Do you have any tips on how to render or anatomy? Specifically furry anatomy.

i dunno how to make this specifically furry but yes!

studying the forms and shapes of the human body is the best way to figure out how form and shading works. what i use to study is this figure drawing tool which is pretty good substitute for a figure drawing class if you dont have access to one

and then for references, i have a copy of the book "anatomy for sculptors" (i think theres a pdf version online somewhere but idk). iiiii wouldnt 100% recommend Buying that one bc while it does have useful information theres a lot of eurocentric/straight sized features described as "ideal" instead of being like. actually diverse information. but i do think there is good stuff in there besides that

another reference i use is the app "magic poser" for ipad. i paid the $10 or whatever it is for the extra features, its worth it

and finally, here's my massive pinterest board of pose references i use for inspiration

Studying this stuff will make it easier to draw and render whatever u want, including however u want to draw furry bods!

I love the absolute contrast between the digi!cala and AiE!Cryptid dynamic vs the digi!XD and AiE!XD dynamic like

I can just picture a scenario in my head where Cala and Cryptid are just bonding because horrors and then we just cut to the XDs in AiE's basement as he explains his entire wall of stalking material and Cornelius is just internally going "what the fuck. What the fuck. WHAT THE FUCK" at every new thing AiE explains because truly, it never gets better. And then we cut back to Cala and Cryptid bonding and talking about how maybe they should start a Minecraft server together.

I really love your art style with the very visible brush strokes and distinct shades. I've actually been to an art school but I still never really got good at drawing, but I still, I get so much joy from looking at beautiful artwork like yours.

I never know how to respond to compliments other than saying thank you, but know that I mean it!

Art school, personally, helped me in some ways and not so much in others. While I don't think it exactly helped me grasp the style I wanted (something I've been having a better idea of lately now but still a little fuzzy!), it certainly helped me to try and discipline myself (like gesture drawings. I try to do gestures every day even if I don't plan on drawing. I've been slacking a bit on it, but have been getting back into it lately) among other things.

I realized I wanted a more "painterly" look with my art after college, and is something I'm exploring in terms of the different ways to go about it.

Two artists I suggest maaaaybe checking out are bluebescuits (they're only on Insta and Twitter, so, sad. But their youtube has been helpful to watch) and @/sonyshock (who is on Tumblr among other places! They also have a youtube channel that I've found helpful to watch!)

The former is where I got the idea of wanting to do more painting, and the latter is whose techniques I've been practicing with lately! But if you like my art, you might like their's as well!

I actually have a full folder for art inspirations, and many ideas/styles clash with each other haha

So they're not the only two I take inspo from exactly, but they've definitely been a pair that's been important for me learning and having a better grasp on digital painting, specifically I think.

I have a fever and am sick in bed, so i am watching cooking shows. One chef just said he sees himself as the frontman of the kitchen cause he is a metalhead and that got me thinking... Yamato actually would be a good chef and it would fit in with his skills and crest (cooking for friends as his love language) and the episode of where his crest actives they work in a restaurant. And that! got me thinking if a career swap au would make sense where for Yamato is the cook and Mimi/Daisuke goes to space? They would make friends with aliens too. (I know Mimi is more then a cook and Yamato was "chosen to go to the moon" because of the threat to evolution, but so could any other digi knight)

Well, first of all: Please rest and get well soon! That's the most important thing!

Second of all, it's basically a canonical fact that Yamato is a good cook and the series displays that at several instances; in early Adventure, he is the one who knows how to fry fish in while contrasting Taichi who doesn't - and later on having Taichi tell Hikari that "Yamato taught me how to make [something like omurice]". There's also the bit in the PSP game in which he promises Koushirou to teach him how to cook eggs - and in general, let's not forget that Yamato regularly swoons over meat in Adventure. Then in 02 he is regularly shown cooking for his dad - and when Takeru comes over, he "threatens" him to make the spiciest curry he'd ever eat (and he probably wasn't lying). Aside from Curry, he also has VERY serious opinions on Ramen and absolutely won't have Taichi mess with it. Both his Curry and his Ramen seem to be quite famous actually, as they had been brought up in BOTH Kizuna...

And in the stageplay (I couldn't find the direct quote, but the indirect ones shall do, everyone praises his food there). And funnily enough, while he is in charge of the cooking, he tries his best to keep Mimi's experiments away from it as far as possible.

In fact, I still think that Mimi becoming a TV cook is mainly based on her having quite "out of the norm" tastes, due to her mother having raised her with quite experimental cooking (eggs with sugar or natto on top or kimchi with whipped cream and strawberries, anyone?).

So in the end, you could say that, while they're both into cooking, Yamato is more of a traditionalist, whereas Mimi prefers experimental cooking. Then you also have Sora, who, as we can assume, taught herself to be "a traditional housewife" (at least as far as Tri is concerned). Daisuke is married to Ramen and ONLY Ramen when it comes to food. As for the rest of the squad, it may really depend - you have Miyako who grew up in a convenience store, Iori who is an incredibly picky eater, Hikari who could live off of sweets alone, Taichi who knows how to do basic dishes, but probably doesn't fully utilize his skills unless he has to and prefers takeout otherwise... And Jyou and Koushirou who probably live off of instant Ramen (Yamato would hit Jyou so hard for that, not even gonna lie) and oolong tea.

Career switches are also always a fun concept! I really do believe people like Mimi and Daisuke could befriend every being in the universe out there - and hopefully won't cause an intergalactic war due to their brashness, so we may have to send Ken and Sora with them for diplomacy reasons (because Taichi is already busy being diplomatic on earth). I absolutely would adore Yamato ending up as a cook though - put him in a suit like Sanji from One Piece and the visual comparison would be perfect already.

It’s has a pretty unsure ability to do a temporary jogress (it’s for like 5 mins) they were only around for a year or two before being replaced by the more modern model tho so they’re hard to find.

There you go anon! I didn't mention digi-xros in my post since your question mentioned Jogress specifically, but it is an option available to y'all!

While it is true that the ability to digi-xros is limited to only a handful of species, Spadamon can xros if paired with other Legend Arms Digimon. Loaders are pretty expensive since they were pretty much instantly replaced and there's some legislation against them in some areas, but if you look hard enough you should be able to find one second hand.
