You squinted at the list, finding the names neverending. “Jeez, this list keeps going, huh?” 

He could not help the scoff. “And you called me a Filmbro.” He set his forearms on the counter, locking his hands together. “What do you need these movies for?”

“They’re for my ex-boyfriend.” 

The term had him pausing. Of course—the ex-boyfriend. How has he heard of this man, but not know a thing about him? Shit, he did not even know your name.

“This ex of yours has an…interesting taste,” he said slowly. “What’s he like?”

“I can tell you he attends the same college as you. Well, us,” you clarified, jerking your head towards the college colours of your server’s hoodie. “Film major. Just like you, actually.” 

“Oh?” Small world. “What’s the name?”

“Kim Mingyu. Do you know him?” 

Vernon Chwe nearly shit his oversized jeans.

A hesitant nod of his head. “I have a few classes with him.”

“Oh?” Your stare was a little more intense now. “What do you think of him?”

Right. 

Another fated question—the people around him had to stop asking him such controversial questions, or else he was bound to piss someone off. You were already letting him off the hook too many times; one more judgemental comment, and he was having that Princess movie set smashed on his head.

Kim Mingyu. Fuckass Kim Mingyu. Film major—just like him. One of the most popular boys in the year—very unlike him. All the teachers love his essays, all the girls love his freakishly-perfect six-pack, which Vernon is extremely irritated (and devastatingly intimidated) by. 

What all these people failed to realise, though, was that Mingyu was the biggest piece of shit to grace the halls of his university—and the planet, if dramatics were in order. If you thought that Vernon was a filmbro, then Mingyu was Filmbrother. Filmcomrade. Filmnemesis. 

It was as if you could hear the thoughts churning in his head. “You can be honest, you know. He did dump me at the end of the day.” A smirk began to appear. “Say your worst.”

The reassurance did not help. “I mean,” he started, swiping your card, “He’s okay? I haven’t talked to him enough to have an opinion on him.” 

A half-truth—that should suffice. 

But because the fates like to shit on his head every now and then for kicks, they decided to leave you unsatisfied with his answer. “Or, you can keep lying!” 

Excellent intuition, really. “I’m not!” he exclaimed, slapping the card back on the counter. “I really don’t know much about him.”

The big man upstairs was testing him even further, when, with a determined gaze, you set your elbows atop the surface. You leaned closer, tilting your head to the side as you inspected him, and Vernon blinked back at the sheer lack of space you had created. His mouth twisted, eyes frantically darting at the features of your face, not quite taking in the entirety of your being. Your vision seemed to work perfectly, because it caught the slight flush at the tops of his cheeks, where it was just pale skin seconds before.

Your smirk deepened. “Judging by your blush, you’re either terrible at lying…or,” you offered, voice lowering a little as you drummed your fingers against the counter, “You’ve never had a hot girl this close to you.” 

Fuck everything and everyone, because that only made him blush more furiously. You could not help the chuckle that escaped, deciding to cease torturing him and take your card. “I’ll not say the answer, Mr. Filmbro, but I think you already know.”

Since he had no plans of turning into a human form of a ketchup bottle, he evaded the topic entirely, instead focusing on interrogating you. “You still haven’t told me how Mingyu is related to the movie list you made.”

That seemed to hold your interest. “Oh, of course!” Putting the list back into your bag, you began, “Well, the list holds my ex-boyfriend’s favourite films. I wanted to know your opinion on a few.”

He could not contain his sigh. Oh, he had an opinion on these films that you mentioned. Again, he would rather be buried with his thoughts on the specific genre than ever tell you. The curiosity, though, was eventually going to eat him alive.

So much for minding his business.

“I mean…” he began to think, trying to find the right words. “I don’t mind them? Godfather is a good film, but I’ve seen better from Brando. I like American Psycho, but again, people tend to miss the point of the movie.”

As you nodded, listening to his two-cents on the movies you mentioned, he paused, furrowing his brows. “Why do you care about my opinion?”

You smacked your lips together, folding the list back. “I don’t know much about you, Mr. Filmbro,” you began, “But you don’t run a filmstore without knowing a thing or two about the films you sell.”

“So?” He crossed his arms atop the counter. “Shouldn’t you have asked the guy who you made the list about?”

“Trust me,” you said, your smirk turning more into a rageful flash of teeth, “I know exactly what he thinks of these films.”

Don’t particularly know what to make of that comment. “Well, I don’t know what my opinion for these films is going to help you in any way.”

“It has helped.” You paused then, waiting to see if he would egg you on, asking how his seemingly tame opinions would play into the grand scheme of things. “All part of my master plan.”

Master plan? Vernon may have been interested before, but he was certain that, before, he could have hid it without letting you catch onto it. In a sudden flash, though, as if his mouth was beyond his control, he regrettably slipped out the words which had you smiling more than he would have liked.

“What master plan?”

He almost closed his eyes. Shit. Now I’m fucking invested.

The corners of your mouth, lifting upwards, had him almost nervous. “I was hoping you would say that.”

Plot: Scar loves to rub your relationship in the rest of the prides faces since he knows it bothers them. He's a Brat, but you love him.

Warnings: Age difference relationship (/people around you disapproving of it) and a lot PDA. Also sexual references.

As soon as you see Scar approaching the rest of the pride, you hop up from where you were resting, dozing, out in the warm sun and quickly meet him a few bounds away from the others- you know he's here for you, he never visits the pride for anything else. Immediately you greet him with a loving kiss to the cheek and a bright smile.

He mutters something intimate in your ear with a smirk while the other lionesses all watch, and you go hot under everyone's judgemental gazes. God damnit, old man, not these antics again!! You flash him a warning glare, but of course he doesn't care. "Scar, just once, can my boyfriend visit me and not make it a spectacle??"

"Oh, my dear, what's the fun in that??"

"Hello, Scar," Sarabi pipes up in a measured, joyless tone from behind you and you turn around to face your queen, out of respect. The rest of the lionesses refuse to even meet his gaze, but Sarabi's known Scar since they were kids- he's her brother-in-law after all- and she's just... classy. And kind. You like her for that, as well as her dry sense of humour, so you certainly done blame her for disliking him. So long as you can act hospitable, not make your distaste anyone's problem, then you can dislike whoever you want on as little grounds as you want, as far as you're concerned.

... the rest of these bitches, though... Your eyes darken a little, giving the gossipy judgy women all a frustrated, disappointed look as they all look mildly irritated just by Scar's presence. And his body stood so 'inappropriately' close to yours. They're just ridiculous.

When Scar's arm slips around your waist and rests there lazily, you give a surprised gasp; neck snapping so you can look at him. Seriously!?? Honestly, yes, you don't care what these old biddies think about you relationship- but m u s t h e make it so hard on Sarabi?? She's trying!

Yes, apparently, he must, says the mischievous lethargic grin on his handsome face. "Sarabi... you look lovely today. My, what a lucky brother I have."

Sarabi rolls her eyes almost all the way up into her skull, while you stand there quite awkwardly. Scar, shut up. "Scar, don't be brutish."

"Simply stating a fact, Sarabi. Anyway... " Scar's gaze falls on your head so close, and the next thing you know he's nuzzling you; making you freeze. You love it, you love Scar's touch, but r I G H T NOW!?? "Going on a hunt today, are you all?... "

"Did Y/N tell you that?" One of the other lionesses cuts in (Snaps); a very sharp tone in her voice that you don't like at all and causes you to glare daggers at her even as Scar completely lacks a responce to it. His arm around your waist does squeeze for a moment though, as if telling to calm down, now, I'm fine dear...

"I did." You respond shortly, instead, but leave it at that; turning fully into Scar now and letting him do whatever he wants. If they cant act cordial, then neither will you. He gives a devious smirk at your actions, and gently catches your chin between his thumb and his curled forefinger. His eyes bore into yours, so impossibly-venomously-prettily green, and as always you lose yourself in them.

"She did, and I'm just here to bid her goodbye for the afternoon~ So if you'll excuse us, thank you."

Instead of walking you away from the group though, despite his excuse, Scar merely removes his attention from them completely and he's all yours. God, he loves doing this, being intimate where the rest of the pride can see what he's doing. What he does to you. Every time he seems to take it a step further, too; getting more and more shameless in his old age as you've told him before.

Oh? 'Old'?? He'd asked, a look of mock offence on his face.

... practically ancient, you'd told him back; digging your hole in even deeper and smirking about it. Then he'd approached you, or prowled towards you more like, with that predatory look on his devastatingly striking face, raised your chin up, rubbed the tip of his nose roughly against yours, and then kissed you. Then you did some things that the ladies here would definitely drop their jaws over.

With the memory lingering in your mind, you give a quiet sigh; lowering your voice so only Scar can hear. "... you're here to say goodbye, huh?" You ask quietly, holding onto the sides of his clothing.

"Well, that's true. I am."

"Oh, you are a gentile suitor, huh?" You tease, sarcasm gently filling your whisper-voice even as Scar cups your face now; brushing his thumbs methodically across your cheeks and making you feel weak. With all this happening, you almost forget you're being watched by almost the entire pride sans Mufasa. "When'd that happen?"

"I assure you, my dear,.. " He comes in close to your face, so close your noses almost touch. "I'm still a rogue." He growls, then swoops in the rest of the way and presses a hot kiss to your mouth; making you feel a bit, embarrassingly, weak in the knees. Its a deep kiss, but not obscenely long in duration before he's pulling away, letting you go and strolling off. "Goodbye, have a good hunt."

You're left Kissed, warm all over and alone in front of the lionesses- the realisation that they were there that entire time crashing back over you all of a sudden. You give them an awkward smile and a waive, before returning swiftly to your spot among them and ducking your head down; pleased and embarrassed at once. Oh lord. Damnit Scar.

my pretty pile ones you all got Aladdin as your disney couple ♡ when watching the movie everything feels and look intense, like you're in there and not watching it through a screen. the romance between you and your f/s feels real. ever lie to yourself about how strong a connection was? like "omg he and I are soulmates I know it" type of stuff? yeah with this person you don't know it, you feel it. it feels real. Aladdin plays on illusion a lot, Aladdin himself lies to Jasmine about his status to make her give him a chance, but if there's one thing that was never faked it was the connection. the love between Aladdin and Jasmine. you two are the same, this connection can't be faked it's the real deal. elements of the couple that could mix into you and your f/s could be your f/s pursuing you with the same determination that Aladdin did with Jasmine. seeing you from afar and having to have you. meeting you, not even knowing your name but wanting it all. the world could also work in funny ways in your story like it did in Aladdin. meeting by fate. the universe working with your f/s to get them what they want. you two are going to meet and want to share view points and share your stories of how you collectively got to that point in your life. their going to want to show you what they know, all they know, and you're going to accept with open arms.

why is that my sad pile always have a hot f/s? stop it fr 😭 my dear pile two, you and your f/s most resemble Hercules and Megan!! not only does this tell me that your f/s is a certified hot dreamy masterpiece BUT I can also see that you and your spouse are definitely into each other sexually a lot more than my other piles. your f/s is a sucker for the sad people of the world ngl they just want to fix and help everyone. pile 2, something important in about you and your f/s would be that you, like Megan, will be going through a hard time when you meet. something toxic will be reigning over your life (this could be a friend, relative, partner ect) and this person will see that.they're obvs, in true Hercules fashion, going to want to even protect you from it at times if need be. if any of you have ever seen this movie you'd know that Megan betrays Hercules and honestly I'm kinda seeing it here as well. the conflict of the story seems to be the same. someone feeling betrayed. "you said you were with me" type of vibe. you don't like that they help everyone. in fact it might even be that you never wanted or asked for their help! it irks you at first. and this is going to sound so bad but you might want to get to know them at first only for their looks 😭 or because you have something to gain from it. with time though, even though people DO NOT want you together, you will come to fall in love with their sensitivity and their good nature. not everyone has an angle, or is mean, and not everyone is the same, and you will come to realize this with your person. cute ♡

pile 3 how lucky u are 😭 in this pile we got Tiana and Naveen as your disney counterpart!! not only can we infer then that your f/s is as easy going as prince naveen but we also got the royalty oracle card which means that they're royalty that they're certainly as influential as he is. dear pile 3 you know what love is. you've seen it, you've heard about it, you've read about it. you know HOW to love. patient, loving, kind, that is you. you've begun to live in your divine feminine energy. you have no time for others! you focus on yourself, love yourself, put yourself first. your f/s is a fool - wait no sorry the fool as in metaphorically they take after these traits strongly. they're eager to try new things, they keep their mind open to opportunities and always looks for LIFE. they're alive, they want to make sure other people take advantage of it (their words not mine 😭) lmao they're a bit full of themselves. the candle of everyone's eye etc. honestly you might not even know if you love them or are annoyed by them half them time. or so you tell yourself. true love lies tried and true here. this love is gradual and it takes time and effort but once you tw begin to explore each other's personalities we see love that is hard to undo. you don't come back from this. two people become one. they chase one goal. they chase a future. they promise you forever. you know you love them because you couldn't imagine it differently. true true love.

LISTEN!! this is my mushy lovey dovey pile 😭 the cards we got?? fantastic?? the oracle cards?? amazing. the pairing?? in my top 3. DO I NEED TO SAY MORE?? pile four, you all got cinderella and prince charming as the couple you two resemble. and before you throw a shoe at me let me just say that 1. I love the first cinderella movie and 2. that being said I will always pick the third one over the first one. and so that's the one I'll be focusing on for now :) because we all know that both of them weren't all there in the first movie 😵‍💫 now to start off with your f/s and yourself. if there's a pinnacle of love in this world you two have reached it with your connection. this is TRUE LOVE. like ultimate love. the world has blessed you pile four. marriage, no - union is inevitable here. you two are from very different worlds. if there are levels to this you two could be on opposite sides. but that's just what makes it all the more crazy when you meet. how, you might ask yourself later when everything happens, did I meet this person when our lives are completely different?? but the answer would simply then be that it was meant to be. how did cinderella always find her prince? fate. destiny. how did they just know with a simple touch that they were the "one" for each other? fate. destiny. it ties in for you and your f/s just as much as it did for them. pile four you might think at first that this isn't meant to be, that this is unrequited, that you and your person could never function together and be ONE but time will tell you eventually that you got it all wrong. you might even reject them at first too 😭 remember cinderella running from the prince when the clock struck 12? yeah, she was fleeing because of time but you're going to be fleeing because you're scared. scared of the connection. this might be the first time you really fall in love pile four. let them in when they come knocking on your door. as the old saying goes "if the shoe fits, wear it." sending you love.

Grey got me t-this gigantic box of v-vinyls and a K-KISS t-shirt! *big smile* I-I can’t wait to wear it around. I r-realized my friends k-know a lot about m-my tastes. *laughs* I got a lot of I-Iron Maiden and Motley Crue s-stuff, vinyls, cassettes, band shirts and some new s-spray p-paints.

I have enough of toxic people in fandom... They mostly ship Helsa for aesthetic and uwu hot enemies to lovers, and they can be either enemies to best friends to lovers, friends to lovers or other trope, Disney can do ANYTHING, so, the fandom is very monotone for portraying Helsa in the same boring way, making them almost abusive to each other and being a bitches they aren't. Elsa is not that c*nty "ice queen" who chokes Hans neck, and Hans isn't that spoiled prince who wants more and more and is always rude af. REMINDER THAT ELSA IS SHY AND GENTLE IN C A N O N, IN FUCKING CANON. AND HANS IS ACTUALLY BROKEN BUT SUNSHINE MAN WHO HOPES FOR A BETTER LIFE AND LOVES ELSA ABOVE ANYONE ELSE? Doing your Helsa version doesn't mean changing canon and personalities in 180° only for aesthetic reasons.
