This is Californio style ranch roping. In this style of roping, there are around 20 different loops that can be thrown from all angles. The emphasis is on good horsemanship and low stress stockmanship. Ropers will work on their roping shots on the dummy and live cattle. They will learn to slide rope, drag a log, lay down cattle from horseback, and practice 1, 2, and 3 man doctoring. Oct 25.26 and 27th 500 for 3 days - limited space deposits due soon.
