blurb with Leah trying to teach reader how to play golf? Maybe it’s their second or third date but they aren’t official yet? Which is really just an excuse for her to get all handsy with you and try to flex and show off with her golf skills to impress you. All fluffy and soft for our LW6 :)

"leah...why are we at a golf course?" your eyebrows scrunched into a frown as the blonde parked up, shooting you a grin and cutting the engine of her car.
"well where else does one play golf?" leah asked sarcastically, and though you did admit when the girl had asked you to play golf for your third consecutive date, you naively assumed she meant of the miniature kind.
"i thought you meant mini golf! i don't know the first thing about real golf leah." you laughed with a shake of your head. "well then you're in luck my girl because i happen to be a wonderful teacher." leah grinned with a wink, reaching into the back of her car and placing a grey golfers hat on her head.
"oh surely you're not wearing that." you scoffed in disbelief, leah feigning offence and clutching at her chest. "i most certainly am, i'm one of the pros!" the english captain winked, slipping out of the car and hurrying around to open the door for you.
"so chivalrous." you smiled as she bowed mockingly before slinging an arm over your shoulder, locking her car and walking the two of you over to the clubhouse. "so, up for 18 holes then?" leah asked casually and your eyes widened in shock as you arrived to reception.
"18?!"
"two passes for the driving range please, two hour session." leah smiled politely, sliding her membership card over the counter to the young woman who nodded, clicking away at her computer as you sighed in relief and pinched at her arm unappreciative of her teasing.
the receptionist explaining where everything was as well as pointing out the rules and behavioral expectations whilst at the range leah nodded, only half listening before she thanked the young woman and pulled you away.
"i don't know how you've convinced me into this, i happen to hate golf." you admitted honestly as the two of you arrived in your area, setting your things down on the small lounge as leah eyed up the clubs.
"you know its a crime to say those disgustingly hateful words here yeah?" leah hummed as she ran her fingers over a nine iron, pulling it out with a satisfied nod. "its a boring sport for boring rich old men with nothing better to do." you shrugged, taking a seat on the lounge as leah shot you a look.
"well boring old rich men and ego driven footballers who can't just be good at one sport and be satisfied with that." you teased as leah tee'd up a ball. "you better watch your mouth or i'll have you thrown out." leah warned, a smile tugging at her lips as she readied herself to swing.
"don't miss!" you teased right as she swung, throwing the defender off a little as what was supposed to be a perfect drive was mis-hit and merely rolled a few feet forward propelled by a rush of air, leah missing the ball entirely.
leaning on the club leah turned her body to face you as she stared you down in annoyance, you merely dropped your sunglasses down onto your nose and crossing your legs, settling back into the lounge and soaking up the rare bit of sun of a surprisingly warm day.
"i'm beginning to think three might be a cursed number, and this is the date where i realize you're just an insufferable brat." leah shook her head, you hardly able to take the girl seriously in her ridiculous baggy hat.
"gotta try before you buy right?" you grinned cheekily, leah humming and wagging a finger at you, re-teeing up her ball and shuffling back into position, ignoring your mocking words and connecting with a fierce back swing, smiling happily as the ball rocketed right to the back of the range.
"see? you're in the presence of a professional here." leah smiled smugly and you clapped, mockingly congratulating her. "alright then, your turn." leah offered you the club, teeing up the ball for you as you sighed, the two of you swapping positions as she now sat back into the lounge.
"go on babe, impress me." leah challenged, arms resting along the back of the lounge as she waved for you to hurry up. with a roll of your eyes you tried to copy the position she had just taken, leah holding back a laugh as you swung and completely missed.
you reset yourself and once again missed, huffing in frustration and setting yourself up one more time, another miss.
though as the club this time almost flew out of your hands leah decided to take pity on you, standing to her feet. "come on then tiger woods, i'll show you how to actually do it." the blonde chuckled, placing herself behind you, her front pressed into your back.
"hands like this." slender fingers intertwined with yours as she adjusted where your hands rested on the club. "feet apart more." her own gently kicked yours into a wider stance.
"stand up straight." the defender rasped, her breath warm on your neck as she pressed herself even more into you, hands coming to rest on top of your own. "now pull back until your hands are aligned with your shoulder." leah helped you lift the club, stopping at the right position.
"and...swing!" you did as she asked, her hands still atop yours, and your face lit up watching as you connected with the ball and it soared away from you. "much better." leah congratulated, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to your cheek before pushing herself back, your hands tingling from her touch.
"what was that?" leah asked as she tee'd you up another ball. "i didn't say anything?" you frowned in confusion. "yeah exactly, i was after a thank you leah." leah sarcastically held a hand to her ear, waving for you to speak.
"sit down leah." you smirked, pushing her away from you with the end of the club as the girl pushed it away, muttering about your lack of manners and taking a seat again. "well go on then!" leah waved, crossing her arms over her chest and waiting expectantly.
"watch the back of the net for this one." you boasted confidently, trying your best to copy the position the older girl just had you in, and swinging hard and...missing.
"oh ladies and gentlemen she's hit it out of the park! look out down below lads cause its raining golf balls!" leah stood to her feet, clapping and cheering for you loudly as you grumbled, kicking the ball instead as it bounced pathetically a few feet away from you.
"just for that i think next time i'll teach you how to kick a football ." leah whistled at the woeful attempt, shaking her head. "oh god please no more sports related dates leah!" you groaned in response.
"nope! we're not stopping until you can do this properly by yourself." leah tutted as you tried to hand her the club. "why do i need to know how to play golf? i can just sit in the golf cart and cheer you on when you play." you bargained with a grin, hugging the taller girl whose arms wrapped around your back.
"mmm my own personal cheerleader, the boys would be so jealous." leah hummed, dipping her head to press a sweet kiss against your lips, pulling away far too soon for your liking. "you can be a supportive girlfriend from the sidelines for football, you're learning how to play golf!" leah decided, turning you around and slotting herself in behind you again, not even registering what she'd just said.
"supportive girlfriend hm?" you asked with a small smile, feeling leahs body freeze up behind you, the blonde quickly stepping back and rambling out a hasty apology. "hey hey leah, i didn't say i minded." you cupped her face and smiled reassuringly, stroking her strongly defined jaw with the pads of your thumb.
nodding hastily and clearing her throat leah shooed you back to the driving mound, settling behind you again and reminding you of how to stand.
wanting to wind her up as she did, you pressed your lower half more into her as she spoke, feigning as if you were working on your foot position as you wiggled back and forth, hearing leah cough a few times behind you, hands moving off the club to sit on your waist, holding you still as you swung, squealing happily as this time you connected and the ball went sailing away into the distance.
"you're a natural." leah complimented with a wink, the rosy pink blush which once coated her cheeks having disappeared as she appeared back to her confident bubbly self.
"did you invite me on a golfing date just so you could show off your skills and get all handsy with me williamson?" you turned around with a teasing smirk, the blonde shrugging innocently.
"maybe, you'll never know kid. now go again! your back swing still needs some serious work."

banana pancakes (pt. 2)

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The drive to the golf course wasn't far, but Jeongyeon kept glancing in the mirror to make sure they packed everything Hyo would need.
"Jeong, I'm sure we're not missing anything." Mina didn’t even have to look up from her phone to be able to tell that her wife was needlessly worrying.
“I know, but you know how I get. I just want to make sure Hyo’s got everything she needs.”
At the brief mention of her name, Hyo looked up from her golf ball stuffy that her mommy crocheted for her last Christmas. She flashed her mama a toothy grin before looking back down at her stuffy, happily flapping its arms.
The parking lot was fairly empty despite the beautiful weather, but it was only 9 in the morning. The car came to a gentle stop as Jeongyeon put it in park. She turned the engine off and got out, opening Hyo’s door to get her out of the car.
“Golf, mama!” Hyo held her stuffy up for her mama to see, her smile even bigger now they were at the golf club.
“I know, pumpkin.” Jeongyeon chuckled at her baby’s enthusiasm and unbuckled her seatbelt. “Can we leave Ace here so we can go watch golf? We don’t want her to get lost since she’s so small.”
Hyo thought about her mama’s words before giving a small nod. She definitely didn’t want to lose her stuffy, so she tucked her in between the back passenger seats before her mama helped her out. Mina grabbed the diaper bag and Hyo’s watered-down juice — regular juice made for a way too hyper Hyo — before she walked around the back of the car. She held onto her baby’s free hand as they walked into the golf club.
The girls have been a part of this golf club for at least two years now. They had belonged to a different club originally, but due to a change in management and an almost violent argument between Jeongyeon and the new owner, they had to switch for Hyo’s safety.
Thankfully, this club is even better than the original. Hyo had quite a challenging time getting used to the new club since it was a massive change, but once she started to warm up to it, she never wanted to leave. The owners of this club absolutely love Hyo, which is a big plus. Whether she’s little or big, they treat her with the same kindness as they do with all their members.
“Good morning! I'm happy to see my favorite golfer today. How are you, miss Jihyo?”
Minatozaki Sana is one of the managers at the club, and quite possibly the nicest person on the planet. Whenever Jeongyeon and Mina were looking for a new golf club, they met Sana — not at the club, but at the grocery store — when she was still a regular employee. Sana overheard them talking about golf clubs and convinced them to check out the one she worked for.
A well-deserved promotion and two years later, Sana has easily become one of Hyo’s favorite people. Jeongyeon and Mina were quick to explain their special situation with Hyo and from day one, Sana had been nothing but kind and accommodating. She didn’t have any experience with autism, but she was more than willing to learn to keep Hyo and her mamas comfortable and happy.
As soon as Sana spoke to Hyo, her eyes lit up. She let out a happy giggle and gave Sana a tiny wave. “Watch golf, Na Na.”
“Yeah? And are we watching at the driving range or the big course today?” Sana smiled and took the membership card from Mina to scan before handing it back. She walked out from behind the front desk and bent down a bit to focus on Hyo.
Hyo looked at Sana with a serious expression. This was a tough decision to make. She loved watching how far the golf balls could go at the driving range, but she also loved watching people play a whole 18-hole game of golf.
Ultimately, Hyo ended up picking the driving range. She slid into one of the air-conditioned booths with her mamas and bounced in her seat. There was only one woman out this morning, but she was sure there would be more people coming in soon. It would be a shame to waste such a nice Saturday staying inside anyway.
//
By 11, there were three more people at the driving range. Jihyo had been extra good for the past two hours, just watching and occasionally pointing out an exceptionally long hit to her mamas. In her messy handwriting, she scribbled down the furthest drive on a cocktail napkin at the table with a pen her mommy found in the diaper bag. Unfortunately, though, Hyo was starting to get antsy and fussy. She tugged on her mama’s shirt sleeve for the third time in the past few minutes with a soft whine.
“What’s up, pumpkin?” Jeongyeon gently brushed a few stray hairs behind her baby’s ear. She nodded in understanding when Hyo gave her another small whine and pointed to her mouth.
“Do you want to eat some snacks, or are you ready for lunch?” Mina asked as she pulled out a bag of Cheerios, handing them to her baby. Hyo scrunched up her nose and shook her head, pushing the bag of Cheerios back to her mommy.
“Wan’ pancake, p’ease.”
Jeongyeon and Mina shared a small glance before turning their attention back to Hyo. They were surprised that she’d want to go home so early, since they typically spent at least four hours at the golf club, but who were they to deny their baby delicious pancakes for lunch?
“Okay, sweet girl. You can help me make them, too.” Jeongyeon smiled and picked Hyo up, holding her tight as they made their way back to the car. They waved to Sana before they left the club and buckled Hyo in the backseat.
Banana pancakes were Hyo’s absolute favorite food. When Jeongyeon first made them for her, she didn’t eat anything else for a week. It took a lot of coaxing and several unsuccessful bribes to get her down to one banana pancake meal a day and then two banana pancake meals a week.
“Okay, Hyo. You can put the bananas in now.”
Hyo looked up at her mama to make extra sure that she could put the bananas in. She looked into the pan and carefully put five thin banana slices into the pancake. She let out a happy squeal and bounced up and down, tugging on the hem of her mama’s shirt. Even though she’d seen her mama make pancakes hundreds of times by now, she still loved the sight and smell as they cooked.
“Can you drink some water for mommy with your pancakes, pumpkin?” Mina asked, her head in the fridge as she took the syrup out and a carton of blueberries.
Hyo gave her mommy a little pout but nodded. She wasn’t the biggest fan of water, but the last time she went almost all day without water, her head hurt and made her feel super icky. Hyo turned her attention back to the pancakes and excitedly clapped her hands together as her mama slid the last pancake onto the stack, completely forgetting about the water she had to drink.
Mina scooped Hyo up and buckled her into her highchair, setting a sippy cup of water down as well as a plate decorated with little golf balls and golf clubs. Hyo eagerly watched as Jeongyeon brought the plate of pancakes to the table.
As was routine with banana pancake meals, Jeongyeon cut Hyo’s two pancakes into 12 round pieces. She pushed the pieces onto Hyo’s plate and dug into her own pancakes, adoringly watching as her baby made a spiral pattern on her plate with the pancake pieces.
“Do you want blueberries, sweet girl?” Mina held the carton of blueberries out to Hyo who picked three perfect blueberries. She arranged them into a triangle in the middle of the spiral before finally picking up the first piece of pancake, dipping it in a little syrup. She ate the piece, happily rocking back and forth in her highchair. No matter how many times Hyo had her mama’s banana pancakes, she’d love them just as much each time. There was always the perfect amount of banana and a slight dash of vanilla.
Piece by piece, Hyo steadily ate all her pancake pieces until she emptied her plate. She leaned back in her highchair and brought her hand up to her lips. She blew a thank you kiss to her mamas and held her arms up.
Mina unbuckled her baby and picked her up. She pressed a gentle kiss to Hyo’s forehead, causing her to happily coo. Hyo let out a small yawn and laid her head against her mama’s chest. Mina’s heartbeat was soothing and just what Hyo needed to slowly lull her into a relaxed state.
“I think it’s time for a nap, huh?” Mina slowly walked into Hyo’s room, taking her time to change her diaper, and put her onesie back on her. With each passing minute, Hyo’s eyelids grew heavier and heavier. Her tummy was full of banana pancakes and her heart was happy from watching golf and being with her mamas.
Mina gently swayed back and forth with Hyo in her arms, a smile on her face as her baby’s breath started to even out. She quietly and carefully pushed down the bars of Hyo’s crib and laid her baby down. She tucked her stuffed elephant in her arms and placed one more gentle kiss on her forehead before pulling the bars back up. Quietly tiptoeing out of the room, Mina made sure to leave the door cracked open to let a bit more light into Hyo’s room.
As Hyo let sleep fully take over, she held her stuffy close to her chest and gently suckled on her pacifier, content in knowing that there was still so much to do with her mamas. More banana pancakes, more golf, and much more love.
Thank you for reading the second (also the last) part to the first fic in the little autistic!jihyo au series :) I hope you enjoyed reading. Also, if you haven't read the first part, it's linked on the second masterlist as well as here. 💚

Thailand Privilege Visa
The Thailand Privilege Visa, formerly known as the Thailand Elite Visa, is a long-term residence program designed to attract high-net-worth individuals and affluent retirees to Thailand. Administered by the Thailand Privilege Card Company, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, this visa offers a unique blend of immigration benefits, exclusive privileges, and a streamlined application process.
Understanding the Visa
The core benefit of the Thailand Privilege Visa is the ability to stay in Thailand for an extended period without the hassle of frequent visa renewals. The program offers multiple tiers, each with varying durations and privileges:
Gold Card: Grants a 5-year multiple-entry visa.
Platinum Card: Provides a 10-year multiple-entry visa.
Diamond Card: Offers a 15-year multiple-entry visa.
Reserve Card: Delivers a 20-year multiple-entry visa, subject to pre-screening qualifications.
Beyond the visa duration, the program also provides a range of exclusive benefits, such as VIP airport services, expedited immigration procedures, and access to government concierge services. These privileges are designed to enhance the overall living experience in Thailand.
The Point System: A New Era of Customization
In a significant development, Thailand Privilege introduced a point system in October 2023. This innovative approach replaces the previous fixed privilege structure, allowing members to select and customize a combination of benefits that best suits their lifestyle. Members earn points based on their membership tier and can redeem these points for a variety of privileges, including golf memberships, spa treatments, accommodation discounts, and more. This flexibility empowers individuals to tailor their Thailand experience to their specific preferences.
Eligibility and Application Process
While the Thailand Privilege Visa is primarily targeted at high-net-worth individuals, the specific eligibility criteria can vary based on the chosen membership tier. Generally, applicants need to meet financial requirements and provide necessary documentation, including passport information, passport-sized photographs, and proof of funds.
The application process is relatively straightforward. Applicants can submit their applications online or through authorized agents. The program emphasizes a streamlined approach, aiming to minimize bureaucratic hurdles for applicants.
Beyond the Visa: Thailand as a Retirement Destination
For many, the Thailand Privilege Visa is more than just a visa; it's a gateway to a fulfilling retirement. Thailand offers a compelling combination of affordability, tropical climate, rich culture, and excellent healthcare, making it an attractive option for retirees from around the world.
However, it's essential to conduct thorough research and consider factors such as cost of living, healthcare accessibility, and visa regulations before making a long-term commitment. While the Thailand Privilege Visa provides a solid foundation, careful planning is crucial for a successful retirement in the Land of Smiles.
Note: While this article provides a comprehensive overview of the Thailand Privilege Visa, it is essential to consult the official Thailand Privilege website or seek advice from an immigration expert for the most up-to-date information and personalized guidance.

wanted connection: F or M/ Michael is working at the country club where your muse’s rich parents have membership
Tumblr media
Michael was out on the restaurant’s deck, clearing abandoned plates and silverware from the tables, glad he was on service that day instead of collecting golf balls from the driving range. The temperature was scorching hot but at least with this job, he could linger in the air-conditioned indoors as much as possible. Plus, the tips were better. He wasn’t much of a talker, but he didn’t have to be. Customers liked fast service and only asked questions or made outlandish requests now and then. They were fairly well-behaved for rich folks, he thought.
Michael was loading a few glasses into a bin for washing as he noticed a shadow cast across the table. “Did you forget someth–?” he asked, trailing off when he looked up and recognized them from the family he’d served a little earlier.

If you’re gonna have discourse, might as well make it a community!
Some of you may not know what a discourse community is and how it relates to writing while others may easily identify my blog as a prime example. In order to help clarify this subject I will turn to information from the powerpoint presentation, Discourse communities, created by ENC 1101 Professor, Rocio Rodriguez.
Discourse communities are groups of people who share a common interest and participate in active conversation about that interest. These groups adhere by certain criteria in order to qualify as a discourse community:
Shared interests/goals/values: each discourse community has a topic they discuss, a niche if you will. This can be virtually anything.
Example: Video gamers talking about video games, Sport Professionals talking about sport news, or Farmers talking about plant care.
Intercommunication amongst members: Communication is the most important part of a discourse community. Its members must be able to communicate with each other and that communication is unique to each specific group. It can be formal, informal, spoken, written, drawn or signed as long as there is a conversation happening. Depending on the type of community, one form of communication might be a better choice
Example: Marine biology discourse communities can have formal conversations about the extinction of a species of fish. Soccer discourse communities may have heated informal arguments about which play is guaranteed to win against an opposing team.
Ways to be involved: whether it be over text, in person, through video chats, social media ‘lives’ or even group phone calls, there has to be a way to meet with the members of the community. This is where central conversation occurs and is what makes up the ‘discourse’ part of a discourse community.
Specific genres: While some may be more unique than others, every discourse community has some sort of communication method that is used specifically in relation to their topic of interest.
Example: Golf discourse communities use score cards to keep track of points during a game, these cards can be used later for conversations about how the player did during the round. LGBTQ+ discourse communities can refer to sexuality manifestos as reference to defining gender identities.
Specific lexus: In discourse communities there will be language used that is specific to the community. People outside the community may recognize the term but will not understand its meaning in context of the group’s use of it.
Example: Makeup gurus may say they are getting ready to beat their face when referring to putting on make up but to an outsider of the community that sounds very violent.
Membership and hierarchies: Similar to normal clubs and interest groups, discourse communities must have a certain number of members, each with a ranging level of experience. In order for there to be a spread of ideas there must be more professional members communicating with novices. If everyone is on the same level of experience, then there would be no learning and conversation could quickly turn into arguments.
So the big question is: how can discourse communities help you improve your writing? My answer, peer review. Communication is a key part of discourse communities and within that, there is bound to be a shared set of opinions. I recommend finding a writing advice discourse community you can join and ask questions as well as share your own knowledge with others. This is how these communities grow and thrive, with new members learning and educating, adding to the conversation.
I regularly visit snake discourse communities on Youtube in order to learn more about my own snake. While I am not actively part of the community because I do not contribute to the conversation, I am a silent supporter.
