Who is Shadow Weaver and how she and Mina get a kid, Mimi together?

uff so Shadow Weaver was in idea i had for a monster villian with bad motives like a counterpart to Mina in Galaxias universe there never was a Cresenta the Eager hence why Dirhennia kept her want. But Cresenta's soul existed but was birthed to diffrent parents...basically Shadow Weaver is a monster version of one of the most brutal and most sadistic of the mewni queens . For why Mina and Shadow Weaver have a kid that was because of a Challenge I did which included the need for a Mina offspring/child I had no one I shipped with Mina so I decided to go with a Chess theme I was going for with these two anyways hence Mimi and her being inspired by a chessboard...since my Star vs AU is sorta inspired by Alice in Wonderland...their the chessqueens Mina is white queen and Shadow Weaver black queen both constanly fighting because one wants Monsters gone the other the Mewmans.

Svtfoe Name Meanings

I started thinking about how a lot of Mewni queens have space-related names, and I started wondering if all their names have a connection to space. Turns out most of them do, with a few exceptions.

Star ⭐️ - this ones obvious. A star is defined as a massive ball of gas that produces large amounts of heat and light energy.

Moon 🌕 - also obvious. A moon is a celestial body that orbits a planet.

Comet ☄️- a comet is a ball of ice and rock that orbits the sun. Once it gets close to the sun, the ice melts and evaporates creating a “tail”.

Estrella 🌟 - Estrella is a name of Spanish origin which means “star”. Related to the name Stella that also means “star”.

Celena 🌖 - This name means Goddess of the Moon, and it has relation to the goddess Artemis. It’s also related to the word celestial which means “relating to the sky”.

Rhina 🌔 - I couldn’t find anything specific for this one, but I found two words it might be related to. Rhea is the name of one of Saturn’s moons, and a rima is a fissure on the surface of a moon or planet.

Crescenta 🌙 - Crescent moon

Dirhennia- I found absolutely nothing on this one. It doesn’t seem to have any meaning. This queen was kind of irrelevant anyway...

Festivia - I also couldn’t find anything on this one. It just seems to come from the word festive. I guess the high commission didn’t care enough to keep up the tradition.

Meteora 💫 - a meteor is a “shooting star”, or a streak of light caused by matter entering Earth’s atmosphere at a high speed.

Eclipsa 🌑 - an eclipse is when an object passes in front of another as seen from earth, casting a shadow. A lunar eclipse is when the earth casts a shadow on the moon, and a solar eclipse is when the moon casts a shadow on the earth.

Solaria ☀️ - comes from solar, meaning “relating to the sun”.

Jushtin - I couldn’t find much on this one. The name Justin means “just”, “fair”, or “rigorous”, but this doesn’t have a connection to space. I also thought maybe Jushtin was derived from Jupiter? Or maybe the Butterfly’s only give their daughters space related names...

Skywyne 🌌- This name means “holy sky” or “fair sky”. I found some sites that said it has Welsh origin, and there’s a village in Wales called Skewen so perhaps it has relation to that.

Lyric - Lyric is the name of Skywyne’s mother, the only queen after Moe we know about from before the book. The only meaning I could find was the words of a song, so this doesn’t seem to have any space connection. Maybe the tradition started with Skywyne.

Bonus:

Marco - this name comes from Mars, related to the Roman god Mars (also known as Aries), and meaning “warlike”.

Festiva and family headcanons to go with my mini-story:

Festivia nicknamed Dirhennia "Sunshine" when she was bitty as a bit of affectionate teasing. As in "there's my Sunshine peeking out of the sad clouds." Dirhennia found it comforting as she got older. On the other hand, Crescenta got the nickname "Starshine" and absolutely hated it because to her it was a reminder of being the little sister even though it wasn't intended that way.

The sisters' papa was often absent, supposedly doing diplomatic work. Really, he was every bit the party hound Festivia pretended to be, and "diplomacy" was often conducted in the middle of a bash. Their marriage was mostly a political convenience like her "parents'" had been, though they were much more fond of each other than Shastakan and Eclipsa ever were.

Festivia made liberal use of magic to keep herself cheery for the sake of those around her and because she activated those spells by drinking from her goblet-wand, it cultivated the image of a lush.

She also frequently used magic to keep her parties and people supplied, wearing herself to sickness through overuse of her magic pool. When this happened, she would excuse herself from the festivities claiming headaches, which added to the rumors.

Dirhennia's the only one who knows otherwise. Crescenta, on the other hand, resented her mother's apparent alcoholism as a "true" queen could get by without having to rely on such things, just as she resented her sister's dismal moods. (She'd learn the hard way later.)

Festivia tried her damnedest not to play favorites, as she knew all too well what it was like to feel unloved by parental figures. But Crescenta often picked fights accusing her of doing so because she didn't make Dirhennia act more "queenly". In truth, she didn't make Crescenta do it either, Crescenta was doing it all to herself to prove she was better than her sister.

Festivia was often unnerved by Mina and the other Solarians, though she accepted the necessity of them protecting the kingdom. Had it not been for the seige, she might have tried to win monsterkind over with her generosity and spirit.

She was also very uncomfortable around the MHC, constantly feeling like they regarded her as some sort of time bomb, being the daughter of the runaway queen. (It wouldn't have been any better if she knew the truth.) She did love Heckapoo though, at least her "auntie" tried.

She eventually found out her "mother" didn't exactly get eaten by monsters. The one big fight she had with Heckapoo was a result.

She probably would have gotten on very well with Star.

Little research help please?

I've been trying FOREVER to find out where Dirhennia Butterfly gets her name from, and so far my search has come up with squat! I don't know who on the show created Dirhennia when writing Star and Marco's Guide, so I'm not sure which creator to ask.

It's killing me because her name is a mystery! I can hardly find anything it could be a reference to or pun off of. It's not a space-y name like most of the queens, and I can't find any real life references to it (other than the chemical compound dirhenium, Durendal the sword of Roland, or the Direnni clan of Elder Scrolls).

Change PT. 1

Hello, this is Cristal_Prata.

As I mentioned, I will talk about the changes in the AU, I had to do it in a separate chapter, because there would be a lot of stuff in the first chapter.

Early years

Let's start from the beginning (redundant I know)

The first Queen who in his AU was called "Urania" buuuut, I'm going to change her name to "Moerina", reason, to be more similar to the "name" of the first Queen mentioned in the Drawing, in her lore (which I also changed) "Moe" was her real name, but she later added "Rina" which means queen in high Mewnian (it's the equivalent of Regina in Latin)

I removed some parts of the second Queen, like the one who could be blamed for her sister's death, and her name and title went back to being the first ones (I much prefer the old names than the ones he put in the final version), going from "Solena, the passionate" to "Usaginya, the Dancer" again.

Age of Ascension

My beloved father, let the games begin.

Estelaria changed a lot, I really had to change her clothes, first, the time period that corresponds to the first years/beginning of the ascension era, would be more or less in the Middle Ages (476 AD to 1453), so I changed the clothes, and also the fact that she was a much more careful mother in relation to Hemera and Nixie, seriously how did she not notice that Nixie hated Hemera to the last atom?

Hemera... First I removed the stereotypical part of the Egyptian people, she never practiced belly dancing, she only watched the performances, she also had no contact with men before the age of 18, and I added that she had a friend from the Camelidae kingdom, where she became interested in the excellent agility of this kingdom in the architectural part, and she used clothes that were more consistent with ancient Egyptian fashion, obviously based on historical and archaeological sources.

Well, in Cosmic she did explore dimensions... During her adolescence, but after Hemera's death, she stopped exploring dimensions and began exploring her own continent and also in these adventures, seeking to establish political alliances with other kingdoms. And the fact that Pixar and Costella were the bastard children of Nixie's husband. The last time she went to a dimension, it was to find a 14th birthday present for Polaria.

I made sure to include influences from the "Pirate Queen of Ireland" Grace O'Malley, I also changed her style, seriously, she needed more comfortable clothes for the high seas, and one thing that I found strange when rereading the biographies of his queens is the fact that he doesn't mention how the Butterfly kingdom began to have a political alliance with the Kelpbotton kingdom, yes it is mentioned in Festivia's biography, but how this alliance came about is not mentioned, that's why I put that it was Polaria that started the alliance between the Kelpbotton kingdom and the Butterfly kingdom.

The most difficult to change.

Dirhennia, in this version, is autistic, "but why, it's a sealing", I'm autistic just so you know, she helped Crescenta a lot in the reign, because it was Dirhennia who devised laws for the Butterfly Kingdom, and she was an extremely careful advisor in Pheobe's reign.

It may not seem like it, but Crescenta's biography is very sexualized, so I removed this question. She also established a law that said that "If your spouse is having an extramarital relationship and is displaying this, divorce is permitted, as it is characterized as a connection to the partner who was betrayed." Such a thing that after approving this law (which had Dirhennia's help in idealizing this law), she divorced Hawk after discovering the countless bastards he had, in addition to creating the support fund for single mothers and widows, but also for widowers and widows of soldiers. Crescenta never had affairs or remarried, but she died due to HIV which she contracted from Hawk.

Pheobe didn't change much, except that Waxinne died due to pneumonia, and she was also born with HIV due to Hawk passing it on to Crescenta.

Pheobe in this version was more inspired by Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, especially in the part where Queen Victoria wore black until her last days of life after the death of her husband, Prince Albert. Pheobe wore small red accessories, but they were extremely discreet.

As for Festivia, I also removed the stereotypes of the Greek people, and went more to the historical and archaeological basis, she never tried alcohol when she was in the Silvan kingdom, but she became addicted towards the end of her life, and when the juice of the grapes from the Silvan kingdom splashed into her eyes, her eyes did not change color, but she had blurred vision for a long time.

“Can’t I just use your happiness spell, Mama?”

In the middle of straightening up from their hug, Festivia stiffened at the question sniffled into her dress. “My...” She swallowed. “Sunshine, what makes you think I’ve got a happiness spell?”

Dirhennia raised her head, scrubbing at still-wet eyes with the heel of her hand. “When Papa invited all his friends without tellin’ you last full moon.” Another sniffle, another scrub. “You whispered somethin’ in your wand an’ it glowed, an’ you were all happy again after you drank from it.”

Festivia closed her eyes and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. She’d known she would get caught using Skywynne’s spell eventually, as often as she’d had to rely on it, but getting caught by her daughter was still an unfortunate surprise. “That’s... That’s not a real happiness spell, Sunshine. It just lets me look like I’m happy.”

“Then you didn’t really want Papa’s friends here?”

She pinched the bridge of her nose. “It would be nice if he bothered to give me a little advance warning every once in a while,” she muttered, and that at least earned a watery giggle. “But listen, Sunshine. People expect me to be happy. That’s what they know me for, that’s what makes them happy.”

“But you’re not.”

“Not always.” Deciding the first hug wasn’t quite enough considering the direction their conversation had headed, Festivia scooped her daughter up into her arms and turned in the direction of the kitchens. “Nobody’s happy always. But you don’t have to worry about hiding it like me, alright? You’re still my little girl, not a queen. You just be as sad as you want to be when you need to be, and you can always be happy another time.”

“Promise?”

Festivia gave her a squeeze. “Sugar fairy cookie promise.”

“Three sugar fairy cookie promises?”

“We’ll see when we get to the kitchens.”
