In a cone of white beams of light, while the .45 magnum was held tight in the other hand. Criss crossing over the top of the other hand which held the flash light. Shifting her footing, Alexis took the standard police stance. Keeping her eyes open, focusing on the enviroment around her. She called out once, ' Come out, S.T.A.R.S member. Put yo----- '

Eyes stopped on the males form before her. First thing she focused on was the creature., before cutting over to the male. There was something not quite right about this one. Either he was just insane? or, he was infected. She had been instructed on the new virus that had been unleashed. From what she knew, this one was presenting signs. Ones that the infected shown when they were at least a few days in. Was she supposed to be here alone? Did Captain Wesker really think about this? He knew, he knew this was happening and sent her in here without Chris.

It had to be because they didn't take her seriously, typical male chauvinism. Keeping her eyes trained on the one in front of her. She was aware of other things around her. Hidden in the shadows, what were they waiting for? She was guessing for her to let her guard down. But that wasn't going to happen. The second that she even tried to take her eyes off the male. He or whoever else was here would make a move. And with the creatures she dealt with on the daily. She knew that wasn't going to be a gun, or any weapon for that matter.

Krusty the Clown TidBit: The third season episode "Like Father, Like Clown" is the first to establish that Krusty is Jewish. Krusty's religion had not been part of the original concept, and the idea came from Jay Kogen. The episode is a parody of The Jazz Singer, which is about a son with a strict religious upbringing who defies his father to become an entertainer. In order to make "Like Father, Like Clown" a full parody of The Jazz Singer, the decision was made to make Krusty Jewish and have his father be a rabbi.

Kang & Kodos TidBit: Kang and Kodos's names are derived from two Star Trek characters. Kang was a Klingon captain portrayed by actor Michael Ansara in "Day of the Dove", whereas Kodos the Executioner was a human villain from "The Conscience of the King".

Addison knew something was wrong with Seabrook the minute she arrived. The town looked normal, but was practically seeped of its color. Like an old black and white movie, the place was permanently stuck in the past. Her grandmother, a woman she hadn’t seen since she was a kid, hadn’t aged a day and gives her the creeps. The people of the town all look ready to eat her. And her new classmates? Well…they’re all just a bit too monstrous to be normal.

“Even if I could, you know I can’t afford driving to Maine, let alone flying there…”

On October 29, 1992, the Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror III" aired. This time it was Homer who warned the audience about the episode being scary with a nod to the old "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" intros. The wrap-around segments involved Lisa, Grandpa, and Bart telling a story while at a Halloween party. The three segments were "Clown Without Pity" (based on the Twilight Zone episode "Living Doll" with touches of "Child's Play" and "Gremlins"), "King Homer" (based on the original "King Kong") and "Dial 'Z' for Zombies" (based on "Pet Cemetery" and various zombie movies like "Living Dead" franchise).

Curious: which is your favorite treehouse of horror episode and which is your favorite treehouse of horror individual story

hey, i’m not sure if i could actually pick a favourite episode. i’ve always had fave stories within the episodes more… but treehouses 1-6 are hands down the best, maybe with episode 3 being my ultimate. dial ‘z’ for zombies is my very fave story ✨ but i also really love hungry are the damned, the monkey’s paw, clown without pity, nightmare cafeteria and the devil and homer simpson. all the early ones are good though really

October Halloween Movie Fest Day Three:

Today I finished the duology and watched Addams Family Values, thus completing the only two Addams Family watchable media that I am familiar with. (There’s also an Amiga game I played to death). I also watched Treehouse of Horror 3 (Clown Without Pity/King Homer/Dial Z For Zombies).

Addams Family Values is imo a delightful movie that would completely fall apart if it wasn’t packed to the brim with stellar actors giving approximately 10,000%. Everything about it is just a blast, I love the commentary in the thanksgiving play, Debbie is such fun. I personally wish it had just a little bit more connection with the previous movie—like, I appreciate that Margaret appears, and some of the other family members, and there probably wasn’t room for more, I just would like a little more canon than fridge logic explaining a few things. But it’s great, and sometimes I think I would like to try out all the Addams Family movies and tv series so I have a full understanding of the franchise… but that is a project for another time, I think.

I rank THOH3 above 2 and below 1. The atmosphere is nice and spooky throughout, although it doesn’t quite reach The Actual Creeps. I also find it funnier than 2, from “the frogurt is also cursed” and “the doll’s trying to kill me and the toaster’s been laughing at me!” to the whole zombie montage. Really, I only rank 1 higher because I find it genuinely a little creepy at times, and that’s important for Halloween episodes.

I also packed in three more Teen Wolf episodes. Peter Hale sidled his way onscreen, lots of great Stiles and Derek scenes and tension, and I kind of adore how Jackson is complex and interesting and also a complete dumbass dickish asshole. It’s at the point in the series when they started subverting the classic “high school with super powers” tropes by letting Jackson find out about Scott and get sucked into the plot, instead of remaining a nosy bully forever. Love that. I keep thinking idly about some old theories and headcanons and that one absolutely bonkers headcanon I wrote a fanfic about. Good times.
