"Sa Pusod ng Alon at Bulkan: Pagtuklas sa Camiguin"

Ang maliit na isla ng Camiguin ay matatagpuan sa hilaga ng Mindanao at nag-aalok ng napakagandang tanawin. Ang mga natural na tanawin, maiinit na bukal, at mga makasaysayang pook ay nagpapakilala dito. Sa kabila ng katotohanan na ang Camiguin ay isang probinsya na hindi kasing sikat ng iba pang mga lugar sa Pilipinas, pero aking natitiyak na magugustuhan ng mga turista ang mga natatanging tanawin at kultura nito. Kilala din ito bilang "Isla na Ipinanganak ng Apoy" dahil sa pinagmulan nitong bulkaniko. Mayroong pitong bulkan ang isla, kabilang na ang aktibong Bulkan na pinangalangang Hibok-Hibok. Ang mga bulkan na ito ay naghubog sa tanawin ng isla at lumikha ng mga natural na atraksyon tulad ng mga bukal at talon na matatagpuan sa Dagat Bohol, sa hilagang baybayin ng Mindanao.

Kasiyahang kaalaman:

Sunken Cemetery- Ang Sunken Cemetery ay isa sa mga pinakasikat na tanawin sa Camiguin, ito ay isang sementeryo na nalunod sa dagat dahil sa isang malakas na pagputok ng bulkan noong 1871. Ngayon, makikita ang mga lumang cross sa ilalim ng tubig, at maaari itong bisitahin gamit ang mga bangka.

Nagawa kong bisitahin ang "Sunken Cemetery" na isa sa kanilang pinagmamalaki bilang parte ng kasaysayan, ang lugar ay tahimik at mahiwaga. Nang kami ay lumangoy upang mas makita ang kasaysayan sa ilalim ng karagatan nakita ko ang sementeryong noo'y nasa kalupaan, nasa ilalim man ng karagatan nanatili padin itong payapa. At sa pagtuklas sa Sunken Cemetery aking napagtanto na hindi masisira ng isang trahedya ang kagandahan ng lugar na ito bagkos ito ay naging kaisa at naging mahiwagang istorya ng paraiso.

Bilang isang manlalakbay ito pa ang isa sa mga hindi dapat palampasin pagdating sa Camiguin, ang kanilang mga kakanin.

Kilala ang Camiguin sa iba't-ibang kakanin gaya na lamang ng Kalamay na gawa sa malagkit, gata ng niyog at asukal. At ang kanilang Binaki na gawa sa mais, gata ng niyog, at asukal. Ibinabalot ito sa dahon ng mais at niluluto sa ibabaw ng uling, kaya't may natatanging usok na lasa. Karaniwan itong matamis at malinamnam.

Pero ang pinaka espesyal sa lahat ay ang Pastel na kakanin sa Camiguin, ang Pastel ay isang matamis na tinapay na may malambot na masa at karaniwang may malasa at malapot na palaman tulad ng yema perpekto bilang pasalubong para sa kaibigan at pamilya.
