As each year goes by, my birthdays become a more depressing time. #90sbaby I do my best to not ever think about how old I am getting. Any time I do think of my age, it just makes me unhappy. #90sbabies If any of you have any advice you would like to give me through this difficult time, I would love to be encouraged, motivated, uplifted, etc. through this gloomy time for me. #itsmybirthdaytoday My birthdays are a sorrowful time. There are so many things I thought I would have done by the age of 30, that I still have yet to do. And there is a possibility they will NEVER happen. I assumed I would have progressed through life way more than what I actually have. So in a nutshell, I just get depressed about my life. I feel as if I have not accomplished anything worthwhile in this life. I feel as if I died today, my life was in vain, which just that thought alone saddens me. #itismybirthday As you can see I could use a lot of prayer. I just pray in Jesus name somehow as I age more, that I can get to a place in life where I can appreciate the work that God has done in my life up to that point. #itsmybday Until that time comes, all I can do is continue to be faithful to the things God has placed in front of me. Throwback Sat. (#Back in the day Saturday??) Whatever... Throwback to me last year playing in a ball pit. Because my inner child is strong af and I let her out to play whenever she wants. That’s important! Seriously, though... Upon recent reflection (brought about by my 30th year approaching at lightyear speed), I’ve remembered how important it is to let yourself have some good, clean, child-like fun and to be okay with it. Trying to remember not to take yourself too seriously all the time, you know? Life’s a crazy journey with all types of ups and downs and forks in the road, but when you’ve got people that love you, a connection to your spirituality #mindbodyspirit , and the ability to do the things that you love to do and that feed your soul, then that is something to be supremely grateful for!
