Forgotten (Dillon)

CAN I HAVE A DILLON RUPP IMAGINE MY NAME IS CARIN AND CAN THE PLOT BE HE FORGETS OUR 1 YEAR OF DATING BUT TAYLOR REMEMBERS IT THEN A DAY LATER TAYLOR COMES AND TAKES ME TO HIS HOUSE WHERE DILLON IS THERE CRYING AND THEN WE JUST CUDDLE ALL DAY

You pace back and fourth in your bedroom. Dillon had forgotten your anniversary. He had remembered every other anniversary except this one. It was the most important one, it was a year. 

You've texted Dillon all day and he hasn't mentioned it. He hasn't attempted to hangout or come over or even call you. Your frustration builds and it all becomes too much. You start crying and throw your phone across the room. You collapse on your bed and scream in the pillow. Your eyes become heavy and you soon fall asleep, angry, upset, forgotten. 

You wake up the next morning to the sound of your phone ringing. You get out of bed and pick your phone up off the floor. You see Taylor's name on the screen and decide to answer it.

"(Y/N), you need to come over. Dillon completely forgot about it yesterday and I mentioned it to him this morning and now he's a wreck. I'll be over to pick you up in 15 minutes." With that Taylor hangs up the phone without letting you speak.

You go to the bathroom and brush your teeth, hair, and wash your face. You go back to your room and throw on a pair of sweatpants and a tshirt. By the time you're ready, Taylor is knocking on the front door.

You open it and Taylor pulls you into a hug.

"I know you're mad, but he feels so bad and has been crying all morning." Taylor whispers in your ear. 

You nod your head and start walking to his car. You open the door and climb in. 

The car ride is silent. You sit there staring out the window, trying to hold back tears. 

Once you get to Dillon's house, you slowly make your way inside. You walk into the living room and Dillion is sitting on the couch. He looks up at you and jumps up, running over to you and wrapping you in a hug.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I completely forgot and I know that's not an excuse. I'll make it up to you, I promise. Please, don't hate me." Dillon cries.

You look up at him. His eyes are bloodshot and puffy. His cheeks are stained with tears. Seeing him like that broke you. You've never seen him that way.

You lean up and press your lips to his. He pulls you further into him, pulling on your hips. Your lips fit perfectly together and sparks run through your entire body.

"I forgive you. I was mad at first, but I can't see you like this." 

"I'll make it up to you, I swear." Dillon says, pressing another kiss to your lips.

You lead him over to the couch and cuddle up in his chest. This is how it is suppose to be. You wrapped up in his arms, not forgotten.
