There is so much waisted potential with his character.

Him not being a romance option is an absolute crime. there is so much chemistry with his character, even just as enemy's to friends but seriously he was the perfect candidate for enemy's to friends to lovers.

To change his hair that to me was the biggest insult the awful jacket I could understand, I get the implication of his hair now being shorter (no more long hair in a man bun) could perhaps symbolise his dishonour, if you go with Reed and his life falls apart due to Hanakos death ect but to change his actual hairline is just lazy, like they didnt even care enough about his character to keep his design consistent.

That added vid call for phantom liberty just felt like a half arsed after thought and was a discredit to his character.

This will be a bit of a rant.

Although subsequent patches and the expansion have significantly improved the playability and fun of the game, with each new patch from CDPR I am convinced that when it comes to the character of Goro Takemura, they decided to ignore him completely and reject him.

This character evokes rather negative associations in a lot of people which I understand, although I don't entirely agree. The fact is that Takemura is one of the main characters in this game - he accompanies us for quite a long time (the entire act 2?) and even one of the endings is affected by the choices you make with him. We spend more time with Goro than we spend with Jackie and maybe even Kerry and River.

In Phantom Liberty and with each subsequent improvement of the game, nothing significant related to Takemura was added. You may even have noticed, at some point the character's clothes and hairstyle were changed - the characteristic hairline (widows peak) magically disappeared. It seems almost like negligence. He is after all one of the main characters. You cannot proceed in the game without interactions with his character.

And we already know that one scene from the moment when Takemura is being patched up by Vik is missing. Why did they remove it? (It's the part when V can see Takemura being patched up by Vik, Takemura is on the netrunner chair and a big stain of blood is visible on his clothes).

Takemura is a brilliantly written character, can be interpreted in many different ways, is multi-dimensional, is a contrast to Johnny (although they have a lot in common) and I can't understand why CDPR decided to abandon the development of his character.

I'm not even mentioning the fact that Goro was supposed to be a romance option for female V, which was never completed. Instead it was ‘worth’ every penny and effort to make Meredith Stout a romanceable character albeit not meaningful. Which is yet again to appeal to male gamers. By the way, it seems that 3 out of four romances (+Meredith) are catered for male audience. River romance is just poorly done...

I'm even more surprised that they didn't even find a way to show how Takemura fights without his implants active. A small patch could add fights with the assassins sent by Yorinobu - so they don't happen only on the highway. I was hoping they would add at least this, some side mission, messages or anything. I know I'm not the only one who thinks this is a big letdown. Goro Takemura didn't even get to be on the cover of the Ultimate Edition (V and Johnny, Reed as Militech route, and Goro as Arasaka).

Invite your love interest to your apartment? Why not invite Takemura (even without the romance thing) for ramen?

A great day for a picnic, something many thought about and so there were many people in the parks to picnic, exercise, play and many other things

But meanwhile, inside a forest where death always stalked, there were also people having a picnic.

"Open your little mouth wide~" A (h/c) woman says while holding a fork full of caramelized pancake in front of a 2 meter tall man

This 7-foot man with a frightening presence could be none other than Doom, the first son of Innocent Zero and the first Devil Quintuplet, was being fed by a smaller woman as if he were her own son.

"...Are you really sure (Name)?" Doom says with a curious tone, wondering how the hell he got into this situation.

'Did I forget something?' Doom think while trying to remember some important event that happened on June 18th, nothing came into his mind...

'Maybe it's some random event she's talking about, but which one?' He thinks while trying to remember if she mentioned any event that occurred on June 18th, nothing came to mind...

"Today is international picnic day" (Name) decides to help Doom, "Ah..." That was the only thing Doom said

...Silence fell around the two...

'You should get rid of the girl as soon as possible' Those were exactly the words his father said to him when he quoted (Name) to himself

It was a perfect moment... He just needs to grab Caleborg, who was by his side, and in just one blow she will be lying on the towel being swallowed by her own blood

"Are you thinking about killing me?" (Name) says out of nowhere while eating a sandwich and taking Doom out of his thoughts

"Sometimes I wonder how you can read me so well" Doom replies as he decides to pick a blueberry from the plate that (Name) took out specifically for him

"I don't even know, when I realize what I said, you agree with me, I think it's a sixth sense~" (Name) says proudly as he takes another bite of the sandwich

Doom stays silent as he listens to (Name) hum and praise herself for making you such a good sandwich, he could attack you now but...

He can't, no... he doesn't want to...

Doom lost count of how many times there were opportunities to exterminate her and at every moment she knew and instead of running away, or asking for mercy, or trying to fight back, she just shrugs her shoulders and goes back to doing what she was doing like that exact moment. time

She knows that under no circumstances would he ever kill or betray her, and he knew that she would never kill or betray him, but even so it seems that the one who fell further down the rabbit hole was Doom and now he has his little finger wrapped around him. of this woman without magic

"Heh~" Doom laughs making (Name) look at him with slight confusion

Sensing her gaze, Doom then asks "What spell have you placed on me that even my father can't undo?"

"...Who knows? Maybe I'll keep it a secret and take it to my grave~" (Name) replies smiling making her eyes shine like precious stones

"Then take this to the grave..." Doom says as he brings one of his large hands to (Name's) cheek, which he couldn't help but notice was warm and there were small crumbs and instinctively he moves his thumb to removing the crumbs, making pupilless eyes that couldn't see be watched by (e/c) eyes that saw the soft side of Innocent Zero's first son

"Because you are the only one who can put this spell on me"

"And of course I know that, besides no one would put up with someone like you" (Name) responds laughing while observing Doom's perplexed reaction

"What do you mean someone like me?!?" Doom asks with confusion and indignation that his own girlfriend said that about him.

"You know, with all your talk about power, your disappointments when your opponents don't perform as you expected and so on, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told you to vent these problems to your girlfriend, aka me" She explains while pointing with her hand who held the sandwich

"...I regret what I said" Doom says as he cuts a piece of the half-cut pancake and puts it in his mouth

"Too late! I've already recorded it in my memory and I will disturb you with it until I forget and when someone says something that reminds me of this I will continue to disturb you into forgetting and the cycle starts again" (Name) responds while sticking out her tongue jokingly

Doom couldn't help but snort at her words

Tbh it’s always annoyed me how the Spider-Verse fandom mischaracterizes Pav

The fandom literally just watered him down to the ‘chai tea’ joke and it’s so annoying. You can’t have a discussion about Pav’s character without someone going “Oh yeah the chai tea guy hahaha!”

The chai tea thing was funny for maybe two weeks after the movie released, then the fandom started overusing it and it got old really fast.

They don’t even appreciate Pav’s character and will just portray him as a ‘innocent little sunshine baby cinnamon roll!’, or just plain stupid. Instead of appreciating his character and how he’s written, they just reduce him to this one joke and completely ignore all of his other qualities. So, I'm five episodes in, having a blast. So I guess it's first impressions time.

Phryne - glorious and yes, definitely Jenny in the 20's (and did I mention how much I have always loved the 20's). Jenny needed some of those outfits, she'd have slayed. But I digress. So, clearly came from a poor background and a nurse during the war. Some troubling stuff has been hinted at and I guess we'll find out some day. I love the fact that she just does her thing and hang the rest. I love that she sees something (or someone) she wants and takes it (him). I am outraged at how many people seem to think that they can shoot at her, manhandle her and hit her with books, crow bars and the like. Up with this I shall not put! Anyway, she's 😍 Hard to pick a favourite moment but swinging off the back of a train was a highlight

Jack - I love his face, and yes, he has the same still-waters-run-deep feel as Giles, the same soft and somewhat sad face. Giles needs Jack's hats and that long coat, I swear to god!! But back to Jack. Also in the war, clearly not a good time :/ and now we have it, his wife has essentially left him. Damn that ending. They both know that's fucked that then 😭 Of course that won't stop them invading each other's personal space and sharing drinks and confidences, and generally driving each other (and me) insane. Not liking his wife that much right now 😡 maybe we'll get more on that. Anyway, he has a certain air of melancholy that I ALWAYS find attractive. Mr Butler - mind reader, ready for anything, has taken to Phryne remarkably well, could have been a bit of a cliched disapproving butler, so glad he's not, I like the slight hints at the relationship between him and Dot - Favourite moment - him having the right vase ready for the flowers

Jane - so glad she got adopted 😁 I love that Phryne backs her up and that Jane is a super sluth too. Nobody better come near her or I will throw hands! Favourite moment - giving Phryne the diary

Aunt P - As a long time fan of Miriam Margolyes I LOVE HER. MM does disapproval so well (which is hysterical given her personality - I was listening to Radio 4 recently when she was talking about Jeremy Hunt (the original rhyming slang), and I quote “The thing is, when I saw him there, I just said, ‘you’ve got a hell of a job, best of luck’. And what I really wanted to say was, ‘fuck you, bastard’. But you can’t say that!” I lmfao) Favourite moment - damn that's hard, any time she looks outraged by Phryne

Bert and Cec - I'll be honest, I don't know which is which but they're great guys, who I always enjoy, and Phryne definitely needs them watching her back!!!! Favourite moment - being hood winked into helping Phyrne move house

Favourite episode - possibly the train one (I'm not sure, was that 1x03? I don't know the titles in English I'm afraid). I mean it had the first no-understanding-of-personal-space moment that was 100% blatant IMO lol (although the 1x04 gratin moment diserves an honourable mention and elevates that entire episode 😁). tbh I've thoroughly enjoyed them all

Normally I give a review but I'm not going to do that this time.

I've seen a lot of people not understanding Wanda in this movie.

As someone who knows a lot about mental health I was not cheering her on like a hero or a girlboss, because that's apparently a popular take I've been seeing. I was only thinking she needs to get better and that she needs self help first. She needs to heal and be happy with herself like strange was at the end of the movie. She needs more time to work through her loss and issues.

I see people saying she diserves her children. Those are not her children... At all. She doesn't diserve kids she diserves healing. She's having delusions and Wanda vision was not the end of them. Breaking out of something like that where she was harming a whole City and doing so without realizing fully. That's something where realizing an accepting is the first step. She's not ready for a happy ending.

Now I've also seen people say she should have got together with America Chavez because they were both lonely.

She should have!

Accept she doesn't want to be a mom she wants to hold onto an idea of what she sees as happiness and normal. She has a narrow minded view of wanting these kid's. They're hers! Except they are not her kids! She is not deserving of them not yet. She needs to get better first.

Strange was in the same positions as her. He'd lost a lot too. Strange was lonely too. He diserves America Chavez and the relationship they formed. He worked for it, he proved himself worthy of it. Wanda could have had that but she chose violence for the sake of the one peace her mind could see. Most everyone in universe 616 are experiencing loss and heartbreak over Thanos. She's being selfish and not thinking about others if she's like that she can't be a mother. Not right now, not yet.

I love Wanda alright, but saying she was in the right? No. Please treat mental breaks and delusions seriously. Even if she could have her kids she wouldn't be happy or better. She needs to fix herself to find happiness, she can be happy with what she has a build off that. If you love Wanda you should know she needs help not being forgiven for trying to steal kids that weren't her's because she's broken and grieving.

Some of the things other people have been saying is making me so concerned for all of you. Wanda wasn't okay or in the right please love her they way she should be loved and not loved for her delusions. She doesn't have a family and has always lost hers. She can find peace and love in others she can but she wants something that isn't hers.

The movie also wasn't bad for making her in the wrong and not giving her happiness. Apparently some people think that. It's okay for her to feel this way to get lost and her story isn't over, she's not gone she's important in marvel comics and and with the multiverse. She's be fine, just let her continue her character development it did not get better at the end of the show. This movie is another turning point for her.

What she's done is not alright but she can make up for it. It's alright for her to repeat mistakes to not get better the first time. It's more lessons to have later for when she's better. She's at a low and feeling lost. Let her be a broken person that just needs love and to find herself not a woman obsessed with something that is not hers and is a distraction to her pain. She doesn't love those kids, she needs them and wants them to feel better, important, and normal.

So love broken Wanda, not for her warped dreams, but for the woman underneath who just needs to love herself not obsessing over someone else's kids.

His hair was originally really dark burgundy that he bleached, when he did it turned into the color it is right now. He wanted to bleach his hair again and dye it blonde like all might but it was so damaged he couldn’t do anything to it without it all immediately turning to straw.

Spinner uses his scales to sharpen knives, it works alarmingly well. He isn’t necessarily cold blooded but he’s close enough that he can’t be outside during the winter without like Canadian dead-of-winter gear. Spinner can’t get most human diseases but he Shure can get lizard ones, the lov has robbed more reptile supplies stores then they have killed people at this point. He actually has really curly hair but he has damaged it to the point it isn’t obvious other than the fact it sticks strait up. He molts and when he eats the skin like he is supposed to twice cries  Becuse of how his mouth works he can’t say certain words He has the best vision in the lov and that is the only reason he drives He cannot actually drive None of the lov can actually drive He once ate a cricket becuse he lurnt lizards eat crickets and thought it was actually pretty good. He is not aloud to have alcohol becuse he is a lightweight with a huge amount of knives. He got shigiraki to lend him his copy of gta5 for “driving practice”  he’s the only living lov member who can sew, magne could also sew and was the one who originally did all the sewing for the lov but after she died he is the one who took up the mantal He knew dabi before the lov and was the one who made his jacket. He calls people without physical mutations slurs for people with physical mutations just to see how they react. One time someone asked him if he was Jewish and he punched them in the face for being antiemetic.  His morals directly oppose bigotry stfu if you think he would let any of the lov be a bigot. Like if he had been there when overhall misgendered magne that arc would have been over.

Jaskier had seen this scenario one too many times.

He’d suffered all throughout his childhood, watching you pin and chase after someone you’d met and spoken to for only 10 minutes.

When you were younger, it was a boy from the town you’d lived in who’d come up to you and Jaskier to play.

There was this one boy, named Vildin, who you spent the majority of your adolescent teen years chasing. Vildin never noticed you though. Any attempt to gain his attention seemed to fail.

That time in your life ended in embarrassment and you crying on Jaskier’s shoulder from the afternoon until the next morning.

Now, though, you’d find a guy at whatever tavern Jaskier was playing at for the night and shamelessly flirt all night until he inevitably either left with another woman or used you as a one-night-stand.

Every night he had to see this, it broke Jaskier’s heart. Knowing that you were in for more heartbreak from a man who would never treat you the way he was meant to.

Tonight, your love of choice was a tall blonde man who had already had far too much to drink and was hardly paying attention to your advances.

Jaskier sat alone at one of the two seat tables, head on his hand, sulking.

“So, uh... you come here often?” You ask awkwardly.

Without even looking at you the man says, “No. just passing through.”

His answers are short and to the point, leaving you to have to carry the whole conversation.

“Oh, cool. So like are you a hunter or...?”

“Maybe.”

You roll your eyes and huff, tapping your fingers on the table trying to think of another question.

“So what’s your name anyway?” You ask brightly.

“Fedort.”

“Fedort? That’s such a nice name. I’m Y/F/N. But everyone calls me Y/N!”

Without a word of acknowledgment, Fedort stands and grabs your wrist. Dragging you to his rented room.

Jaskier stands distantly following you two.

“Hey, man! We barely even know each other! Shouldn’t you buy me dinner first?” You attempt to free your wrist - but to no avail.

He grunts and slams you against the wall of the hallway.

“O-or maybe just a drink?” You offer, trying to lighten the mood.

“Or, I can have my way with you. I’m sure I can find a way to shut you up,” he grabs your face, squishing your lips up.

Fedort leans in trying to kiss you. You push him off, making a disgusted noise at him.

Before you have time to think, his hand comes down fast and hard - connecting with your cheekbone. A ring he’s wearing cuts you, blood quickly running down your face.

You bring a hand up to your face, touching the warm liquid.

“Hey! Fucker!”

Both your heads snap to the side to see Jaskier, angrily strutting up to the mountainous man.

Jaskier was never one to pick fights, especially with a man twice his size and quadruple his strength. But this was a special occasion. This asshat had just hurt you.

“Huh?” Fedort grunted stupidly.

“Leave the lady alone. Just walk to your room and we can forget all this happened. And I won’t have to let Jessibelle know you’re causing a ruckus in her tavern. Hm?” Jaskier wavers.

The man stomps toward Jasker with intent.

“I don’t listen to bards.”

With reflexes Jaskier never knew he had - though he had learned to be particularly evasive when running from angry husbands - he yanked his lute off his back, turned to the side as Fedort stupidly ran past, and smashed the wooden instrument against the man’s head.

Fedort stood still for a moment, then almost comically, fell to the ground.

Jaskier dropped the still-intact lute neck and ran to you.

“My God, Y/N! Heavens, are you okay?” He kneeled town to the spot you’d slumped to and grabbed your face.

“Yeah... yeah I think I’m fine. Just shaken is all,” you look into Jaskier’s eyes and smile genuinely at him.

He smiles back and gently grabs your hand, walking you back to your shared room. You cautiously step over the unconscious Fedort and walk away without looking back.

“Hey. What about your lute?” You ask, looking at him.

“Oh, don’t worry about it,” he waves his hand. “I can get another. There’s a wood worker just down the street. I can go tomorrow and get a new one made.”

He smiles at you before opening the door to your room and making you sit down on the edge of the bed.

He grabs a washcloth and wets it in the basin, walking over to the bed and croutching down infront of you.

He lightly taps the cloth to your cut, cleaning up the now unflowing blood.

You quickly draw in breath and try and pull away from him.

“Hold still! How am I ever going to get you cleaned up if you keep moving away from me,” Jaskier scolds.

“I wouldn’t be pulling away if you weren’t pressing so hard,” you push back.

“Well, I wouldn’t have to be cleaning you up if you’d stop running after men whom you don’t deserve!”

“W- what?” You look at him.

“Y/N. You diserve someone who will cherish and value you. Not some sleazy, tavern-dweller who stinks of ale and only cares about his own ugly needs,” he looks away from you, the tension’s too much for him.

“Jask, love, look at me,” you place a hand on his cheek, guiding him to face you. “What are you on about?”

He bites his lip. “Love, I’ve had to watch you chase after men who don’t care for anyone but themselves. Who won’t give you the time of day, much less the love and care you so much deserve. And every time a man throws you out, I’m there to pick you back up, get you back on your feet, only for you to run right back into the uncaring arms of an absentminded man.”

He takes in a breath. You’re still forcing him to look at you.

“You don’t deserve that. You deserve a man who..,” he thinks for a moment. “Who is a man. Who cares for you. Who won’t throw you to the wayside when he’s done with you.”

You look at him, love in your eyes. You guide his face to yours, connecting your lips with his in a passionate kiss that’s waited too long to be had.

You grab his face with your other hand as well, pushing his face harder into yours. His hands fall to your hips as he rubs circles with his thumbs.

You’re broken out of the trance with a knock at the door. “JASKIER! Why is there an unconscious man with a broken lute on his head in my hallway?!” A woman calls from the other side of the door.

You laugh quietly as Jasker frantically moves to the door, opening it to reveal a red faced Jessibelle.

“Jessie! Hi. Well, you see. This man was uh,” he struggles to come up with an excuse. “he was causing quite the racket and then he charged at me. So. I did the only thing a brave man such as my self could do,” he gestures to himself. “I smashed my lute on his head. To... um. Slow him down?”

Jessibelle rolls her eyes and huffs. “Your paying for the labor of cleaning him off my floor,” she points a finger in his face then slams the door.

Jaskier turns to you. You giggle at him and walk over to where he’s standing. “Now. Where were we?”

You wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him again. He dips you slightly and you smile.

You pull him towards one of the beds, pushing him down onto it. He smiles as you move to straddle him, leaning down to kiss him.

You start to unbutton his top when he grabs your wrists. “Love, are you sure?”

“Yes. Why? Do you not want to?” You ask, worried that you’ve overstepped.

“No. No. I was just making sure you didn’t feel obligated to. Is all,” he releases your wrists and you grin at him.

“What did I ever do to deserve you?”
