All harvests are satisfying, but unearthing root veggies is my favorite.

Celery, beetroots and parsnips were decent this year. Carrots and parsley not so much, was only left with digging maybe half a bucket of each at the end of the season.

it's been nearly 6 months since the ted lasso finale and im still pretty much:

#ted lasso #messing with us tedbecca shippers and giving rebecca some rando...ruining a canon ship...trying to girl boss a character-#-who you didn't even let have her own work plot when it was time...#making two men who had a beautiful relationship growth fight last minute over said girlboss and making them grossly misogynistic #leaving one of your characters in an ab*s*ve relationship was an awful woman and all the mentioned ab*s*ve moments were-#-just for sh*ts and giggles #ohhh and also making it mandatory to forgive even the sh*tty people when it's ok not to #taking your lead away from a place he was most stable and maybe or maybe not having him get back with his ex who told him he was too much..#-got with their therapist (and you never dig deep into that mess) and maybe cheated...#yes to be with his son but there were options for him to stay in london and bring his kid and ex so they could both parent or show a-#representation of these kind of situations and maybe have henry living with each parent 6 months each and getting the best of both worlds #also your boss is more rich than she started and was providing for you your kid and ex #instead we get ted only deciding to leave after his mother told him his kid missed him (as if that isn't obvious) such a weak way to go-#-about it and tbh ted leaving his kid far away to go to london instead of like half an hour way is kind of stupid all round really #they wanted a mary poppins situation except mary poppins made some roots of her own and had connections so it didn'twork #yeah i am still...feeling a lot

#random thoughts #horror #six months ago you killed your husband and buried him under your petunias #and as his body laid there and was fed to your flowers it. awakened something in them #they infest him. digging their roots through his nervous system and thoroughly rooting themselves in his brain #eventually they dig their way into his lungs and they take a breath filled with moss and soil #they dig their way out under the dead of night #and their memory is limited but from what limited synapses are still firing they remember you. and they know your touch.#you grew them from seeds. you are their mother. you are their god. you are their wife. you are everything.#they are mostly piloted by muscle memory. they know not of what drives them to do the things they do #complete removal of inhibitions. not weighed down by other people's expectations of what they're supposed to be #in some ways this is the best you've known your husband in all the years you've known him #they awaken from their dirt nap and begin to wander #your husband is found the next day by the local lake. his clothes are nowhere to be found.#(they wanted to become clean for you)#so your husband returns to you. he becomes reclusive. rarely leaving the house. spends most of his time in books or otherwise reading #(they want to become knowledgeable for you)#he treats you with reverance. he stays one step behind you like a living shadow. he will not leave the house without you there with him.#(you are all that matters)#btw this is very much a hivemind situation going on. several tens of petunias now form your deceased husband's cerebral cortex #they lack very much distinction from each other but they ARE multiple #their blood is thin and watery. they eat little unless asked. they become sluggish and sleep for days at a time during cold weather.#their body is self-seeding. their consciousness will remain but vary due to new seedlings taking over as the old ones wither and die within.#feel like when they awaken they know who YOU are and that they are YOUR husband and then they become obsessed with being the perfect husband #and then have an identity crisis when they learn your ACTUAL husband was. less than stellar #'i can be whatever you want as long as it gives me purpose'#when kissed they taste slightly sweet. mostly earthy. kind of floral. with a bitter aftertaste #your old husband didn't want kids. this confuses new husband #like even after they work through their 'i am an object to fulfill a need' phase they just REALLY want kids #you two have a daughter named melissa :-]

hello everyone i have a dentist appointment tomorrow, pls send good vibes to see if they can make my mouth stop fucken hurting

#i'm not like afraid of the dentist i had to get my mouth like completely fixed a few years ago so it's completely chill #three root canals nine cavities one extraction #that's what happens when you're depressed and don't brush your teeth for years kiddos #but now my mouth is fixed n stuff #this appointment is cause #essentially a problem i have is that my mouth is super disproportionate #my mouth is too small to hold all my teeth #and my tongue is way oversized #that leads to chronic teeth clenching/grinding which i can't even control bc it happens in my sleep #and im constantly biting my tongue and the side of my mouth #so like my tongue perpetually has deep bite marks in it #and the sides of my mouth are littered with sores #to my knowledge there's nothing they can actually do about that #i'm used to that stuff #what i'm going in for tomorrow though is #the back tooth in the top right side of my mouth is digging into the back of my mouth #there's not enough space for it there so it just digs into the flesh and the wound never heals since it doesn't get a break #i want them to pull that tooth #and i think the wisdom tooth under that guy also wants to come out #but obviously can't since there's already a fucken tooth there #i'm hoping once that tooth is pulled (if they'll be good boys and pull it for me) it'll give the wisdom tooth room to come in #cause that's exactly what happened on the opposite side of my mouth #got the back molar pulled and the wisdom tooth came in very nicely and didn't have to be removed or anything #ANYWAY THOUGH #tomorrow they're just gonna look at it im assuming since this is a new dentist #my old one stopped taking medicaid rip 😭#so that kinda sucks cause my mouth Hurts and they're not gonna like. do anything about it it yet #i had to wait like a month for an appointment slot to even be available 😬#anyway that concludes marshal mouth woes #marshal meows

lrb I def wanna draw more for that idea bc it's so fun to me. like imagine teru getting infected with the spores but he keeps trying to rip off the broccoli to negate the brainwashing and it leaves root holes in his skin.... other characters getting completely covered in the broccoli and being unrecognizable... plus the aftermath and everyone is soooo fucked up with trauma to their nerves and veins and muscles and skin and etc etc etc can you tell I enjoy body horror

The longer I watch this drama the more my attention is drawn from the main couple (they are still cute) to stare in utter fascination at the absolute train-wreck of a love triangle that's happening among the secondary characters.

#it's what they call a text post #faith watches things #doom at your service #i'm on episode 11 #everything's a mess and i'm fascinated #again nothing wrong with the main couple #i'm just a little bit bored of the 'who is gonna die for whom???' drama #like the angst is delicious #but i'm still a bit bored #so the drama of the other three has been a welcome reprieve #ji-na my poor girl both of your boys are stupid #well to be fair to lee hyun-kyu he is trying #not really sure if what joo-ik is doing counts as 'trying'#he sure is doing something #at first i was rooting for him #but now i'm looking at the hole he's dug himself into and wondering how he's going to dig himself back out
