 I sit in early morning time and think

missing the people I loved

And breathe in thick gentle darkness

enveloping me with their unbearable longing

Mother’s knowing

Father’s serenity

Husband’s caring

Lover’s passion

 Stars glimmer through inky sky

The universe taps my shoulder:

“You had them for a moment, be grateful.”
