What are some genuinely good dinosaur roleplaying games?

I got The Isle for my birthday a few years ago and could never figure out how to even play. And then I heard people saying how terrible it is?

I've heard of Saurian and Path of Titans. Any of those good?

Preferrably I'd like to play something that isn't early access. After Second Extinction's terminal shutdown I am way too wary of putting my money into games that might become eternally unplayable down the road. (But that was a shooter, not a play-as-a-dino)

Was there a similar thing to Ark: Survival Evolved that was around circa 2008-2012? because I had very similar experiences with some fandom game wiki when I was in highschool with trying to look up dinosaurs/ammonites, but I just looked up that game and it's only from 2015, which is the year I was senior in college.

Maybe you were getting Jurassic Park related stuff? it's a huge problem, too. or maybe there was another game that did that from then. I don't really remember? That time was the time of Spore, for me anyway

Also, eyyy we're like the same age! I graduated college in '15!
