Grace got a promotion and then immediately quit her job on the third day.

A question of Price.

A customer asks Grace for some additional information on two steam cleaners. Grace is familiar with both brands - DirtSquirter and Soilsport - and they are pretty identical, except for the price.

Grace points to the more expensive machine, asserting to the customer that there's really no question!

"My grandmother, Marisol Nebula, you may have heard of her, once said the best things in life are free. The next best, are very expensive." Boom! Another soilsport sold. Unfortunately, Grace doesn't work on commission, but her manager definitely takes notice of her fine upselling skills.

At the end of her day, she got a text from her boss appreciating what they saw her do on the retail floor and offered her a promotion.

Grace: "Oh thanks for the promo, but I quit!" Boss: "You're supposed to give 2 weeks notice!" Grace: "Lol you're lucky you got a text." Boss: "This is why I don't hire teenagers." Vulcan: "Quit your first job? We got to commemorate that!"
