Honestly, we should just banish people to the districts for three absolute violations in one article of clothing. And - a maxi dress! No one's been wearing them since spring at least!

It will come as no surprise to learn that Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos have invested heavily in “climate vaccines“.
The pair are bankrolling the development of a vaccine designed to reduce the methane produced by cattle.
In the video below Josh Sigurdson of World alternative Media reports on how they are pushing this latest agenda:
“Jeff Bezos’ “Earth Fund” is attempting to do something Bill Gates has also been investing in for years. So-called “vaccines” that stop cows from emitting gas. Of course this is simply an excuse to inject cows with mysterious poisons which then end up being fed to the masses. These injections are the latest example of the “poisoning of the well” as we also see the push for mRNA Bird Flu “vaccines” in the food supply.
This latest story once again correlates the World Economic Forum’s goal of net zero with the Covid hoax as the WEF openly stated in 2022 that “Covid” was a test for compliance to bring in climate policies and 15 Minute Cities.
Recently, the United Nations Pact For The Future was signed by 193 countries and includes the net zero agenda, the eventual banning of meat, the shuttering of bank accounts if you say negative things about the establishment online and the integration of carbon credits attached to your bank account.
As we see weather modification across the board causing disasters, as we see the war on farmers, as we see the push for both World War 3 and Civil War which would allow the state to bring in emergency orders while destroying the supply chain, as we see the mass culling of animals under the guise of “Bird Flu,” as we see inflation driving food prices up, it’s blatantly clear the direction they’re leading us to. The destruction of the supply chain, the poisoning of what is left and the enforcement of rations on digital IDs. The global technocracy nears more every day.
We are witnessing mass death from the “Covid vaccines” and as more is exposed about the hoax, we’re being hit by a dozen other things to not only distract us but keep people in a perpetual state of fear so that the culprits themselves can come in and pretend to be a “solution.”
The solution is you. Reject the system. Withdraw from the system. Build your own, grow your own, stock up and exit the global financial system as much as possible.”

happy sts!
yap to me about the oc that’s currently on your mind right now! give me silly facts, interesting tidbits, anything!
and have a lovely day ✨
OH
happy sts!
the oc that's currently on my mind--to be honest my thoughts are divided between totsuka and dimitri from completely different wips (mostly because ive been in a drawing mood and i rlly want to settle on a design for both of them)
Totsuka is, well, sort of a princess? She's the youngest child of a nobleman (he has one wife and *checks notes* seven consorts) in a fantasy world (her country is inspired by feudal japan) and her story is basically a mess but let's set that aside. She is a magic user and in my setting every user has an inertia--there are four (?) elements, and an experient magician shouldn't have much difficulty switching from one to another. The magic you use is based off the element your internal cycle is in, and if you don't actively choose one, it usually settles for one on its own (aka your default element, which we call the inertia)--and Totsuka's default is fire.
Her personality is mostly based off the Shounen Protagonist archetype! She's not very clever and is quite stubborn and hotheaded and would do anything to protect her friends. She values her own interests and dreams very high--and she also has the charisma to get people on her side. I'm sort of co-writing this one with my brother and he's a huge fan of everything shounen (like that One Piece anime) so a lot of the inspiration comes from there.
We're working on an adventure plot fighting against perhaps an evil empire and throwing some fantasy races here and there--it's not a very fleshed out wip but it'll come together eventually (and I'm not very concerned about that since im focusing on Meine currently) so my biggest frustration rn is her design! She used to have light blue hair (she's probably got some fae ancestors and they have colorful hair so she also does) but now since I decided her inertia is fire, I wanted to communicate that on her appearence so her hair is now a gradient of red and yellow (lemme doodle it real quick)
Tumblr media
[ID: Digital doodle of a faceless and thin girl with mid brown skin and long curly hair that starts red at the top and shifts to yellow towards the middle. /end ID.]
I have a notion of her face and hairstyle (subject to change) but her clothes??? I had a red puffy one a while ago but I don't think it suits her because it's way too warm and she travels the world so it'd get too hot and then I made a few other iterations but I also want her design to make lil references to the other protagonist (Olamina) but that's also tricky because *his* county is on subsaharian africa (or the equivalent in the setting) and their cultures are completely different so how would that even work
Yea I'm not very experienced at character design but I like my girl tot a lot
For the other character (from Meine! The wip im currently focusing in!), Dimitri, they were like recently conceptualized but her lore is suprisingly clear to my standards considering she's new. I was having trouble deciding his gender but then i decided to just well... leave it? I don't know their gender. They use all pronouns (she/it/they/he/neos...). She's also a child soldier/living weapon!
(There is one single image i want to base her appearence in but let's forget that one for now lol)
Dimitri starts the story off as a villain (yay!) because it was raised by the villain (a powerful and greedy CEO that wants to steal the powers of some of the main characters that get together in order to stop her) and it's all they've ever known. Later on, she's captured by the protagonists and after a few events (that part is obscure to me tho) he joins their side.
I also really, really like that accidentally I made a paralel between her and one of the mcs, Ceres. Ceres has the power of the Archive (she can copy and store people's powers for later use, with some limitations) and was also raised in an unconventional way. Back when she was around six, her mother gave her away to be the test subject of a project, and Dimitri was also abandoned and taken in by the villain. Dimitri's powers are also similar (the Copycat: he can copy/steal people's powers) and their backstories were just so close to being switched up. Ceres ended up in a pretty warm environment, because the leader of the project she's the subject of is a sweet guy that loves children, while Dimitri is, well, a child soldier. Dimitri's name is also based off the word Demeter, the greek goddess of agriculture. Now, Ceres is, would you guess, the roman name for the same goddess! I named them this way on accident but after I noticed it I'm just. Very happy with these coincidences. I thought of them while my mind was wondering in the direction of a role reversing AU.
I also love living weapons

The more I think about my hobbies and achievements (or lack thereof), the weirder I realize my life is. I had never really thought about some of these things until as of recent, specifically when someone introduced to another as "cool". Like what.
First things first that I've talked about on here is I'm an oboe player. Which is already a kind of "different" instrument to play. And, actually, I've been third chair in the All-District wind ensemble for grades 11-12. So there's that.
Another thing I tend to tell people /if prompted/ is I'm a nationally recognized Scottish Highland dancer. I placed third in the southeast regionals and qualified to perform in Las Vegas along with everyone else who qualified across the country. This one is kinda like my "fun fact" during ice breakers 'cause it's something I know won't be repeated.
I'm a digital artist, as you all know, but I also do traditional art often. A few of my paintings in my portfolio helped me score a spot in NCSU's ID program. Maybe one day I'll scan them and post here.
I'm a singer. This one goes multiple ways as in: HS choir, church choir, musical theatre, and bands. I just like singing and got blessed with a nice voice... I think.
I can bake and decorate very well. As in won a cookie decorating contest at the NC State Fair well. That was a good year for me :). But it's also the perfect ganache every time kind of good. I guess the same can be said about cooking given no meal I've made has gone wrong or tasted bad. I seriously hope it stays that way.
This next one only partially counts because while I'm not /fluent/ by any means, I can somewhat comfortably hold a conversation in a few languages. French, Spanish, Japanese, and, strangely enough, Swahili, are languages I've worked on since uhhhh... I don't know at this point. And I've since added Scottish Gaelic to that list to work on. Languages just fascinate me and I plan to travel A LOT when I get the money to do so.
I do archery in my free time. Often enough I have my own bow and arrows. It’s fun. And last time I went to an actual range I never missed a target which I’m totally bragging here but it’s also just a fun activity to get anger out, you know?
Back to the musical theatre thing, I actually was called back for an audition to enroll at UNCSA, but did not make it. And back in freshman year, I did this whole Society Performers multi-class thing, but cut it short to work on my studies. So while I probably could have gone into theatrics, I don't think that would have been the best choice for me.
An going further back to the instruments, I can also play piano, ukulele, and clarinet, but lessons are those were far fewer than oboe.
Time for the weirder stuff.
I definitely have ADHD, and so does my dad, but we're both undiagnosed so let's just not go there.
I can't whistle or roll my tongue. People always seem really surprised by this one but it's not like I'm in a tiny percentage with that one.
I'm nearsighted in one eye and far sighted in the other, and I also only require one contact lense/prescription. Actually let's call this the whacky section.
I'm allergic to celery. Yes, celery. And only that. Not pollen, not pets, not dust, not even ragweed, but celery. And only when it's raw. Cooked in a dish? Fine. Raw in a salad? Cotton-mouthed and itchy. Not terribly sad about it though.
I can't ride a bike. Like, I know how to in theory, but I just never had a bike growing up. My older sister's always had a flat tire, and by the time my younger brother got one, I was too big to ride it. So I scooter instead :).
I have perfect pitch, as in I hear a pitch, and can tell you the note it is, and can tell you what key a song is originally in and sing it. I would get in trouble a lot as a kid for "picking a fight" with my siblings by telling them, "it actually goes like this," and then changing the key they were singing in. While many find this cool or helpful, unless you're a music student or something, it's actually annoying. The car radio is always a few microtones sharp and there's nothing I can do to make it in tune. My choir teacher would also have me sing the starting pitch for songs, no tuner, which was nerve-wracking.
WOW this was just me ranting (bragging) lol, sorry about that, but hey! Now you know more about me!
If you have any questions or comments, don't be afraid to ask! Or, y'know, do the whole asks thing. I think I changed the icon for that but I'm not sure.

Im sorry for bringing it up again and Im sorry if im being annoying posting about the election here in my country but I feel its important more people also know about it.
If you read about how bukele got "historical winning numbers" in the polls, I want you to know its bullshit.
Yesterday several voting centers presented irregularities, the one near my house got hit with TWO electricity blackouts, people also reported that even tho they were selected to take care and recieve the votes (a process that happens here every election, a group of people gets selected from their IDs and they are required to take a class to ensure impartiality) when they arrived to the voting center they were told their service was not needed as they already had people working on it (mostly people from bukele's party) some didnt even recieve the permit to be there, even tho they were selected and went to the workshops.
Not only that, the system they "created" to count the votes digitally did not fucking work. The TSE (Supreme Electoral Court) did a test days before and claimed it was "overwhelmingly succesful" while people who were there reported it. Didnt. Fucking. Worked. Yesterday if you revised the TSE website and check how many voted had been counted it would always show how nuevas ideas (bukele's party) was winning by a majority of millions... But in the "how many votes have been counted" would say something like "3/367", people counting voted also reported EVERY nuevas ideas vote was being counted as double.
Usually when a ballot has been scribbled in any way that did not correlate with how it is instructed to vote (mark an X on face of candidate or flag of party) it was counted as a null vote. Well now it turns out as long as you scribbled ANYTHING, insulrs, dicks, horns in bukele's zone it now counted as a valid vote.
Today is 5th of February and the TSE has NOT released a full count of the votes because the system does not work. And yet everyone is already "celebrating" the victory, an inconstitutional, illegal and rigged victory fully cementing El Salvador as having a dicstorship.

Hey finnie!! Congrats on 1k!!! You deserve it!!!!
I wanted to see if you'd do no 9 for me cause I'm so curious as to who you'd pick. You know me p well by this point but I'll still tell you about myself as if ya didn't >:]
So hey, I'm a mexican-american living in socal, I work full time as a post production assistant transferring every old from of audio and video you can think of to digital and im very passionate about media conservation. I have immigrant parents so the connection to my culture isent that far off- but I grew up in Southern California and it shows. I was diagnosed with schizophrenia when I was a teen but later was rediagnosed with DID, I also have depression and believe I am on the spectrum. I love to draw and watch film when i have the time but mostly i just listen to audiobooks because i can do that at work. I've always had to work a lot, whether it's night shifts at the warehouse, 50+ hour weeks or nightclub gigs after work I'm always doing *something*. The fact that I have to work so much bums me out a Lot and I want to explode the concept of capitalism but that doesnt stop me from taking an absurd amount of pride in being a hard worker, I get it from my dad. I don't sleep very much, people always find it strange but no matter what time I fall asleep I will wake up 4-5 hours later without alarms and still feel well-rested. Like I mentioned I read a LOT cause I do it on the job, my favorite books are true crime and horror (Grady Hendrix is my all time fave author) but I also get through a ton of history books- mainly medical and historys of conflict. I watch movies whenever I get the chance, I love horror!! It's comforting to me. Most of my favorite films are from the 70s. Oh I love getting tattoos and if I had the money for it id get one everyday, I love the feeling a lot. I listen to a lot of different kinds of music, 80s pop and goth, old punk, 60s and 70s rock, oldies, 90s grunge and reggae, 2000s emo, rap and indie, modern industrial goth, old country as well as mariachi, corridos, reggaeton and Mexican rock. Really genuinely love most kinds of music, but my fave is anything I can sing or dance to. Like I said I have DID which is a pretty big part of me but simultaneously so small, after therapy I was able to get to a place where my alters don't really front unless there's an agreement to do so and it's mostly for comfort and healing reasons now but I live most of my life with one or more riding passenger seat if that makes sense? There's always someone I can talk to or ask for advice. My ideal night out is a night dancing at some alternative club or maybe karaoke at a dinky little bar. I also love to go on drives and like going to the beach at night to lay on the sand hearing the water until I get too cold.
I think I included way more than you needed but I'd love to hear who you'd pick and why :> 🖤

such a noble cause that you work for! and you picked a key word, because harley is deeply attracted in every sense of the word to passion. doesn't matter what it is, if you're truly passionate about it she'll follow suit
heritage and culture is so important to harley too, and her jewish heritage is often overlooked, so she understand the connection and trying to maintain it or even strengthen it. she'd be so keen to share in someone else's culture and maybe even share hers with them
harley is a trained psychologist. she's a doctor. she has a degree. so any mental health issues she's so keen to try and help, without crossing any boundaries of course. she just wants the best for the people she loves and it's in her nature to try and talk through problems and find ways to fix things or make them hurt less
i frequently headcanon harley as someone who loves drawing as a way of relaxing or as an outlet, and i think she would employ a lot of art psychotherapy tactics. most of all, sitting with you and doodling while you draw and chat about your day would make her so happy
she gets hard work. first of all, it's not easy to study to become a psycholgist. second of all, it's not easy to work in one of the more intense asylums. and third of all, wielding a hammer while looking sexy is a herculean task believe it or not. but hey, if you hate capitalism, why not join her in villainy! or better yet, leave the crime to her and you can stay at home doing nothing all day, let her spoil you!
you would get sleep with harley around. she wouldn't be above bonking you on the head to make sure you're well-rested. 4-5 hours isn't enough, she insists on it. by that point she's only just starting to feel like she's spent enough time stroking your arm and watching you snooze, she needs at least another 2 hours on top of that.
true crime and horror are such harley vibes. she seems like she would love a horror movie marathon. the gorier the better for her though, and with some amazing kill scenes! and let's be honest, some 70s horror films have amazing death scenes in them so she can get on board with that
harley has a fair few tattoos, but nothing would make her giddier with sheer excitement and love than getting a matching tattoo (or 17) with you!!
i think harley loves dancing. she's a gymnast, it's pretty close in terms of movement. she probably has immense skills, albeit untrained, in most dance styles. so any kind of music is something she can work with. and karaoke would 100% be up her street, a cheesy love ballad that you can duet on, or the classic "girls just wanna have fun", but screaming it at an insane volume while she laughs with you
it's maybe not the same thing, but harley has harleen riding sidecar with her at all times. it's not always a good thing for her, since they don't share many of the same opinions, but you'd be a good influence on her, and maybe she'd start taking advice from harleen more often

I do social work, and the amount of people who are locked out of societal participation due to lack of a smartphone, lack of internet, a lack of technical know-how, or the digital systems put into place just being so incredibly inefficient that it takes literally weeks to help people sometimes (fuck you, DigiD) is fucking staggering and frustrating.
People are locked out of accessing their MONEY!!! because in my city banks have just wholesale dropped physical offices and the closest office for most banks nowadays is AMSTERDAM. That's 90 minutes away (if you're lucky) by car. Because they have iDEAL, they have online banking on your computer, on your smartphone, why are you still using paper incasso, why are you still using cheques, just use online banking? Just use Tikkie, it's so easy!
I had a man in his late 50s unable to pay his bills anymore, not because he didn't have the finances, but because he couldn't access his account! He didn't have a smartphone. He didn't have a lap- or desktop. He always paid his bills by going into the bank office and handing in his incasso. He couldn't get to Amsterdam because he had no transport there, and he'd have to go there every time he had to pay a bill or make a transfer. And all I could say was, I'm sorry, you're justified in your anger, and I don't agree with the path society is taking here. But that didn't fix his problem, we both knew it, and there was nothing I could do about it.
I've been helping an Arab lady activate her DigiD (digital id management to log in to all government and affiliated instances with) for her three children, and she had to come back three weeks in a row just to get it taken care of, because without a DigiD you can't do anything in this country, and yes, even children (hers are between 4 and 8) have to have it. You have to wait several workdays for a letter to come in the mail with your activation code after you made your account. Then the activation code for her daughter just did not work for whatever reason (apparently that happens), so I had to make a new new account for her daughter so we could activate that, meaning she'd have to wait several more workdays.
I'm a volunteer. I only do that work on Thursday mornings, and it's not even my job to do that. I do it because my colleagues who do get paid to do it are busy doing that shit for other people as well, and I happen to be capable of doing it also. But I have to constantly make jokes and tell her how we're "one step closer" to having this done every week she comes by. And I'm lucky she's a thoughtful, patient, and graceful woman, because I'm frustrated for her.
And then some fuckers think we should just do away with the last few actual physical places that don't complicate people's lives unnecessarily, or wholesale lock them out of living a life? Whether at all or as independent human beings with dignity? Fuck you and fuck off. And that's coming from someone whose life is massively improved by digital environments like that. Improving the quality of life of some people should never come at the cost of ruining that of others, because that's the whole basic tenet of ableism in society, deciding some people are worth excluding because it makes our lives so much simpler!
Not on my fucking watch.
every time I hear someone say “we should just get rid of physical shops and have everything online” I get a bit angry because
a) physical shops are important for those who don’t have access to a computer/ internet/ ect
b) those “weird” and “niche” shops I love so much don’t have the same vibe online, they turn into just another website
c) I hate paying for shipping

What is an ABHA Card?
In today’s digital age, healthcare is undergoing a significant transformation. One of the most revolutionary initiatives in India’s healthcare sector is the ABHA Card (Ayushman Bharat Health Account). The ABHA Card is a unique health identification system launched under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) by the Government of India. This digital health ID aims to streamline and enhance the healthcare experience for individuals by providing seamless access to medical records, improving doctor-patient interactions, and ensuring better medical services across the country.
Understanding the ABHA Card
The ABHA Card is a 14-digit unique identification number that links an individual's medical history to a single, digital account. This allows for easier access to medical records, doctor consultations, lab reports, prescriptions, and health-related data in a secure and organized manner.
By using the ABHA Card, individuals can seamlessly share their medical history with healthcare providers, eliminating the need for carrying physical documents. This initiative aims to bridge the gap between patients, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and insurance providers by creating a unified digital health ecosystem.
Benefits of an ABHA Card
The ABHA Card offers numerous benefits, making it an essential tool for every Indian citizen:
Easy Access to Medical Records:
The ABHA Card enables users to store and access their medical history digitally.
Doctors can quickly review previous diagnoses, prescriptions, and reports, leading to better treatment decisions.
Seamless Integration with Healthcare Providers:
The ABHA Card connects hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and pharmacies under a single system.
Patients can share their records with healthcare professionals, reducing duplication of tests and paperwork.
Security and Privacy:
The data stored in the ABHA Card system is highly secure and only accessible with user consent.
Patients can control who accesses their medical records, ensuring complete privacy.
Portability and Convenience:
Whether you visit a doctor in your hometown or another city, your medical records remain accessible through your ABHA Card.
This eliminates the hassle of carrying physical files or remembering past treatments.
Cost Efficiency:
By reducing redundant medical tests and paperwork, the ABHA Card helps patients save time and money.
Insurance and Claim Benefits:
Many health insurance providers are integrating with the ABHA Card, allowing for a smoother claim process.
Medical expenses and policy details can be linked for hassle-free reimbursements.
How to Apply for an ABHA Card?
Getting an ABHA Card is simple and can be done online. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Visit the Official Website:
Go to the official ABHA Card registration page.
Select Your Identification Method:
You can register using your Aadhaar number or driving license.
Provide Basic Information:
Enter your name, date of birth, gender, and other relevant details.
Verify with OTP:
You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number for verification.
Generate Your ABHA Number:
After verification, you will receive your unique ABHA Card number, which can be used for future medical services.
Download and Use:
Once registered, you can download your ABHA Card and share it with hospitals, clinics, and doctors when needed.
Who Can Apply for an ABHA Card?
Anyone can apply for an ABHA Card, including:
Indian citizens of all age groups.
People who want to maintain a digital record of their health history.
Patients with chronic illnesses who need to track their medical data.
Senior citizens who frequently visit healthcare facilities.
How Does the ABHA Card Work?
The ABHA Card functions as a centralized digital repository for all your medical data. Here’s how it works:
Health Data Storage:
All medical records, prescriptions, and lab reports are stored digitally.
Access Control:
Patients can give access to doctors or hospitals for a specific period.
Interoperability:
The ABHA Card ensures that medical records can be accessed across various healthcare facilities in India.
Consent-Based System:
No doctor or hospital can view or edit your records without your permission.
ABHA Card vs. Ayushman Bharat Yojana
Many people confuse the ABHA Card with the Ayushman Bharat Yojana (PM-JAY). Here’s the key difference:

The Future of Blockchain in India
Tumblr media
Blockchain technology is a major breakthrough in the digital world. While it is best known for supporting cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, its potential goes far beyond just digital money. In India, blockchain is becoming a game-changer in many areas, from finance to government services, healthcare, and more. Let's take a look at how blockchain could shape the future of India.
What is Blockchain?
At its core, blockchain is a way to store information securely across multiple computers, ensuring that the data can’t be tampered with. Each piece of information, or “block,” is linked to the next one in a chain, creating a transparent and tamper-proof record. This makes it a powerful tool for tracking and verifying data in many different industries.
1. Blockchain in Government and Public Services
India’s government has always faced challenges with corruption and inefficiency. Blockchain could help solve some of these problems by offering a transparent and secure way to store data.
Better Transparency and Anti-Corruption: By using blockchain for things like land records and government transactions, India can reduce fraud and corruption. Blockchain can create permanent, tamper-proof records that everyone can trust, making it harder for bad actors to manipulate the system. This could also mean quicker processing times for things like land registrations, taxes, and more.
Digital Identity: India’s Aadhaar system already provides every citizen with a unique ID, but blockchain can make digital identity even safer and more reliable. With blockchain, people can securely access government services, vote, and manage personal information without worrying about fraud.
2. Blockchain in Financial Services and Payments
Blockchain is already changing the financial world, and India is poised to benefit greatly. With over 190 million people still without a bank account, blockchain could be the key to financial inclusion.
Cheaper and Faster Payments: India is one of the largest recipients of remittances, with billions of dollars sent back from Indian workers abroad. Blockchain could make these transactions faster and much cheaper by cutting out middlemen like banks. With blockchain, people can send money across borders with lower fees and greater security.
Decentralized Finance (DeFi): Imagine being able to lend or borrow money without going through a bank. This is what decentralized finance (DeFi) allows. DeFi platforms built on blockchain technology are already gaining popularity globally, and India’s tech-savvy youth can help make these platforms a part of the country’s financial future.
Smart Contracts in Insurance and Payments: Blockchain can also be used for things like smart contracts, which are self-executing agreements that automatically carry out terms once conditions are met. This could make insurance claims faster and more transparent, as well as reduce fraud.
3. Blockchain in Supply Chains and Agriculture
Agriculture is the backbone of India’s economy, but the supply chain for farming products is often inefficient. Blockchain could help make things run smoother and more fairly.
Fairer Prices for Farmers: Farmers in India often face challenges like fluctuating prices and middlemen taking a cut of their earnings. With blockchain, farmers can track the journey of their crops from farm to market. This helps ensure that prices are fair and that products are not being sold at inflated rates. It also ensures that the food is safe and that consumers know where it came from.
Better Quality Assurance: Blockchain can also help verify the quality of agricultural products. Consumers could scan a QR code on a product to see where it came from, how it was grown, and whether it meets safety standards.
4. Blockchain in Healthcare
The healthcare system in India faces issues like data privacy concerns, fraud, and inefficiencies. Blockchain could be the solution to many of these problems.
Secure Patient Data: Patient data is often stored in different places, which can lead to errors and privacy concerns. Blockchain can securely store medical records and ensure they are only accessible to authorized parties. This would allow for better, more efficient healthcare, with less risk of data breaches.
Tracking Pharmaceuticals: Blockchain can also be used to track the journey of medicines, ensuring that patients get genuine drugs and not counterfeit ones. This can greatly reduce the risk of fake medicines entering the market and improve the overall safety of healthcare.
5. Blockchain in Education and Skill Development
India has a young, tech-savvy population, and blockchain could play a big role in the future of education and skill development.
Verifiable Education Records: Blockchain can help create a system where educational qualifications are securely stored and easily verified. This would prevent fraudulent degrees and certificates and make it easier for employers to trust the qualifications of potential employees.
Training the Next Generation: As the demand for blockchain professionals grows, India’s universities and online learning platforms are offering more courses on blockchain and related fields. This means that the next generation of workers will be well-prepared to take on jobs in this rapidly growing industry.
6. Challenges India Faces with Blockchain
While blockchain offers huge potential, there are some challenges India must overcome before it can fully take advantage of this technology.
Lack of Regulation: One of the biggest challenges is the lack of clear regulations around blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The government needs to create a clear legal framework to help businesses and individuals use blockchain safely and effectively.
Awareness and Education: Although blockchain has immense potential, many people in India still don’t fully understand how it works. Increasing awareness and education around blockchain will be key to ensuring its success.
Infrastructure and Scalability: Blockchain networks need to be able to handle a large number of transactions at once. In a country as large and diverse as India, ensuring that blockchain systems can scale to meet the needs of millions of people will be crucial.
Bright Future for Blockchain in India
India’s future with blockchain looks incredibly promising. From making government services more efficient to improving healthcare, supply chains, and finance, blockchain has the power to transform nearly every industry. The country’s growing interest in blockchain, coupled with its young, tech-savvy population, means that India is well-positioned to lead in this space.
However, India must first tackle the challenges of regulation, awareness, and infrastructure to fully unlock blockchain’s potential. With the right support and development, blockchain could play a key role in building a more secure, transparent, and efficient India for the future.

(Image ID: text reading "the sun is a deadly lazer" from a video by Bill Wurtz. End ID)
For the non-Aussies among us: remember to SLIP SLOP SLAP SEEK SLIDE! This is an Australian government campaign that has worked on me and I am fine with that because it is HELPFUL!
Tumblr media
(Image ID: a poster with the heading "Be SunSmart". It reads: Here are 5 simple ways to best protect your skin from harmful UV rays when outdoors.
Slip on covering clothing. Cover as much skin as possible. For best protection, choose: Shirts with high collars or high necks, and sleeves; Trousers or longer shorts and skirts that come to below the knees.
Slop on sunscreen. Use SPF 30 (or higher) broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen. Reapply sunscreen every two hours.
Slap on a hat. Wear a broad-brimmed hat or one that covers your head, face, neck, and ears.
Seek shade. Use trees, built shade structures, or bring your own!
Slide on some sunglasses. Sunglasses should be close fitting and worn outside during daylight hours.
End ID.)
My notes:
Light clothing reflects sunlight best, and will keep you cooler! Bonus if it's natural fibres such as linen and cotton, as they breathe better. Loose-fitting but well-covering skirts, sleeves, and pant legs will also keep you cooler—think traditional clothing in Middle Eastern countries. It tends to be long, loose, and pale. It's tried and true!
Remember to let sunscreen have time to soak in (~15 minutes is the ideal, but I'm not certain), and remove wristwatches, wide jewellery, or anything else that might get in the way of properly applying the sunscreen. If you don't like the smell of normal sunscreen, there are alternatives that don't smell as strong (usually marketed towards kids). Sunscreen is bloody important, don't let it fall to the wayside. Remember to get your face and the back of your neck, hands, and legs.
And remember to get polarised sunglasses. Sunglasses that aren't polarised are more likely to hurt your eyes—if they tint your vision darker, then your pupils will expand, but non-polarised sunnies won't protect your eyes from UV rays, thus making things worse in the long run. You can tell if sunnies are polarised if, when you look at a digital screen and tilt your head sideways, it goes significantly darker or black. Here's a list of ways to tell that I found, actually:
Tumblr media
(Image ID: Poster titled "How to tell if your sunglasses are polarised". It reads:
Check for a test sticker. If your sunglasses are new, look at the test tag or sticker through the lens, and rotate the lens to a 60º angle. If the tag gets darker, then you know your glasses are polarised.
Find a reflective surface. Hold your glasses so that you are viewing the surface through one of the lenses. Then, rotate the glasses to a 60º angle, and see if the glare gets better or worse. If the sunglasses are polarised, the glare will diminish.
Compare two pairs. Look through two pairs of sunglasses at the same time, and rotate one pair 60º to the other. If both pairs are polarised, the overlapping lenses will become darker. If this doesn't happen, at least one pair is not polarised.
Turn on a computer. Polarised lenses and most computer screens use the same anti-glare technology. Look through your lenses at the screen, and rotate your glasses to a 60º angle. If they're polarised, the lenses will turn black.
Assess your view. Use the polarised lens simulator below to see what your view should look like. If your lenses are polarised, glare disappears, colours brighten, and visibility becomes crystal clear.
End ID)
OH ALSO. If you have darker skin or don't burn, you still need to stay sun safe!! You might not burn easily or at all, but that doesn't mean you aren't getting UV rays. Melanin will not protect you from skin cancer.
N.B.: The clothing tips are for hot + dry environments. YMMV in humid areas.
N.B. the second: You're being exposed to UV rays regardless of if it's warm or not. You can get sunburned in winter (though you're less likely to, because you tend to be wearing more clothes). It's best practice to stay out of the sun even if it's cold or cloudy.
be pro-aging but wear sun screen. sun protection is not beauty industry propaganda it will save you. wear it. or else.

Unlocking the Digital Economy: The Surprising Security Risks You Can’t Ignore!
The digital economy has revolutionized the way we live, work, and interact with each other. It has brought about unprecedented opportunities for innovation, growth, and prosperity. However, with these opportunities come new challenges and risks.
The digital economy is under constant threat from cybercriminals, hackers, and other malicious actors who seek to exploit vulnerabilities in our digital infrastructure. The need for digital security has never been more urgent. In this article, its an endeavour to bring out the importance of digital security in today’s economy and why it is essential to safeguard our digital assets.
Tumblr media
Lets try to investigate also, latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital security and provide actionable insights that can help us secure our digital future. Let try discovering as to how we can protect the digital economy and ensure a safe and secure digital transformation for all.India has seen a significant boom in the digital economy in recent years. The Digital India initiative has played a key role in this growth. The initiative aims to provide digital infrastructure to every citizen of India and has been successful in increasing the number of internet users in the country. The digital platform infrastructure has enabled businesses to reach a wider audience and has created new opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). According to Nandan Nilekani, an Indian entrepreneur, co founder Infosys. India is moving from an offline, informal, low productivity, multiple set of micro-economies to a single online, formal, high-productivity mega economy with the help of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The DPI approach includes frameworks such as the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), Open Credit Enablement Network (OCEN), and the National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR), which are unlocking new opportunities for businesses and individuals alike.
Nilekani believes that this transformation will continue over the next 20 years and will create tremendous economic value and empowerment of citizens as new digital applications permeate sector after sector .
As per the Indian 2011 census, there is only 36 %chance that two Indians selected at random could even talk to each other. As we as Indians have a huge variations in culture, markets, industrialization and regulations. But today in the year 2024 we have most closely micro economies, electronic registering and digital IDs through Aadhaar, a unique lifetime identity. In these eight years of period India became the worlds highest volume of digital payments.
India’s digital economy has grown 2.4 times faster than the Indian economy, with strong forward linkages to non-digital sectors. India’s digital consumer base is the second largest in the world and growing at the second-fastest rate amongst major economies. India’s inclusive digital model is narrowing the digital divide within the country and bringing benefits of technology to all segments of people. In times of crisis, DPIs elevate from an efficient “good-to have” to a necessary” must-have” like bringing in the real time observability to vaccine inventory visibility.
DPIs help strengthen a country’s public finances through strengthening tax revenue or increased financial transparency through linking of Public Financial Management System (PFMS) with Aadhaar. But then what are the challenges even if I can be enabling targeted-welfare spends through Aadhaar-like identity program or reduced risk and increase in the supply of credit to MSMEs and the public. Countries with many DPIS are best suited to adopt, spread as well as regulate the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in service of their people.
As the digital realm continues to evolve, and with the sharing DPIs, this can be unleashed as powerful DIGITAL capital. In such scenarios, India’s cyber insurance market has emerged as a domain of strategic importance and robust growth. The significant rise in cyber awareness, compelling companies, businesses, and individuals to rely heavily on digital solutions for daily operations. However, this has also led to increased incidences of cybercrimes, targeting vulnerable group.
Therefore, certainly! Securing the digital economy is a crucial aspect of the modern world.
Challenges For the Digital Economy
As per the various surveys, it reveals that securing the digital economy is a complex and evolving challenge. According to the World Economic Forum, two key challenges for the digital economy are cybersecurity and privacy.
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) has identified the following challenges: cybersecurity, data privacy, digital inclusion, and digital skills development. In Southeast Asia, the digital economy has brought about opportunities for innovation and growth, but also poses challenges such as cybersecurity, data privacy, and human and physical capital development.

With the rise of digital payments in India, there has been a significant increase in the number of frauds perpetrated by exploiting digital payment systems and human vulnerabilities. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reported that the volume of frauds reported by financial institutions (FIs) using cards and internet banking was 34% higher in 2021-22 than in 2019-20. During 2022 23, public sector banks reported 3,405 frauds involving Rs 21,125 crore, while private banks reported 8,932 cases involving Rs 8,727 crore.
The rest were from foreign banks, financial institutions, small finance banks, and payment banks. Frauds occurred predominantly in the category of digital payments (card/internet), in terms of number, said Reserve Bank’s Annual Report 2022-23.
The dark web is a part of the internet that is not indexed by search engines and is often used for illegal activities. The changing nature of fraud and increase in fraudulent activities can be attributed to the major factors like : –
Diversified entry points. Businesses in India have been digitizing across their value chains at breakneck speeds. This increases the scope of opportunities for fraudsters and offers them a wider attack surface for exploitation. The common entry points include social media, e commerce, or services like retail transactions, rideshares and lodging.
Vulnerabilities in the new payment technologies. Personal data of customers is made available on the dark web, enabling fraudsters to carry out this type of fraud.
In this year, AI would help cybercriminals manipulate social media and shape public opinion like never before. Bad actors would deploy AI tools to fabricate photos, videos, and audios and lodge on social media.
As a CISO, it is important to be aware of the current cybersecurity landscape in India. According to a survey conducted by India’s print media, India’s digital footprint has made it an alluring target for cybercriminals seeking to exploit vulnerabilities. Cybersecurity providers have warned that data breaches would skyrocket in 2024, and there would be continued acceleration in ransomware activities in addition to a surge in identity-based attacks resulting from increasing cloud adoption. Deepfakes would also pose a looming threat to the country’s cybersecurity this year.
As organizations migrate their data, applications, and workloads to the cloud, the attack surface widens, providing a broader canvas for threat actors to exploit. Organizations may also have less visibility and control over cloud resources than in on-premises environments, which could make it difficult to detect intrusions and prevent unauthorized access.
Importance of Digital Security in Today’s Economy Safeguard Digital Assets.
Digital security is a critical aspect of today’s economy, and it is essential to safeguard our digital assets. The rise of the digital economy has brought about unprecedented opportunities for innovation, growth, and prosperity. However, with these opportunities come new challenges and risks. The digital economy is under constant threat from cybercriminals, hackers, and other malicious actors who seek to exploit vulnerabilities in our digital infrastructure. The need for digital security has never been more urgent. Companies and governments alike must take proactive measures to secure their digital assets. By embracing digital security, we can ensure a safe and secure digital transformation for all, fostering trust in the digital economy and enabling sustainable economic growth.
As a CISO, it is important to stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies. This includes keeping up with the latest threats and vulnerabilities, as well as understanding the best practices for securing digital assets. It is also important to have a strong disaster recovery plan in place in case of a cyber attack.
To secure the digital economy, it is important to have a robust cybersecurity framework in place. This may need measures such as encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection system, and access controls to be mandatorily be included. It is also important to have a disaster recovery plan in place in case of a cyber attack. By taking few of the industry proven steps, businesses can ensure that they are well-protected in the digital age.
To combat these frauds, payment service providers have been providing an enhanced seamless user experience at competitive prices, promoting wider adoption of digital payments. Users have multiple options for digital payments such as cards, wallets, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), mobile banking, QR code and various other methods . UPI has contributed significantly to the growth of digital transactions in India.
In the vast and intricate landscape of the internet, the Dark Web stands as a shadowy realm that has captured the imagination of both cyber enthusiasts and those concerned about online security. This hidden corner of the web is notorious for being a hub of illicit activities, from drug trafficking and hacking services to stolen data markets and more.
The Dark Web is a portion of the internet intentionally hidden from search engines and casual users. It is only accessible through specific software, such as Tor (The Onion Router), which anonymizes users and their activities. Unlike the Surface Web, which includes websites indexed by search engines, and the Deep Web, which comprises unindexed web pages (e.g., databases, password-protected content), the Dark Web is designed to be deliberately concealed.
The Dark Web is, in essence, a subset of the Deep Web, but what sets it apart is the intent to hide content and activities. This intentionality has made it a haven for those seeking anonymity, whether for legitimate purposes like whistleblowing or nefarious activities like illegal trade.
Cybercriminals use the dark web as their base of operations to carry out illegal activities, sell stolen data, and launch cyber-attacks on businesses. It is a growing concern for enterprises, as they face increasingly sophisticated cyber threats every day.
The Dark Web poses significant threats to both individuals and organizations in terms of Identity Theft, Financial Fraud, Corporate Espionage, Reputational Damage and also creating Law Enforcement Challenges.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023 (“DPDP Bill”). In the era of digitisation, data protection must be balanced with the right equation of fraud detection associated with data. Businesses must be well-equipped to combat the threats of data breaches and ensure their customer’s data is not at risk. The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023 (“DPDP Bill”) marks the onset of a new data protection regime in India, the bill is ready to set a benchmark amongst similar legal frameworks, globally.
To protect the enterprise from the dark web, cybersecurity professionals must sharpen their skills, invest in advanced security technologies, and implement effective security policies.
To ensure digital payment security, it is important to follow the best practices recommended by the payment service providers. There will be few basic steps which we all might have to adhere to, like :
–Use strong passwords and change them frequently.
– Avoid using public Wi-Fi networks for making digital payments.
– Keep your device’s operating system and applications up-to-date.
– Do not share your personal information, such as passwords, PINs, or OTPs, with anyone.
– Check your bank statements regularly to detect any unauthorized transactions.
– Integrated platforms can consolidate numerous point products into a single purpose-built solution. The consolidation of endpoint, server, and cloud security and workload protection allows you to protect your ecosystem, providing more visibility and simplifying operations
– Educate Your Employees as they are often the first point of contact with cybercriminals, who use social engineering tactics to gain access to your network. Provide awareness training that teaches them to recognize suspicious and fraudulent messages, be careful about the information they share online, and verify any requests for sensitive data.
Implement Effective Security Policies and enterprises should establish a comprehensive disaster recovery plan to ensure they can recover their systems and data quickly in case of a successful cyber-attack. To summarize and to address these challenges, CISOs should consider implementing the following measures:
Conducting regular security assessments. Regular security assessments can help identify vulnerabilities and provide insights into the effectiveness of existing security measures.
Implementing multi-factor authentication. Multi-factor authentication can help prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data and systems.
Establishing a security awareness program. A security awareness program can help educate employees on the importance of cybersecurity and how to identify and report potential security threats.
Implementing a data backup and recovery plan. A data backup and recovery plan can help ensure that critical data is not lost in the event of a security breach.
Partnering with a trusted cybersecurity provider. Partnering with a trusted cybersecurity provider can help organizations stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and implement effective security measures.
By implementing these measures, CISOs can help protect their organizations from the growing threat of cyberattacks and ensure the safety of their data and systems.
Conclusion
“As AI continues to lower the barrier to cybercrime and ushers in a new era of AI-powered cyberthreats, scams will become more sophisticated and more difficult to distinguish from legitimate messages and sites. Even experts will have trouble telling fact from fiction to deepfakes that could impact everything including the future of our children, and beyond,”.
Digital security is no longer an option, but a necessity in today’s economy. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the risks and threats to our digital infrastructure, services, and data have grown exponentially. The rise of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things has fundamentally altered the way we use software and data, making software’s attack surfaces more complicated and software itself more vulnerable. The importance of digital security cannot be overstated, and it is imperative that companies and governments alike take proactive measures to secure their digital assets. By embracing digital security, we can ensure a safe and secure digital transformation for all, fostering trust in the digital economy and enabling sustainable economic growth.
To safeguard our digital assets, we must adopt a comprehensive approach to digital security. This approach should include measures such as implementing robust cybersecurity protocols, conducting regular security audits, and investing in employee training and awareness programs. We must also leverage the latest technologies and best practices in digital security to stay ahead of emerging threats. By taking these steps, we can protect our digital assets and ensure a safe and secure digital future for all.
