Rejected Laito design held me in its clutches for a long time and now I finally sketched him

Anyway once I did the first sketch he reminded me of rats so now I have headcanons about this whole thing being a period of time in his life when he introduced himself to bleach (probably happened during 2000s) ⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

Chibi comics say he is still trying to find new things to wear but this was peak of him trying to follow fashion trends

Tried to hit on a bunch of gyaru girls and ended up having a friend group to gossip with

One of them gave him two pet rats (no one wants to know what their names are but he tells people anyway)

His phone is bedazzled and is full of pictures of them and his selfies

They eat his crossword puzzles and make nests out of them

Got told he has a rats nest both in his room and on his head multiple times

Says "be gone" to his roots and bleaches them every month (no tone though, only bleach)

Giving him conditioner was the only thing that saved his hair from falling out but it still didn't do him justice so he had to wait till his own hair grows out and cut it short a couple years later

Tried to wear white mascara but it didn't go well with his yellow hair so he used black one instead (his brothers thought his natural red eyelashes looked better)

Those boots were stolen from Ayato since he "didn't wear them that much" (at least that's what Laito says every time Ayato tries to get them back)

Belts do not help with keeping his pants in place since he only wears them as an accessory and most of his clothes are 2 or 3 sizes bigger because he lost some weight but refused to get new ones

Has a collection of hair pins his friends gifted him (or the ones he accidentally stole)

A/N: I’m so happy everyone seems to be enjoying this au so far! I’m so excited to keep sharing it with you guys! I’m willing to answer any questions you may have :3 and I’d love to keep sharing

Tw: mentions of SA, implied abuse

- Most dysfunctional household. With six vampires it’s bad enough as is but six male vampires? Horrid 100%

- The most unsafe household for Yui, all of the brothers pretty much take great pride in bothering/attacking her whether that be mentally, emotionally or physically.

- Always a fight between one of them I mean it, usually it’s Ayato with another one of his brothers but sometimes it’s Kanato.

- Ayato hates water, hates swimming and sometimes even struggles to bathe himself due to almost drowning so many times as a child.

- Laito is 100% hyper sexual due to trauma but we’ve known this but I feel like it’s a lot worse then we’re shown. Can’t stand girls with green eyes, doesn’t like girls who have a not so natural hair color, and really doesn’t feel comfortable with most women at all.

- All of them fall into the BPD spectrum somewhere argue with a wall.

- Reiji is technically religious not in the way Yui is. He enjoys the stories and tales that circulate through religious groups and texts and has done handfuls of research and time looking into how they (esp Catholicism) work, similar to my Azusa head-canon but, Reiji has prayed. It’s been small amounts, times where he’s felt helpless but it’s happened

- Kanato has a weird fascination with ferrets.

- Shuu and Laito originally played each other’s instruments but both decided they liked the others better

- They all pick on Kanato for his height and then Kanato picks on Yui for hers.

- Yui’s connection to Cordelia is the strongest here. Her and Yui interchangeably controlling Yui’s body is a common occurrence as Cordelia tends to get Yui in danger so she’d have to drag her own self out. Cordelia tends to do this because she “misses” her sons and wants to cause issues.

- Reiji is the worst when it comes to hurting Yui. In this au I tweaked his personality to be more brat like rather than just stuck up snob. His core personality is blank wall but his inner is child like, almost like Kanato.

- Yui and Ayato study together often, and by study I mean Yui studies and Ayato bothers her until he sucks her blood. But this has been an ongoing thing for atleast a few months in my canon.

- Yui literally isn’t allowed to have friends outside of the manor. The brothers have and will always cut them off for her. Too big of a risk.

- Ayato and Laito often team up to prank Kanato.

- Shuu actually likes Subaru, it’s cause they don’t really bump heads often due to them liking solitude

- Subaru and Yui get along pretty well.

- Reiji’s natural hair color is also blond but he dyed it cause he didn’t wanna look like Shuu

- Kanato also naturally had red hair like his brothers and dyed it, he also has green eyes in this design.

- each brother has moments with Yui where they kinda have a human esc response. They have their moments but they’re rare.

Kino. The King of Ghouls. The Incomplete Mage. He Who Wears Darkness as His Cloak. The Lord of Crows. The Prince With No Crown.

while most people in Westeros believed that Shuu is Karlheinz's firstborn son, a few people knew that it wasn't him. it was none other than Kino, his son from Devyn Kang (@secretarykang), the world's most powerful witch

as a child, Kino believed that one day, he would be a king like Karl, reigning over the seven kingdoms with his magic and ensuring every single being in this world is equal with rights and hoping to end humanity's sufferings

well tbh it was also Karl's fault for encouraging him to think that way

and yes it all turned out to be a farce when Karl eventually found out that Devyn wasn't the magic woman in the prophecy and Kino is not the son who will become his heir in Westeros

this prompted Karl to leave the life he built with Devyn and Kino, ultimately burying all traces of them and proceeding to ally himself with Burai and Menae (aka Cordelia's parents)

Kino wasn't fully accepting the fact that Karl abandoned his first family so he went undercover to Westeros, hoping he could change Karl's mind

until he found out that Karl had already moved on with his life, marrying Cordelia and having the triplets as his replacement since they were all touched with magic based on the prophecy

but Kino was stubborn, pleading to the guards that he needed to talk to Karlheinz bcos he was his firstborn

Karl entertained him ofc, promising him that he and Devyn will be a part of their family in Westeros

but it was a lie ofc

the next thing Karl did was burn the whole town of mages in the North, making sure no one escapes

Devyn was powerless to protect Kino so she gave up all her powers to him and placed a curse on Karlheinz that he will die a tragic death unbefitting of a king

and bcos of his immense power, Kino branded himself as the king of Ghouls, animating all the dead mages and controlling them to do all his bidding

there were a few mages who lived, and so Kino had them transferred to Shadowlands with the help of Gilbert Feinze

he even observed the triplets grow until they were 16, watching all their movements so he would know their weaknesses and have his ghouls kill them

ofc he almost succeeded with his first attempt to steal Kanato's eyes, only for Maya to kill his ghouls with her purified arrow.

and at night he would dream abt what Karlheinz did to him and his mother, and how revenge never tasted this good

until then, the cards will fall one by one and he will crown himself as the King of All Seven Kingdoms.
