Willow was asleep on her bunk when the ship suddenly lurched, tossing her right onto the floor. Though this wasn’t unusual to happen, it was irritating all the same.

She stood up, rubbing her head and stumbled into her boots before heading up to the deck to find out what was going on to see Luz at the helm.

“Luz! What the heck was that for?” 

Though it didn’t take long for Willow to get her answer as the rest of their small crew prepared to approach a ship ahead of them, slightly off their original course.

Willow joined her friend at the helm to borrow her glass and get a better look at the ship ahead.

“Emperor’s ship?” She asked, though really they were the only ones worth robbing unless it was liberating a prison barge or something.

“Hey Luz~” Emira leaned close to Luz as she said this, sneaking up on her when seeing her in the market.

Once dinner was finished, Alex would set down his utensils and stand up. “Thank you for taking me in.” Though he was trying to sound sincere his voice was still tainted with a mixture of pain that seeing the former coven member’s face brought to his mind and the suspicion that reasonated as an aftershock. 

Picking up his plate, he would take it over to the sink and wash and dry them. “I wouldn’t mind talking with you if you want.” Though he wasn’t going to make any promises on his currently short temper. It would take some time for his temper to cool down to where it was before he had to flee.

Company the day after Christmas and before the yearly cleanse was always appreciated, as Don was sitting down with Lilith to rest his left leg over some tea.

While he reached over to grab his tea from the tray on the table in front of them, his shoulder nearest her had accidentally grazed hers... And apparently, a scar on that spot.

“?” He pulled back a bit upon seeing her reaction, tilting his head to the left in curiosity while his other hand moved to get the tea cup.

“It’s alright... I should have asked for you to move a bit before doing that, Miss Lilith.”

That reminds him... He needs to give her, Luz, and Amity their Christmas gifts (Although he’s not sure if they do celebrate the holidays in the Boiling Isles, regardless, the wool sweaters in their favorite colors would keep them warm in the cold weather days).

The crinkling sound didn’t take very long to locate. A little bat just sat munching away through the inside of a bag of Hex Mix that had been left out, paying little attention until he began to crawl out, full-bellied and satisfied.

He paused, staring directly into the witch’s eyes. A moment of silence fell between the two.

“I’m doing you a favor, you know,” The bat spoke suddenly. “I’m practically saving your life. It’s super stale... And can you believe how many calories are in these things? I mean really.”

Marketplace Mayday!

In the midst of Bonesborough’s bustling marketplace, a most entrancing performance was on full display and drawing in customers like flies to a corpse. 

“Step right up and take a seat, ladies and germs~! For you are about to experience the most thrilling show only a Master Witch can bring at the low, low price of admission oooooof about 100 snails a person~” The star of the show was none other than Magilou herself, who appeared with a loud ‘poof!’ and a showering of confetti. With a snap of her fingers, various magical glyphs manifested around her before launching advanced firework spells into the air. The extravagant display pulled many a customer away from whatever they were planning to buy, allured by Magilou’s foreign magic. 

“Pay no heed to any lowly merchants trying to scheme you out of your hard-earned money. Why pay for junk you could find at a dump for free when you can pay to experience the wonders of other worldly magic, here at Magilou’s Menagerie!” Magilou announced as she stood on top of what looked like a very large floating card. She could hear the money rolling in now...

Willow hadn’t been sure what was up with the former Glandus students, it had started out as friendly conversation with one or two who had been in the Plant track while she was doing some volunteer work in town with the local garden club.

Then they returned later and had begun to hang around for a lot longer than was necessary and it had begun to creep her out and had been considering sending them away by force before Hyram had shown up, catching her by surprise with the affection. She caught on to what he was doing when the goons kept their distance but she would be lying if she said that she wasn’t even just a little bit flustered by the affection, even if it was fake,

Once they finally left she cleared her throat awkwardly to speak, her cheeks more noticeably pink now as she realized that they were still holding hands but couldn’t bring herself to let go yet.

“Thank you, for uh, the help. Probably ended up being a better alternative than the idea I was considering before you showed up,” she laughed lightly, having been about to use some vines to chuck them down the street, that would have been much more disruptive.

Hearing the telltale rattle of bottles put Lilith on edge. She knew her boys were adventurous but they knew better than to mess with her liquor. Summoning Revas’ staff to her hand, she headed into the kitchen and turned the corner to the pantry where she had a special cabinet for the liquor. “Excuse you. That isn’t yours. Get. Out.”

There was no such thing as liquor she wouldn’t help herself to. No matter where it may be located. While Aquarius could live as long as she has by playing safe, she constantly threw such caution to the wind for her desire to have a drink. 

“Ah, you must be here to pour me my drink. What are you waiting for? I am parched.” The sea witch commented, not even remarking on the threat made against her.

Don wasn’t sure if mentioning Lilith and him helping her would be a good idea, waiting for Emira’s reaction to his explanation.
