3. How have you grown as a rper this year?

I think the main way I've grown as an rper is in that I've been able to really grow my experience (and joy) in writing in my muses' canon world and really embrace what that allows you to do. For context, for most of my rp career, I've mainly stuck to AUs completely separate from my muse's canon world or crossover verses. I've rarely, with a few exceptions, written strictly in my muses' canon world and expanded upon that. This is mainly because I really enjoy world building and placing characters in new situations, stripping away their canon comforts/set up to put them in a new story but using them as inspiration for new ideas. Things like my Nobles of Nature AU with @abysseeker , @moonlitmarquis and @extremebattler and my Forgotten Regality AU with @lcstsons are a good examples of that.

However, thanks to having written with and met this past year individuals who prefer writing in their muses' canon worlds than 100% non-canon separate AUS, I was given the chance to get out of my comfort zone and really put my all into that type of writing. Through that, I've really gained an appreciation for writing in canon, which has always been difficult for me to maintain in the long term as a writer. I like getting to expand upon characters and explore things in-between what we see on screen. What I've developed for my Mokuba (including his crossover friend group, aged-up self, backstory lore, etc.) and my Kisara are the greatest by products of this and are by far among the things this year writing wise I am the most proud of. I am grateful to those partners who were able to give me that opprotunity, and I've become more flexible and stronger as a writer as a result.

16. Wildcard: talk about anything that you want to that happened this year! This past year, I am in particular proud of me not being so hard on myself when it comes to writing. This includes accepting that not every thing you write will be a masterpiece, not every thread will always spark inspiration and new ones can be formed, and that it's okay if you don't write today, there is always another day. These are things I try my best to convey to others, but sometimes can have trouble following them myself. I think it's made me enjoy writing when I do do it, and has made me happier overall and caused this to not be a stress factor at all in my life (which as a Ph.D student I do not need any more of, especially with starting my dissertation).

7: Talk about one of your favorite threads that started this year.

Man...I had to do some searching to check through our threads because a lot of what I first thought of started LAST YEAR OR HASN'T HAD A REPLY YET SO IT WOULDN'T COUNT FOR THIS MEME LMAO

BUT!!! Upon looking through what we did start/continue this year, I have to give it to our fav new obsession: ZuwijoYudias for our main divergent verse.

I know that thread is only 3 replies (if you count the ask as 1, which I d) but!!! let me just say in those short words we have written, these two have captured my heart more than it was before. You've captured Zuwijo so well while adding this 'fondness' he has for Yudias (which he has in canon too) and already me seeing the lines for how he's gonna juggle with it later on in our storyline after memory wiping and rebirthing...I also loved his little gay panic, 11/10.

I also am happy for how I've been portraying Prince! Yudias in comparison to how he is in present day. I don't get to play with Reincarnations often, so this is fun (it's the same reason writing Ahmes is so fun!)

Can't wait to see where this goes. Already re-read this little thread a lot since we did it and IK I'll read it more as we keep going. Thank you for going down the Go Rush rabbit hole with me <3

8.Talk about one of your favorite headcanons you posted this year.

For sure one of my favs was the Mokuba's future headcanons I did for his birthday, which I put so much time into. It was fun to discuss what I think his future is in multiple timelines and scenarios, including my amusing HC he made up the idea for Riding Duels (cause lets be real. He'd totally make up Card Games on Motorcycles LMFAO).
