In Bloodborne’s Old Hunters DLC, by the first lamp in the Fishing Hamlet there is the corpse of a diplomoceras. After a brief google search, nobody else has made this discovery (or posted about it) (in English)

Diplomoceras — рід амонітів, що входить до родини Diplomoceratidae. Скам’янілості видів цього роду були знайдені в пізньокрейдових відкладеннях (віковий діапазон: кампан-маастрихт). Дослідження диплоцератів свідчать про те, що представники цього роду могли досягати тривалості життя понад 200 років.

Ok where is my diplomoceras shaped novelty paper clip? Why hasn’t this been made yet? I cannot find one. I need to learn how to make a paper clip I guess

Please look at this bloody stupid ammonite

It is Diplomoceras cylindraceum and I just saw it on Prehistoric Planet 2.

Please note that its shell, if straightened out, would be 2.5 metres long and it only used a metre of that for living in. It used to live all over the world and offer mosasaurs help with their Word documents.

Maastrichtian Invertebrates of Antarctica

The 10 Maastrichtian Antarctician Invertebrates I can confidently draw.

Convergent evolution is the evolution of 'analogous' or similar structures in organisms that are not closely related. Such as the wings of insects, birds and bats. One potential example of this is the Diplomoceras maximum, an extinct squid-like creature who is clearly analogous to, or a distant cousin of Clippy the paperclip. This amazing creature lived 68 million years ago, with the most notable fossil found at the cephalopod rich López de Bertodano Formation of Seymour Island, Antarctica. An area that was formerly warmer before further movement of tectonic plates. The fossil shell measured an impressive 1.5 metres and is formed from ridges, speculated to grow a section annually. These ribs are thought be similar to tree rings, being used for dating samples and gaining insight about the environment of the prehistoric sea, such as measuring the carbon and oxygen isotopes in the shell.
