Ayo, someone by the name of Curly-B-Blog is redlining art of yours from 2020 (while pretending that it's actually Sai Scribble's work), and kind of being a dick about it. just thought you should know.
You know, originally I was just gonna brush it off, but then I went back to look at my old SU art from 2020 and did so much self reflection from then till now.
I think this was around the time I was just learning how to do perspective and tried to use the perspective tool on Procreate for the first time? :0 and I remember telling Sai “Sai I have this STUPID idea, I CANT believe it this stupid joke it’s so DUMBBBB, it’s living rent free in my BRAIN I SWEAR THIS IS GONNA BE SO STUPID DCIUWHEFIUWHIRFUIW4F” and being super excited to show her the finished product. People still think Sai created the Cursed Skin Gloves comic and I think it’s hilarious wjhwnuhwijwuiw
Tumblr media
The comic was received very well and it made LOTS of people laugh and I’m still proud of this comic to this very day! :D and tbh if it wasn’t for my obsession for Sai’s Switcheroo AU I never would have found my passion in comic work! (love you you stinky hoe @saiscribbles 🩷)
Tumblr media
HOWEVER…. I definitely still had lots to learn! I wasn’t very good at perspective at the time I’ll admit, but I was definitely having lots of fun learning :3
And throughout the past 4 years, ALOT has happened.
I graduated from college with TWO fancy pieces of expensive papers in Visual Development in Animation and Illustration learning from Will Kim and Jeff Soto, and as a I was working with the funny voice man Cougar MacDowall as a comic/story artist and reached in total around 7 million views for my fan series FNAF Security Malware Breached (it was even #21 on the trending list around the time of my birthday 🩷 what a lovely gift), had an insane opportunity to work with Mike Geno and with the voice cast from The Amazing Digital Circus for a fan song as a background and character asset artist, Vivienne Medrano liking and sharing my silly Overlord Husk AU comics, currently on my route to getting my certificate from Aaron Blaise’s Character design program and graduating from Marc Brunet Art School, and now I am completing my first year as professional colorist and art assistant for my storyboard and comic mentor Michelle Lam, aka Mewtripled! (Also I’ll be heading out to Lightbox Expo 2024 on October 26 with Michelle and the team so if y’all ever wanna meetup hahahajaj wink wink wink wink wink)
So you can say I learned ALOT and I enjoyed every minute of what I do :D I try to be humble about my accomplishments because blah blah being humble good yes yes but this time I wanna be selfish and say HELL YEAH I DID ALL THIS!!! AND IM SO EXTREMELY PROUD OF MYSELF FIUGEIURGERGGRS
Now here’s my most recent comic page that I posted like 2 days ago without the text.
Tumblr media
That’s pretty freakin wild to me, I can’t believe I used to draw Steven Universe art like that back in 2020 LOL LIKE GUYS I DREW THIS!! WITH!!! MY HANDS!!! IS THAT NOT INSANE!!!???
Anyways moral of the story:
Learn from everyone and everything! Yes, even then mean ones too! If you can learn to work with anyone, I promise you’ll get to where you want to be faster. People can be a little mean on the internet, but that shouldn’t stop you from being where you want to be in the future. I’m so EXTREMELY grateful for all the opportunities and to all the kind professionals who were willing to give me a chance. Seriously, I’m so graciously thankful for everything, and I hope everyone here will support me and my silly little comics I will do now and in the future!
And one more thing:
Don’t be a jerk. Be to be nice to everyone :D nothing good comes out when you’re bad to everyone.

We Are Not the Kissing Space Twins (part 2)
Fic by lunaraindrop
Well, you asked for it! Let's find out about Steve's secret twin!
The red numbers mocked her as her digital clock blinked over to 4:27 pm.
Robin's nerves were frazzled like the feather on her band uniform.
Tonight was supposed to be a fun night! Vickie had asked her last week if she wanted to come over to her house and have a movie marathon...and a sleepover. Of course she jumped at the chance! (Steve had said, excitedly and with way too many winks that Vickie was putting the moves on her.)
Robin had not known if it was a "friend movie marathon" or a "i-like-you-makeout movie marathon", but she had prepared for both.
But then Vickie called her earlier that afternoon to postpone. Apparently, her entire family got a stomach bug, and their house was a cesspool for germs.
Bummed, Robin tried to think of something else to do.
Hanging with Steve was out. His parents decided to grace him with their *lovely* presence after four months away on "business." They insisted on having a "family dinner." Steve always gets ultra stressed when he has to do the staunchy dinners in The Harrington Dining Room with the real silver, cloth napkins, and the Fine China that cost probably as much as his car. Telling him that her "maybe date" was off was just going to disappoint him too.
Eddie wasn't going to be any fun, either. All Eddie would do would be pine over Steve, try to sneak in a smoke, and eat whipped cream out of a can.
Nancy was spending the day with Jonathan. The kids made sure they all had things to do because Steve couldn't take them anywhere.
Then she had what she thought was a great idea. She could get her learner's permit! She had studied the written test bookelett front to back, as well as gone over all the driving rules and tricks with Steve and Eddie.
She wasn't working that day, and she was completely free. Perfect timing! All she had to do was get her birth certificate.
Which...proved to be harder than she thought.
Robin paced her bedroom, probably wearing a path in the carpet.
She never caught on that her parents were reluctant to give her her birth certificate. When she would suggest getting her permit or license, they would talk about how they couldn't afford to have her driving. A car and insurance cost a lot of money. Then they would guilt trip her into not driving at all with fears of her getting into an accident. She never knew her name, but that was how she was told her bio mom died.
She would always let it go when they talked about the "angel that gave them their precious baby girl."
But she knew now that they were hiding something from her!
When she pressed until they gave in, she saw what on her birth certificate. She felt so betrayed! How could they lie to her like that?
The taunting clock on her nightstand changed to 4:30. The DMV was now closed. Not that it even mattered!
She couldn't take it anymore! Robin picked up the phone.
"Hey, Nancy? I hate to ask, but could you and Jonathan come pick me up? I really need a friend right now."
---
In the Byers-Hopper living room, Nancy blinked up at Robin. "So, you are actually a year *older* than you thought you were?"
Robin threw her hand in the air. "Yes! And they didn't tell me! Evidently, it wasn't just that I took longer than the rest of the babies to walk! Oh no, I was in the NICU for *months*! I was so far behind in my milestones that my parents decided to just tell me I was a year younger and enroll me in school a year later than everyone else!"
Jonathan dodged a flailing arm and handed Robin a cup of tea. "Here, sit down and drink this. It's my mom's chamomile. I think you need it."
Taking a breath, Robin nodded her thanks and took a sip. Then made a face. "This tastes like laundry detergent and bourbon."
Jonathan shrugged with a small smirk. "I said it's my mom's."
Nancy went into investigation mode. "Okay, so your parents adopted you three days after you were born. Closed adoption. Your biological mother died, and no information about your biological fatherm. Instead of 1968, you were adopted in 1967."
Carefully putting the mug down on a magazine on the table, Robin ran her fingers through her hair. "Me being adopted is old news, Nancy. I've known I was my parents 'miracle baby' since I was able to walk...which I don't know when that is now! Was it *actually* six months after most kids, or *a year and six months* after most kids?!?"
Nancy waved her hand to cut Robin off. "Robin! I understand. I'm just trying to understand how nobody knew this information."
Jonathan raised an eyebrow. "About Robin being adopted?"
Nancy sighed. "No, about how Robin could go through the whole school system and sign government NDA's without getting flagged that her birthday was wrong. I'm wondering if her adoption records say something else."
She got up to grab a notepad and started scribbling. "The information given to the Buckley's, if they can believed- sorry Robin- is that the adoption was a closed adoption. Having records sealed makes sense, but not a closed adoption. There was no father, according to Robin's parents. Just her biological mother. Who died in a car accident. So...who made sure it was a closed adoption? Who isn't supposed to be contacted? Does that have anything to do with the year change?"
Jonathan got up and pulled out his wallet. "Robin, you've never had a physical ID, right?" He showed off his own driver's license with his awful bowl cut hair picture.
"No. I haven't even had a permit yet. At nineteen! I'm so far behind!"
Jonathan nodded and looked to Nancy to continue. When she nodded back, he handed Robin his license. "If you've never had an ID, the only time you would see your birthday written anywhere would either be at school or by your parents." He turned to Nancy. "If her school records say she was born in 1967, then they knew she was a year older, but didn’t say anything... If they filled out her forms saying 1968, then they lied to the Roane County Board of Education, and they didn't check her birth certificate."
Nancy pointed a pencil at Robin. "You might have accidentally uncovered a hidden adoption scheme in Hawkins."
Robin flexed her fingers. "That's nice, you guys. Really nice. I may be a part of some big adoption conspiracy. But the fact remains, I'm a year older than I ever thought I was, and my parents lied to me about it."
Nancy and Jonathan both flinched.
Right. Comfort Robin now, investigate later.
Nancy walked over and stilitingly pat Robin’s shoulder. She wracked her brain for something to cheer the woman up.
"Well, you and Steve can actually pretend to be twins, now! Your birthdays are now only three days apart!

The Easy Way
cw: institutionalized violence, abuse of authority, torture, interrogation, vague threats of noncon, forced to strip (referenced)
an Asbury POV drabble for @paperprinxe
÷÷÷
He almost feels sorry for number 3844.
No family, no friends. From a planet so backwater he doesn't even have a birth certificate on record. Scars and tattoos put on display by the strip search, marks of a lifetime of gang violence.
Part of Asbury knows it's no small wonder the boy joined the Riot Kings. What else could he do with the hand life had dealt him? But he still joined the Riot Kings, and that does tend to put one at odds with the Fleet.
Asbury watches ‘44 squirm in his chair through one-way glass. Name, age, and hometown are all in bold at the top of the file he was handed when he stepped through the door, but he let them slip through his mind at the earliest convenience. Right now, the prisoner doesn't need a name. He's just a number, just a suspect. Two simultaneous detonations at the Imhotep Healthcare Directory yesterday, and Mainfleet wants someone booked for it. Maybe ‘44 did it. Maybe he didn't. Either way, Asbury will get his confession.
The interrogation room is kept at a cool fifty-three degrees. 3844 is stripped to his boxers, ankles chained to the ground to keep him from curling his legs to his chest. All by design, of course. It's only when the suspect is openly shivering that Asbury opens the door and takes a seat across from him, a thick jacket zipped up to his throat and a smile on his face.
“Sorry to keep you waiting.”
‘44 doesn't reply. Typical song and dance. All the Riot Kings think they're tough shit, but he's had the majority of his intakes in tears by five o’clock. ‘44 won't be any different.
“I'm sure you know why you're here. Big explosion. Property damage, civilian casualties, all sorts of bad things, and you're our number one suspect.” He taps a few buttons on the side of the table, and a digital form appears in front of ‘44. “Mainfleet thinks you did it. I can't say I disagree. So I'll give you a chance to take the easy way out. Sign a confession, accept your sentence, done.” Asbury slips a stylo from his sleeve, rolling it across the table to where ‘44 is hunched, eyes locked on the confession form. The line for his name, the box for his thumbprint.
“Come on, it isn't difficult.” He folds his arms, leaning back to watch him. “One quick signature and this will all be over.”
‘44 doesn't seem to want it to be over. They never do. They never know what's coming. Asbury doesn't miss the way his eyes trail from the stylo to the document, perhaps considering. But then his stare locks onto a spot directly in front of him, and Asbury knows a choice has been made.
Maybe he thinks there's not enough evidence. Maybe it's just pride, rearing its head for one last hurrah. But there's a reason there's no cameras in the interrogation room. There's a reason they don't snap an intake photo until after initial questioning's complete.
‘44 tenses as Asbury comes up behind him, chains rattling as his hands try to raise and shield his head. Unfortunately for him, there isn't nearly enough length for that. The suspect's head bounces off the table as Asbury slams it forward, nose cracking on impact. He lets out a startled gasp of pain, the loudest sound he's heard '44 make so far.
He always gives them a chance to do this the easy way.
Asbury palms the back of the suspect's head, slowly forcing it onto the table, shoulder over wrist until the full weight of his torso is keeping him down. He gently rocks his skull back and forth, all pressure on that broken nose as ‘44 shrieks.
It's rare a suspect takes his offer. A Riot King certainly never has, so he isn't surprised. Just a little disappointed at the repeat mistake.
‘44 lets out a whine as he pinches a piercing between his thumb and forefinger, stud pulling at the cartilage of his ear. Asbury uses the leverage to steer him, repositioning his head so his cheek is pressing into the table, face smeared red.
It doesn't take a confession to book a Riot King, but it's the most surefire way to keep them locked up. One more criminal off the streets, one less danger to the public. Even if it's likely ‘44 is the perpetrator, it doesn't matter if he is or not. He would've done something similar eventually. They all do.
“I told you to take the easy way out,” he says, still pinching ‘44’s ear to keep him still. “Of course, it isn't too late.” He releases the suspect, taking a step back. “I'm just as willing to keep this going as I am to take an early lunch. Really, that's all up to you.”
“Fuck you,” ‘44 mumbles. Ah, look at that. Finally talking. Asbury shrugs off the expletive, once again more disappointed than surprised. Time and time again, the Riot Kings have proven they'd rather suffer needlessly than cooperate. But what else should he expect from a group of misguided punks?
“Alright, I see you want to keep going.” He kneels beside him. “Are you right or left handed?”
No response. He sighs exaggeratedly.
“I'll take a guess then.”
There's about an inch of slack between the metal leg of the chair and the wristcuff; nowhere near enough to enable ‘44’s struggles, but he still does his damnedest as Asbury catches a bony finger and snaps it, wincing as ‘44 lets out a deafening scream right next to his head.
He really needs to start wearing earplugs, or his tinnitus is going to keep getting worse.
Breaking every finger would be overkill, so Asbury stops after the index and the pointer. If ‘44 remains stubborn, he'll dislocate the left thumb next, but he'd prefer not to stack on any more injuries than necessary for something as simple as a confession.
When he stands, ‘44 is slumped against the table, taking heaving, pain-pitched breaths through his mouth.
“I hope you weren't left-handed,” Asbury says, eyeing the stylo. “But even if you are, as of right now, you have a set of fingers that are still good to go. As of right now.” He leans on the table, eyes fixated on ‘44’s blood-smeared face.
“Unfortunately, you may not have the privilege of using your remaining set for very much longer. See, I'm here to entice you to sign a paper, and if you have two broken hands, you can't do that. And if you can't sign a paper…” He shrugs. “Well, there's no point in me being here, is there?”
‘44’s eyes are wide as he stares up at Asbury. There's fear there now, he notes with satisfaction. Exactly what he needs to get this ball rolling.
“Without a signed confession, we'll have to proceed the old-fashioned way,” he continues. “Gathering evidence, building a case, prosecuting. Consumes time and resources. And that whole time, you'll be in a holding cell. Not the end of the world, the guards will make sure you're fed, but some of them will also be looking for… company.” He shrugs. “And you'll have two broken hands.”
The suspect's eyes widen a fraction, breaths hissing through clenched teeth as Asbury leans on the table beside him, hips just about level with ‘44’s face.
“And sure, eventually the investigation team will find what they're after. One way or another, you'll be going to Phaestus.” He feels the suspect flinch as he reaches down to brush his thumb across his cheekbone.
“All it really boils down to is how long you'd like to spend in that holding cell.”
÷÷÷
Maybe ‘44 was left-handed after all.
The name that winds up scrawled at the bottom of the page is a scribbling mess. Then again, that could just be his handwriting. The Riot Kings aren't exactly known for being educated.
‘44 looks defeated when the guards come in to drag him away, and Asbury swears he can see tears shining at the corners of his eyes. A part of him wishes he could snap a picture of this moment, show today's rebel youth what happens when you join up with terrorists, but that isn't his job, is it?
He leaves the puddle of blood and spit on the table for the cleaners.
Beside it, right where the digital form had glowed, sits a bloodied stylo and a thumbprint in perfect scarlet.

Hey, I've been reading through your posts about how tourism and digital nomads and expats are gentrifying all kinds of cities and places in Spain and price out the locals and don't respect the culture and only put money in the hands of the wealthy.
I completely understand where you are coming from and what you're saying makes a lot of sense, but as an extranjero who wants to visit Spain, what are some things we can do to support the locals and also celebrate your culture while visiting?
Kaixo anon! Thanks for your message ^_^
I know that we all travel on a budget and are very much used to low costs in everything, and many of the suggestions I'm gonna write are quite more expensive than maybe other alternatives. This is another issue: affording ethical tourism is a privilege not many visitors have.
avoid big hotel chains and AirBnB. Instead, choose little, family-owned hotels. They usually are in villages not far from the big touristy town and also provide a calm space out of the noisy crowd.
avoid restaurant chains and fancy ones, since 99% of the times they're owned by a board of investors. Run away from those with menus displayed on blackboards written in English, they're usually unauthentic tourist traps with poor quality food. Instead, choose family restaurants offering homemade, real Spanish food. There are maaany of these, and they're a terrific experience.
if you're willing to buy some groceries, avoid supermarkets. Choose any good-looking fruit shop, or butcher's, or fishmonger's. Go to local markets and buy local produce.
if you're moving around, use public transportation or a bike. Avoid renting a car or boat and polluting our hometown and seas. If you're moving between towns, choose the train if possible instead of booking a flight.
And regarding the celebration part, some simple pieces of advice:
unless you're Latin or Mediterranean-looking, you're gonna be spotted as a guiri at first sight. You can do nothing to stop being a guiri, but don't behave like one. Since you're an easy target, be especially wary with your belongings and with people that suddenly approach you, they might be thieves. Don't walk with your map in hand 24/7. Leave your valuables at home or at your accomodation. Don't think Spain is your playground where local law doesn't apply to you because you're spending your money there. Behave like you would normally do at home.
many foreigners don't understand Spanish service. Waiters and waitresses won't be all smiles, sweet as candy, asking you non-stop how everything's going. That doesn't mean they're being rude to you and want you out, it's just a different culture: their job is to take your order, get your food, and give you the bill when asked for it. That's all the interaction you'll get. If you need more drinks or bread, you'll just have to politely attract their attention and they will help with your needs.
flow with Spanish schedule. Many tourists are entitled enough to ask for lunch at 12 or for dinner at 7. Of course this won't be a problem in tourist bars and restaurants, but everywhere else this just won't happen. Make sure to ask for the kitchen's working hours if you're interested in having a meal in a certain place and don't ask Spaniards to follow your guiri schedule.
use basic words in Spanish to be polite: buenos días, gracias, hasta luego. You don't need a Spanish proficiency certificate to leave a good impression after you leave and avoid that everyone thinks putos guiris again.
Learn about the different nations inside Spain before your visit. Don't expect flamenco shows in Donostia, or sangría in Santiago. Respect our pride: dressing up as a matador, donning a hat with the Spanish flag, or wearing it as a cape may be very unpleasant and rude for the locals in Catalunya, Euskadi, Galiza, etc. Do your homework prior to your visit and you'll enjoy it much much more, since you'll be able to appreciate all the different cultures that live together around here and what each of them has to offer you.

PHILON AWARDS 2024: Nominations are open!!
After last year's successful relaunch of this beautiful celebration of fannish creativity, KiScon is honoured to once again host the Philon Awards. Established by Jenna Sinclair and Shelley Butler in 1997, they originally were an annual event organised by The K/S Press to honour outstanding authors and artists in K/S fandom. With the permission and support of Jenna and Shelley, KiScon is happy to continue this tradition.
There are 8 categories:
Short fic (word count under 10K)
Long fic (word count 10K-50K)
Novella/novel (word count over 50K)
Podfic
Traditional Art
Digital Art
Poetry
Zines
For each category the voters will determine a Gold (first place) and a Silver (second place) winner.
Rules
Nominating and Voting:
Nominations are open until 31 August, 2024. Each fan can nominate up to 3 works per category, but you cannot nominate the same work twice.
For a work to make it onto the voting ballot, it needs at least 3 nominations. Before we add it to the ballot, we will get in touch with the creator to ask whether they are fine with this!
Voting is open from 10 September to 27 October, 2024.
The winners will be announced during KiScon 2024. Each winner will receive a certificate and a small prize.
Nominating and voting both take place via Google Forms, and you need to be logged in in order to submit the form; this ensures that people do not nominate or vote multiple times for the same work. If we suspect sockpuppet activity, we will get in touch for clarification. We keep the nomination and voting process completely confidential! Only the KiScon concom will see the submitted forms.
While *we* won't talk about who nominated what, *you* can still discuss your faves and promote them, if you feel comfortable doing so. Making fellow fans aware of great works and sharing why you love and want to nominate them, is encouraged.
You can submit the nominations form only once, but you can edit your responses if you need to add or change something (just follow the link in the email you receive after submitting the form). Please make sure to include every fanwork you want to see on the shortlist. You cannot edit your responses after nominations have closed.
To answer a question we received last year: yes, you can nominate (and vote for) your own work(s). We won't judge you. ;-)
Fanworks:
The work must focus on the pairing Kirk/Spock or Kirk & Spock. Slash (romantic and/or sexual relationship) and gen (friendship) are equally eligible. If a fic includes Kirk and/or Spock in relationships with other characters, be they canonical or original, this does not disqualify the work for the Philon Awards, as long as the focus is clearly on Kirk and Spock's relationship.
Art must feature Kirk or Spock or both of them; additional characters in the artwork are allowed, but no depiction of Kirk/Other or Spock/Other.
All universes are welcome: TOS (series and movies), TAS, and reboot, Discovery and Strange New Worlds. AUs and mirror universe are equally allowed. Crossovers between different Trek franchises or between Trek and other media are permitted, as long as Kirk and Spock are the work’s main characters.
RPF works (e.g. Shatnoy) are not eligible.
All ratings and genres are allowed. If a work among your nominations includes strong elements that would merit a warning on the AO3 (e.g. rape, major character death etc.), we'd appreciate a heads-up on the nominations form, so that we can make sure to include the warning on the shortlist.
The work must be complete. It can be part of a series, but the work itself must not be a WIP (missing chapters or a draft/unfinished sketch).
The work must have been created and published (print or online) after last year's nomination period. So everything from 1 September 2023 onwards until the end of the current nomination phase (31 August 2024) is eligible. Reprints or uploads of earlier works (e.g. a fic you wrote and published a few years ago and uploaded to the AO3 only recently) cannot take part in this contest. If a multi-chapter fic was started earlier, but the date of completion falls within the eligible range, then it can also be nominated.
For podfic the creation/publication date of the actual podfic counts, not of the written fic that inspired it.
AI-generated fic is NOT allowed.
Traditional art means that it was hand-drawn or hand-painted; scanning or photographing the finished work in order to publish it online is allowed, of course.
With digital art, we mean art that was created by a fan artist directly on a tablet or computer, or art that started out as hand-drawn and underwent significant digital alterations in the next steps. We do NOT allow AI-generated art! Manips based on still images or photos of the actors are not eligible in this contest.
Zines: Both e-zines and print zines published between 1 September 2023 and 31 August 2024 are eligible.
Last but not least: these awards are meant to be fun and a celebration of the K/S fandom. The shortlist will double as lovely rec list! We get to talk about our faves and let the creators know that we love their works.
You can fill in the nominations form embedded on the KiScon website, or (if your device does not display it properly) you can find it directly at this link.

Witches' School General Information Post
Please read all of this before signing up or asking a question.
What is the Witches' School?
Witches' School is a one-year course which offers several classes related to aspects of modern witchcraft, neopaganism, and similar things. You will get a digital certificate if and when you complete it, but said certificate holds no value in the real world, unfortunatly.
Is it free?
Enrolling costs no money, and this is a volunteer-based project. You will, however, probably be asked to aquire materials for classes which might cost money, such as a notebook, or salt. These requests are minimized as much as possible, as we are well aware that a large majority of (potential) students are minors, do not have a enough money to budget for witchcraft, are in the broom closet, or multiple of the above.
How does the tagging system work?
"witches school info" - information about rules, classes, structure, etc
Other than that, class names are tagged on classes, as well as the Term + year. Asks are tagged "witches school ask".
Who can enroll?
Anyone can enroll! If you're a baby witch, an experienced witch who's curious or wants to refresh their knowledge, a curious nonbeliever (as long as you're respectful), or just coming back to witchcraft after a hiatus, anyone is welcome! Students of all ages, backgrounds, genders, etc, are encouraged to enroll.
What do you need to enroll?
All students are required to have the following; an active tumblr account, a google account, an active email account, a phone number with acces to whatsapp, and at least a moderate understanding of English. All classes and organisation will be in English, but you're allowed to use a translating program if needed. Furthermore, individual classes may have extra requirements.
When can you enroll?
Forms to enroll for the next Term should always be available, but you will only be able to begin classes at the beginning of Term.
What's a Term, then?
There are four Terms a year: Spring Term, Summer Term, Fall/Autumn Term, and Winter Term. Terms are based on the Wheel of the Year (if you don't know what that is, you could look it up, but it's covered in some classes). Next Term will be Spring Term 2025, from Imbolc to Beltane (Feb 1 - May 1). Dropping or taking a new class is also something that only happens in between Terms- although, if you plan to drop a class anyways, nobody's forcing you to complete the work or read the lessons.
What classes are there?
For next Term, there should be a total of twelve classes. Two of which are mandatory, as they are about the most basic things any witch should know, and other classes would be rather difficult without them. These classes are The Practical Aspects of Magic, and Stereotypes & the Reality About Magic. You are required to sign up for at least one optional class, and you're free to sign up for every single one if you want to and have the time/energy. Details about individual classes can be found here.
How do grades work?
Grades are pretty straightforward. They work in a numbered system, going up to 10, with one decimal. In simpler terms: If you get nothing right, you'll get a 0. If you get half right, you'll get a 5. If you get everything right, you'll get a 10. A passing grade is a 5 or higher. A failing grade is a 4.9 or lower. At the end of each Term, your overall grades per class will be calculated into an average. If that grade average is a 5 or higher, you've passed the class.
Wait, what? You can fail a class?
Yes, you can. Unless it's one of the required classes, don't worry about it too much- all it means is that the failed class won't be on your Term Certificate, and you can pick it right up in time for next Term. If it really bothers you, you can always come back a later year to retake that class in the Term you failed it. If you fail a required/mandatory class, however, you fail the Term. That means you won't recieve a Term Certificate, and will have to retake the Term, or at least the required class you failed, another year if you want your Witch's Certificate. You can, however, request a declaration stating the classes you did pass that Term, so that you won't have to retake those as well. If you do not have a declaration, it's essentially as if you never completed the Term.
What's all this about Certificates?
For each Term you pass, you will get a digital Term Certificate. It will not be made public. The Term Certificate includes the Term & Year, your full name, and your end-of-Term average in all the classes that you passed. Failed classes will not be mentioned on your Term Certificate. If you have a Term Certificate for each Term, you will get a Witch's Certificate. It will include the year(s) in which you passed which Terms, your date of graduation, a signature from your teacher, and each class you have ever passed, even if only once. If you passed certain classes in a Term that you failed, they will not be on your Witch's Certificate unless you've handed in a declaration stating you passed those classes.
Is there homework? What about tests?
Yes, there is homework. Some of it is graded, some of it isn't. All of it should be easy. If you think homework is too difficult, or too time-consuming, please request a change or ask a question. At the end of each Term, there will be a test per class that combines all the subjects discussed that Term. Other than that, classes will individually decide how many tests are required per Term or subject.
The learning methods available don't work for me / I need an accesibility feature that isn't already provided
You are free to request anything that will benefit your learning experience. If you have something specific in mind, that's great, and if not, we will work with you to find something that works. There is no discrimination here, and the comfort of students is a high priority, especially those that are disabled, neurodivergent, or mentally ill. While the structure is set up like a school, this is most importantly a place for you to educate yourself, recieve the help you need, and make connections in a witchy community. Fun will always be more important than grades and exceptions are easy to get.
What's the difference between a question and a request?
A question is public, a request is more personally relevant. If you have a question, something that might be relevant to others, you may put it in the ask box, and it will be publicly answered. If you have a request, you may dm this account. Examples of requests are listed in this post, but here they are again: if you need a declaration of passed classes, if you require accessibility features, if the homework is too intense for you, and other things that are specific to you and your needs. Examples of questions are all the bold texts in this post, and similar things.
How do classes work?
Classes are weekly. At some point on the day of the class, a post will be made on this tumblr with the title of the class and the link to the class. TA's and students will be tagged. Classes themself are in google docs, and will include a written lecture, links to relevant sources for you to look at, homework instructions, and information about any and all upcoming tests. Furthermore, you will be added to a whatsapp group for each class you take, so that you can have classmate interaction. Even if you never message these groups, it's important to keep track of them so you know who your classmates are for group or duo assignments. And you might even make some friends!
What does a TA do? Can I become a TA?
If you're a witch with moderate to professional experience and knowledge, and you have the time and energy, you can sign up to be a TA when you sign up for classes. Signing up to be a TA doesn't nessicarily mean you will be a TA. You cannot be a TA for a class you are taking, and being a TA will not have any affect on your grades, the rules, or anything of the sort. All TA's (just like all teachers) are volunteers and get no pay.
What are the rules? What happens if I break a rule?
The rules are fairly simple: be kind to eachother, do the homework, read the lesson, make the tests. Of course, not being able to follow lessons is sometimes something that can happen, and we'll gladly discuss a solution. There is no rule against cheating or using AI, because there isn't really a point in cheating or using AI. You're here to learn, failing a Term will do no damage to your normal daily life, and as much as this is set up as a school, it's more of a community. That being said, cheating and using AI is still heavily discouraged, and if something is recognisibly AI it will likely get a lower grade. It's also against the rules to put homework/test answers anywhere that others might see it, unless they've specifically asked for it. That includes comment sections, whatsapp groupapps, etc. If you cheat or use AI, there will probably be a conversation as to why you did so, but there are no negative consequences. Not being able to follow lessons or putting answers somewhere other can see them will get you a conversation and probably a warning. If you have two or more warnings in one Term, you will be expelled. If you behave judgemental, bigoted, or discriminatory towards another student, a TA, or a teacher, you will recieve one warning before being expelled.
Expelled!? What does being expelled entail?
Being expelled isn't quite as much of a big deal as you probably think it is. Being expelled simply means that you are dropped from all classes for the Term, and you will not be able to complete, and therefor pass, the Term. Your information will still be kept, and you can sign up again for classes next Term. Of course, if you want to graduate, you'll have to redo the Term another year. You can only get expelled once per year though. If you've done something to warrant expulsion a second time in one calendar year, you will be banned, which is much more severe. Being banned means that you will be unable to sign up for classes ever again, and your tumblr account will be blocked.
What information exactly does the Witches' School keep on me?
Only the information you filled in when you enrolled. That includes your name, email adress, phone number, and tumblr, among a few other things. Most of which will be deleted once you graduate. Feel free to request more details about what information we have on you! It isn't like this is a corporation or even a business that might sell out your information, or use it for targeted ads. This is a community effort run primarily by one person.
So, where do I enroll?
Right here! By enrolling, you're also signing up for the school newspaper, which will be sent to your email once per Term. You're also agreeing to stick to the rules mentioned above, and to be tagged for your classes, get added to the whatsapp group(s), etc.

Segye Ilbo Exclusive: "No Sexual Crime Charge Despite 'Humiliation Request'… The Perpetrator Aspires to Become a Teacher" By Jeong Ji-hye Published on September 8, 2024, 10:14 AM
"They posted my name, resident registration number, and address in a photo, asking, 'Please humiliate her,' and threatened to 'enslave me.' But since they didn’t explicitly ask for sexual harassment, it’s not considered a sexual crime."
A (18), a high school student from Seoul, met with Segye Ilbo on August 30 to discuss her experience of catching a perpetrator who attempted to commit a Deepfake sexual crime against her via Telegram last May. Although she was able to quickly identify the perpetrator and prevent further damage, the emotional aftermath continues to trouble her.
The incident began in mid-May when A received a message from someone claiming to be preparing to join the police force. The message said she was involved in a digital sex crime. At first, A thought it was a spam message, but after hearing from a friend about the rise of Deepfake crimes, she decided to follow up with the informant.
The materials A received were shocking. The captured conversations included her name, phone number, Instagram ID, home address, a photo of her ID, and various other documents like her USB contents, resume, and family relationship certificate. In a group chat, the perpetrator sought someone to "humiliate" A, and upon finding someone, they would move to a private chat to share more detailed information about her.
A, who described herself as generally quiet at school, was terrified to learn that someone held such deep animosity toward her. She suspected the perpetrator was a fellow student but couldn’t pinpoint who it might be. Eventually, the informant advised her to check her Instagram followers, as the perpetrator had just sent her a follow request on her private account.
It turned out to be someone she knew—a male student from her class, B. Shocked, A realized that the seemingly "normal" B was the one behind the crime. She matched his Telegram profile with the perpetrator’s and reported him to the police, who confirmed that they could identify the perpetrator. Within a week of receiving the first message, B was caught.
Because A was able to identify the perpetrator quickly, she avoided being victimized by Deepfake content. The perpetrator hadn’t yet obtained photos beyond her ID photo to create a Deepfake image. A expressed relief, saying, "I post a selfie on my public Instagram account about once a month, and it seems like the perpetrator couldn’t find any images after deciding to commit the crime. If I had posted a photo just a week later, the situation might have been different."
"I wasn't the only one affected. So many others have suffered. It made me realize we need to root this out completely."
A few months later, A learned that what she experienced was part of a much larger issue involving nationwide Deepfake pornography production. She realized this was a continuation of the infamous 2019 Telegram Nth Room sexual exploitation case. A suspected there could be overlap between the perpetrators, and since they hadn’t all been caught, they might continue committing similar crimes.
A decided to come forward for this interview, hoping to raise awareness of the need for appropriate punishment, even for attempted Deepfake production and "humiliation" requests. Although B specifically targeted A and made degrading comments about turning her into a slave, no charges were applied. Even posting her ID and personal information couldn’t be punished under current laws. In the end, B was only charged with theft for stealing her USB, avoiding criminal punishment and facing only juvenile court.
A representative from Nowon Police Station commented, "The case was processed under theft and the Personal Information Protection Act, and we referred the theft charge to the prosecutor's office." However, they explained that since B did not use A’s resident registration number for identity verification, it wasn’t punishable under the Resident Registration Act. The police also noted that since no digital manipulation occurred, they couldn’t classify it as a digital sex crime. There was no clear regulation for the "humiliation" request either.
While four individuals, including the informant, are suspected of discussing A’s "humiliation" with B in private chats, forensic analysis of B’s phone was not conducted. The police explained, "At the time, we determined that there was no one else holding A’s data."
The Nowon Police official further noted, "With the rise of new crimes like Deepfake, there is momentum for new laws to address even attempted crimes. Once laws are in place, we will be able to apply appropriate penalties."
"I'm a senior in high school, and going through this makes it hard to even dream about college life. As for the perpetrator? He wants to become a math teacher."
B, who was sent to juvenile court, faced a forced transfer under the School Violence Countermeasures Committee. Unlike expulsion, which leaves a permanent record, forced transfers are erased after four years. By the time B graduates from university and seeks employment, no trace of the incident will remain. The education office cited that "it was a one-time offense, and he showed signs of remorse," as the reason for the lenient punishment.
A said, "I never received an apology from B, and even though he was supposed to submit a handwritten apology to the school, nothing was delivered." She expressed frustration, believing that B was merely pretending to be remorseful during the committee hearing to avoid harsher consequences.
The aftermath of the incident severely impacted A’s academic performance and mental health. She couldn’t concentrate on her studies due to depression and panic attacks. Though B is no longer at the school, some of his friends remain, leaving A in constant fear of illegal filming or further harm. She is currently on medication and has taken academic leave, virtually giving up on this year’s college entrance exam.
Meanwhile, B is reportedly preparing for university entrance exams at his new school, aiming to become a math teacher. A noted that the fact that her daily life remains disrupted while B's proceeds almost unaffected is what infuriates her the most.
When asked if she had someone to confide in, A said, "Not really. Everyone wants to move on, so I don’t talk about it. I also don’t want to burden my family or friends with my emotions." She added, "It's hard to approach people now, and I fear that expressing my anxiety will make me seem weak. I constantly worry about being targeted again if I upset someone."

What is nft? I have zero knowledge about this subject, tried to google but won't understand, so please could you explain like I'm five? Why is it a problem? I'm 100 % positive Jere has no idea either.
hi!! i'll give you a quick explaination and then link a video to watch
Non-fungible tokens, or N//FT's for short (censoring to avoid bots flooding to this post) are a digital asset stored on a big public online database called the blockchain. they are, in theory, completely individual and cannot be replicated as they are authenticated on the blockchain with their own unique ID - think of it like a certificate of authentication for a piece of art - except the art is on a screen and basically anyone can take a screenshot of it.
the main issues people have with them are
1) their environmental impact. the servers used to run the blockchain use huge amounts of power and energy resulting in large unnecessary co2 emissions. purchasing, transferring and holding of N//FTs is all part of this. while there are ways to lessen this, it is unclear whether the system kollekt uses utilises them - and doesnt change the fact that the best way to avoid the environmental impact of N//FTs is to not use them at all.
2) the financial impact. not totally applicable to this as it is a free raffle, but most N//FTs, at this point are basically worthless. paired with the fact that they are usually bought with cryptocurrency - which is very unregulated in many places including where I am in the UK - means that the purchasing of N//FTs is a huge financial risk.
this is a very long but very informative video that goes more in depth with most of the issues:
youtube
EDIT: the link to the raffle has been reinstated so I don't think they are looking to take it down.

few things of note now that i finally found the whole pictures of 'steve's' office (from here for others like me who were unsure) i noticed that;
a: they took away his rabbit mail holder in the actual film
Tumblr media
but they ALSO removed that second 'award' from the corner of his shelf to put that box there. the box was originally on his actual bookcase next to the other locked box (that looks slightly similar to the fn/af4 box, i'd say a little more so than the one they moved, but whatever. also if im reading it correctly, the sticket on the box says 'ports and film.' but it may also say 'file'. the first may also say 'porth' or 'porte', i'm dyslexic so its hard to tell, but 'ports and film' make the most sense to me. )
Tumblr media
my assumption for the rabbit mail holder was it was too on the nose, maybe, and the rabbits foot is smaller and less likely to be noticeable so its smaller easter eggs. The lamp behind him and the chairs are also spring bonnie colored if you notice, which gives more subtle hints as to who he is (honestly the fans knew, a: s/cott leaked it to d/awko immediately after m/atthew signed the contract, and b: m/atthew kind of leaked it himself too lol)
they also changed positions of a few things here and there, noticeable here when in the movie the camera focuses on mike
Tumblr media
they sort of swapped the position of the coffee table and moved the stuff behind the chairs to the side instead.
Tumblr media
those big file cabinets also seem to have been moved completely. which as a nerd im super interested in. i believe they put the one award they moved the box for on the wall in the screencap above.
also, another little thing i noticed; the inside of his cup kind of looks like freddy's mouth
Tumblr media
looks a little bit like a mouth, this is the best i could find in the movie itself but one of the games had an animatronics mouth look like that (I think this is more coincidence but its a cool coincidence)
Tumblr media
also!!! the award they moved from the shelf to put the box there instead? we see it again later, when mike calls him to ask if the jobs still open.
Tumblr media
its on his desk, no longer framed, unfortunately i cant read what it says though.
and heres some close ups (as good as i could) of 'steve's' office. mostly things with writing on them. i sharpened them as well as i could.
Tumblr media
the now infamous participation award is front and center of course, but i do thing the 'certificate of regional social worker of the year' award should also be noticed, bc who let him--
Tumblr media
the painting on the side of him, its like a road with a tree
Tumblr media
labels for probably files from 97 and 98.
Tumblr media
i'm pretty sure the 099111 were numbers found on scotts website or a 'glitch' in one of the games at one point iirc. i remember the numbers from something.
Tumblr media
i believe the one box says like, 145-176 or something. earlier i thought it said 1995-1996 but sharpening it i think it looks more three digit number to me.
Tumblr media
cant' really read any of it ngl
Tumblr media
honestly i think sharpnening it might have made it even harder to read but i couldnt make it out either way.

26th to 30th Apr; doa🚲 complete!!
hi. gah. okay. here's my wrap up for the month
📝 prepped for and completed the last set of internal tests for this degree [2/2] (which I got through after much cribbing and whining and quite literally projecting study topics onto my blorbos 👍 ) 📝 started GRE prep!
🎓 got some gradecard related paperwork done 🎓 spoke to my prof regarding my internship deliverables for uni—report format, certificate requirements, etc etc
📥 I voted! it was the first central elections since I turned to an adult and the whole experience was quite interesting
💻 completed a bunch of tasks for my internship
💻 made like a super extensive flowchart about all the work done at my internship which took me like a total of 20+ hours T-T 💻 finished preparing my Uni Internship presentation! 💻 submitted the presentation to the assistant guide, waiting on her response to make changes atm
🍶 7+ glasses of daily water intake 🎵 svt's new single is out and I've been going insane about it and thus this challenge comes to an end... I had started this off as an 18day daily habit tracker but then it kind of grew out into a challenge for the month. Special thanks to Yumi the loml <3 (@thelastneuron) for starting the Days of April challenge (Yumi idk when you'll see this but i miss you and I hope you've been kicking ass during your hiatus). also massive thanks to Zip (@zipstidbits) for leaving the kindest comments/tags on my post during the past week and to Tanishka (@booksbluegurl) who is literally the sweetest and has been sending in asks and keeping me company during this challenge <3
there's a lot more i wanna yap about in regards to how the month went but I'll leave that under the tags xD goodnight besties <3
Tumblr media
month end brainrot
april started off with dips and more dips but by the end of the month it feels like I've caught up. productivity is a wave so as long as I keep riding at it i'll be okay.
also. progress is cumulative. even the seemingly inconsequential completion of daily tasks has lead to an overall improvement through the week. things add up
I spent a lot of time this month (and moreso this past week) feeling dejected that I've been leaving my tracker posts (and my digital planner entries) incomplete... but like. the whole point of trackers and planners (and this studyblr) is to get work done. work is the priority and the tracking is a means to an end. so if im getting work done that is already a win. yeah... i've had to keep reminding myself that
there is no one-tool-fix for tracking and journalling. what works for planning out one task will not work for the other. I need to strop trying to fit all my plans into one formulaic strategy box
on that note. it's time to return to handwritten journaling. digital journalling (notion + YPT + discord + tumblr) was fun while it lasted <3 but my brain needs novelty again so it's time i switch back. I think I finally have an idea for a system that could be sustainable for me... although I say that every time I switch to a new form of tracking. but hey. as long as it helps me get work done for whatever duration of time, it's good enough
using kpop and kdrama references to make notes and study really paid off. ngl I only did it cause I was super desperate but incorporating stuff I couldn't understand with a topic I really like paid off. It also gave me the motivation and momentum to study for much longer than I otherwise would have
last but not least. my water intake has been really good this month! I've also been eating healthy and I've been cooking more my phone usage has also been reduced by a lot. sure none of them have had a perfect streak but i started at zero and it feels like I've levelled up quite a bit. the exercise component has been a bit difficult to maintain given my workload :/ i need to figure out what to do about that...
yep. that's it for now. this month really tired me out, I think im gonna lay off daily challenges for a while. For now I guess I'll stick to my (bi?tri?)weekly tracker posts xD

donnie 💜🍇🔮👾☁️
Donnie, who is the first to intercept April’s call that fateful day.
Donnie, who doesn’t know how to feel when he’s made aware of the whole situation. He had answered April’s call with his usual flair, relaxed and amused at the fact that their best friend was still outside in the bitter New York autumn–winter weather; he slurped loudly on his steaming mug of coffee for emphasis. Because he’s a little bastard.
Donnie, who’s the first one out of his siblings to know.
Donnie, who sets his dumbstruck-ness aside in order to put forth what he does best: work and help. April sounded so distressed and that was enough. He could tell she was masking it, though, and that just augments the entire situation. He doesn’t bother saying much – seeing as Leo had been there to hear the main gist of the conversation. The twins move in perfect sync as they prep their individual stations: he’s set in one part of his lab while his robotic arms are in another, and by the end of it, the Med Bay is set up to his impeccable standards; his monitors are set separately with April’s tracker and a loaded screen ready for data collection on another.
He ends up doing a dramatic arm sweep when cleaning off one of his desks– a desk which was previously occupied by a load of junk that Leo had brought in earlier: snacks, a couple takeout containers, comics, a unicorn lovey, a half full pickle jar for some reason?
–and Leo can’t even be mad. He’s too preoccupied in his own mind.
But it’s a funny memory for them to look back on – solely for the way Donnie was so aggressive with it while focusing on something else entirely.
Donnie, who keeps a neutral standing once you and April arrive, but he’s just as worried as everyone else. When you both make eye contact– he feels it. The shiver at the center of his ninpo. The sense of familiarity is strange and overwhelming . . . he’s never met you before. So, what in the name of Ohm’s Law is this?
Donnie, who feels a fickle sense of kinship with you right from the beginning. He won't be the one to tell you that outright, tho. He was far more taciturn in his approach to you; compared to his blue banded brother, at least. He mirrored Leo's tactic of telling you what he was doing before or as he did it, and he moved with the hands of a kind-hearted scientist. Gentle, swift, and efficient. He may not have joined in on Leo's jokes or cute little comments to distract you – but he did give you a sympathetic expression in spite of himself.
Donnie, who runs a RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF BACKGROUND CHECKS ON YOU. I’M TALKING METRIC TON WORLDWIDE DATABASE SEARCHES. HE BYPASSED SEVERAL GOVERNMENTAL HEADQUARTERS, PROBABLY ALERTED THE PENTAGON ON ACCIDENT BUT HE’S NOT FOCUSED ON THAT RIGHT NOW–HE KNOWS WHERE YOU’RE FROM, WHO YOU COME FROM (??), HAS ACQUIRED A DIGITAL COPY OF YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE SOMEHOW?? (which, might I note, got completely destroyed in the Invasion and there are literally no known traces of it anywhere else–) His statistics are simply unmatched. Bro’s weird. And terrifyingly capable.
Donnie, who offers his own bedroom to you when Leo and he are finished dressing your wounds. He had spoken with Mikey about what would be the best things to feed you, and after the intrinsic nudge he sensed, left the kitchen to whatever aftermath of thinly controlled chaos his brothers would achieve this time. After all, it's not everyday you come into caring for a whole child.
Donnie, who had kept track of your vitals the entire time you were asleep, dropping everything to check on you when something went awry. He forced April to go with him (though it didn't take much convenience) but blessedly, you didn't rouse to full consciousness outside of twitching in your sleep. He left April to soothe you even further back to slumber, loitering nearby, stiff and simply watching.
Donnie, who isn't good at emotions. At all. Didn't really like them, either. They were something that was difficult for him to properly process through and were unpredictable. But he does swear then and there that, in spite of all things… you were important.
Donnie, who says as much while they all discuss what to do with you at the living center of the Lair. Despite his desperate masking of his very off-kilter emotions, he was an open book.
He grit his teeth, he worried his lip, he returned Leo's incredulous eyebrow ridge raise with a glare so cold you could've put it in a drink and called it refreshing… and found that in the grand scheme of things, he didn't care.
There were much more important things to worry about at the moment.
That's what he tells himself.
That's what he tells himself as he ignores the fact that he's the one who's most adamant on taking you in. That's what he tells himself as he and Leo share a knowing look again. That's what he tells himself as his gauntlet beeps to alert them all that you're fully awake now. And that's what he tells himself as he and April descend the halls to you. To you. You.
Donnie, who doesn't stay around for all the excitement once you agree to staying. He had turned away and immediately went to work at getting the whole process started – and he most certainly did not turn away so quickly so everyone couldn't see the palpable shift in his aura. He would never admit it, but he was excited. And that was scary. He hardly ever knew you! As far as he was concerned, you were just a random street child that his best friend who wore their heart on their sleeve took in. And yes, that's true in every sense of the word, but everything happens for a reason, no?
Donnie, who's excited for change.
Donnie, who's entirely terrified that he's excited. For change.
Donnie, who may be terrified of what he's feeling, and when he can't filter through these new feelings, shoves them deep down to work through later. Much, much later. For now, he puts on his Big Boy gloves and rocks it as the genius he is.
Donnie, a veritable professional in all things [Name]. Albeit the road to get where you guys are now was paved with . . . well. Oddities. In instances, he regarded you as another “project” or living statistic breach. As peculiar as it may sound, this process is what aids Donnie in becoming much closer to you in such a short amount of time.
He wouldn’t consider himself to like kids: they were sticky, loud, nosy, reckless and gross . . . but you? You were an exception. You always are.
Donnie, who doesn’t admit you become his favorite in a first-rate amount of time, but it’s blatantly obvious that you become his favorite in a first-rate amount of time.
When you get over the initial shyness and come out of your shell (HA.) a lot more, you find yourself wandering into Donnie a lot. Be it in his lab — ... where this whole thing started, really. The catalytic incident happened like this: you bypass the extensive security system without a cinch, he nearly unleashed all seven gates of tech-grade hell on you by reflex because you actually scared the Softshell out of him– but when he realized it was only you, he simmered down to a cold and sulky puddle, if only a little tense. Turning you away was on the tip of his tongue but . . . something, something, stopped him.
Long story short, you ended up staying. He set you down on a nearby beanbag after a very lecturing warning to not touch anything, and turned back to his work. It might’ve come off as annoyance, but he just didn’t want you to get hurt: physically and emotionally.
(He just sucks a–word at showcasing his emotions /aff◝(ᵔᵕᵔ)◜ Y’all get there eventually, don’t worry.)
Then you prove your worth! You’re respectful, and though your eyes shine with childish curiosity, you don’t disobey Donnie’s words and stay put. Lookie, no touchie. And that’s probably what catches Donnie’s attention at first– very early on; he doesn’t outwardly show it, and Donnie is not one to be easily impressed, but you? You impressed him. Greatly.
Also, you’re willing to listen to him!! He rambles on and on and you sit there with a cute little expression on your face. You’re invested, despite what may be showing on the outside, and just when Donnie has it pegged as everything he’s saying isn’t registering to you, you ask him relative questions.
He’s pretty much hooked from then on out.
You get privileges that nobody else does! He sets up a little corner reserved just for you in his lab, stocks up on your favorite snacks and drinks, and he creates so. many. things for you! Gift giving is his prime love language after all.
He sees you as a ~fresh mind~ And when you initially don't decline his interests in the sciences, he is practically vibrating with excitement! Proceeds to stuff your hungry little brain chock full of everything he knows, and beyond that!
However, even if you don't have a STEM-dominant mind, it's okay! If you happen to doze off while he's well into another one of his infodump rambles, he doesn't get mad. If anything, he's kind of... endeared?
He might tease you a little, but it's all from a place of love.
Concerning academics, the help from Unca Don-Bon always ensures that you at most get a passing grade for all your science-centered subjects! Not to mention the science projects and fairs. Oh man.
Y'all either dominate the entire school every time, or you come within nano inches of getting expelled every time.
Oh also also— this man scoffs at modern-age technology, you can't tell me he doesn't. You ALSO can't tell me he didn't create his phone from scratch. Heck he might've created his entire family's phones from scratch. Bro has his own OS and — when you come of age to start holding onto your own electronics — everything you own is patented by Genius Built™. Of course.
Don't insult him (or do. just for the laughs) by utilizing said modern-age technology. Just don't. (Do it. His reactions are golden every time.) He can appreciate good technology where he sees it, but it's not often. That's why it's so funny.
The most he did once when you gawked over the PS5 was scoop you up into his arms and give a condescending look so low to the contraption, it had you cackling the entire way as he ranted about the highs and lows of technology.
But hey! All your electronics are one of a kind! You can't ever say that~ Any updates or features that you want, he makes it happen. He completely personalizes it to your tastes to make it as comfortable for you as possible.
Your acquaintances are mad jealous of your cool tech and you can only knifecatmeme.jpeg your way through like a boss. (Golden ref. 🙌🏼❤️)
Donnie, who all too gladly helps you with your homework! April has to stop him from literally doing all your work for you.
—y’all be getting into the dumbest situations fr 😭 Be it conversations or infiltrating multiple high–standing scientific research facilities or simply discussing the economic state of the world or literally what's better: flavorless juice or pineapple smoothies, y’all gone be the main ones. That’s all.
(He gets you something yummy afterwards tho! As a treat. Bonus points if you don’t snitch. He always takes responsibility. He throws in an extra head ruffle or two. But he always, always makes sure you don't get in trouble. He's got your back, you have his. Partners in crime, best way to describe y'all.)
“If Little Jimmy has 12 apples and he gives 5.7 of those apples to his friend Becky, multiplies by the 7 to the nth power, then divides that all by the median of an octagon, how much horsepower was Little Jimmy’s dad conducting the neighbor’s car after 15.5 minutes exactly of installation?”
“. . .”
“. . . .”
“. . . . . Seven–”
“What in the fresh hell are they teaching you at that wretched, poor excuse of a school?”
(And Donnie loves school. That’s how you know it’s bad. Zeep, blatantly dissing the public education system? More likely than you would think!)
Cue April walking into the kitchen in her pajamas, all sleepy-eyed and confused, only to see her best friend and child reciting PEMDAS at the table. You start crying and Donnie sings the Pi Song with his best opera voice in support.
Donnie, who is very, very protective over you. He's the type to show, not tell, but believe me - once you're out of sight, he has a lot of colorful things to say to your offenders . . .
your foster mother being a prime example.
Needless to say, your foster mom is now completely ineligible to foster in the system any longer (as well as any and all forms of careers in all of New York. And the surrounding states. Probably the whole world.)
—and if anyone has anything to say about it, all he sees is the flashing image of a sweet little child, homeless and scared and alone, braving it out on the streets.
He'll never let anyone hurt you. His tech is always on standby when it comes to your safety.
And I mean, all his tech.
Donnie, kooky, scientific and calculating uncle Donnie –
. . . forthcoming, thoughtful, heart full of love Donnie, who may not be the best with his words, especially when expressing how much he loves you, but is one of the beloveds in your corner who says it the most.
“Haha! Aw, man. I love you, Purple Rain.”
“Mhmm. And I do suppose you’re enjoyable at most, my Young Apprentice!”
“Unca’ Don-Bon . . .”
“ . . . Ah, Sweet Galileo. I love you too, [Name], you already know I do.”
🫐‧₊˚ ☁️⋅♡𓂃 ࣪🪻 ִֶָ☾.
(we did it boys *passes out on your lap* Donnie Bonnie is doneeee!!! it was under high construction for quite a while, especially after Tumblr ate it, so this is a revamped version! but just as well, no? :'3 hope you enjoy this one, ceejie pie!! 🥰🤍)
ZEEPIE🫀
i’m still a little sick (& delirious) so i’m so sorry if my reply doesn’t make sense—
okay so— as much as i LOVE and ADORE uncle don….
what if…. NOW HEAR ME OUT OKAY?!
WHAT IF ………. it was dad don™️
dad don that ensures a proper education. he’s explaining the (poorly taught) subjects to you better than any teacher ever could. is he a bit aggressive about it? yes. but does he reward you afterwards? also yes!!
dad don who never expected to be seen as any sort of father figure.
it’s donnie who nearly cries when you accidentally call him dad one day.
dad don who raises you to be strong, smart, and independent. dad don who’s so proud of you when you get awarded for any subject.
and donnie— he never expected to adore a child as much as he does you. but— the moment you looked at him and his inventions with such passion and curiosity… he just knew that you would be the only exception (youuu are the onlyyy exceptionnnn). the only kid he’d ever care for.
but going back to uncle tello— he’s the kind of uncle to do illegal pranks with you— especially when it’s towards your school (again, illegal?).
uncle tello can’t even hear you say “love you, uncle” without wanting to burst into tears— not because it’s uncomfortable but— because, he’s so overwhelmed with joy.
uncle donatello that secretly goes to your school on the first day of kindergarten because, he’s so scared that something bad could happen to you. he doesn’t want a ‘purple dragons’ incident (you’re literally 5??).
uncle don and dad don are both so attached to you because, he’s been one of your main caretakers since you were just 3 years old.
donnie has watched you grow into such an amazing person and he can’t help but feel so happy that he was able to witness it all.
teehee (michael jackson style)
(i really hope this makes sense…. i am loopy from meds)
