "Holy Mackerel", Scrooge getting gold inserted into him like a flu shot then ends up getting it removed using a magnet, Scrooge nearly dies from consuming bleach, a character who looks like Clara Cluck but isn't Clara Cluck and has a completely different name compared to Clara's actual Italian name (it's just Clara), the boys do something dickish to Donald and he donest spank them compared to when the boys annoy him by accident, it's all here.

Special thanks again to the Guido Martina Facebook group for the original translation and with an additional rare illustration to it. The source of the actual pages comes from the 16th issue of the 2nd version of I Grandi Classici Disney since it actually bothered to color in ALL the pages.

We have Glory-bee in a new story!!!! Last time she properly featured in a story was in Brazil in the 1980s?

Last time was in Young Donald Duck, so it doesn't really count. And before that a cameo in another Egmont story, that I should have, but a cameo means probably that she appeared in one panel in the background. And before that an italian story where she is not really Glory-bee, but a look-alike that functions as a separate love-interest.

And there's my man Ingmar Dobermann too! Such a joyful discovery.

Hello, I've noticed you've been posting about PKNA/PKNE, Wizards of Mickey and other Topolino-related comics. I'd love to be part of that online coomunity, if it exists, can you help me? And do you know of some way to read the new comics in english?

Hey there! Most of PK has been translated and the scanlations are floating around on Tumblr as well as more specialized places like Bankin' the Duck. Not sure about Wizards of Mickey, but thankfully those comics have been released in my language pretty consistently. (Unlike PK, which is still running behind... I'm sort-of following what's going on with the new comics but I have deliberately not actually read the newer comics!)

There's a couple of different communities, but I guess other than the Papersera forum (which is not that much fun if you don't understand Italian), most of it happens here and on Discord. At Duckscord, we have a couple of separate channels for topics such as PK, WOM, DoubleDuck and so on, and we're generally a friendly community.
