It's all in good thought. He wants to keep you safe. Whether you can protect yourself or not.

Don't worry, you do get your own time alone. But it's typically in one of the Twilight Order bases.

It may seem like he's being overprotective, but he's just wants you to be safe. In a world where miramon are rampant and being a possible target because you are his lover, he doesn't want anything to go wrong.

He tends to be busy. A lot. But wait- you want quality time? Hugs? Comfort? Suddenly he has the whole day off.

People know not to insult or assault you. They know what could happen. But if someone does cross that line? He dismisses the contract with the Esper Union momentarily to kick some ass.

When he's with you out and about, NOBODY with the right mind dares to even give you a look. He gives one right back.

He's kind of a control freak (okay...that was an understatement). Because of this, he's also a neat freak. If you have a messy room and he enters, he's looking around like 😃. You leave for a second and come back and sudden it's all clean-(who says that wasn't your plan though?)

You probably become besties with Yuuhime.

Possessive? Check. Overprotective? Check. Treats you like a queen/king? Check. Takes you out to dinner and on fancy trips? Check. Tends to you when you're sick? Check. I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

He'd rather stay at home than leave. Everything you need is there, so why bother leaving? Guaranteed there will be moments of leaving and going out and about but not much.

Onto the next topic. PDA. He's 100% a PDA person (with basically only you). You're his, obviously he's going to make sure everyone knows. Whether it's handholding, an arm around the shoulder, or even a kiss, he does not care at all about what others think. Why should he? Their opinion doesn't matter to him.

He's your mood lifter and a savage. Someone was rude? Called you a name? Threatened you? He's definitely got a good idea of what to say to them before their death.

He does not care what you do or wear. You do you boo. Wanna go to a club? He's paying. Wanna get a dog/cat/favorite animal? Sure why not. Wanna cook? He'll praise the food even if it's bad.

Of course, you will both have 'word battles' and call each other names as a joke. He never means the things he says.

As his significant other, you have developed the ability to detect when he's lying. He's a pro, but he can't hide from you lmaooo and you can't hide from him

Under certain circumstances, he probably is most definitely a yandere.

Li Xiao was never one for self care, ask anyone who worked with him and they'd attest to this. It was only when he'd been dealt with a mandatory week off from months of overworking himself at the gaol did it put a temporary stop to this admittedly self-destructive lifestyle.

So when trudging to the breakroom for his fifth coffee for the day it was an immediate surprise when he'd broken the news.

"..you sure, I mean have you tried turning it down?" One of the guards, Ben, had questioned in amusement. Clearly the idea of this day off was never an intention of Xiao's

"Ben. look at me in the eyes and ask me that again"

The older man put both hands up in defeat as a response.

"All right I get your point but what are you going to do?" Now another person has piped up. līu xìng who looked up from his own cup

Crossing his arms, Xiao clearly wished for this conversation to end as soon as possible . giving away as much when he delayed his response

"Sleep most likely"

That didn't seem to satisfy the other man, giving him an incredulous look

"Well you can't just sleep through the entire week"

Is that a challenge?

"I will and you can watch me do it"

"Come on there has to be another way you can get that stick off your ass…wait"

Līu xìng began rummaging through his belongings before pulling out two papers. Xiao recognised what those were, based on the logo they both had.

"I got extra coupons from the hot springs, you could use those"

Līu should have known he doesn't take handouts either; however before he could say as much līu xìng continued

"I mean it's not like I can use them, I still have to deal with some family shit that came up"

…..that was …. Certainly an escalation. Checking the coffee machine , it looks like it's almost done in a few moments

"Besides you can always bring a plus one"

With his coffee done , Li Xiao didn't quite process what was being said and went to take his cup before it hit him.

Xiao's hand slipped at that moment, almost dropping his drink

A…a plus one …like who? What was he implying??!?

"Like, your little roommate~"

He didn't know how to respond to that,and līu just didn't know how to shut up.

"I mean you've denied the brother allegations, and he's probably made enough that he can move out. So who knows why else you're still letting him live with you"

Xiao was by no means a blushing teen but the idea of getting into one of the hot springs with Yun Chuan of all people , it visibly flustered him.

He'd have to be a horrible liar if Xiao didn't admit that it would be nice, of course he couldn't let līu know his little scheme was working. So without a care for temperature Li Xiao downed the entire cup, swiped the coupons from līu and left

Xiao clocked off at the latest he could before packing up his belongings, it was common for him to practically be the last person to leave.

When opening the door to his apartment he was met with a familiar sight.

Chuan was sleeping on the couch still, even if he'd planned on letting the other use his bed. It was almost impressive just how stubborn he was about putting xiao over his own needs.

Xiao walked past near effortlessly without making a sound, only for Yun Chuan to awaken on his own; stirring groggily

"It's just me, go back to bed"

"mmmm ….."

"It's 12:45. How are you still not asleep?"

"What's that in your hands?"

Yun Chuans beginning to reach out to the coupons that were still in his hands

…. Well there was no use in making it a surprise…or Xiao could start convincing him this was a dream he could just hide these forever and not talk about them in the morning.

"....if you're free tomorrow you can find out"

A bleary eyed chuan gave a nod of acknowledgment before fully passing out

…. Xiao''s fucked

…. He could turn back now, he could just say everything from last night really was from Chuan's imagination.

When they walked in a receptionist welcomed them in and when cashing in the coupons, she was all the more enthusiastic as she told them of the varieties of baths they offered.

" We have our regular hot springs, medicine pools, the milk bath, the-

"Ah, could you go back to the milk bath?"

The receptionist had just been speaking so fast, Xiao almost couldn't catch that third option .

The woman seemed to beam when she began her explanation

"It's been a popular choice lately, it gets its name from its milky like appearance. Really it's a naturally occurring calcium spring but our customers have given it such a cute nickname we just had to rebrand; there's all sorts of benefits to taking a soak in it, it can help with dry skin ,stress, some even say it helps with the healing of trauma"

Trauma…. How strangely fitting

Yun Chuan spoke up before he could

"We could take the milk bath"

Lovely…he was really doing this.

"Wonderful choice, now if you could please follow my coworker here…"

Xiao held on to the carry on he'd brought with both hands now as he took a slower pace behind Yun chuan.

And now Li Xiao had ended up here in the changing rooms.

He took a sigh as he began to strip down from his layers, beginning with his many belts to the jacket he always wore and soon after the gloves he never seemed to part with.

Xiao turned to see how Chuan was doing ,only to catch the other man in the act of removing that sweater he was always in.

He gulped, he knew Chuan had intense exercising habits but he never knew just how much they paid off. Frankly his muscles were impressive, his broad shoulders all being shown and that smooth tanned skin being shown off , not a cut or scar on his back

Chuan looked at Xiao's way, did he notice him ogling? His head turned to look in the opposite direction immediately.

"Is everything okay? You seem tense"

..how could he tell him…this was already humiliating and Xiao hadn't even stepped in the spring yet.

"Y.. you can go on without me I'll join you in a bit"

With some reluctance , Chuan went to leave but not before asking again

"If you aren't comfortable you don't have to…"

"I'm fine..I insist "

When he'd reached the spring , Xiao was now down to just a single towel before he got in.

The spring itself was a crafted pool of what looked like smoothed and natural stones. High and thick wooden fences surrounded the entire pool, leaving the night sky open for all to see. Despite the open air, there was a lot of steam and mist coming off of the pool. He wasn't going to get boiled alive in this, was he?

removing the towel and dipping a toe in, deeming the temperature safe actually lukewarm, he stepped into the pool. It was… quite comfortably warm. It wasn't too hot or cold or anything. He stepped further down the wooden steps into the pool and sat down near one of the ledges. He let out a sigh as the warm bath covered him. It was surprisingly comfortable, and just as the receptionist said there was certainly a Murky Whiteness to the water.

"It's not as warm as we thought , isn't it?"

Xiao let out a yelp when another voice piped up, looking further to the edge of the spring was an almost fully submerged Chuan,his head was barely visible and his flattened grey hair was blending into the surrounding water

"What the hell was that!" Xiao asked as he shifted closer to be with him

"Just relaxing" Yun chuan responded while rising ever so slightly up to chest level.

"..you shouldn't have scared me like that, that was foolish…." Li xiao muttered as he sunk into the water his untied salt and pepper hair spreading and seeming to hide him

"Xiao..is sharing a bath with me embarrassing?"

What? No of course not! Well it can be nerve-racking to be in the water completely nude with a man you're attracted to but-

argh!!!

A splash of water caught him off guard, in retaliation he'd rise and splash back .

"You could stand to relax more, y'know?"

An airy laugh escaped from Chuan

Xiao only sunk back down , never wanting to get back up

"If you're nervous about it you can always stay by my side"

He felt an arm around his shoulder pulling him into the warm embrace of Yun Chuan's chest. All Li Xiao wished to do in this very moment was scream internally. This dense prick! If he hadn't known him for long ,Xiao would have thought this was on purpose. But oh he should never underestimate just how dense one man could be, especially with the likes of Chuan.

The way Chuan has Xiao positioned almost makes their size difference look comical, Li xiao was by no means a skinny person. He had training to use his sword for gods sake, but it's just Yun chuan was quite literally built differently

"Have you ever... taken a soak before?"

Chuan's voice was as soft as usual, for how rough he'd believed he sounded. And yet his words gave off an impression of sarcasm. Xiao knew better however , he wasn't stupid he knew all chuan wanted was likely being genuine and xiao could not excuse the embarrassment he had brought upon himself by allowing himself to orchestrate this entire trip.

"Not…not exactly, I never really had free time"

Xiao wasn't lying, even in his previous job he'd work as much overtime as possible with days off also being forced upon him as well there

He didn't want to pull away, in fact he wrapped an arm around Yun chuan trailing down to the chest as if he were close to drowning. He couldn't help but feel his face heat up whenever he even glanced up at Chuan.

Xiao could feel chuan's hand intermingling with his, this was…a lot for one day, his brain was practically on autopilot. Is this what relaxation was like? Slipping his hand from his , Chuan himself placed a hand in Xiao's hair. It had been free from the tightly coiled bun that was usually the norm for him.

Hands carded through tendrils of soft curls leaving Li Xiao shivering at the touch, he desperately never wanted this moment to end. He buried his neck in Chuan's and nuzzled against it.

There's just some time spent in silence, luxuriating in the waters. Usually they'd have much to converse but these were just one of these moments where silence had them bond more than any conversation ever could.

Xiao was the first to speak up

"I…. Think I've gotten my fix of hot springs for…..awhile" he said meekly with his lips almost brushing against Yun chuans ear unintentionally.

He wrapped a free hand around xiao's body and lifted him

"Do you want to go back?" Chuan questions softly the deep hypnotic note of his voice, further spinning him further into this ridiculous fantasy. Xiao opened his eyes and stared into the distance for a moment he did…but didn’t want this fleeting moment of beautiful intimacy to disappear in a cloud of steam never to be seen again. He swore Yun chuan could feel his hesitation as he answered

"I suppose" xiao was still very much within his arms, face pressed against his. Chuan noticed what he didn't state and seemed determined to end this trip on a high note. Slipping his hand from his hair , he took one of Xiao's free hands and wound his fingers through his.

"Well I don't want you getting cold, come on"

Yun chuan rose to his feet, Li Xiao still in his arms. He allowed him to lead him back to the changing rooms, where he produced a fresh towel from his own carrier to wipe down xiao.

This was…intimate, more intimate than he could ever imagine. This entire day didn't feel real and yet Xiao continued to greedily wish her more, to wish for a deeper relationship that would let them have these kinds of days again.

"...just to be clear." Xiao said in the most earnest voice he had a few hours later when they were back home. He was preparing dinner for the both of them

"I didn't mind that…at all"

"Yeah, I think I got the message" chuan replied wryly as he picked at an empty plate

…. again with that straightforward tone..xiao was still reeling from that amount of intimacy in the hot springs. The touch wasn't bad.. in fact he relished it…he really did

"...we could have days like this more often if you'd like" he slid a half of dinner into chuan's plate while saying this

"Sure"

"It doesn't always have to be the springs we could stay at home"

Xiao sat at the table once he'd served his own portion.

My mom has been admitted into the hospital today.

Hey guys, serious post so please treat it as such but genuinely I need commissions. I'm currently at the hospital with my mom and I won't bore any of you anymore with the many issues I have but commissions would be both helpful on her to help pay for things that's are more low priority while bigger money is dealt for bigger things. Nonetheless my point is commissions are open. I'll draw but pieces take longer but I am happy to do Hazbin Hotel, Demon Slayer, and various OCS no matter where they're from so please just ask me.

Hazbin is my biggest fandom right now so I prefer working in that fandom but I can hear others out. I'm a part of quite a few.

Though I can draw I do prefer more writing commissions over other things so please ask for those. At the top of my page it mentions what I will and won't do so please refer to it but I'll write cc x cc, OC x cc, OC x OC, angst, smut, fluff, 3k, 6k, 10k words... Just please look at my account and read everything before commissioning ANYTHING.

I will only take payment as Cash app, Chime, and/or Venmo but I'd really just like to have the money for peace of mind. Don't pm me with offers of other things... warnings: mention of illness, please, if you're sensible to death thoughts derived from illnesses or illness mentions, don't read. || little authour note: as a personal experience with something similar, i never found the strengt to write about it, but i felt that this was the time.

Xiao Yin's pale hands rest on his legs, as he bites his lip. He avoids making eye contact with you, looking around to the decorations of your shared living room. You're sitting on the couch in front of him, calm, but still attentive to the moment he wants to speak. Two cups of tea get cold on the little table near you, long forgotten.

He has told you he needs to say something important to you when you arrived home from work, and you're starting to get nervous. He didn't kiss you when you arrived, even just smile. You fear the moment that your breakup becomes a reality and not a fear product of your imagination.

You didn't notice any change on his behavior until today, and, if he wants to breakup, you'll respect his decision. But, also, you want ot know his reasons, and, in case it is because of a misunderstanding, you're ready to fight until your last breath to fix things and keep the love of your life by your side.

Xiao Yin inhales, his breath trembling, and he takes one hand in the other. His nails scratch softly his palms. He's nervous, and, as much as you try to keep your calm façade on place, it's starting to break just by watching your boyfriend suffer.

"I'm sorry." he says, out of nowhere, and still without looking at you. "It's hard for me to talk about this, but I feel like you need to know." You feel your body in tension, and he takes his gaze down, to his hands, where he keeps scratching. You stretch one of yours until it rests between his. You smile softly to him, as a sign that you're there, with him, and you're not gonna leave him. You'll stay with him until the very end.

"It's alright. You don't need to talk about it if you don't feel like it, Xiao." his eyes shine with tears, but he shakes his head.

"I need to say it, and I need you to know it. I'm not searching your compassion, I just want... I don't know." He takes air again. "I was ill, when I was a kid." he stays silent for a second and, for the first time in all the time you've been there, he looks at you. "I was affected by a heart disease. I grew up in a hospital room. I was only able to read, look through the little window near my hospital bed, and hear the monitor make a sound every single time it detected a slower heartbeat."

You caress his hand with your thumb, slowly, as you feel the tears running your cheeks. He takes air to keep going.

"Then, I inherited the Blue Dragon's spirit, and the disease seemed to disappear. I lived without really worrying about it, I was all alone, working for a group of hunters on the alleys, visiting the places I wanted but without going really far."

You remember the moment you met him, when he was on a mission, slowly guarding the alley near your home, with his sword on one hand and a book on the other. You remember thinking that he was the most handsome man you have ever seen, and specially, the moment your gaze connected with his. You were starstruck by the other. He forgot his mission, you forgot your classes. You spent hours with him, talking, walking around the neighborhood, giving him side.looks and blushing whenever he noticed. You feel like it was love at first sight, and he dropped by your street more, and you looked through the window more. And here you are now, three years later, sharing a flat and making a happy and lovely life by the other's side. You're thankful for having him and he's thankful for letting him stay by your side.

"And then, I met you. I guess it was love at first sight, because since our first encounter, I was naturally attracted to you. I wanted to spend more time with you, to get to know you better, to make you feel loved." He tangles his fingers with yours, before staying silent for a couple seconds, probably thinking what his next words will be. "I don't know if the disease is totally gone." he says, softly, in a whisper. "I never worried about it, I had nothing and no one. But it's different now, because you're here."

Tears run down his cheeks, and his beautiful eyes shine, wet. You take your couch closer, but you feel it isn't enough. You need to show him support. Standing up, you get closer to him, hugging his body as he lets his arms hug your waist, letting you sit on his lap.

You don't know how many time you spend like this, crying on the other's hair, feeling the other's body, heath, love. You want to give him strength to keep talking, to show him that, no matter what, you're by his side. He takes a second before leaving your neck, looking at your face, and softly, with his thumb, taking away a couple tears while his kept falling.

"I have you know here, and I love you. My weak heart belongs to you, and I'm sorry I can't give you anything more. I'm afraid, love." he whispers. "I'm afraid of getting worse again, of making you suffer because of my illness, of making you depend on someone whose heart can fail. I don't want to leave you, but I can't obligate you to stay. I don't know if the Dragon took it away totally, or if it is just momentary. I don't know, and I can't be selfish and ask you to stay by my side without knowing if things will get dark again.".

You can feel the discussion he has with himself, all his fears, all his doubts. You feel his skin way colder now, and his breath keeps being irregular. You know you need to select your words carefully. Taking his face between your hands, softly caressing his cheeks, and with a big smile on your lips, you talk under his attentive look.

"I love you, Xiao Yin. And, please, don't punish yourself for something you can't decide. I understand you feel like that, but still, you gave me the decision to leave or stay, and I'm thankful for that." You take his hair away from his eyes, catching some more tears as his head turns towards your touch. "But I'm going nowhere. I want to stay by your side, and if things get difficult again, I'll be with you. I'll give all my strength to you, I'l make you feel loved, I'll make sure you feel that you're not alone. But, still, you can't decide how your heart works, love." his eyes start to get wet again. "Don't go hard on yourself. Whatever that happens, being it good or bad, I'll stay by your side." his face is twisted on a sad expression, but his eyes express gratitude. "I'm not going nowhere, and please, don't cope with it alone. I'll be here on your bests, and I'll be here on your worsts, if you let me." he buries his head on your neck, and you feel his hot tears on your shoulder, and his irregular breathing against the palm of your hand. "Don't punish yourself, please. You're more than your disease. And I love you with all, with your light and dark parts, with the things you can control and the ones you didn't decide. I love you, Xiao Yin, and I won't leave your side."

He often kept to himself in the past to work and he only really focused on his lab work

Believed that emotions got in the way

You are the reason why he's not so unkept when he goes to work and why his office looks so much better than it used to

If you fuss over him, he may act a bit annoyed

He's not he's just being a tusundere

You don't skip out on the change to fuss over his three-headed pet

It's a pet for crying out loud!

But you still pay attention to your lover a lot

Often when you are with him at work you stay beside him in silence to allow him to do his work

For some reason just being in your presence helps him to concentrate more and now when your gone he finds himself unable to be as productive

So you are now by his side almost all the time and you aren't complaining

Sometimes you even assist in his work by fetching his papers

You also grab water and some food because apparently he hasn't eaten in a hot minute?

No, no, no that simply just won't do

He once found you asleep in the middle of a task as it was late in the night

He decided to just finished things up and go home for the night

He will also fuss over you as well, just in his own way of course

He still believes that emotions get in the way of things, but with you it doesn't really matter, because he enjoys being with you

MHA headcannons for a Esper! S/O

I just realized that nobody was written about Esper! Reader in MHA. Sooooooo Imma be the first (I think)!

The inspo comes from the game Dislyte, the one game that I can't stop playing.

Hi, hello and here are some my hero headcannons on how I think the characters would react to the reader being an Esper. The headcannons will be separate posts cause I have to figure out a lot.

I mean, at least he was calm about it?

You're just looking at him in shock but then realized that he probably doesn't believe you.

You basically sit him down and tell him what an Esper is, what they do and more.

"So you basically got a decent quirk? Ok doll."

You roll your eyes and stand up.

Man's looking at you confused and unimpressed so what do you do?

You drag him out of the base and head to sections of the city that were cut off due to 'monsters'

"Why are we here?"

"You'll see."

Dabi looked at you confused until he heard an explosion and the rumbling of the ground. A glowing purple figure rose from the ground. An voice boomed "Flowerunner".

The figure was almost resembling a person however the being glitched once in a while. The flow symbol on it's chest with two circular rings spinning around the central body as two smaller rings and one singular triangle protected the face. A single ring spun around the neck of the glitching being. Four arms on the being moved in a gentle flowing motion.

"The hell is that?"

"A Flowerunner."

"The fuck's a Flowerunner?!"

"That." You pointed to the being in front of the both of you. "Time to get this over with."

Taking a step forward, (Name) revealed their Esper form as their power and weapons came through. Cue Dabi's confused yet awe look.

"What the FUCK?!"

You turn to Dabi and see his face in shock with a faint blush on his face.

"I- what- HOW?!" Dabi stood there, slack jaw as he stares at his s/o. You simply cross your arms and blast the Flowerunner. Luckily the Flowerunner had low energy and the being collapsed into the ground.

"The battle is over and done."

Dabi just stood still as he waited for you. You go next to him, still in your Esper form. The two of you leave and head back, wanting nothing more than just some quality time together, a chance for Dabi to learn more about Espers and some good food.
