Swing Smart, Spend Smart: Your Guide to Budget-Friendly Golfing Nearby
Golf, often referred to as the gentleman's game, is not just a sport; it's an experience. The lush green landscapes, the rhythmic swing of the club, and the thrill of hitting the perfect shot make it a beloved pastime for many. However, as much as we love golf, sometimes our wallets don't quite share the same sentiment. But fear not, fellow golfers! This guide is here to help you discover the joy of golfing without breaking the bank. Get ready to uncover the secrets of last-minute golf deals, affordable courses nearby, and strategies for discounted green fees.
Last-Minute Golf: A Hole-in-One Opportunity
Ever felt the sudden urge to play a round of golf without prior planning? Last-minute golf offers the perfect solution. Courses often have unbooked slots, especially during weekdays. Grab this opportunity and enjoy a spontaneous game while benefiting from lower rates.
Affordable Golf Near Me: Unearthing Hidden Gems
You don't need to travel far to find a budget-friendly golf course. Use Last Minute Golf as the main resource to discover lesser-known courses nearby that offer excellent experiences without the hefty price tag.
Decoding Cheap Golf Rates
Understanding golf rates can be as tricky as a challenging fairway. Look for courses that offer twilight rates, allowing you to play during the quieter hours of the day at reduced costs. Additionally, some courses offer discounts for seniors, students, or local residents.
Teeing Off on Discounted Green Fees
Discounted green fees are like finding a rare birdie. Keep an eye out for special promotions, loyalty programs, or bundle deals that can significantly reduce your overall expenses.
The Art of Budget-Friendly Golfing
Golfing smart doesn't mean compromising on the experience. Opt for walking instead of using a cart to save on rental fees and get some extra exercise. Pack your own snacks and drinks to avoid clubhouse prices.
Playing More, Paying Less: Membership Perks
Consider becoming a member of a golf club. While this might involve an initial investment, the long-term benefits include access to exclusive events, discounted rates, and a sense of belonging to a golfing community.
DIY Golf: Creating a Backyard Putting Green
Can't always make it to the course? Bring the course to your backyard by creating a DIY putting green. It's a fun project that can help you practice your short game without spending a fortune.
Swinging Through Seasons: Off-Peak Advantage
Playing golf during the off-peak season can be a game-changer for your wallet. Courses often offer lower rates during these times, and you get to enjoy a quieter atmosphere on the greens.
Mastering Your Swing on a Shoestring Budget
Improving your swing doesn't have to mean expensive lessons. Take advantage of online tutorials and practice drills to enhance your skills without emptying your wallet.
Borrow Instead of Buy: Renting Equipment
Golf equipment can be pricey, especially for beginners. Instead of splurging on brand-new gear, consider renting clubs and other equipment until you're sure you're committed to the game.
The 19th Hole: Savvy Spending at the Clubhouse
After a satisfying round of golf, treat yourself at the clubhouse without overspending. Opt for budget-friendly menu options and skip the expensive cocktails.
Slicing Costs: Tips for Avoiding Extra Charges
Before booking a tee time, inquire about any additional charges that might catch you off guard. Knowing about cart fees, caddy charges, and other extras beforehand can save you from unexpected expenses.
Golfing Community: Sharing Cost-Saving Insights
Connect with fellow golfers to share tips and tricks for saving money on the greens. Online forums and social media groups can be treasure troves of valuable information about budget-friendly golfing.
Practicing Patience: Waiting for Sales
Just like waiting for the perfect swing, patience is key when it comes to snagging deals on golf equipment or apparel. Keep an eye out for sales and discounts, especially during the end-of-season clearance.
Conclusion: Your Affordable Golfing Journey
Golfing on a budget is not just about finding the lowest prices; it's about enjoying the game while being mindful of your spending. With a little research, creativity, and a willingness to explore new options, you can savor every swing without worrying about the cost.

Could you tell me more of your AU?
Hmmm
Well for starters, they're in college and they're about 18. They live in Los Angeles
Vera, Jane Dante live in the same apartment, and the seven live above the fighting school they're mom owns.
The college they go is surprisingly near, about a ten minute walk from where the seven live and a twenty minute one for the trio. I wan to add they're courses but I'll save that for another post.
They're pretty popular. Jane, Vera and Dante hold comedy web show and have the seven be there occasionally even play music.
Cece is well known for her streams, sometimes her family appears behind her during her streams and her viewers love those random moments. She earns big money.
The 7sins is sometimes preform live but they mostly upload they songs.
They're mom came to college once, and almost everyone fell for her. For two weeks they had to endure people asking if they can meet they're mom and have people coming to her school to talk to her.
One time someone sang they're own version of Stacy's mom about theirs, they had to hold themselves back from murdering them.
They all get discounts from Dante's mom's boutique.
They all hang out in cafe restaurant where the seven work. They're very popular with customers with they're looks.
The girls love to tease they're brothers whenever they go on a date. They'd say 'use protection!" or 'remember to wear a condom!"
The boys would tell them to shut up or throw things at them.
Speaking of which, I found name for they're gfs.
Alice - Roxy
Ariel - Misty
Snow white - Stephanie
Aurora - Elodie
The boys are a bit possessive of they're gfs cause they experienced some heartbreak before meeting them.
Everyone is praying to whichever god they believe in for Ver and Jane to reveal they're feeling for each other. Cause it's eating everyone up.
Vera and Cece both like to make weird food concoctions that makes everyone question they're taste buds.
Dante likes to rant to Jack on how oblivious Jane and Vera are too each other while Jack calls him a hypocrite in his head.
Malachite looks out for his siblings in his own way, he's the oldest and since they have no father he tries to fill that role they're mother has done for years.
Joe's beginning his own business online with Misty, who makes jewelry out of seashells and other stuff.
Vince secretly love smut novels, no matter how bad it is.
Zuri and Jane train together and often test their strength. Sometimes they spar.
Nadia took up pole dancing lessons, mostly for the leg strength and flexibility.
The boys are protective of their sisters, but the girls will physically attack anyone who insults they're brothers. They give them chocolate to calm them down.
They have movie night every Friday and have a schedule on who picks what movie.
They're all friends with Vera's brother and often like to hang out with him.
Whenever they have a bad week, they go to an open field and play watermelon golf to release their anger.

Who wants a full comparison of episodes 1, 25, and 111 of Welcome to Night Vale? Because I love comparing these episodes and also I have no impulse control. Let’s go
(Spoilers up to episode 111, obviously. Also, I’ll bold every other segment so that it’s easier to tell which ones I’m comparing)
((This is gonna be an incredibly long post. I’m very sorry))
A friendly desert community, where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep. Welcome to Night Vale. (1)
A friendly desert community, where the sun is still hot, the moon still beautiful, and mysterious lights still pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep. Welcome to Night Vale. (25)
A friendly desert community, where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead, while we lay open eyed, watching it all. Welcome to Night Vale. (111)
Hello listeners. To start things off, I’ve been asked to read this brief notice. The City Council announces the opening of a new Dog Park at the corner of Earl and Summerset, near the Ralphs. They would like to remind everyone that dogs are not allowed in the Dog Park. People are not allowed in the Dog Park. It is possible you will see hooded figures in the Dog Park. do not approach them. Do not approach the Dog Park. The fence is electrified and highly dangerous. Try not to look at the Dog Park and especially do not look for any period of time at the hooded figures. The Dog Park will not harm you. (1)
One single year since two major events in our town’s history. First, the opening of our lovely, state-of-the-art Dog Park, which is forbidden, and which I will not mention again. (25)
The City Council reiterated for the 1,874th consecutive day that the Dog Park is off limits for both dogs and humans. The fence is electrified and highly dangerous etc. Hooded figures and all that. Since its construction we have shied from and feared the Dog Park. The Dog Park is neither a park nor for dogs, and so what does it even mean to call it a dog park? Why do we use language that means one thing to describe something that is entirely else? I don’t know what the word is for that place the City Council calls the dog park, but I do know it’s time to start searching for that word, and once found, to use it boldly. (111)
And now the news. Old Woman Josie, out near the car lot, says the Angels revealed themselves to her. Said they were ten feet tall, radiant, one of them was black. Said they helped her with various household chores. One of them changed a light bulb for her, the porch light. She’s offering to sell the old light bulb, which has been touched by an angel (it was the black angel, if that sweetens the pot for anyone). If you’re interested, contact Old Woman Josie. She’s out near the car lot. (1)
[none] (25)
The angels, who I can now say are angels, and will say are angels, because they are angels, held a memorial for Old Woman Josie in her house. Everyone in town came, overcome with a feeling that finally they could look at these beings and recognize them for what they were. Even the City Council attended the memorial, but refused to make eye contact with anyone. Of course, this positive, concrete identification only led to more mysteries, for if these are angels, then where did they come from? And what does that mean for us? Even now we find that we cannot voice these questions. Not because we are not allowed. But because we cannot find the words to ask. Instead we ate cake and drank coffee in the living room of Old Woman Josie, which was once just that, a place she lived. Now it is only a room. One by one, we laid our hand on the Angels’ hands, and in that moment of contact each of us, in turn, found ourselves weeping. As the party wound down, we all heard a soft pop outside. It was the lightbulb on Old Woman Josie’s porch, burning out. (111)
A new man came in to town today. Who is he? What does he want from us? Why his perfect and beautiful haircut? Why his perfect and beautiful coat? He says he is a scientist. Well, we have all been scientists at one point or another in our lives. But why now? Why here? And just what does he plan to do with all those beakers and humming electrical instruments in that lab he’s renting, the one next to Big Rico’s Pizza. No one does a slice, like Big Rico. No one. (1)
Second, and more important, it is one year since the arrival in Night Vale of our most beloved and singular citizen. (25)
A man who I know very well came into my house today, which is also his house. He laid his head, with its perfect and beautiful hair, upon my shoulder, and crossed his arms over his perfect and beautiful lab coat. I embraced him. We are creatures of touch, humans, and we retrieve so much meaning and happiness from contact. “I have become too complacent,” he said. “When I came here, I understood this town as scientifically fascinating. And then, gradually, it became my day to day life. I could no longer see the strangeness, but only my home.” “We are all guilty of that,” I said. “But I am a scientist,” he said.“Well,” I said. “We have all been scientists at one point or another in our lives.” (111)
Just a reminder to all the parents out there. Let’s talk about safety when taking your children out to play in the scrub lands and the sand wastes. You need to give them plenty of water, make sure there’s a shade tree in the area, and keep an eye on the helicopter colors. Are the unmarked helicopters circling the area black? Probably World Government, not a good area for play that day. Are they blue? That’s the Sheriff’s Secret Police, they’ll keep a good eye on your kids, and hardly ever take one. Are they painted with complex murals depicting birds of prey diving? No one knows what those helicopters are, or what they want. Do not play in the area. Return to your home and lock the doors until a Sheriff’s Secret Policeman leaves a carnation on your porch to indicate that the danger has passed. Cover your ears to blot out the screams. Also, remember: Gatorade is basically soda, so give your kids plain old water and maybe some orange slices when they play. (1)
Parents: Let’s talk about safety when taking your children to play out in the scrub lands and the sand wastes. All children in Night Vale are missing this week, so there’s no current safety issues. Hope we find them! (25)
Just a reminder to all the parents out there. Let’s talk about safety when taking your children out to play in the scrub lands and the sand wastes. You need to give them plenty of water, make sure there’s a shade tree in the area, and keep an eye on the helicopter colors. I asked my best friend and brother, Steve, to talk me through which helicopters belong to which organizations. Obviously the black helicopters belong to the World Government, although I had not realized, until Steve laid it out for me, how closely they are also associated with the Lizard People. The blue ones are Sheriff’s Secret Police, the pink ones are the new Double Secret Police, and the ones painted with complex murals depicting birds of prey diving? Well not even Steve knows what those helicopters are, nor what they want. On Steve’s chart, those are just labeled with the word RUN and then a few hundred exclamation points. (111)
A commercial airliner flying through local airspace disappeared today, only to reappear in the Night Vale Elementary gymnasium during basketball practice, disrupting practice quite badly. The jet roared through the small gym for only a fraction of a second, and before it could strike any players or structure, it vanished again, this time apparently for good. There is no word yet on if or how this will affect the Night Vale Mountain Lion’s game schedule, and also if this could perhaps be the work of their bitter rivals, the Desert Bluffs Cacti. Desert Bluffs is always trying to show us up through fancier uniforms, better pre-game snacks, and quite possibly by transporting a commercial jet into our gymnasium, delaying practice for several minutes at least. For shame, Desert Bluffs. For shame. (1)
In other news, a commercial airliner appeared today inside the home of surprised Night Vale citizen Becky Canterbury, who said she was about to get in the shower when it roared down her hallway and then disappeared, as suddenly as it had arrived. There is no conclusive evidence that this is the same airliner last seen in the Night Vale Elementary gym one year ago, but we have jumped to that conclusion and will defend it against all naysayers, violently and without mercy. Our truths may or may not be true, but they are ours, and we stand by them, even as the experts and skeptics hold aloft clipboards and intone to us about snow and mountains. Becky added that she would like to take that shower now, and that she has no idea how we managed to arrive for an interview mere seconds after the incident occurred. “My doors are locked.” she said. “My windows too. I’ve had my eyes shut for years. How did you get in here?” (25)
A commercial airliner flying through local airspace disappeared today, only to reappear at the fifth hole of the Sagebrook Pines Private Golf Club and Bulk Supplier. This disrupted all golf activities badly, as well as scaring a family of four who were perusing bulk paper towels offered at a discount price in a nearby sandtrap. I feel, for the first time, that I can articulate that this airliner had flown into some other universe, those divisions being particularly thin here in our quaint little community. This also is the cause of things like dead relatives occasionally joining us for breakfast, or the shimmering skyscrapers and crowded cities that appear for flashing moments in the sky. Of course, it also could be the handywork of the East Night Vale Cacti, the basketball team at the new East Night Vale Elementary School. Those scamps are always pulling pranks. Could they transport a large plane through multiple universes? Who am I to say? But probably yes. For shame, East Night Vale. For shame. (111)
The local chapter of the NRA is selling bumper stickers as part of their fundraising week. They sent the station one to get some publicity, and we’re here to serve the community, so I’m happy to let you all know about it. The stickers are made from good, sturdy vinyl, and they read: “Guns don't kill people. It's impossible to be killed by a gun. We are all invincible to bullets and it's a miracle.” Stand outside of your front door and shout “NRA” to order one. (1)
The local chapter of the NRA has begun market testing some possible new slogans. These include: “Guns don't kill people. Blood loss and organ damage does.” “Guns don't kill people. People kill guns.” “A list of things that kill people: 1. Conceivably anything. 2. Not guns.” “Guns don't kill people. We are all immortal souls living temporarily in shelters of earth and meat.” and “If you say guns kill people one more time I will shoot you with a gun and you will, coincidentally, die.” To vote on the new slogan, simply fire a gun at the object or person that best represents your choice. (25)
The local chapter of the NRA is selling bumper stickers as part of their fundraising week. The stickers are made from good, sturdy vinyl and they read “We genuinely do not value human life.” Cute! (111)
Carlos and his team of scientists warn that one of the houses in the new development of Desert Creek, out back of the elementary school, doesn’t actually exist. “It seems like it exists,” explained Carlos and his perfect hair. “Like it’s just right there when you look at it, and it’s between two other identical houses so it would make more sense for it to be there than not” But, he says, they have done experiments and the house is definitely not there. At news time, the scientists are standing in a group on the sidewalk in front of the nonexistent house, daring each other to go knock on the door. (1)
Scientists, and science in general, would like to remind you that some things exist and some things do not. Usually, you can apply the simple test of seeing if it is there. If it is there, it exists. If not, it probably doesn’t, but it might just be currently existing somewhere else. Existence is tricky, the scientists say. Research shows this. For instance, there is that house in the housing development of Desert Creek out back of the elementary school, the house that doesn’t exist. It seems like it exists. Like it’s just right there when you look at it, and it’s between two other identical houses so it would make more sense for it to be there than not. But it does not exist. They have proved this with science. The scientists still haven’t gotten up the nerve to ring the doorbell and find out what happens. Do you want to do it? They’ll pay you five dollars if you do. Just ring it once ok. We’ll be watching from back here. You’ll probably be fine. (25)
Carlos and his scientists, like Luisa and Nilanjana, are renewing their investigation into the house in the development of Desert Creek, out back of the elementary school. The house that doesn’t actually exist. “It seems like it exists,” muttered Carlos. “Like it’s just right there when you look at it, and it’s between two other identical houses so it would make more sense for it to be there than not.” But he says, it is actually a doorway to another world. A world he himself was once stuck in for a year. There seem to be secrets about that year he is keeping to himself. Maybe someday we will learn what they are. (111)
Lights, seen in the sky above the Arby’s. Not the glowing sign of Arby’s. Something higher and beyond that. We know the difference. We’ve caught on to their game. We understand the lights above Arby’s game. Invaders from another world. Ladies and gentlemen the future is here. And it’s about a hundred feet above the Arby’s. (1)
But here, Carlos and I sat on the trunk of that car, his car, looking together at the lights up in the sky above the Arby’s. They were beautiful in the hushed twilight, shimmering in a night sky already coming alive with bits of the universe. [...] We understand the lights. We understand the lights above the Arby’s. We understand so much. But the sky behind those lights, mostly void, partially stars, that sky reminds us: we don’t understand even more. (25)
Lights, seen in the sky above the Arby’s. Not the glowing sign of Arby’s. Something higher and beyond that. One night, years ago, two people, scared and vulnerable and loving and ready, came together for a quiet moment under that sky. And I pretended at the time to understand the lights. But a big part of recognizing the world for what it is, is recognizing when you have no idea. Invaders from another world? Harbingers of future terror? A fragment of another universe, fading into our own above reasonably priced lunch meat? Maybe any. Maybe all. Maybe none. But here is what I do know. The lights are, among other things, a part of my memory, and a part of my marriage, and a part of my love. They are a piece of my past, and I don’t need to understand them to understand that. Ladies and gentlemen the past is here. And it’s about a hundred feet above the Arby’s. (111)
The City Council would like to remind you about the tiered heavens, and the hierarchy of angels. The reminder is that you should not know anything about this. The structure of heaven and the angelic organizational chart are privileged information, known only to City Council members on a need to know basis. Please to do not speak to or acknowledge any angels that you may come across while shopping at the Ralphs or at the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex. They only tell lies, and do not exist. Report all angels sightings to the City Council for treatment. (1)
The City Council would like to remind you about the tiered heavens, and the hierarchy of angels. The reminder is that you still should not know anything about this. The structure of heaven and the angelic organizational chart are still privileged information. Also, angels aren’t real. “I really get tired of having to say this,” a City Council representative said to a group of disgruntled angels. “Angels aren’t real. They just aren’t.” The angels became unruly and were dispersed by a thunderclap from heaven. (25)
The City Council would like to remind you about the tiered heavens and the hierarchy of angels. The reminder is the Council is grumpy that all of this is not forbidden knowledge, but due to the new laws, they are required to inform you that the angels have made all of that information available. Stop by the house where the angels live if you want to pick up a free packet outlining exactly how all of that is organized. While the packet itself is free, it is likely the angels will ask to borrow five dollars. They tend to do that. (111)
Speaking of the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex, its owner, Teddy Williams, reports that he has found the entrance to a vast, underground city in the pin retrieval area of lane 5. He said he has not yet ventured into it, merely peered down at its strange spires and broad avenues. He also reports voices of a distant crowd in the depths of that subterranean metropolis. Apparently the entrance was discovered when a bowling ball accidentally rolled into it, clattering down to the city below with sounds that echoed for miles across the impossibly huge cavern. So, you know, whatever population that city has, they know about us now and we might be hearing from them very soon. (1)
Word is in about a disturbance at the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex. There has been the sound of chanting and machinery from under the pin retrieval area of lane five, and Teddy Williams has changed all the bowlers’ names on the electronic scorecards to “THEY ARE HERE”. This is causing some confusion and has completely ruined Jeremy Godfrey's 50th birthday party, which had rented out a few lanes for the afternoon. Jeremy was last seen drinking a light beer out of a plastic cup, shaking his head sadly as he swished the liquid around and looking out the window at the sky, mostly void, partially stars. Teddy Williams was last seen howling, commanding his militia to surround the pin retrieval area and prepare for an attack. (25)
Over at the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex, Teddy Williams, its owner, reported the startling news that there is nothing under the pin retrieval area of lane 5. As you may remember, there has been a tiny city of warlike people under the bowling alley for several years now, which has caused some trouble, although not a lot of trouble, because they were very tiny people. But now there is just a hole in the earth under the pin retrieval area, an empty space containing only my own memories of a night that someone I loved almost died before I had a chance to truly love him. So good riddance to whatever that town was. (111)
Carlos, perfect and beautiful, came into our studios during the break earlier but declined to stay for an interview. He had some sort of blinking box in his hand covered with wires and tubes. Said he was testing the place for materials. I don’t know what materials he meant, but that box sure whistled and beeped a lot. When he put it close to the microphone, it sounded like, well, like a bunch of baby birds had just woken up. Really went crazy. Carlos looked nervous. I’ve never seen that kind of look on someone with that strong of a jaw. He left in a hurry. Told us to evacuate the building, but then, who would be here to talk sweetly to all of you out there. (1)
I arrived at the parking lot to find Carlos, perched on the trunk of his car in flannel and jeans, his perfect hair mussed, his perfect teeth hidden. “What is it?” I said. “What danger are we in? What mystery needs to be explored?” He shook his head. “Nothing,” he said. “After everything that happened...I just wanted to see you.” My heart leapt. My heart soared. My heart, metaphorically, performed a number of aerial activities, and, literally, it began beat hard. (25)
Carlos, perfect and beautiful, came into our studios during the break earlier, and we ate lunch together out of Tupperwares. He had some sort of blinking box in his hand covered with wires and tubes. When he put it close to the microphone, it sounded like, well, like a bunch of baby birds had just woken up. Really went crazy. He asked if I remembered it. He had brought it by on the first day we had met. He had told me that it tested for materials, but he wasn’t actually sure what materials it tested for. He had just wanted an excuse to come by and talk to me. “Anyway,” he said, “I thought it was a nice memento. Back when we were fumbling awkwardly toward this life we share.” “But,” he added, “it’s a real instrument that is detecting some actual materials of some kind, so there is a good chance that everything about this studio is deeply dangerous. Please be careful.” (111)
Settling in to be another clear and pretty evening here in Night Vale. I hope all of you out there have someone to sleep through it with, or at least good memories of when you did. Good night, listeners. Good night. (1)
We understand the lights. We understand the lights above the Arby’s. We understand so much. But the sky behind those lights, mostly void, partially stars, that sky reminds us: we don’t understand even more. Good night, Night Vale. Good night. (25)
Settling in to be another clear and pretty evening here in Night Vale, this weird, weird town. I hope all of you out there have someone to sleep through it with. I know I do. Good night, listeners. Good night. (111)

How To Play Golf: The Ultimate Step-By-Step Guide For Beginners
Do you want to pick up the game of golf and enjoy it for the rest of your life?
Golf is supposedly the best game ever played.
Perhaps as the ultimate examination of the body and mind.
It's simultaneously calming, demanding, rewarding, and frustrating.
It can humiliate you and make you curse the game, only for you to quickly rediscover your love for it. golf courses near me
However, it's a beautiful game in the end.
The game has a certain something. It appears simple when it is played well. You let your guard down because it was so easy.
then it responds by attacking.
For many, it's an obsession, while for others, it's a sporadic hobby.
It doesn't matter what it is to you; you can learn this fantastic game at any time in your life.
More than any other game, it transcends generations and teaches you about who you are and how to live.
Therefore, you have decided. You want to go golfing. Now what?
Learn the proper technique for playing golf by reading this Ultimate Guide.
Making the Decision to Play Golf
It's simple to decide to start playing golf, but it must be done with knowledge and respect for the sport. Golf is enjoyable and meant to be enjoyed, but it can frequently be frustrating, particularly when you're just starting out.
Having said that, there is only one easy point to keep in mind.
GOLF IS HARD.
Even professional athletes who have played their entire lives continue to make poor shots.
So, when developing your game, don't aim for perfection. Manage your expectations above all else, learn from your mistakes, and accept them.
You're not that good, to get that angry, a golf pro once remarked to me when I was an upset beginner having a mid-round breakdown.
A lot about a person can be learned from playing golf. Their behavior on the course is one of the key factors. When you're playing well, it's simple to be happy, but it takes courage to maintain your composure when circumstances don't go your way.
Remain upbeat and enjoy the process. Life is too short to become enraged over a game.
Getting Equipment
You might have heard that playing golf is expensive. This may be the case, but it's not necessary.
Similar to when you were told as a child that "needs" and "wants" are two different things.
Golf requires clubs, so get some! You don't require the priciest brand-name irons and the most recent driver available. While "Chad" at your neighbourhood golf shop might try to convince you otherwise so he can earn more commissions, that is untrue.
Any set of clubs will work well for a great golfer.
Although these factors can have an effect at the highest level, weekend golfers or those just starting out wouldn't even notice them.
Find a reasonable price
Below is some information that will help you when buy your first set of golf clubs:
Purchase cavity-back irons. The heads on the clubs are bigger and easier to hit.
Choose affordable lessons over pricey clubs.
enquire locally
Most likely, a golfer in your life has some extra clubs lying around that they'll sell you for a discount.

That ought to get you going.
Be resourceful and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Learning the Rules
It goes without saying that knowing the rules is an essential component of learning to play golf. Despite the fact that they may initially seem intimidating, resist being intimidated. Just get the fundamentals down and the rest will come.
Playing against more seasoned golfers and copying their techniques is the best way to learn the game's rules. Don't be afraid to make mistakes or ask questions. It is how each of us learns.
You can get a quick rundown of the essentials from the list below.
Other Golf Rules:

Spider-Man vs Pizza Creep
Peter has a crush on the girl at the pizzeria. One night, she doesn’t come back from a delivery. Looks like a job for Spider-Man but it might be more suited for Peter B. Parker. Thanks go to my buddy @bunnikkila for beta reading. I’ll also be posting this on a03
This was such a cliche. Peter knew it, the world probably knew it too. Somehow, he had developed a crush on his local pizza girl.
It wasn’t a mystery as to why he liked her; besides smelling of pizza, she was super cute with a sweet personality. She also had a nice, chubby little figure. Peter wondered if all men suddenly developed a fondness for chub when they got older. Granted, Uncle Ben had told Peter to respect all women, not just the thin ones. He was doing more than respecting them now. Peter felt a bit lewd but when Pizza Girl was busy, he’d stare at her butt. It was only fleeting glances but he kept those views in his memory.
“Evening Pete!” she said, smiling at him. “Ready for dinner?”
“You know it!” Peter slid into his familiar booth.
It was the same routine. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Peter went to Perfection Pizzas for dinner. He remembered the first night he had gone; it had been an awful night for the web slinging superhero and he was exhausted with little cash. Pizza Girl had served him and when the time came for the bill, she mentioned he was a special customer and he had gotten to eat free. He didn’t question it until he went back. When he asked for the bill, Pizza Girl said she had lost it and that meant his meal was free.  The third time, she had made up a lie about some discount. Peter argued with her this time. He couldn’t just keep getting free food. Yeah, he loved free food but he felt bad for not paying. Pizza Girl was stubborn but she let him pay her but she refused a tip.
Maybe he was reading things wrong but her small acts of kindness had touched him. New York wasn’t the kindest place to live sometime and finding small pockets of kindness in life left an impact on him. Even the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Barr, were kind. Whenever he came in and Mr. Barr saw him, he would exclaim, “Ah, it’s my favorite Peter!”
“So what will it be tonight?” Pizza Girl asked.
“What’s the special?”
“Tonight, it’s macaroni and cheese pizza with bacon bits.”
“Double the carbs? Sign me up! Two slices please and a diet coke.”
“A diet coke? You gonna start eating salads soon?” Pizza Girl joked.
“I need to cut back somehow,” Peter shrugged.
She giggled, wrote down his order, and headed back towards the kitchen. Peter watched her, sighing to himself. He was starting to wonder if he shouldn’t come here anymore; seeing Pizza Girl and not being able to do anything was driving him nuts. He couldn’t tell her how he felt either, he would look like some creepy stalker. Peter sighed again just as Pizza Girl came back out, this time holding a box.
“I gotta leave you for a bit Pete,” she said. “We have a delivery and all the other drivers are out. But don’t worry, this is close. I should be back in about fifteen minutes.”
“I’ll hold you to it,” Peter waved her off. “Don’t go drag racing.”
“I make no promises.”
In his old age, Peter had become more aware of time. It went quicker, but he also realized when a long amount of time had passed. He had been glancing at his watch and when thirty minutes had passed, Peter started to worry. His pizza had come but he ate it absentmindedly, keeping an eye on the door. When he had finished both slices, he checked his watch again. Pizza Girl had been gone for an hour.  Now, Peter had worked as a delivery boy a long time ago. Deliveries never took this long unless something really bad had happened; there was a car crash or the driver was held up by something.
Or worse.
Peter got up. The worry was gnawing away at him and he just couldn’t sit by. He marched up to the counter and rang the small bell.
“Yes?” Mr. Barr came out. “Oh, Mr. Parker.”
“Has she called?” he asked.
“Oh, you’re worried about her too,” Mr. Barr’s face fell. “No, she hasn’t. I’m about to call the police.”
“Look, maybe it’s nothing,” Peter paused. “Tell me where she went and I’ll go look for her.”
“Mr. Parker, I can’t ask you to do that.”
“I’m volunteering. Just let me know where she was and I’ll check up on her. Maybe she’s fine.”
“Well, alright,” Mr. Barr went over to the computer. “Let me see. Ah, here it is. 294 Maple Way Drive.”
“I’ll be back in a flash,” Peter started walking towards the door. “Trust me.”
Once he was outside, Peter made a mad dash for the nearest alley. He changed into his spider suit and once he was completely dressed, he made his way towards Maple Way. While he swung through the air, he tried to be positive. Maybe her phone died. But even if her phone had died, why hadn’t she borrowed someone else’s? Plus, she would have headed back to the restaurant. Damnit, he hated being logical sometimes.
Maple Way soon came into view. He landed on one of the roofs, scanning the numbers along the street. His eyes landed on 294. Unlike the other houses, it wasn’t neat or tidy; in fact, the house almost looked abandoned. There were no lights on and there wasn’t a car in the driveway. At the curb, however, he spotted a familiar red Nissan. Peter leapt off the building and landed near the car. The passenger door was ajar and a pizza was lying on the ground, ruined.
“Hello?” Peter whispered. “Is there anyone here?”
“Spider-Man?”
Peter turned around. Pizza Girl emerged from a bush, holding a golf club. Her hat was missing and she was visibly shaking. She dropped the club and ran to him, wrapping her arms around him. Peter couldn’t help but hug her back. Pizza Girl whimpered before starting to cry softly.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay,” He said. “What happened?”
“I--I--I---” She stammered before inhaling. “I went to deliver the pizza and before I even rang the doorbell, the door opened. I’ve delivered to this guy before and he said---he was waiting for me. I was weirded out but I just wanted to give him his pizza. He paid me and I was about to leave but he suddenly grabbed me.”
Peter clenched his fist.
“And he said something about making me dinner,” Pizza Girl whimpered. “I fought back, saying I wasn’t interested but he wouldn’t let go! So I headbutted him and ran to the car. He ran after me, throwing the pizza at me. So I hid.”
“Are you alright?” Peter held her face in his hand.
Pizza Girl’s face was wet with tears, but to Peter she was still beautiful. There was fear in her eyes. Peter felt rage filling his body. Pizza Girl held up her wrist, showing some bruising. Suddenly, the front door swung open. They looked up to see a middle-aged man standing there. He was glaring at the two of them, his eyes lingering on pizza girl. Peter felt her grab his arm, holding on tight. Peter stood firm, staring down her attacker.
“Fuck off Spider-Man, I saw her first,” The man growled.
“Like the hell you did! She’s not an object,” Peter said. “You stay in your house, leave her alone and don’t ever contact her again.”
“Or what?”
He really shouldn’t have said that. Peter was willing to let the guy off with a warning. All the man had to do was stay in his house. Instead, he ended up with a broken nose. Peter told Pizza Girl to call the police and her work to let them know what happened. Peter webbed up the pizza creep before turning back to Pizza Girl. She was still a bit shaky.
“Hey, you’re going to be okay,” Peter said, placing a hand on her shoulder. “He’s never going to hurt you again.”
“Thank you,” she said. “I’m just upset because he took me away from my favorite customer.”
Favorite customer. She had a   customer? Wait, he was had been the only person in the restaurant when she had left. Was she talking about him?
“He comes in three times a week and I always look forward to seeing him,” She continued. “He’s a bit of a grump sometimes but I always love talking to him and making him smile. I wish he was here.”
Peter was at a loss for words. She was talking about him! He was her favorite customer? Him? As he mulled over this, he heard a siren and soon, a cop car appeared.
“I’m going to let them take over,” He said quickly. “You’re going to be okay right?”
“Yeah, I should be fine,” she smiled at him. “Thank you Spider-Man.”
Peter let out his web fluid and flew off, just so Pizza Girl saw him leave. Then, he ducked behind one of the houses and changed as quickly as he could. He ran back down the street to where he had left Pizza Girl originally. He saw her talking to a cop and when she turned around to head to her car, she spotted Peter.
“Peter?”
“Oh thank god, you’re alright!” he said. “I came to find you because you had been gone so---”
Pizza Girl rushed to him, wrapping her arms around him. Peter doubled back, trying to steady himself. He returned the hug, savoring the feel of her body against his. He took in the faint pizza smell as he ran a hand down her back.
“I’m so happy you’re here,” she said, her voice wavering. “Oh shoot, I’m going to cry again.”
“Hey, it’s okay. Go ahead and cry, it’s alright.”
The rest of the night went by in a blur. After giving her statement to the cops, Pizza Creep got arrested. Peter offered to drive her back to Perfection Pizzas. She had said she was fine but Peter could see she was still shaking. Even though Pizza Creep was gone, she still seemed on edge. Once they had gotten back from the restaurant, Mr. and Mrs. Barr started fawning over her. Despite Pizza Girl’s protest, Mrs. Barr gave her a week off with pay and asked Peter to take her home.
Even with Pizza Creep, Peter was still worried. So the next day, Peter stopped by around dinner time. He knocked on Pizza Girl’s door and she opened it, looking a bit tired but no worse for wear. She was wearing an oversized hoodie and sweatpants. She still looked adorable.
“Peter?”
“Hey, brought you dinner,” he said, holding up a bag. “I hope you’re not a vegetarian or opposed to beef.”
“Oh, of course not. Come in,” she said.
Peter stepped into her apartment. He was always surprised to see how put together other peoples’ apartments were. Pizza Girl’s apartment was clean with pictures on the wall, an actual couch and a television that was on a stand instead of the floor. A French bulldog had been lying on the couch and it perked up when Peter entered. It ran over to Peter and started sniffing him.
“I can put Basil in my room if he ends up bothering you,” she said.
“It’s fine,” Peter reached down and scratched the dog’s ears. “Hello Basil. Pleasure to meet you.”
“You didn’t have to get me dinner,” she said. “That’s so sweet of you.”
“I can’t let my favorite pizza girl go hungry.”
“I’m---your favorite pizza girl?” she asked, sounding hopeful.
“Of course you are,” Peter placed the bag on her table.
“Well,” She began to play with a strand of her hair. “You’re my favorite customer.”
God, she was so cute Peter couldn’t stand it.
“You’re also my hero,” she said. “You came to rescue me last night.”
“Yeah but Spider-Man got there first.”
“But Spider-Man is everyone’s hero,” she continued to tug at her hair. “You came for me specifically so you’re my hero.”
Peter stared at her for a bit.
“Could---your hero get a kiss?” he asked. “I mean only if you’re interested! Like if you’re got a boyfriend, I’ll back off! I’m usually not so for---”
Pizza Girl cut him off by suddenly kissing him. Peter closed his ears and wrapped his arms around her, deepening the kiss. They remained liplocked until Basil barked. The dog jumped up, trying to reach the burger bag.
“I think Basil wants to eat,” Pizza Girl chuckled.
“A man after my own heart,” Peter said. “Still, I wouldn’t mind another kiss after dinner.”
“If you’re a good boy and clean your plate, you’ll get more than just one kiss.”
Peter smiled and they headed into the kitchen, Basil running after them.

RV Camping at Disney’s Fort Wilderness
If you’re like me, you hear the word “Disney” and you automatically get filled with a sense of excitement and magic! I mean they pay attention to every tiny detail and always manage to create a sense of adventure and wonderment. So, of course, Disney’s Fort Wilderness is no exception.  After having spent some time there myself, I can say that it is definitely worth the trip.
Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground opened in November 1971. The resort has campsites and air-conditioned Wilderness Cabins situated on 750 acres of lush forest of pine and cypress trees. You will most likely see plenty of wildlife such as rabbits, deer, armadillos, ducks, geese, and peacocks roaming the grounds.
Tumblr media
The campground has private sites and features all the amenities of other campgrounds, with quite a few Disney extras.  It includes two heated pools that are open 24 hours a day, rental cabins, several restaurants and stores, a marina, playgrounds, tennis courts, horse and pony rides, a petting zoo, fishing, bike rentals, private carriage rides, and so much more.
To get you started, here are some tips to make sure you have a memorable stay at Fort Wilderness.
Be ready for the changing weather in Florida:
Since the campground is in Florida, it’s something the whole family can enjoy year-round. That being said, Florida’s weather can go from hot and humid to stormy—all in one day. Be ready for any type of weather by bringing shelter with bug netting (if you plan to eat outside), awning, and tarps for sudden downpours, and plenty of sunscreen.
Have a pet? Bring them along!:
Fort Wilderness is very pet-friendly and has a leash-free dog park. If you need to board your pet, the Best Friends Pet Care facility will take care of them while you visit the theme parks. For more information on pet policy, check it out here.
Rates and Sites:
First of all, to enjoy this fabulous adventure...you need an RV! We can help you with that part. We have many different RVs for you to choose from to fit your needs. All of them offer a luxurious camping experience;  www.camperfunpass.com is where you start.  Fort Wilderness has campsites for all sizes of RVs. Keep in mind, even with all those campsites, there are no pull-thru spots. So if you have a larger camper or trailer, you will need to back in.
The campground’s premium campsites are currently around $121 per night, versus a tent or pop-up camper site for around $78 per night. If you’re an annual passholder, you are eligible for significant discounts throughout the year. Availability varies and many times rates aren’t announced until three or four months in advance so keep an eye out.
Most sites are fairly secluded from one another by bushes and trees between sites. The campsites range in length from 25 to 60 feet.  Each site is about 25 feet wide and comes with a picnic table and charcoal grill.
All sites have electricity (20/30/50 amps) and city water. There are certain full hookup sites that also provide sewer. There are also partial hookup sites, primarily used by tent campers and those with tent trailers. When
booking be sure to specify the RV’s length, if it has slide outs or awnings, and any other details about its size when making a reservation so the right sized campsite is assigned to you.

There are a number of comfort stations located through the campground. The comfort stations are all air-conditioned and include private showers, restrooms, laundry rooms, phones, and ice machines. They are open 24 hours a day, with the exception of the laundry. The washers and dryers each cost $3. Vending machines for single-load laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach cost about $1.
Getting around Fort Wilderness:
Unless you plan on walking endlessly all day to get to where you want to go in the campground, I highly recommend a golf cart, which we also rent out for your convenience. In case you forgot it’s...www.camperfunpass.com. Just a reminder, the campground is about 750 acres!
There are internal buses running within the campground to get you to the marina, the Trading Posts, pools, etc., but bus waits can be up to 20 minutes.
You gotta eat!:
Dining includes restaurants, dinner shows, and snack bars – all serving American food. Restaurant meals range from under $15 to $60 per person, based on the average Guest check, not including alcohol, tax and tip.
Crockett’s Tavern offers beverages and snacks such as pizza, quesadillas, etc.
Trail’s End Restaurant provides an all you can eat buffet for breakfast and dinner, a menu for lunch.
P and J’s Southern Take Out – carry-out items all day.
Chuck Wagon offers burgers, sandwiches, and salads to go.

You made a promise to Pepper as an assistant to make sure everything remains the same when she gets back. The company needed to run as if she hadn’t left her post. You made sure Happy was up to par with security checks and the deliveries, anything that needed to be signed was given straight to Mrs Stark with a response warning of up to a week, you directed board meetings and had to shut all the smirking members up with your ability to actually run a company.
Well, that, and Tony Stark seems to occasionally be eavesdropping to make sure you weren’t upset by any of them. And even when he misread the situation, he’d appear in a Skype call just to check in.
He trusts you, not everyone else.
It wasn’t just businessmen that he was wary of. He invited you to his garage for a short talk. You thought it was to remind you about maintenance with his cars, but something else was concerning him.
“Could you do one more thing for me?” He asked. You shifted in your seat. “Could you look after him?”
“The… baby?” You answered. A silly response when you looked back on it.
“No. Peter Parker. Could you make sure he’s not, y’know, doing something stupid.”
“Oh. Um. Yes, of course.” You coughed. “I’m sorry, but what-what does this entail?”
As the months went, and the Starks went on a break, you gradually learnt what taking care of Peter Parker was.
You were walking with him. It’s about four in the afternoon, but it is Winter so New York’s street lights were bright against the jet sky, and the breeze was making the night colder than it should be. Peter wasn’t smart about what he wore so he was beside you shivering every so often. You chuckled every time you offered him a resolve.
Peter was stubborn in the most particular times, but you knew a couple of techniques to loosen him up.
“The shops haven’t closed yet, Peter, we could get you a scarf and hat and gloves-“
“No, I’m okay, really-“
“They might give you an Avenger’s discount.”
Peter rolled his eyes, hedging away from laughing. “What are we doing out here?”
You step in front of him, and the gleam in your eyes set him at ease. He’s nervous about what you’re going to say, but your expression makes his irritation with the cold dissipate. You were appropriately layered; a thick, large blazer coat, kept you so warm that there was a pink hue to your cheeks. Peter has to remind himself that this outing was still a professional ordeal for the both of you; he doesn’t want to ruin that. Your work heels were swapped to some trainers that were left in your office locker, but looked odd against your blouse and pencil skirt. Peter found you adorable, but you didn’t need to know that either.
… Was this a date?
“We’re here.”
There’s a pause before he rips his eyes off of you to pay attention. You two stood in front of an all-night amusement and arcade building, still blearing with neon lights. Might not be the best for Peter’s senses, but the look of wonder it gave him was priceless.
“Used to come here when I was younger.” You began. “They have the usual zombie shooters, and normal water shooters, and whack-a-moles...”
Another gust of wind blew against your backs, and you felt a drop of rain on your face.
“Has a couple gems in there too.”
“Like what?” Peter asked.
“Galaga. Space Invaders… There used to be a Super Mario, but I think that got unplugged. Oh! They even have Tetris. The non-flashy kind.”
Droplets began landing on Peter’s quaffed locks. Why was he hesitating? Those titles were temptation enough. He must be still worrying about the suit, or his responsibilities to the Avengers, or maybe a couple of personal projects. You see his brown irises look at you, then back behind him.
As the rain starts to pour, you lead him towards a decision. He’s slightly startled as you took him by the hands. Whether or not it was your smile again, or the way your hands felt small in his, he didn’t know how to react but to follow you. “Come on, Peter. I promise everything that you’ve been working on will still be there when we get back-“
“Y/N-“
“And,” you continue, “there’s a Duckhunt high score just waiting to be beat.”
Peter bites the bait finally grinning from ear-to-ear. You cheer, and this makes him more eager to go inside. “Fine, fine, a couple of hours. Tops.”
This was the first time that you and Peter spent time together out of hours. When you started your job, you guys would talk about agendas on everything going on the Avengers compound. Eventually, when Pepper was nearing her maternity leave, after making sure you were thoroughly taught the processes of Stark industries, she handed the reigns to you. The workload became strenuous. Despite this, meeting Peter Parker became a regular event, especially when Tony let Peter take over his responsibilities. You always wanted to hang out with Peter, without the other suited colleagues around the corner or tasks hindering the time, but it wasn’t anything high on your priority list. It was just nice chatting with him, especially with everyone else ten years, or more, your senior.
Now, here you two were spraying water at a screen with monsters that melt from the touch of it, and laughing at the probability on who could get the toy frog with a hat out of the claw machine. It was nice seeing him laugh, as you usually meet him with his bewildered visage. It’s a refreshing, and delightful change. He’s great-looking with a smile.
After a while, it wasn’t you dragging Peter all over the place, it was him ushering you over to play indoor mini adventure golf.
You won, of course. That, and Peter kept having his hands stuck to the putter.
You both got back to the claw machine with the frog in it. He bowed to you in your victory.
“As your prize, Lady Y/N, “ Peter pronounced his words, “I will win you this most prestigious reward.”
“Oh, Sir Parker,” you gasp, “this is a dangerous feat. How could you possibly-“
“Fear not, my lady, anything is possible for you.”
You had to clear your throat for that comment, watching him place his palms on the joystick and buttons of the claw machine. As you wished him luck, he inserts a quarter, and the machine chimes to life. He was concentrating on the claw, his hands clammy but still functioning on the control panel. You observe the claw yourself; you see it go left, swing a little, and come towards the two of you. You hear a tap of a button, and the claw descends down.
“Oh my, God, Peter, I think you might just get it.”
He glances to the side of him, distracted by you. Your eyes hadn’t noticed him, as yours were still intent on the toy frog. His face wasn’t far away from yours, and you were just biting your bottom lip slightly. You let go of it, and Peter saw your mouth return to its full plump size.
He lost the frog.
You cursed under your breath. “So close! We cannot free them today, my knight.”
Noticing the silence, you face him. He’s still staring at your lips.
“Peter?”
He snaps out of his trance, laughing uncertainly, “Sorry, I couldn’t get it for you.”
His bashfulness makes you laugh. For a superhero, he still has a knack for being awkward. “It’s not a problem, Peter.”
“Thank you, Y/N.”
“For what?”
“This.” His head gestures to the machine in front of him, a emoticon flashing bright teeth from the background of it. “I’ve just been too overworked. I know I’ve been doing his job for a while, but Mr Stark is retiring, he wants me to step up, and I want to, it’s just-… What if I’m not right for the job? If I can’t do it, I mean, I don’t want to disappoint anyone.”
“There’s a lot of pressure on you, but you’ll get there.” You say, your lips in a hopeful simper. “I’m sure he doesn’t want you to rush, he just wants you to be ready. I mean, if you have that much doubt, you do know you can back out whenever. Tony’ll understand.”
“I don’t want to back out from this.”
“So, even with the pressure, and the choice of quitting, you want to stay?”
You see Peter take a deep breath, and survey you, a knowing look on your face. You knew Peter’s philosophy of power and responsibility all too well.
“You’re too good for this world, Peter.” You brush a hair away, glancing at him. “And, I just, uh, wanted to say – even with everything else going on – it’s been really great to spend time with you.”
“Yeah.” He said. “It’s been awesome.”
“Have you eaten today? There’s a diner nearby we can go to.”
His Spidey senses tingled. “Erm. It’s still raining.”
You point your thumb to a candy machine, smirking. “So you want me to suck on a lollipop because you’re afraid of a little rain?”
Peter blinked. His heart began racing. Why’d he have to think about you sucking on-
“Do they have pancakes?” Was all Peter could muster.
