If Grogu was with Luke for two years that means that Din and Luke had some form of communication with each other for at least two years !!!!!! that's probably how Din knew Luke's last name and where to find them 🥺

I still think we should have had at least one or two episodes of Din’s Hot Apostate Summer in season 3, Din spiraling because he lost Grogu and his religion all in one go and he like. Has a drink at a bar. Smooches a daimyo and/or marshal. Goes to a restaurant. Because he’s an apostate and that’s what apostates Do. Then Grogu comes back and he talks to the armorer because even tho he tried the other way he wants to protect his child and live as a Mandalorian (the way he knows how to) once more. So he seeks redemption, but with even more self security than he had before, the knowledge that he really knows who he is you know???

it’s practically the end of the third season and we still don’t have din’s backstory we learned he was raised on concordia but we don’t know anything about those first days we don’t know anything about the mandalorian who rescued him we don’t know what it was like for him to adjust to the way we don’t know how he became a bounty hunter or how he got the razor crest we don’t know anything about the guy we have spent 20+ episodes with we don’t know anything the guy who the captions still refer to as the mandalorian
