I don’t think Discworld could be adapted well with a live action medium, but having Con O’Neill play Sam Vimes would be the MOST INCREDIBLE casting choice ever.

Like he would NAIL the grizzled and exhausted, but unendingly determined nature of Vimes. Con would OWN the journey that Vimes goes on to fiercely fight against intolerance, even if he’s a little confused about certain things lmao

Also I had a dream last night that Monstrous Regiment got a TV adaptation and Con O’Neill was cast as Jackrum. Which I don’t think is ideal because he’s not fat enough to be Jackrum, but I do love the ideal of him playing the trans father figure looking after his little lads (gender neutral.)

Well, I picked out a shirt to wear Saturday. It’s one of Mom’s, mostly because I’ve been too busy and in too much pain to hunt one of mine. This was right there at the top if some of her Discworld stuff, sooo…

It’s tangible connection to Mom who would so be there if she were still able. I’ll be alone, with no friends to even meet up with, so it’s kind of nice.

Of course, now I might have to worry about people wanting to talk to me about Discworld. I’ve read a few of the books, but Mom was the total fangirl. I’m too honest to bluff through on second hand knowledge and **faint memories of books I read as a teenager.
