Super Wings (alongside Katuri and Dinoster) is actually at the Korea Character Licensing Fair at the funnyflux booth (from the 18th of July to the 21th)
Also a little corner celebrating the upcoming 10th anniversary of the show.

please answer honestly, or simply hit show results. if there's interest, i can make one for illusions as well. If there's any confusion on terminology, let me know and I'll be happy to explain.
reblogs to increase sample size are appreciated, but nobody is under any pressure to reblog this.

thinking about how getting turned into a vampire canonically didn’t actually change Spike’s farsightedness or make it go away, he just became punk and decided that glasses didn’t go with his outfits anymore

Digit Jamming
Continuous Spell
During damage calculation, if a monster battles while a monster with 1000 or more ATK is on the field: The ATK of all monsters currently on the field becomes reduced by 1000 for every 1000 ATK they have, also their DEF becomes reduced by 1000 for every 1000 DEF they have. If this card is destroyed: Apply the above ATK/DEF adjustments to all monsters currently on the field, until the end of this turn.
-
No thousands digit for anyone! This card is not very good, but there are a couple things you could try with it. One option is to run a bunch of monsters with X950/X900 atk or def to always win battle.
Dracoslayer/Dracoverlord:
Master Pendulum, the Dracoslayer (1950 atk)
Lector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord (1950 atk)
Master Peace, the True Dracoslayer (2950 atk, 2950 def)
Amorphactor Pain, the Imagination Dracoverlord (2950 atk)
Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer (2950 def)
Ignis Phoenix, the Dracoslayer (1900 def)
Luster Pendulum, the Dracoslayer (1850 atk)
Vector Pendulum, the Dracoverlord (1850 atk)
Majester Paladin, the Ascending Dracoslayer (1850 atk)
Ignister Prominence, the Blasting Dracoslayer (2850 atk)
Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King (2950 atk, 2950 def, banned)
Evilswarm:
Evilswarm Nightmare (950 atk, 1950 def)
Evilswarm Salamandra (1850 atk, 950 def)
Evilswarm Heliotrope (1950 atk)
Evilswarm Azzathoth (1950 def)
Evilswarm Ouroboros (1950 def)
Evilswarm Exciton Knight (1900 atk)
Evilswarm Zahak (1850 atk)
Evilswarm Hraesvelg (1850 def)
Gizmek (not technically an archetype, but has support for machines whose atk equals their own def):
Gizmek Naganaki, the Sunrise Signaler (950 atk, 950 def)
Gizmek Okami, the Dreaded Deluge Dragon (2950 atk, 2950 def)
Gizmek Arakami, the Hailbringer Hog (1850 atk, 1850 def)
Deep-Space Cruiser IX (900 atk, 900 def)
Superheavy Samurai Fist (900 atk, 900 def)
Vylon Tetra (900 atk, 900 def)
Koa’ki Meiru
Koa'ki Meiru Beetle (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Crusader (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Drago (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Gravirose (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Guardian (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Ice (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Overload (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Sandman (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Sea Panther (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Wall (1900 atk)
Koa'ki Meiru Hydro Barrier (1900 def)
Unaffected
Another thing you can do is have a monster that is unaffected by Digit Jamming and that has at least 1000 atk or def. It keeps its usual stats while everything else becomes dinky.
Born from Draconis (the monster summoned with it)
Dododo Bot
Geomathmech Final Sigma
Pulao, Wind of the Yang Zing (the monster summoned with it)
Qliphort Genius
Stand-Off (the targeted monster)
The Arrival Cyberse @ Ignister
The Legendary Fisherman III
The Monarchs Awaken (the targeted monster)
Trifortressops

Dinoster Power, the Mighty Dracoslayer
“1 ‘Dracoslayer’ Pendulum Monster + 1 Pendulum Monster
Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by Tributing the above cards. (You do not use ‘Polymerization’.) Pendulum Monster Cards in your Monster Zones and Pendulum Zones cannot be destroyed by battle or your opponent’s card effects. Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 ‘Dracoslayer’ Pendulum Monster from your hand or Graveyard, but it cannot be used as a Fusion Material.”

So, I finished Semi-Nomis, so let’s talk about Semi-Nomis. Like the previous, I’ll only talk about archetypes that have vanilla Effect Semi-Nomis:
*Backup Warrior i kinda pointless. Synchro Warriors don’t have support for main deck monsters anyway, so...
*Magna Warriors are not amazing, but they are servicable. There needs to be more generic Rock support to use them though.
*Gofu and Gram are both pointless Semi-Nomis, since Gofu remains banned and Gram does not need to be a Semi-Nomis. Gofu is obviously broken, but giving it a summoning restriction is meaningless if  it doesn’t mean much.
*Alternative Dragons are Semi-Nomis due to their gimmick, which is acceptable.
*OG Chaos Trio are kind of pointless these days, but I like their summoning method still. They are responsible for proliferation of LIGHT and DARK monsters, though.
*Storm Dragon is pointless, needs an upgraded form because its art is at least cool looking.
*Dinoster Power is a Semi-Nomi due to the gimmicks of Dracoslayers covering every major summoning method/Monster Card Type, which is acceptable.
*Dark Dragster is a Semi-Nomi to avoid you from summoning the F.A. Level 9 Synchro willy nilly, but that will be irrelevant the moment F.A.s get more support.
*Flower Cardians are largely composed of Semi-Nomis for their main deck monsters, but again, this is due to their gimmick.
*Giga Rays Gandora is a Semi-Nomi, but it hasn’t been released in TCG IIRC, so whatever.
*A few of the Cubics are also Semi-Nomi, but again, that is due to rule of Cool.
*Gate Guardian is technically a Guardian, but ideally it would have its own archetype already.
*Does anybody use Lady Sisters outside of Duel Links? Pretty sure Harpies these days use Rank 4s.
*Sutekh is another Semi-Nomi where I have to ask “why is this restricted”?
*Koa’ki Meiru Maximus is the only true archetypal boss monster in this group, that is not an Extra Deck monster. Wow.
*Machina Cannon is like Machina Force. Machinas need real monsters.
*Remaining Malefics besides the Gears are Semi-Nomis, and yeah, this is their gimmick.
*Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk is basically the secondary boss monster of Meklords. Since its burn damage is super specific, you won’t use it much. Instead, you will use it for its ATK gain gimmick and maybe because it is a Level 10 Machine for Rank 10 memes, though it is DARK, instead of EARTH.
*Smartfon is a Semi-Nomi because...?
*Trasher and Vanisher are both kinda pointless since you have like a bajillion Level 4 Photons. At least Vanisher has super good effects, Trasher is just a Level 4 beatstick, in an archetype composed of high level/rank beatsticks.
*Red-Eyes have technically three Semi-Nomis, but Darkness Metal isn’t a Semi-Nomi. Again.
*Scrap Orthos is a Semi-Nomi...because? I mean it looks cool, and its effect is decent for the archetype, but it doesn’t have obscenely high stats, and you can Special Summon it super easily.
*Early Toons are largely composed of Semi-Nomis, but I’m more curious as to why we don’t have a “Mermaid” archetype for Mermaid Archer(Red Archery Girl in English)/Toon Mermaid. I mean sure, there is Mermails, but that’s not exactly the same thing.
*Volcanic Queen is a Semi-Nomi due to animé. No really, this card was used by one of the Truemans(Truemen?) against Axel, as a means of dramatic irony. It is effectively a worse Sphere Mode that burns everyone. Volcanics deserve better, like an archetypal spell that allows them to Tribute opponents monster, it fits with their theme too.
Generally speaking, main deck Semi-Nomis, unlike their Nomi counterparts exist largely to support their archetypes rather than to serve as boss monsters of their archetype.

okay so a few people showed interest in a post going further into this topic so here goes.
Hallucination: "A perception-like experience with the clarity and impact of a true perception but without the external stimulation of the relevant sensory organ." This means perceiving something to be there, real in the physical world, when there isn't actually anything in reality causing causing the perception.
these can be:
auditory (hearing things)
visual (seeing things)
olfactory (smelling things)
gustatory (tasting things)
tactile (feeling things on or under skin)
somatic (feeling things further within the body)
Illusion: "A misperception or misinterpretation of a real external stimulus." This means that there is in the real physical world, something causing the perception, but the brain is sending signals that whatever is being perceived is something else. Examples would be seeing an inanimate object as being an animal, hearing wind blowing as human voices, etc.
Both of these are things that many people will experience at least once in their lives, for various reasons. However, if it is causing impairment to functioning/making it harder to go about your life, then it is considered to be a symptom.
sources here are the DSM-V, as well as like, personal experience lol.

in s2e03 when Spike was supposed to wait for the Feast of Saint Vigeous to make any move on Buffy but crashed the parent-teacher conference instead, and later said in his own defense “I was rash. And if I had to do it all other again...who am I kidding? I would do it exactly the same.”
in s2e07 when Buffy was supposed to wait until nine to meet up with Ford but came hours early when the sun was still up outside and said “I just couldn't wait till tonight! I'm rash and impulsive. It's a flaw.”

So, Yu-Gi-Oh time again.
After prompting from a fellow friend of mine, I’ve pulled out my old Igknights deck and am trying to give it new life. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is ther evolution(?) archetype - the Metalfoes. I mean, they’re both Normal Monster/Pendulum archetypes that thrive off self-destruction and field swarming. They seemed like a perfect fit for eachother.
And they are. They really, really are.
The MetalKnights deck is surprisingly effective in use - with the Igknight’s focus on self-destructing to set up for a pendulum summon swarm, Metalfoes Adamantite and Crimsonite are shockingly easy to obtain. Their effects also work quite well with Metalfoes Counter - use their pendulum effects to destroy both Igknight scales, add an Igknight to your hand AND summon a free Metalfoes to the field.
The fact they’re all normal monsters also makes Heart of the Underdog a very useful card. Got it active while you drew an Igknight or Metalfoe (other than Igknight Champion, Lancer, and/or Raremetalfoes Bismusgear)? Draw again. Pulled another one? Draw yet again.
Throwing in Luster Pendulum is quite useful, too. If you get it and Igknight Paladin, Igknight Templar or Metalfoes Goldriver on the field, you’ve got yourself an Ignister Prominence on the field. If you don’t have the right levels, go for Dinoster Power - 50 short of 3000 Defence, protects your pendulum scales (but doesn’t hinder your own destruction effects!), and doesn’t even need any Polymerisation to pull out.
And finally, Royal Magical Library is a good card to use in it. For those who aren’t familiar: Whenever a Spell Card is activated, RML gains a spell counter (to a maximum of three). You can remove three spell counters from it to draw 1 card from your deck. What does this mean? Each time you put a new card in the pendulum scales, RML gains a counter. Which is precisely what the Igknights focus on doing - setting the scales, then blowing up to allow for new scales. The Metalfoes help with this too, since the Metalfoes poly cards are all spells, too. If you get RML on the field at the start, you’ll usually end up starting a long chain of continuous re-drawing, setting you up exactly how you need to be early on.
Oh, and of course, the results of my Saturday ranking, wherein I used MetalKnights: 15th of 38 - Three wins, two losses.
