It's not exactly a scowl. Nor is it an irritated frown. If anything, it's a look that screams sorrow. It's nothing against his friend. How would he know? The last time he and Cohen saw each other, they were in front of his living room tv playing Pokemon Stadium.

That was 21 years ago.

Here they were, catching as adults.

Catching up over a fresh cup of coffee, bonding over college stories. Laughing at their childhood memories of running through their Chicago neighborhood. Chris's laughter subsided the minute his parents were brought up.

"Um," Chris muses. "They're no longer here."

He sighs.

"...Car accident on my 10th birthday. They went out to get a cake and....someone hit them. That's why I'm here in Arizona, the Lunas took me in after and I've been here ever since."

He stares at the photos of his partners on the bakery's wall for a moment before coming back to reality.

I had to search everywhere to find this. It seems like a lot of update accounts missed it because he must of deleted it so quickly. I myself had no idea he posted it. I usually skip over his songs recs 😅 I’m only there for the art.

It either sounds like he’s

1. Really horny

2. Just likes the beat of the song and posted it to share. Not everything has to be dissected. I sometimes post songs to my story because I like the beat and it has sexual lyrics and I just wanted to show off a cool sunset and the lyric had the word sunset in it… but also mentioned fuckin under a sunset or sum. That’s probably why he deleted it tbh. People were probably seeing the lyrics and being like HES HORNY RN WEE WOO WEE WOO when reallly he just wanted to share a cool song.

I’m leaning towards 2. Watch this all be clues again like when he was posting songs of Erykah Badu and stuff and then she turns out to be on his album. Maybe this is just a hint that he likes Nick Hakim’s voice and wants him on his upcoming album

so just finished watching the vengance saga listening party, and when i say the pain is sooooooooooo real but also so much catharsis.

i have been waiting for get in the water for so long and it certainly did not disappoint. the brutality of it all was phenomenally executed.

i'm not sorry for loving you was heartbreaking and painful in the best way.

dangerous was the perfect little diddy and i will be bopping along to it at work for sure.

and six hundred strike was the perfect catharsis for the release of all of ody's pain and trauma. good god i want to scream sing it while hitting a punching bag.

one more saga and the concept albums will be complete. part of me is sad to see it coming to a close, but watching it grow has been such a surreal experience.
