Last October, I was incredibly busy with school, and even then I've never really had any time to participate in October drawing challenges. But, I saw this OC-Tober thing going around by MoonSkiier on Deviantart and I really wanted to do a few of the prompts! This is actually taken from the 2022 list of prompts, but I may do the 2023 one in the future or if I just like one of the prompts better from that list. I also don't want to make any new OCs for this challenge, so if I take prompts from the 'design a new OC' part of the list, I'll just draw an existing one instead.

First up we have my oldest OC! Redmoon, also formerly known as Starclaw, is one of the first OCs I can remember ever making. She was a Clan leader (I think it might have been ForestClan or something simple like that) even though star was her suffix and not her prefix. I didn't care about that though.

I gave her quite the redesign here. I actually last drew her in 2022 I think under the name Redshimmer, though I think I like the name and theming of Redmoon more. I really like how her redesign came out, and I think I've improved with drawing cats as well. In the current day, I've thought about giving her a different role. Instead of being a Clan leader, I think she would have more of a priestess-turned-warrior role.

Not quite a medicine cat, but one who receives visions from StarClan or elsewhere and is forced into fighting and managing some kind of huge battle? I dunno, the idea is interesting. I think she would naturally be a kind cat who keeps to herself and just kinda hangs out in her temple or goes for nature walks, but finds herself forced into this role and pushed by her Clan into becoming stronger in ways she doesn't want to be. But nevertheless, she has to take control of the situation and stop it from plummeting into an all-out war.

The blorbo I had in mind while voting for this was Hain. Yes she would definitely survive getting a forehead kiss from her father… the real question is, is her father going to survive long enough to give her a forehead kiss? 😭😭😭

Sweetbone and Bugpounce!

Sweetbone is actually not a RyeClan cat, but I'm not sure where to put her yet, so she doesn't have a clan symbol with her. In clangen, she is from a random Clan I made called CinderClan, but I don't have any real attachment to them. I do really like Sweetbone though, so I want to keep her.

I'm either thinking of putting her in one of the mountainous Clans or making her a loner healer, maybe wandering around the territories with her parent or something, after she and her parent left their Clan. But my basic idea for her is that she is a young and small, but very talented medicine cat, sort of like Spottedleaf. I always really loved Spottedleaf when I was a kid, so I want to explore more of that kind of character.

And then we have Bugpounce. I was more experimental in drawing her. I wanted her to really resemble her name, so I gave her some more buglike attributes, like the big eyes and her whiskers resembling antennae. She's a RyeClan warrior and part of one of my biggest family trees, and ever since she was born in clangen, she's been one of my favorites. She is also a classic tabby like Cranestar, but I wanted to distinguish their patterns a little, so I took some liberties.

Anyway, that's it for the latest installment of my warriors OCs! I should have more soon. This semester won't be miserable after all because I get to drop chemistry! Yay! Doesn't mean I won't have to take it, but I'll do it after I transfer.

Presenting my third take on a Cuphead Show x Rocky Horror Picture Show crossover! This has sort of become a yearly tradition of mine and honestly I’m obsessed; both properties mean so much to me so embracing their already blended nature is such a joy! Especially with Devil and Frankie, both of whom are my favorites, being practically one and the same. 💋💋💋 I also have the isolated lineart, background image, and the Rocky pics from ‘23 and ‘22!

I will say this image was a JOURNEY. Balancing the colors, patterns, and images was a challenge, but 27 hours later it came to be and I’m so happy with it!!!!!!! No idea how I could ever top this, but I have a year to figure that out. In the meantime, I’ll be seeing you at the late night double feature picture show!
